Bar Complaint Filed Against Kevin Morris for Financially Aiding Hunter Biden

America First Legal on Tuesday filed a California bar complaint against Hunter Biden’s lawyer, Kevin Morris, for allegedly violating “both the text of the Rules of Professional Conduct and the well-established norms of the legal profession” of the California Bar Association.

Morris, Hunter’s so-called “sugar brother,” recently emerged as a main character in the House impeachment inquiry’s probe into the Biden family:

  • Morris controls his client’s ten percent stake in a Chinese state-backed fund, BHR Partners, Just the News reported in October, confirming Breitbart News’ exclusive report in April.
  • Morris paid Hunter’s IRS debts and reportedly let him a total of 4.9 million for housing, car payments, and legal fees.

Morris’ financial aid to Hunter “is expressly prohibited by State Bar of California Rule 1.8.5(a),” America First Legal’s complaint contends. The rule is “intended to prevent the abuses which were criminalized under the principles of champerty and maintenance,” the legal defense fund argued.

“Yet Mr. Morris now appears to be representing Hunter Biden, thus risking violation of the attorney-client relationship prescribed by the Rules,” the organization stated. “Ongoing funding of Biden by Mr. Morris now that such a relationship has been established would constitute a violation of Rule 1.8.5 especially when third parties state that Mr. Morris has been serving ‘foremost as [Hunter Biden’s] lawyer.'”

Hunter admitted Morris gave him money and that the latter is a friend.

“I don’t know where I would be if not for Kevin,” Hunter Biden recently the told Los Angeles Times. “And I don’t mean just because he has loaned me money to survive this onslaught, I mean because he has given me back my dignity. He’s been a brother to me.”

“He’s a fighter, he is fearless,” Hunter said, noting Morris’ alleged loyalty to him. “But it’s with the knowledge that no matter what, that I know that if I need him and most likely before I even know that I need him, he will be there and likewise me with him.”

House investigators announced a probe into the Biden family in November 2022. They later revealed Joe Biden received money from James and Hunter Biden. They also showed that nine additional Biden family members received payments from the family’s foreign business ventures, including two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren.

Biden’s DOJ Confirms Hunter Biden’s Laptop Is Real

The Justice Department (DOJ) confirmed in a Tuesday court filing Hunter Biden’s laptop is real, a suppressed fact that could have altered the 2020 presidential election.

Seventy-one percent of Americans believe accurate reporting of Hunter’s “Laptop from Hell” could have altered the 2020 presidential election, according to polling.

The DOJ confirmed the laptop was Hunter’s by determining that he left it at a computer store and that the contents matched what authorities obtained via a search warrant of Hunter’s iCloud.

“Investigators also later came into possession of the defendant’s Apple MacBook Pro, which he had left at the computer store,” prosecutors wrote:

A search warrant was also obtained for his laptop and the result of the search warrant were largely duplicative information also obtained for his laptop and the result of the search were largely duplicative of information investigators had already obtained from Apple.

Shortly after the New York Post broke the laptop story, CNN reporter Natasha Bertrand wrote the infamous and now discredited Politico story that used “dozens of former intel officials” to push a false and misleading narrative about the origins of Hunter’s laptop.

It took the establishment media over a year to admit the story was false. Hunter’s laptop holds “authentic communications that can be verified,” the Washington Post admitted after not pursuing the story for 532 days.

CNN also finally admitted Hunter’s “laptop from hell” was authentic after the initial story broke on October 24, 2020 — notably calling it “Russian disinformation” and “made up” at the time.

After nearly two years, the New York Times reported the emails from Hunter’s laptop were his, Breitbart News reported.

Fifteen media personalities also claimed Hunter’s laptop emails were likely Russian propaganda. Perhaps most famously, CBS News reporter Lesley Stahl falsely told President Donald Trump in 2020 that Hunter’s “laptop from hell” could not be verified.

President Joe Biden and his press secretary also gave inaccurate statements about the laptop’s origin:

  • Joe Biden: “Overwhelming evidence from the intelligence community” suggests it was Russian disinformation.
  • Joe Biden: Hunter’s laptop were just “a smear campaign” and “a bunch of garbage.”
  • Jen Psaki: The laptop was a part of “broad range of Russian disinformation.”

Despite years of Biden family and media disinformation, we are finally learning that President Joe Biden really did fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin for looking into state corruption involving the oil company Burisma and Hunter Biden — and ultimately Joe Biden himself.

As vice president, Biden, in his own words, bragged that he had threatened to cancel the deliverance of American foreign aid to Ukraine unless Shokin was dismissed.

So what is Congress to do now — un-impeach and exonerate an innocent impeached Donald Trump, and instead impeach a guilty Biden for essentially the same allegations?

After all, the Left redefined the impeachment bar in 2019 as leveraging foreign aid to Ukraine to benefit one’s political career.

And that is exactly what Joe Biden did to ensure his son could continue to raise millions for the Biden family with foreign governments, while being shielded from political consequences.

An impeached Trump also was accused of using the power of government to go after his likely 2020 presidential rival by suggesting that Joe Biden and his family were corrupt, and should be investigated by Ukrainian officials for fraud and bribery.

Despite Joe Biden’s denials, Trump was right: there was plenty of evidence to link Ukrainian unwarranted payoffs going into Biden family coffers.

So Trump in 2019 had good reasons to ensure that none of the Bidens were still burrowed deeply into the Ukrainian payoff machine.

In contrast, Biden had far less grounds to unleash the full powers of government against his probable 2024 rival ex-president Trump.

Special Prosecutor Jack Smith is not charging Trump with bribery of the Biden sort. He does not allege that Trump gave special foreign policy preferences for those foreigners who paid his family for such services.

Instead, Smith argues that Trump unlawfully took out classified presidential papers –although Joe Biden did nearly the same.

Biden kept quiet about his vast removal of classified documents for over a decade. Not until Trump was being investigated did Biden suddenly notify the government of his illegal removals.

In contrast, a combative and boisterous Trump fought openly and constantly with federal archivists over which of his papers at his Mar-a-Lago estate were truly classified.

Biden was 25 in 1967, and was attending Syracuse University College of Law, from which he graduated 76th in a class of 85 in 1968. By 1967, when he  supposedly talking to the Egyptian government on behalf of Golda

 Meir, he had already embarked upon his career of lying. A Syracuse

 College of Law faculty report on December 1, 1965 stated that  Biden “used five pages from a published law review article without quotation or attribution,” and recommended that he fail a legal methods course because of his plagiarism.

Hunter Biden Stiffed His Art Dealer: ‘Still Bitter About a Lot of That Stuff’82

Hunter Biden stiffed his art dealer, Georges Bergès, for swanky art exhibitions, Bergès told House Oversight and Judiciary committees last week, according to a transcript reviewed by Breitbart News.

Hunter Biden’s failure to pay his bills was one reason Bergès dropped him as a client, he told the committees. “It was a little bit more than I could chew … So I haven’t agreed to renew that contract now,” he testified.

Hunter Biden has a history of stiffing those he owes. He previously refused to pay for housing, car payments, and legal fees, totaling $4.9 million, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“I paid for them [art shows],” Bergès replied when asked about who paid for the art exhibits. “I’m still bitter about a lot of that stuff.”

“I took a gamble and it didn’t really pay off, but so that’s one of the reasons I haven’t really renewed the contract,” he added. “I had to do all the framing. I had to do all the shipping. I had to expedite it.”

Hunter Biden knew the identities of 70 percent of his “anonymous” art buyers, Bergès said, contradicting the White House’s claim that the president’s son was “not involved in the sale or discussions about the sale of his art,” and that he would not be “informed” of “who is purchasing his art.”

Hunter Biden’s art sales worry Republicans due to the often-nefarious nature of the art world:

  • Money laundering is a major issue in the industry, according to a 2020 Senate report.
  • Some Republicans believe the Biden family business laundered money.

At least three people bought Hunter Biden’s work: Kevin Morris, Hunter’s lawyer; a democrat donor and Biden administration appointee; and Bergès’ gallery co-owner William Jacques. Bergès’ deal with Hunter Biden entitled him to a 40 percent commission from the sales. The commission suggests Hunter received $900,000 for his novice art paintings.

Despite failing to pay his bills and the limited art sales, Hunter Biden wanted Bergès to keep working with him. “I mean, we’ve discussed extending it. At the moment I opted not to,” he told investigators. “I’m trying to sell hi[s] art to multiple people, not just one,” he said. “I haven’t renewed the contract because I have to look at the totality of the sales.”

Representing Hunter Biden “hasn’t been the best decision for me,” Bergès continued. “I never expected the whole security issue or the death threats and people assuming political affiliation, which was completely wrong.”

Bergès is a controversial character. In 2016, an investor in Bergès’ gallery sued him for fraud and breach of contract. Before filing for personal bankruptcy in 1998, authorities arrested Bergès in California and “charged with assault with a deadly weapon and ‘terrorist threats,'” public records from the Santa Cruz Police Department show.

Bergès shady history also includes business in China. Bergès bragged in 2015 about his plans to be the “lead” art dealer in China, where the Biden family business and Kevin Morris maintain business ties. “I plan to find and discover and bring to the rest of the world those I consider China’s next generation of modern artists,” he said.
