President Joe Biden said on Wednesday he was saddened to learn that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is stepping down from leadership in November, which will be followed by his retirement in January.

“I trusted him, we had a great relationship, we fought like hell. But he never, never, never misrepresented anything. I’m sorry to hear he’s stepping down,” Biden told reporters, according to a video posted to X and transcribed by the Recount. The pair served in the Senate for decades together before Biden became vice president in 2008:

McConnell, 82, delivered remarks on the Senate floor Thursday, revealing he would also be retiring from his seat at the end of the 118th Congress, saying that “Father Time remains undefeated” and “its time for the next generation of leaders,” as Breitbart News noted.

“As Ecclesiastes tells us, to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven,” he said. “One of life’s most underappreciated talents is to know when it’s time to move on to life’s next chapter. So I stand before you today, Mr. President and my colleagues, to say this will be my last term as Republican leader.

McConnell’s announcement follows multiple episodes in the last year in which he froze for an extended period of time while speaking with reporters.

Meanwhile, pressure mounts on his fellow octogenarian, Biden, regarding age, particularly following special counsel Robert Hur’s damning report of the Biden classified documents investigation in early February. In the report, Hur described the president’s memory as “significantly limited.”

Moreover, public polling shows voters are worried about Biden’s age and mental acuity. In a Harvard-Harris poll conducted from February 21-22, 59 percent of registered voters said they “have doubts about his fitness for office.” Similarly, 67 percent of all respondents said he is “showing he is too old” for the presidency. The poll surveyed 2,022 registered voters nationally, and a margin of error was not specified.

An NBC News poll released ahead of Hur’s report found that 89 percent of voters, to varying degrees, have concerns that he lacks “the necessary mental and physical health to be president for a second term.”

That poll sampled 1,000 registered voters from January 26-30, and the margin of error is ± 3.1 percentage points.

McConnell and Biden are both subjects of author Peter Schweizer’s new bestselling book published by Harper Collins, Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans. Breitbart News published an article Thursday, “‘Blood Money’: Why Mitch McConnell Won’t Talk About China’s Drug War Against America,” as outlined in Schweizer’s book, which sits at number one on the Amazon bestseller list.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) often lectures his Senate colleagues on the urgency of continuing to fund Ukraine’s war against Russia, but there’s an issue more urgent to the American people he has not adequately addressed, according to Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer’s new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.

In Blood Money, Schweizer reveals China’s “Disintegration Warfare” plans to kill Americans and sow social chaos, detailing shocking evidence that China is intentionally and systematically exporting deadly fentanyl into the United States.

Despite that war raging in communities across America and claiming hundreds of thousands of lives, Schweizer writes that McConnell has never made China’s role supplying fentanyl a priority.

McConnell’s family, through his wife Elaine Chao’s father-in-law, has strong financial ties with the Chinese government, Schweizer explains. He says further that McConnell would put his family’s finances at risk by holding China’s leaders to account for what they’ve done to the American people. He writes:

The Chao family runs an international shipping business that is heavily dependent on the good graces of the Chinese government. The family businesses, Foremost Group and its subsidiaries, do considerable work with some of the companies named in this book, including Hutchison Port Holdings, which operates ports around the world and as we’ve shown, has been the subject of concern for decades about smuggling activities.

Hutchison enjoys a close working relationship with the Chinese government and military while conducting significant business with the Chao family businesses, Schweizer documents in his book. He also reveals that the company has deep ties with Chinese organized crime. And Hutchison has been flagged by U.S. officials for problems with smuggling weapons and other prohibited items, according to U.S. government reports he cites.

In Mexico, Hutchison controls and operates the international terminals in Manzanillo and Puerto de Lazaro Cardenas. U.S. officials believe 90 percent of fentanyl precursors arriving in Mexico from China come through Manzanillo alone, Schweizer writes. And the fentanyl produced there ends up in American communities.

“The family’s dependence on Beijing’s favor for the operation of their business is real,” Schweizer says. “Were Senator McConnell to take action that angered the Chinese leadership, they could effectively destroy the Chao family business overnight.”

In 2019, when the opioid crisis was already responsible for tens of thousands of deaths – including in McConnell’s home state of Kentucky, which was particularly hard hit – the Washington Post asked the Republican leader what he had done to deal with the fentanyl crisis. According to Blood Money, “McConnell’s office told the paper that he had ‘taken meaningful steps to address the opioid crisis, including holding roundtables in his home state.’ He had also ‘led an effort in 2015 and again in 2018 to address opioid addiction in pregnant women.'”

On Wednesday, McConnell announced that he will step down from his leadership position in the Senate later this year.

Support Pours in for New York Mother After Loss of Toddler to Fentanyl

A New York toddler’s mysterious fentanyl overdose has tormented her mother for almost a year. Though the pain of losing her daughter will never go away, strangers from around the world have stepped in to help lessen the weight.

Mehlaya succumbed to a fatal overdose at her grandmother’s Syracuse home when she was just two years old on April 25, 2023, Syracuse.com reported. No charges were filed in relation to her death, and the Onondaga District Attorney’s Office is still investigating ten months later.

Meanwhile, Heaven Blue has been distraught — carrying her late daughter’s remains in a zip-lock bag whenever she goes.

A recent interview with Blue has gone viral, touching the hearts of many people who heard and related to her story.

In a January 25 video that has since been viewed over 1.2 million times, Blue recalled how becoming a mom to Mehlaya at just 18 years old gave her “strength.”

Describing how she went through her teenage pregnancy alone after being bounced between foster care and group homes, she said, “I chose to have my daughter because I didn’t have a mom. My mom battled with mental illness.”

“I told myself the first time I had a baby, I’m gonna be the best mom I never had,” Blue told Syracuse.com.

“It was very hard but my daughter became my best friend,” she continued, describing Mehlaya as “the light that I never knew I needed.”

When she received a call that her daughter wasn’t breathing while she was at work, Blue said she felt her heart “shatter.”

“I haven’t felt it come back since,” the mourning mother said, recalling how her daughter was already dead when she rushed to the hospital.

“I let her go with people that I thought … was going to be good to her,” Blue said. “But my daughter died from an overdose with fentanyl in her system. And nobody … knows how that happened.”

“I don’t want nobody to have to feel that pain … I want justice for Lay-Lay,” the mother added, showing her plastic bag full of her baby’s ashes.

Following the interview, Blue received thousands of comments with support and prayers from around the globe.

One kind stranger even donated an urn and a locket so that she could properly store Mehlaya’s remains.

Rochelle Swieton of Central New York sent the items to Blue, who immediately relocated her baby’s ashes to them.

Swieton told the outlet that she feels better knowing the locket will allow Mehlaya to still be physically close to Blue’s heart.

“The article touched me in a way that is hard to explain,” Swieton said. “I felt such sadness for Heaven and Mehlaya.”

According to Blue, “It’s the first time after my daughter’s death that I’ve felt OK, that I’ve felt like I’m not alone.”

“It’s the best love I’ve felt since my daughter died,” she added. “I appreciate all the love and support.”

GoFundMe page created by Blue has also received over $5,000 in donations from those who want to help the mother get back on her feet and get justice for her child.

As the fentanyl crisis sweeps across the U.S., Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer has worked to reveal who is really behind the deliberate poisoning of American youth.

OE BIDEN AND RED CHINA: PARTNERS IN CRIME

China’s TikTok Rejects Ads for Peter Schweizer’s Book ‘Blood Money’

The Chinese-owned social media company TikTok has denied advertisements for Peter Schweizer’s new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, deeming the ad too “political.”

“We regret to inform you the content was rejected for the following reason(s),” a message from China’s TikTok read. “This ad has been rejected because the ad creative or landing page may feature or promote political content.”

“This could include political party references or election references,” The Chinese app added. “Please modify or remove the related content.”

The ad denied by TikTok is not related to political parties or the election — it is a product ad for a non-fiction book.

Watch the ad on YouTube:

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, Schweizer said, “TikTok, the Chinese social media app with deep ties to the CCP, has rejected an ad promoting my new book, Blood Money, for being ‘political.’ The rejected material is pointedly non-partisan and clearly does not violate TikTok’s stated policy against ‘political party references or election references.'”

“As it happens, my book details how the Communist Chinese Party has weaponized technology to target American children, turning them against their own nation’s values and history,” Schweizer added. “The irony here is rich — though not surprising.”

Schweizer’s Blood Money jumped to #1 on Amazon’s Best Sellers list on Monday, one day before its  release. The book is the result of a two-year investigation by Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute and a senior contributor to Breitbart News, as well as his team of forensic investigators.

In the book, they traced hundreds of billions of dollars in suspect money linked to China’s undeclared war on the United States, sifting through “restricted” Chinese military documents and a “mountain of American financial records.”

As Breitbart News reported, TikTok, which is widely considered to be a Chinese surveillance and psyops weapon thinly veiled as a social media platform, is known for being a danger to kids and teens, meddling in U.S. elections, as well as being considered a national security threat.

Moreover, the Chinese app’s parent company, ByteDance, which is beholden to the hostile foreign country, has already been caught snooping on U.S. journalists, with a former ByteDance executive saying the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) had “supreme access” to all data held by the Chinese tech company, including on servers in the United States.

This is not the first time TikTok has denied an advertisement, claiming it is too political.

In December, the Chinese app rejected an ad promoting awareness of the plight of Israeli hostages held by Hamas, saying it was “too political.”

CCP Continues to Steal Intellectual Property From US Firms in China: Ambassador Burns AND BIDEN PROBABLY STORES IT ALL IN HIS GARAGE!

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.

‘Blood Money’: Biden Family Lawyer Abbe Lowell Served as Legal Representative for Member of Chinese Criminal Gang Involved in Drug Trade

Hunter Biden’s lawyer Abbe Lowell served as a legal representative for a member of a Chinese criminal gang involved in the international drug trade, Peter Schweizer reports in his new book, Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.

Lowell was a legal representative for Ng Lap Seng, who is believed to be a member of the Shui Fong triad which is reportedly involved in the international drug trade, Schweizer reports in Blood Money.

The revelation is significant because Lowell’s ties to an alleged member of a criminal gang involved in the drug trade provides a possibly embarrassing entanglement for President Biden in light of his administration’s weak policy on fentanyl, Schweizer, the president of the Government Accountability Institute and a Breitbart News senior contributor, argues in his book.

These “conflicting personal ties” could pose a problem for Joe Biden’s drug policies with regards to China, Schweizer writes in Blood Money:

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Abbe Lowell, has represented a variety of well-known American clients from New Jersey senator Bob Menendez to members of the Trump family. But he was also a legal representative for Ng Lap Seng. Lowell has also represented Qin Fei, who is accused of being a Chinese intelligence officer, and Lum Davis, who pled guilty to illegally lobbying for the Chinese government. The problem of conflicting personal ties when it comes to confronting China on fentanyl extends beyond the Biden family to members of his administration. And so does the silence.

The Bidens have additional ties to China. In addition to Lowell, Hunter’s Hollywood lawyer, Kevin Morris, still controls Hunter’s ten percent stake in BHR Partners, a multi-billion dollar fund with investments throughout the globe and close ties to the Bank of China, a state-owned bank, Breitbart News exclusively reported.

Joe Biden’s international drug trade policies have not effectively held China accountable for the supply of precursor chemicals used by drug cartels to manufacture fentanyl, Schweizer asserts in Blood Money:

[A]according to officially released notes of the conversations he [Biden] has had with President Xi, he has not raised the subject with the Chinese president as of this writing. When the so-called monkeypox virus emerged in 2022, the virus received “czar” status in the White House, even though, at the time, it had not claimed a single American life. Fentanyl gets no “czar” status at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And China has not been called to account.

In late 2022, the Biden administration named twenty-two countries as being transit points for drugs or producers of drugs. One country not on the list? China. In announcing his administration’s drug strategy, Biden could only promise, “We will look to expand cooperation with China  .  .  . to disrupt the global flow of synthetic drugs and their precursor chemicals.”

Biden’s secretary of state, Antony Blinken, has made excuses for Beijing, absurdly arguing that some of the precursors arriving in Mexico from China have been shipped by accident. He cautiously added that mentioning precursor shipments from China was “not about pointing fingers.”

Senate Republicans on ‘Blood Money’: ‘Joe Biden Is Compromised’

President Joe Biden is “compromised,” Senate Republicans concluded on Tuesday following the official release of Peter Schweizer’s Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.

Senate Republicans made the declaration on social media, linking to a piece on Breitbart News highlighting one of the findings in the seven-time New York Times’s bestseller’s book.

“JOE BIDEN IS COMPROMISED,” Senate Republicans wrote, appealing to a piece highlighting how the Biden family bagged $5 million from the business partner of Chinese criminal gang leader, the “White Wolf,” who helped create the devastating fentanyl pipeline ravaging the United States:

As detailed in Blood Money, the Bidens developed a business partnership with a Chinese tycoon named Ye Jianming, who was the chairman of CEFC China Energy Co., when Biden served as vice president. This company had “strong ties to the Chinese Communist Party,” as Breitbart News detailed:

Throughout Ye’s relationship with the Bidens, he “showered” some members of the Biden family with money, Schweizer reported. Hunter Biden received a three-carat diamond worth $80,000; and in July 2017, Ye’s company gave the Bidens a $5 million, interest-free, forgivable loan.

Hunter spoke to Ye on a “regular basis,” Hunter explained in an email.  According to Schweizer, Ye also had a partnership with Zhang Anle, the former leader of a Chinese triad called the United Bamboo Gang (UBG). Zhang Anle, who was also known as the “White Wolf,” became an important partner of the Sinaloa Cartel in Mexico.

Blood Money reports:

Ye and White Wolf set up the Shanghai Zhenrong Petroleum Company together. White Wolf’s gang, UBG, also has a “partnership” with Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel and helps them in the production and distribution of fentanyl in the United States. UBG helped to turn “the Sinaloa Cartel into the King of Fentanyl,” according to a Mexican investigation of the cartel.

White Wolf had been arrested and convicted in the 1980s on drug-trafficking and racketeering charges in the United States. The UBG is involved extensively in the international drug trade, having sold heroin in the United States for decades. As one government report stated, “It is believed the gang is active in several U.S. cities, including Chicago, Honolulu, Houston, Miami, Phoenix, and various California cities. The UBG has built up a sophisticated network capable of supplying members with guns, narcotics, and fraudulent identifications.” White Wolf also has close ties with the Beijing government; senior Communist Party officials call him “Big Brother.” The fact that a Chinese businessman who showered millions on the Bidens is partners with a crime syndicate partnering in the distribution of fentanyl into the United States might be shocking enough. But there is more.

The reaction from Senate Republicans follows that of other notable figures, including Mark Levin, who described Blood Money as “jaw-dropping” and “the Bible on what communist China is doing to our country, the politicians they bought off and the politicians that are soft on them.”

Blood Money surged to the coveted #1 slot on Amazon’s Best Sellers list on Monday, a day before its release, and it remained there on Tuesday as well.

‘Blood Money’: The Secret Chinese Military ‘Disintegration Warfare’ Manifesto to Rip America Apart Using Drugs, Social Chaos, and More

Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, a new book by Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer, reveals how the Chinese government is using drugs, social chaos, and other means to tear apart the social fabric of the United States and wage war against America without firing a shot, as part of a “Disintegration Warfare” strategy outlined in an obscure manifesto.

The book exposes this strategy, which the Chinese military outlined in a 2010 book entitled Disintegration Warfare. The strategy is based on ancient Chinese strategist and general Sun Tzu’s Art of War, a guide on how to subdue an enemy without fighting. Schweizer writes:

In keeping with this approach, China’s official military strategy focuses on—in the Chinese leaders’ words—going after the United States’ “‘soft underbelly’ in terms of politics, economics, and the spirit and psychology of [its] people.” Chinese leaders have coined new terms such as “unrestricted warfare” and “disintegration warfare” to describe Sun Tzu’s old strategy of winning without fighting.

Schweizer, who is also president of the Government Accountability Institute, notes the lethal consequences the strategy has already taken in the U.S. in the form of hundreds of thousands of American deaths in the past five years alone — a greater amount than casualties from any war in the past 50 years and “mounting daily.”

“It is a complex strategy, a hydra of drugs, disease, propaganda, and illicit pistol parts, each contributing to social chaos and killing Americans,” he writes.

Schweizer reveals that in the 1990s, two senior Chinese military officers analyzed the power of the U.S. military extensively and concluded that it was futile for Beijing to try to match it, so they instead recommended deploying a “series of nonmilitary weapons” that would “reimagine the tools of warfare and redefine the battlefield” with “out of the box” strategies.

One of those strategies, Schweizer writes, was using illegal drugs as “drug warfare.”

Drug warfare had “special resonance” among Chinese leaders, due to the nineteenth-century Opium Wars inflicted on Imperial China by British merchants, he writes. Communist Chinese officials today believe the opium trade was an attack on its economy, which went from the largest in the world to being “on its last legs,” as Schweizer details.

“Even today, military officials express outrage about the way Great Britain’s Opium Wars reduced China to a minor power,” he writes. “From the perspective of President Xi and the Communist Party, what better means of rising to power and avenging the Opium Wars than by turning the tables against the Western world that it blames?”

Today, Beijing’s hand can be found in every stage of the deadly spread of fentanyl in North America, Schweizer finds.

China is not only exporting the precursor chemicals for fentanyl, but it is also producing those chemicals, creating fentanyl and counterfeit pills in Mexico and the U.S., distributing the drug within the U.S., facilitating drug cartel financial transactions and money laundering, and facilitating the communication networks used by the cartels to operate in the U.S. without detection, he writes.

“And consistent with military escalation, there are plans to deploy even more potent drugs as weapons,” he adds.

Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death of Americans under the age of 45, Schweizer writes, adding that it has killed more Americans in a single year than were killed in the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.

But drug warfare is only one part of the strategy to take down America.

Another part is fueling social chaos using radical proxy groups within the U.S., Schweizer writes.

A 2020 Chinese military report obtained by the author reveals that Beijing sees the U.S.’s mounting social chaos and division as a national weakness, noting that “the intensifying political rivalry is depleting the energy of the U.S.”

Schweizer reveals that in order to stoke further social and division in America, China utilizes, supports, and funds multiple far-left groups within the U.S. who stoke violence and racial tensions.

These groups, which Schweizer delves into in the book, meet with Chinese Communist Party officials, are tracked by Chinese Communist intelligence, promoted by Chinese state media, and receive funding from China.

Schweizer notes that as drug warfare, social chaos, and other weapons are being deployed against the U.S., leaders in Washington are largely standing by.

“Perhaps even more shocking than Beijing’s aggressions toward us has been the willful blindness of our political leaders. Rather than confronting the reality that Beijing is wreaking havoc on our soil, they focus on domestic policy minutiae,” he writes.

Schweizer highlights two big reasons: corruption and convenience.

“Some of our leaders, who are named in the chapters that follow, have financial ties to the Chinese state and don’t want to see the flow of money disrupted,” he states.

But, he adds, some are ignoring China’s actions out of convenience. He writes:

A more complex part of the answer is that acknowledging the truth of what China is doing would require our leaders to accept a profound paradigm shift and would force extremely difficult choices that would also dramatically disrupt the lives and livelihoods of elites from Silicon Valley to Wall Street; those who benefit from partnerships with Chinese government–linked companies very often finance the campaigns of our political leaders.

Some are perhaps truly ignorant of China’s actions and intent, but most are aware of what China is doing and have chosen the path of least resistance, preferring the safe predictability of their ambivalence to the vigorous work of countering those bent on our destruction.

Schweizer names some of those who are aware of China’s illicit activities, but do nothing — including President Joe Biden, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rep. A.dam Schiff (D-CA), former President Barack Obama, and California Governor Gavin Newsom (D).

“Despite the easily available, compelling evidence of Beijing’s involvement, most of our leaders carefully avoid holding China to account,” he writes.

“Compromised by commercial opportunities that benefit them or their close allies and hiding behind the excuse of not wanting to ‘disrupt’ the US-China relationship, they effectively allow open season on Americans and sabotage our future generations.”

BORDER TOWN USA: Police in Tacoma, Washington, seized approximately 87,000 fentanyl pills from an alleged drug trafficker connected to a Mexican cartel, city officials said in a written statement. The officers also found 83 pounds of methamphetamine and heroin allegedly being brought from the Mexican border to Washington.

“During the investigation, it was uncovered that the suspect had connections with cartel members near the United States Southern Border,” Tacoma Police Department Public Information Officer William Muse said in a written statement. “Subsequently, the suspect would transport large quantities of narcotics back to Tacoma for distribution along the Pacific Avenue Corridor.”

Breitbart Texas reached out to Tacoma police officials for the identity of the alleged drug trafficker and their nationality. The official said they are not allowed to release that information. The Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office officials were not available for comment.

Police say the suspect “specialized in the distribution of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and heroin” along the Pacific Avenue corridor. Investigators learned the suspect has connections with cartel members near the United States southern border. The suspect would allegedly transport large quantities of the drugs back to the Tacoma area.

Investigators report the seized drugs have an estimated value of $550,000. In addition to the drugs, investigators reportedly seized a handgun loaded with armor-piercing rounds. Police described the bullets as “cop-killer bullets.” Police also seized body armor worn by the suspect during the arrest, officials stated.

A search of the suspect’s residence led to the seizure of four additional firearms. Police say two of these guns were reported stolen. Included in the seizure were two .556 caliber rifles modified into “pistol” configuration, the statement revealed. Additional armor-piercing ammunition was also seized from the home.

“This investigation and subsequent arrest represent a significant victory in addressing the opioid and fentanyl crisis while also mitigating the violence linked with narcotics trafficking,” Muse concluded.

China’s involvement in the fentanyl crisis “can be found in every stage of the poison’s spread in North America,” bestselling investigative journalist Peter Schweizer explains in an excerpt from his new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans.

Schweizer, who is the president of the Government Accountability Institute and a Breitbart News senior contributor, describes China’s weaponization of fentanyl in an exclusive excerpt of Blood Money for the New York Post.

“While we debate domestic politics to address the fentanyl crisis, the reality is that Beijing is deeply involved at every stage of the drug’s production and distribution in the United States,” Schweizer writes, noting that in 2019 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security asked for fentanyl to be classified as a “weapon of mass destruction.”

China’s production of the precursor chemicals necessary to make fentanyl is well known, but Schweizer’s book reveals the communist regime’s involvement in the full production, distribution, and even financing of the drug’s trafficking in North America.

“Based on leaked US national security documents, Mexican government hacked emails or correspondence, and Chinese corporate records, we know that the fentanyl operation is under Chinese control from start to finish,” Schweizer writes.

The Blood Money author breaks down his findings into five bullet point subsections detailing China’s fentanyl involvement:

* Production of the basic chemicals needed to make it

* Creation of fentanyl and counterfeit pills in both Mexico and the United States

* Distribution of the deadly drug within the United States

* Facilitation of drug cartel financial transactions, and even money laundering

* Facilitation of communications networks used by the cartels to operate without detection in the United States.

Schweizer’s findings reveal the close relationship between Chinese organized crime syndicates, or triads, and Mexican drug cartels, as well as the role of Chinese banks in helping to launder the money from the drug trade.

Schweizer is a seven-time New York Times bestselling author whose past books have sparked FBI investigations, led to the resignation of members of Congress, and has been the driving force behind bipartisan congressional anti-corruption reform laws.

Politico exclusively reported that Blood Money will reveal China’s “Disintegration Warfare” plans to kill Americans and sow social chaos and show a pattern of U.S.—China money flows, which Schweizer and his team of forensic investigators reportedly spent two years tracking.

The book cover features California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), Dr. Anthony Fauci, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), Neville Roy Singham, President Joe Biden, Chinese Communist Party Leader Xi Jinping, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), as well as images of drugs, guns, and stacks of cash.

Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans, published by HarperCollins, comes out on February 27 and is available now for pre-order.

Mark Levin: Schweizer’s ‘Blood Money’ Is ‘Jaw-Dropping’

Fox News host Mark Levin said Sunday on his show “Life, Liberty & Levin” that Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer’s new book Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans was “jaw-dropping.”

Levin said, “A journalist who uncovers really seedy muck in our government and by certain populations. And Peter Schweizer. And it’s always an honor to have Peter on the program as an exclusive guest when he has a new book coming out. He doesn’t just put out books. He his books, his team does an enormous amount of research. They back it up with facts and footnotes, and it’s always jaw dropping.”

He continued, “His new book, “Blood Money Why the Powerful Turned a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans” is stunning. It’s stunning in the breadth to which communist China owns our government. It’s stunning in the extent to which it affects our society. It is stunning by the fact that we have a president, the United States, and a family. As Peter has reported before, that basically has taken tens of millions of dollars from this government, which I think is one of the reasons why they don’t stand up to communist China.”

Levin asked, “Let’s start with China’s foot soldiers, China’s foot soldiers in America. What do you mean by that?”

Schweizer said, “Yeah, I mean, you look at a situation like the fentanyl crisis, it’s killing 100,000 Americans a year. And a lot of people know that the precursors come from China. What they don’t know is that China is involved in every single chain in this link that leads to the deaths of Americans. The precursors come to a port at the port of Manzanillo in Mexico. It’s run by a Chinese company. They send those precursors up to a small border town in Mexico, where 2000 Chinese nationals help them turn it into fentanyl. They take pill presses that are imported from China, that are sold to the drug cartels at cost by the Chinese. They make these pills. They then bring them across the border into the United States.”

He continued, “Now, the Mexican cartels need a way to communicate securely, Mark. They use Chinese apps and Chinese communication devices because they know the Chinese will not share that information with American law enforcement. And finally, when these drug cartels collect all this money they used to launder back in the old days with cocaine, they used to launder those profits in the Latin American banks. Today, they launder them in Chinese banks. So the fentanyl crisis is complete li one that is delivered from China. And the problem is our political leaders, people like Joe Biden, people like Gavin Newsom, people like Adam Schiff have ties. They have entanglements to some of the networks that are involved in this process, money laundering, etc.”

Schweizer added, “If you just look at Joe Biden, for example, Mark, the the Chinese gangster that set up the Sinaloa cartel with fentanyl made them the kings of fentanyl is a guy named Zong on Lo. He goes by the name White Wolf. White Wolf has a business partner. That business partner gave the Biden family $5 million. So does Joe Biden really want to have a conversation about Chinese involvement in the financial crisis? He does not, and his policies show it.”

Levin said, “This is the Bible on what communist China is doing to our country, the politicians they bought off and the politicians that are soft on them.”

‘My Son Did Not Die for Nothing’: Florida Moms Combat Fentanyl Poisoning

Three Florida mothers are taking a stand to inform the public about the dangers of fentanyl after losing their children to the deadly drug.

Rhonda Willis lost her 27-year-old son, Zachary Willis, in 2022.

“Toxicology came back with the Oxy with the fentanyl, and he had enough fentanyl in his system to kill 20 people,” she told Tampa’s News Channel 8.

According to the heartbroken mother, knowing that she “can never hug him again, or hold him again, or tell him I love him, or hear his voice” is a “parent’s worst nightmare.”

Over 3,000 individuals died from fentanyl poisoning in Florida from January to June 2022, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement found.

The city of St. Petersburg suffered the most fentanyl deaths with 374.

A camera crew has recently been documenting the tragedies around Tampa, which came in fourth place at 267 fentanyl deaths.

Heidi Kettles was just 27 when she passed away after using the intense opioid in 2020.

“In the middle of the night she died, and it was fentanyl and cocaine,” said her mother, Julie Kettles.

Tammy Plakstis also lost her son, Dylan Plakstis, in 2020.

“They Narcan’d him three times and they were able to get a heartbeat, but he ended up being brain dead,” she told the local outlet.

While the three mothers did not know each other prior to their respective interviews, their losses and newfound activism bring them together on one mission: saving lives.

“My sorrow, my pain will never be over,” said Kettles. “Has it eased some? Yes. I also lead a grief support group, so by helping others and having that calling to do that, it helps me.”

The grieving moms put up billboards and speak at public events in addition to participating in different groups.

According to Willis, “The more awareness that we can get out, then the more lives that can be saved.”

“The goal is to not have other parents go through what I have experienced, it is a very rough road,” she added.
Plakstis said she works with the anti-drug group Rachel’s Angels to put up awareness billboards and distribute Narcan.

“If this whole raising awareness can just save one, just one life, then my son did not have to die for nothing,” Willis added.

Police: Indiana Baby Fatally Overdoses on Fentanyl, Parents Charged

Nichole Neely and Owen Miller

An Indiana couple is facing felony neglect charges after their six-month-old baby died from fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity, officials say.

Nichole Neely, 42, and Owen Miller, 43, are each facing one count of neglect resulting in the death of a dependent and two counts of neglect where they placed the dependent in a dangerous situation, reports WNDU.

According to the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office, a neighbor called the police after discovering the infant unresponsive in the parents’ home on January 18.

“In an interview with authorities, Neely told investigators that the child had been lying down in her bedroom with Miller when she went to the kitchen for 10 minutes,” the local outlet reported. “When she returned, she claimed the child was limp and not breathing and that they tried to take the child to a neighbor who happened to work in the medical field.”

A different neighbor “later visited the child’s home,” where they unsuccessfully performed CPR.

When law enforcement arrived at the residence, they reportedly found trash and rotting food littering the entire home. According to court documents viewed by WNDU, the house was so crowded with garbage that police were unable to fully open the door to the bedroom where the baby was found.

Police also said they found a baby’s bottle containing brown liquid with a fly floating in it.

The child was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An autopsy revealed that the baby suffered from “acute fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity, as well as diaper rash and pulmonary edema; and the child’s blood culture was positive for a Staph infection,” according to the station.

A six-year-old and an eight-year-old in the home were also taken to the hospital and treated for fentanyl poisoning, but they survived.

The baby’s father, Miller, had to be given Narcan at the scene for a drug overdose before being taken to the hospital.

When speaking with officers after receiving treatment, Miller reportedly had “difficulty spelling the names of his other children.”

The fentanyl crisis sweeping across the country has sadly not spared the children of drug abusers. In recent weeks, a California man is mourning the loss of his 17-month old son who died in his mother’s care, a Florida woman was arrested after her baby survived an overdose, and a North Carolina father turned himself in after his one-year-old was also treated for fentanyl poisoning.
