THREE LYING GAMER LAWYERS - JOJO THE BRIBES SUCKER, HIS LYING CUBAN MAYORKAS AND NEW YORK'S BANKSTERS' RENT BOY CHUCK SCHUMER - The new ‘border security’ bill is about legalizing illegals

THESE PIG LAWYERS HAVE DESTROYED AMERICA'S BORDER AND NOW THEY'RE HANDING US THE TAX BILLS FOR ALL THE WELFARE THEY'RE HANDING ILLEGALS TO VOTE DEMOCRAT!

Senate Bill Grants Amnesty to Illegal Aliens in U.S. for 14+ Days or 100+ Miles from Border

The new ‘border security’ bill is about legalizing illegals

The Democrats in Congress obviously aren’t serious about stopping the crisis at the U.S. southern border, judging by the bill that they negotiated to address the crisis.  That said, the Republicans who agreed to this bill might as well change their party affiliation.

“I have no doubt that the Senate can, once again, rise to the occasion and lead America forward,” wrote Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer on X (Twitter).

Not only does it show where their loyalties lie (and it’s not with the United States), but it will anger their voters, making it less likely they will be re-elected this fall.

The U.S. Senate published the text of the proposed Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024.  The $118-billion bill provides aid to Ukraine ($48 billion) and Israel ($16 billion), as well as supposedly addressing the border crisis.

U.S. border security, which has a more immediate part to play in national security than foreign wars, gets short shrift in this bill.  Much of the money goes to hiring immigration judges to expedite asylum processing and deportation proceedings.  It also contains funding for law enforcement officers to detain and remove illegal aliens in the United States.

“The border security bill will put a huge number of new enforcement tools in the hands of a future administration and push the current Administration to finally stop the illegal flow.  The bill provides funding to build the wall, increase technology at the border, and add more detention beds, more agents, and more deportation flights,” Republican Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Sadly, it doesn’t look as though it will do that.  It does look like a way to allow 5,000 illegals a day into the country and give them work visas.  The more people read through the bill, the more problems they find.

“This Joe Biden/Chuck Schumer Open Border Bill is an absolute non-starter and will further incentivize thousands of illegals to pour in across our borders daily,” Rep. Elise Stefanik tweeted.

Although the Democrats negotiated the bill only to free up funds for Ukraine, they obviously threw in a lot of bloat, which politicians just can’t seem to avoid.  They also added things that would give the federal government more control over what happens at the border, even though they won’t do anything in the end.  We’ve been down that road before.

Senate Appropriations Committee chair Patty Murray said that the Democrats negotiated in good faith, and now it is time to act — not to protect our border, though.

“Ukraine’s fate and so much more hangs in the balance — it’s time for Congress to act,” she wrote

The problem is that this bill isn’t needed if only the federal government would actually protect the border and send the illegals back to their home countries.  If Customs and Border Patrol were allowed to do what Texas is doing, the illegals would start to get the message and the inflow of illegals would stop.

WE CAN'T SAVE AMERICA UNTIL WE PUT JOE IN CHAINS AND BAN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY!

Rep. Ashley Hinson: If Biden  Cared About Security He Would Undo His 60-Plus Open-Border Executive Actions

Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA) told Breitbart News in an exclusive statement that if President Joe Biden wanted to secure the border, he could undo his many executive actions that opened the border.

Hinson spoke to Breitbart News as 64 House Republicans sent a letter to President Joe Biden on Friday, urging him to reverse the executive actions he took that undermined American border security:

In February 2021, your administration signaled an end to enforcing “Remain in Mexico” policy and selectively stopped enforcing some Title 42 expulsions. The following month, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported a then-record increase of over 70,000 illegal encounters at the border. Months after this initial surge, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stated the “fact an individual is a removable noncitizen will not alone be the basis of an enforcement action against them.”

The deliberate combination of open border rhetoric and refusal to enforce immigration law exacerbated the border crisis, ceded operational control of our Southern Border to cartels and illegal immigrants, and invited the full-scale invasion we are currently experiencing.

In April of 2022, you again attempted to end Title 42. After this announcement, there were 241,136 illegal immigrant encounters reported in May 2022 alone. Another year later – and after over 2.5 million more encounters, including dozens of known and suspected terrorists and hundreds of violent criminals – the administration announced11 plans to allow Title 42 to expire and while offering expanded, 12 unlawful parole programs for illegal immigrants facilitated by the CBP One program.

In the letter, they noted that Biden could take executive action to undo his open border policies:

Speaker Mike Johnson wrote to you in December of 2023, urging you to take executive action to secure the Southern Border. House Republicans have passed H.R. 2, legislation that would help stop the flow of illegal immigration and protect our communities. Your actions alone created this catastrophe, and you have the power to fix it.

You can choose to direct your administration to vigorously enforce the laws on the books today, thereby stemming the tide of illegal immigration and protecting our communities. Or you can choose to perpetuate this national security and humanitarian crisis through your unequivocal failure of leadership for the American people.

“For three years President Biden has pretended the crisis at the Southern Border doesn’t exist while unraveling Trump-era policies that actually secured our border. Now that it’s an election year, he knows the horrific border crisis is a massive liability, but let’s be clear, the responsibility for this humanitarian and national security disaster lies solely with Joe Biden,” Hinson explained in a statement to Breitbart News. “If he really cared about securing the border, he would undo the 60 plus executive actions he has unilaterally taken that have dramatically expanded catch and release, limited deportations, and allowed illegal immigrants to exploit asylum.”

DO A GOOGLE SEARCH ON THE NUMBER OF AMERICANS (LEGALS) MURDERED BY DRUNK DRIVING ILLEGALS!

From Hamas to drunk drivers, is there anybody Democrats won't vote against deporting?

Other than German homeschoolers, is there any group of illegally present foreign nationals Democrats won't vote to protect from deportation?

Four immigration bills were presented in Congress and all were no-brainers to pass, but Democrats voted 'no,' on all of them.

Among the millions of illegals in the U.S. there are the Social Security number thieves, identity thieves who steal others' Social Security benefits. What did Democrats do in Congress when a deportation bill came up on Thursday? But of course. They voted against deporting them.

In the same bill, they voted to keep illegals convicted of drunk driving exempt from deportation, too.

According to the Daily Caller:

Over one hundred Democrats voted against a bill intending to deport illegal migrants caught driving under the influence (DUI).

The bill, titled Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act, passed the House with a 274-150 vote, with all voting against the legislation being Democrats, according to the roll call vote. Fifty-nine Democrats joined all 215 Republicans to vote in favor of the legislation.

Some of the Democrats who voted in favor of the legislation include Reps. Henry Cuellar and Colin Allred of Texas, Pennsylvania Rep. Brendan Foyle, California Rep. Jimmy Panetta and New York Rep. Patrick Ryan.

The bill makes driving while impaired grounds for barring a non-U.S. national from entry into the U.S. and for deportation, according to the legislation’s description. The individual must be convicted of the offense to be subjected to deportation.

And still they voted against that --150 of them were against that, some saying it was because the bill included green card holders. Why, exactly, should non-citizens with no loyalty and no obligation to the U.S. and no regard for its laws in posession of coveted green card privileges be protected from deportation after this kind of disrespect?

And more dangerously still, they voted against a measure to keep criminal charges from being filed against those who flee the Border Patrol -- you know, the million or so gotaways who know they'll be thrown back or jailed if they surrender to the Border Patrol the way most illegals are now doing under catch-and-release. These are the ones who lead the Border Patrol on high-speed chases with major crashes and casualty events. If those people aren't deportable (after serving long prison sentences) who should be?

Worst of all, in yet another bill, a pair of them, Rep. Rashida Rlaib and Rep. Cory Bush, voted 'no' on a measure to keep participants in the October 7 attacks on innocent Israelis out of the country, our country.

According to the Jerusalem Post:

United States Congresswomen Cori Bush (D-MO) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) were the sole votes against a bill in the US House of Representatives on Wednesday that would bar entry to the United States by members of Hamas or Islamic Jihad, as well as officers of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and anyone who participated in the October 7 attacks but is not a member of a recognized terrorist group. Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) voted ‘present.’

Representative Tlaib, who represents one of the most Democratic districts in Michigan and is the only Palestinian-American currently in Congress, said that the bill was “redundant” as entry to those who have participated in terrorism, such as the October 7 attacks or who are members of a recognized terrorist group, such as Hamas or Islamic Jihad, is already prohibited. This echoed statements by Democratic leaders, such as the House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, whose statement said the bill was “largely duplicative of existing law.”

The “unnecessary” bill, Tlaib said, is “just another GOP messaging bill being used to incite anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe.”

Two Democrats is two Democrats too many. This is lunacy. They had a chance to make a stand against terrorism and they claimed 'redundancy' as if this is the sort of thing that matters to them. Tlaib even played the victim, not the person with the guilty conscience.

Apparently, there is no one on their should-be-deported list, other than the hapless German homeschoolers, who were ordered to be sent back for the 'crime' of homeschooling their kids and have been fighting it in the courts ever since.

It just goes to show how unfit they are from office and need to be voted out of it by this November.

150 House Democrats Vote Against Bill to Deport Illegal Alien Drunk Drivers

Immigration and Customs Enforcement
ICE

The overwhelming majority of House Democrats voted against legislation this week that would make sure illegal alien drunk drivers are deported from the United States following their convictions.

On Wednesday, 150 House Democrats voted against the “Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act” by Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL) which would make drunk driving grounds for ineligibility to be in the U.S.

In practice, the law would ensure that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents can swiftly take illegal aliens convicted of drunk driving into their custody so they can be deported.

Just 59 House Democrats broke ranks with their party leadership, joining 215 House Republicans to ultimately pass the bill.

“There was a newlywed couple from my hometown of Enterprise, Alabama, named Angel and Jeremy Seay. I knew them personally,” Moore said on the House floor. “Angel and Jeremy were riding their motorcycle together when an illegal immigrant under the influence of alcohol collided into them with his pickup. Their lives were cut dramatically short.”

“Sadly, tragedies like this are not uncommon across our country,” Moore said.

In another vote this week, 155 House Democrats voted against legislation from Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA) that would ensure ICE agents can promptly deport illegal aliens convicted of Social Security fraud against American citizens.

Only 55 House Democrats joined 217 House Republicans to pass the bill.

Social Security fraud, where American citizens have their Social Security numbers and thus identities stolen by illegal aliens, is extremely common.

In 2018, an Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) investigation revealed potentially 39 million cases in the prior four years where Americans had their identities stolen by illegal aliens.

Democrat Negotiator: Border Deal Struck, Text Remains Hidden

Schumer Thumbs Up on Passing CR 640x480

Senate Democrats’ lead negotiator announced that a border deal has been struck, but the cabal crafting it will continue to hide the details until the last minute.

“We have a deal,” Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) announced on X on Friday morning, forecasting that the Senate will continue withholding the details despite barreling forward with a vote.

“This weekend we will release the bill and vote next week,” he said.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) announced Thursday that the bill’s details would be released no later than Sunday so that, on Monday morning, he could pull the parliamentary triggers necessary to expedite a vote. Even on an expedited schedule, due to Senate rules, the first vote to advance the bill would likely be Wednesday, with a final vote expected Thursday or Friday.

In that Wednesday procedural vote, the 51 Senate Democrats would need nine Republicans to join them in voting to end further debate and move forward with a vote on final passage.

If Republicans band together, they could slow down the process without immediately killing the bill, enabling further analysis and even alterations to the bill.

The accelerated timeline reinforced deal skeptics’ predictions that the deal’s champions will force a vote upon them quickly before the deal is sufficiently analyzed and opposition from the grassroots can mobilize.

The Senate Republican conference agreed that two to three weeks are needed to properly review any deal’s ramifications, passing a resolution brought forward by Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT).

“GOP conference passed my resolution that we need time to debate and amend whatever bill we’re given,” Lee posted on X before the deal was announced. “A single weekend doesn’t count.”

It remains to be seen if Lee’s Republican colleagues will abide by their agreement or surrender to Schumer’s demands. But Murphy signaled that the members of the Senate, once called “the world’s greatest deliberative body,” must decide immediately where they stand.

“It’s decision time,” Murphy said.

Chuck Schumer Rushes Lankford’s More-Migration Bill to Senate Vote

Chuck Schumer
AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is rushing the Senate to a migration vote on Wednesday, ensuring little time for Senators or voters to understand the 200-page rewrite of immigration law.

“Will Republicans have an opportunity to speak as it relates to this bill and perhaps even modify it?” Sen. Todd Young (R-IN) asked reporters in the Senate after the rushed schedule was announced.

“The details are going to matter,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) told Fox News. “Next week could be a quick turnaround [but] the thing about text — and why it’s so important in this context — is that the legal language matters a great deal,” he said.

Leaks suggest the bill seeks to reduce President Joe Biden’s 2024 migration crisis by redirecting yet more illegal migrants toward new legal doorways. The greater inflow helps Biden’s donors because the migrants inflate the nation’s consumer economy as they compete for Americans’ housing, wages, and aid programs.

Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), one of the three Senate negotiators, earlier admitted the need for great care in writing immigration laws. “Even the most minor change can have unintended consequences,” Sinema said in a January 29 tweet:

You’ve heard me say this before: border and immigration policy is one of the most complicated areas of American law … We can’t afford to make a mistake. The GOP negotiator,

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT ) is demanding more time and cited a month-long study period when the complex 2013 “Gang of Eight” amnesty was introduced. “Common courtesy would suggest a bare minimum of … three weeks,” Lee said on January 24:

But Schumer said a few days are enough.

‘We plan to post the full text of the national security supplemental as early as tomorrow, no later than Sunday,” he said on Thursday. “That will give members plenty of time to read the bill before voting.”

Schumer is rushing the vote to Wednesday, February 7, partly because the Senate is out of session from February 10 to February 25. The two-week off period would allow the public to organize against the Democrat-backed, wealth-shifting, more migration bill.

Immigration law is designed to resist the huge pressure of foreigners pushing at U.S. borders.

RELATED: Thousands of Migrants Processed in One U.S. Border Town in One Night

But, like with a submarine, any flaw can allow a gusher of disruptive migrants to flood into the nation’s labor markets, neighborhoods, workplaces, and cities. In 2013, for example, the Senate’s Gang of Eight initially wiped out the legal foundation for a much-touted employment verification promise.

Moreover, Senators cannot understand the impact of the new bill unless they can understand the interplay of the new bill’s language with existing laws, regulations, and judicial decisions. The GOP negotiator, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), said the bill includes a completely novel section of immigration law. Punchbowl News reported on February 1:

Newsy details from Lankford on border package: Biggest part will be the creation of a new border emergency authority called 235(b), which he described as “expedited removal, non-custodial.” This is also where the 5,000 number will be addressed.

“It will be one of the longest portions…because it’s entirely new,” Lankford adds.

Skeptics will want that section vetted by GOP immigration lawyers for possible landmines.

Any ambiguities will ensure lengthy lawsuits by rival lawyers that the U.S. Supreme Court may try to dodge.

For example, there are four current lawsuits over the legality of Biden’s decision to import more than one million migrants via the little-known “parole” side door for emergency cases. The suits say that Biden’s parole releases violate the 1996 update to the parole law that says parole must only be given on a case-by-case basis for “urgent humanitarian reasons” or “significant public benefit.”

Similarly, Congress overwhelmingly passed a 2008 bill to help foreign children who were trafficked by criminals into the United States. But the William Wilberforce Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 created the vast “Unaccompanied Alien Children” (UAC) doorway.

The doorway was quickly used by smugglers, illegal migrants, U.S. employers, labor brokers, and cartels to vastly expand the indentured child labor business in the United States.

“Cristian works a construction job instead of going to school. He is 14 … Carolina packages Cheerios at night in a factory. She is 15 … Wander starts looking for day-labor jobs before sunrise. He is 13,” said the photo captions in the New York Times 2023 articles about the Congress-enabled commercial abuse of children.

The inflow of roughly 500,000 child migrants from 2008 to 2020 has been augmented by another 480,000 children, youths, and youthful-looking adults during Biden’s term.

The millionth UAC will likely walk through the 2008 loophole this month, marking another family separation caused by the economic incentives of U.S. border rules.

Biden’s vast migrant inflow has suppressed wages, spiked housing costs, cracked public support for migration, expanded chaotic diversity, and minimized elite concerns for sidelined Americans, — all while boosting Wall Street.

Unsurprisingly, this migration-based economic policy is very unpopular — and is likely the biggest threat to Biden’s reelection campaign.

Schumer to Jam Senate with Immigration Deal Still Hidden from Public

You have to pass it to find out what’s in it.

Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) will jam the Senate next week with the long-awaited migration-expanding border plan – with tens of billions in Ukraine aid to boot –  he announced Thursday.

The public has not yet seen the details of the legislation, and will have little time to examine the extraordinary implications of the deal before their Senators vote.

Schumer said the text will be revealed by Sunday with procedural measures setting up the bill’s pathway  through the Senate beginning Monday, enabling a possible vote on final passage by the end of the week.

The rushed schedule is no surprise. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), one of three lead negotiators, has said she wants to rush the deal through the Senate before the public can react.

This week Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) ushered a resolution through the Senate Republican Conference to ensure Senators had at least two to three weeks to review any deal.

Notably, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), perhaps Washington’s most fervent admirer of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and proponent of military, humanitarian, and economic aid to Ukraine, voted against Lee’s resolution.

This is a developing story.

NYC becomes a literal den of thieves as the ‘huddled masses’ continue to swarm in and set up shop

New Yorkers, meet your newest neighbor:

Charming fellow, isn’t he?

When addressing the “migrant” crisis (third-world invaders) flooding into America from every corner of the globe, those on the left often evoke the days of a bustling Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty with the “huddled masses yearning to breathe free” words emblazoned on the pedestal, or perhaps even remind us of our Christian ancestors who landed at Plymouth Rock to escape government persecution in Europe; they assert that this country was built on “immigrants” and without immigration, the U.S. as we know it, would have never existed.

But, as with all arguments left, that’s all fallacious and inconsistent. First of all, in one context those Plymouth Rock pilgrims are celebrated as immigrants fleeing tyranny, in another they’re decried as colonizers who displaced native populations. Secondly, this country wasn’t just built on those immigrating (first to the New World, then the British Colonies, and eventually, the United States), it was built on Judeo-Christian principles by anyone who believed in them and lived by those values, which clearly, at one point, applied to a vast majority of newcomers.

But somewhere along the way that mindset died, and the migrants (illegal invaders) of today (largely) fall into one of two camps: terrorists, or freeloaders. Either way, neither group has any intention of assimilating or contributing to American society.

We’ve got guys like the man below, seemingly here at the behest of unidentified overlords for some not-so-clandestine objective?

(Pamela Geller speculated that this border-crosser may be known-terrorist Movsum Samadov, leader of the Islamic Party of Azerbaijan.)

And then we’ve got the poverty-stricken third-worlders, some of whom can’t even read or write in their native languages, just doing what they’ve always known—crime—and New York City is the perfect case study of what life looks like when you introduce hordes of state-of-nature humans to modern Western civilization. Needless to say, “cultural enrichment” in the Big Apple isn’t going so well:

NYC migrant pickpocketing teams are the newest headache for NYPD as trio busted for string of West Village bar thefts

The NYPD is honing in on migrant pickpocketing crews that are now working the Big Apple — with nearly 100 asylum seekers already popping up on the NYPD radar, law enforcement sources tell The Post.

Many new migrants are creating their own underground economy within their community — selling homemade food to other migrants or providing them services such as hair-cutting.

‘They aren’t going to a barber shop or a deli,’ Di Martino said. ‘They’re creating cash businesses and not paying taxes.’

Monica Yamaira Arias, 43, hawks roast pork, rice and fried plantains from her perch outside the Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown, which the city transformed into an intake center for recent arrivals. Arias, 43, arrived in New York more than a year ago from Venezuela, and now sits every lunch hour on a blue Igloo cooler selling home-cooked meals, packed in aluminum containers, for $10 each.

‘It’s what we’re used to eating in our country,’ said Arias….

And from today, this:

NYPD seizes illegal scooters from migrant shelters amid ‘uptick’ in moped-riding bandits in NYC

The NYPD is cracking down on unregistered scooters as robberies involving moped-riding bandits have become a frequent problem across the city over the past couple months.

Officers targeted migrant facilities throughout the five boroughs Wednesday night where they seized dozens of illegal electric bikes and took them away on a flatbed, ABC7 reported.

The confiscated bikes had no registrations or had stolen plates, according to the station.

As London’s leftist mayor Sadiq Khan once quipped, crime—whether it’s jihadi bombings, acid attacks, and Islamic stabbing sprees, or tax fraudsters, pickpockets, and Mad Max moped bandits—is simply “part and parcel” of living in a (leftist) big city.

Biden Admin’s Secret Border Deal with Mexico Delays Onslaught of Migrant Crossings — 50 Percent Drop in Jan.

Piedras Negras Mexico (Randy Clark/Breitbart Texas)

The number of migrants apprehended along the southwest border with Mexico in January fell by more than 50 percent from the record-shattering report in December. Following dropping approval ratings for President Joe Biden on the topic of immigration and border security and a meeting between the Mexican president and two Biden administration cabinet members, actions taken by the Mexican government led to a drop of more than 125,000 migrant apprehensions in January.

Border Patrol agents assigned to the nine southwest border sectors apprehended just over 124,000 migrants who illegally crossed the border in January between ports of entry. This is down by more than 50 percent from the record-shattering 249,785 migrant apprehensions in December. So far this fiscal year, which began on October 1, 2023, agents along the southwest border encountered nearly 754,000 migrants.

Breitbart Texas reached out to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials for information about the factors leading to the precipitous drop in migrant apprehensions in January. CBPs’ only response was to cite the historical trend of decreased apprehensions during January.

“Consistent with historical trends and enhanced enforcement, the first two weeks of January saw an over 50% decrease in southwest border encounters between ports of entry according to preliminary figures,” CBP stated.

The statement ignores efforts taking place in Mexico to round up migrants along its northern border and transport them to central and southern Mexico. Late in December, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Department of Homeland Security Secretary traveled to Mexico to meet with Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), Breitbart News reported.

The article states that the Mexican president hinted to the U.S. delegation that he would reduce migrant crossings into the U.S. if President Joe Biden provided more aid and support to Latin American dictators. Reports from Mexico indicate AMLO wanted increased support for Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.

In a joint communique following the December meeting, the White House said:

The two countries reaffirmed their existing commitments on fostering an orderly, humane, and regular migration. This includes reinforcing our partnership to address the root causes of migration, such as poverty, inequality, and violence, and for the two countries’ initiative for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans. Ongoing cooperation also includes enhanced efforts to disrupt human smuggling, trafficking, and criminal networks, and continuing the work to promote legal instead of irregular migration pathways. Also, both delegations agreed on the importance of maintaining and facilitating the vital bilateral trade at our shared border.

President López Obrador highlighted the commitment of President Biden to pursue regular, orderly, and secure migration. He stressed the need to continue the diplomatic and political engagement with all countries in the region, as well as investing in ambitious development programs throughout the entire hemisphere of the Americas. Both delegations underlined the efforts that the Biden administration is pursuing through development assistance and humanitarian aid, as well as advancing new private investments in the region.

Shortly after the meeting and an undisclosed agreement between Mexico and the United States, Mexican immigration and law enforcement officials began actions to round up migrants along the country’s northern border and transporting them back to Mexico, Breitbart’s Cartel Chronicles reported.

Mexican law enforcement authorities also removed migrants from trains headed from central Mexico to its northern border.

The efforts in Mexico appear to have dramatically impacted border crossings, particularly into Texas. By early February, the flow of migrants from Piedras Negras, Coahuila, to Eagle Pass, Texas, fell from thousands per day to a mere trickle, Breitbart reported from Mexico.

An official operating under the umbrella of U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Breitbart Texas that the efforts by Mexico are not a long-term fix to the problem. “The migrants are just being delayed from reaching the U.S. border,” the source stated. “The migrants are being moved further south, delaying their efforts to reach their goal of seeking asylum in the U.S.”

Breitbart Texas reached out to members of Congress and the office of House Speaker Mike Johnson for information about an agreement between Mexico and the United States to reduce migrant crossings. One congressman replied that it was not clear if the Biden administration would ever disclose an agreement of this nature. There do not appear to be any reports disclosing what the U.S. may have agreed to in return for Mexico’s increased enforcement efforts.

Migrant apprehensions in the Del Rio Sector, which includes the hotspot of Eagle Pass, fell from more than 71,000 in December to just under 17,000 in January. Likewise, encounters in the Rio Grande Valley and El Paso Sectors also experienced significant drops.

While not as drastic, migrant apprehensions in the Tucson and San Diego Sectors also fell significantly.

February apprehensions in the Tucson Sector appeared to rebound leading into February. During the more recent weekly recap by Tucson Sector Chief Patrol Agent John Modlin, migrant apprehensions for the past week jumped to 13,800 — up from 11,300 one week earlier.

Joe Biden Promises 2024 Campaign for More Migration and Amnesty

An angry President Joe Biden said he would make immigration a central issue in his 2024 campaign if Senate Republicans do not back his more-migration bill on Wednesday.

“If the bill fails, I want to be absolutely clear about something,” Biden told reporters at the White House on Tuesday.

The American people are going to know why it fails. I’ll be taking this issue to the country … Every day between now and November, the American people are going to know that the only reason the border is not secure is Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends.

“It is great news if the President wants to make immigration a key issue for the 2024 election,” responded Chris Chmielenski, president of the Immigration Accountability Project. “People know that the chaos started when Biden took over the White House,” he said.

In his Tuesday speech, Biden touted support for his migration-expanding bill from the investor-dominated U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Wall Street Journal, saying:

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce supports this bill because they know this bill is not just good for the border, it’s also good for American business and for the American economy. And it’s why the [editorial board of the] Wall Street Journal endorsed the bill. The headline this morning reads “A Border Security Bill Worth Passing.”

But Americans do not want business groups to run the nation’s immigration system, Chmielenski noted:

Americans don’t want to see more migrants coming into the country to help boost the economy if it means American workers are going to lose … They understand that our current immigration system is a detriment to our economy because we’re bringing in millions of workers that we don’t need for lower-skilled jobs … [and many] white-collar workers to take jobs that Americans are willing to take for higher wages.

“That’s what the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street are pushing for … [but] Americans [prefer migrants] that won’t directly compete with them but will complement them,” he said.

Biden also insisted he would push for amnesties in the 2024 campaign, saying “We’re not walking away from true immigration reform including permanent protections and a pathway to citizenship for young DREAMers who came here when they were children.”

McConnell: Open Borders Bill Has “No Real Chance” to Pass

C-SPAN

Biden’s 2024 challenge to Trump came after the caucus of 49 GOP Senators decided not to support the bill in a Wednesday vote, despite advocacy by GOP Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), and other Senators.

The GOP decision came despite much establishment pressure — but amid a populist pushback that GOP Senators are closely tracking.

“A vote for this border surrender bill is a vote for Biden’s open-border policies,” said William Gheen, the president of ALIPAC, a grassroots group that opposes politicians who back pro-migration policies.

Many polls show that the public wants reduced migration, especially reduced labor migration.

In 2014, the GOP gained five Senate seats after Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) helped pass the very unpopular “Gang of Eight amnesty through the Senate. The bill was blocked in the House by GOP activists.

Yet the Democrats’ 2024 bill only promises more — albeit better-organized — migration into Americans’ communities and workplaces.

Many polls also show that Biden’s easy-migration policy is a political deadweight in 2024, raising the GOP’s hope of winning a majority in the U.S. Senate.

ABC News reported on February 5:

According to a Nov. 3-4 poll from ABC News/Ipsos, American adults said they trusted Republicans to do a better job handling immigration than Democrats, 36 percent to 24 percent. That 12-point gap was tied for Republicans’ second-biggest advantage on any issue (out of 11 tested).

And acrosssevennonpartisanpollsconductedinJanuary,* President Joe Biden’s average approval rating on immigration and/or the southern border was just 29 percent, and his average disapproval rating was 63 percent. That’s significantly worse than his already-poor 39-percent-to-57-percent average approval and disapproval ratings in those same polls.

ABC added, “16 percent of independents also identified immigration as their most important problem, which was up from 6 percent in July.”

Republican candidates should recognize that 70 percent of swing-voting independents “strongly” or “somewhat” favor the deportation of illegal migrants, according to a poll by Cygnal that was released mid-January. The report advised:

Republican candidates at all levels would be wise to tap into this sentiment and contrast themselves with a sheepish bench of Democrats who have largely let the issue fester to a boiling point no locality can afford to further ignore because it’s impacting voters day-to-day lives.

Biden’s migration failure also worsens voters’ worries about the economy. The polling firm of TIPP Insights issued a report on February 4 noting:

Nearly four in ten (38%) Americans picked the economy as the country’s most important issue, followed by immigration/border security at 36 percent and crime at 19 percent as the other top concerns. Interestingly, the importance of immigration increased sharply from 29% in December to 36% in January and remained at that level in February.

A recent TIPP Poll and Bankrate survey revealed that the majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Their wages have not grown, while stubborn Bidenflation, at 17 percent, has taken a toll on their finances. Only one-third (34%) say they’re better off than four years ago.

The report is titled “America’s Immigration Anxiety Amidst A Gloomy Outlook On The Direction Of Country.”

Biden’s eagerness to challenge Trump on immigration politics likely reflects his growing dislike of Trump. On February 1, Politico reported:

The president [Biden]  has described Trump to longtime friends and close aides as a “sick fuck” who delights in others’ misfortunes, according to three people who have heard the president use the profane description. According to one of the people who has spoken with the president, Biden recently said of Trump: “What a fucking asshole the guy is.”

Extraction Migration

Since at least 1990, the federal government has relied on Extraction Migration to grow the economy after allowing investors to move the high-wage manufacturing sector to lower-wage countries.

The migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries. The additional workers, consumers, and renters push up stock values by shrinking Americans’ wages, subsidizing low-productivity companies, boosting rents, and spiking real estate prices.

The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced native-born Americans’ productivity and political clout, reduced high-tech innovation, crippled civic solidarity, and allowed government officials and progressives to ignore the rising death rate of discarded Americans.

The policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors and government agencies with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The colonialism-like policy has also killed many thousands of migrants, including many on the taxpayer-funded jungle trail through the Darien Gap in Panama.

The Big Apple (CHUCK SCHUMER'S STATE) goes debit card mad

The migrant story now has a debit card chapter.  I thought that the story was a joke when it came across the internet; it wasn’t.  It’s true, as we read in this story:

The pilot program is being rolled out at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, with 500 families involved, The New York Post reported. A family of four will get a card loaded with $1,000-a-month, equivalent to $35 a day.

Those selected will be given cards that can be only used at bodegas, supermarkets and delis. Migrants must sign an affidavit promising to only use the cards for food and baby supplies, or else have them cut off. It is unclear how the City of New York will know if they’re just being used in bodegas as intended.

The amount on each card will depend on individual circumstances. It is unclear how city officials will check if cards are being abused - and if the scheme will worsen the crisis by encouraging other migrants to head to the Big Apple in the hopes of receiving free money.

A family of four could be provided nearly $1,000 each month, which is $35 per day for food for the four.

At present, each migrant meal costs $11, so feeding a family of four for a day could cost up to $132.

Cards will get refilled every 28 days.

Every 28 days?  That’s a short month.  The people in the Mayor’s office sure are generous with our dollars.

As my friend in New York pointed out, citizens are already paying a lot of taxes, fees, tolls, etc.  It’s only a matter of time, he said with a sarcastic laugh, that they will tax you for breathing or going to the bathroom.  (Don’t give the City Council any ideas!)

Not long ago, and speaking to the financial woes of the city, the same Mayor Adams leading the debit card debacle announced billions in cuts, “prompted by $10.8 billion in migrant-related costs in this and the next fiscal year.” Yet, even with the planned budget cuts, “New York City faces budget shortfalls of $7 billion in fiscal 2025 and more than $6 billion in both 2026 and 2027.”

So who is looking out for the overtaxed New Yorkers who have to fill their own prepaid debit cards?  I guess that no one is, as far as I can tell.

Furthermore, isn’t this going to encourage more migrants to take the New York-bound bus?  I think so, and most New Yorkers understand that.

Schumer Warns U.S. Troops Will Be Sent to Fight Russians if Border Bill Is Not Passed

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) warned that U.S. troops will be sent to eastern Europe “in a few years” if the Senate border bill that gives Ukraine $60 billion in aid is not passed.

Schumer said on MSNBC on Monday:

We’re at a turning point in America is build is crucial and history will look back on it and say did America fail itself?

Why is it crucial? Well, if we don’t aid Ukraine, Putin will walk all over Ukraine, we will lose the war. And we could be fighting in eastern Europe in a NATO ally in a few years. Americans won’t like that.

Two months ago, President Joe Biden made that same argument — that U.S. troops would be fighting Russia if more aid is not passed.

“If he keeps going and then he attacks a NATO Ally — well, we’ve committed as a NATO member that we’d defend every inch of NATO territory — then we’ll have something that we don’t seek and that we don’t have today: American troops fighting Russian troops,” Biden warned.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin also made that argument to House lawmakers during a private briefing in December. House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) told them that if the aid was not passed, it would be “very likely” that U.S. troops would be sent to fight.

Schumer said if the bill — which also would give Israel $14 billion — is not passed, the Israeli-Hamas war “will go on and on and on.” He argued that if the U.S. did not give humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, “hundreds of thousands” could starve.

He also admitted that the border is “chaos,” despite the bill only containing $20 billion for the border — about a third of the amount that would go to Ukraine.

“So this is crucial for America. It’s a turning point. History is going to look over our shoulders and say, ‘Did we rise to the occasion?'” Schumer continued.

Schumer praised Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and tried to blame former President Donald Trump for the growing Republican opposition in the House and Senate to the bill.

He also threatened that everything will get “worse” if the bill is not passed.

“To his credit Mitch McConnell did, but too many Republicans, including Speaker [Mike] Johnson are just scared to death of Donald Trump. Donald Trump has said he wants chaos. Donald Trump has said well wait till I become president that will take at least a year. Ukraine could be gone. The border will get much worse. War in the Middle East will get worse,  maybe bringing us into it,” he argued.

The Democrats Create an Alice in the Looking Glass World

Like Alice dropped into an illogical world, I’m looking at the past week and seeing a chaotic, topsy-turvy, irrational series of policies, events, and outcomes. There are many possible examples to choose from. I’ve chosen four: The open border, the inexplicable disparities in the handling of crimes by Democrat district attorneys, the Administration’s song and dance with Iran and UNRWA, and China, and there’s a degree of overlap in some of these.

North of the Border

Millions of people -- mostly military-age men -- from almost every country on the globe are being processed by the Borden Patrol and released with orders to show up for hearings, many not set for several years distant, during which time the Democrats will certainly seek an electoral advantage. Since districting for voting and disbursement of federal funds is based on the number of residents, regardless of their legal status, districts with lots of illegals will get a weighted advantage. Most of the asylum applications are groundless, but most likely, the Democrats will seek amnesty for these millions. President Trump had begun wall construction and set in place policies to stop this. Within 100 days of taking office, Biden took 94 executive actions which smoothed the way for the massive influx of illegal immigrants. Legalizing them will effectively create a one-party state. Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who is now facing impeachment proceedings, worked to make deportation of these people nearly impossible. Elon Musk on X:

“Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas issued written guidance making it clear that: 1. Illegal presence alone is not grounds for deportation. 2. Criminal charges, convictions or gang membership alone are not enough for deportation. You basically have to be a convicted axe murderer to be deported!“

The Supreme Court has made it nearly impossible for states to act when the federal government will not stem the invasion. Jonathan Turley:

[T] his crisis is the result of decades of court rulings expanding executive powers while limiting the ability to challenge those policies. The court’s decisions narrowing standing have been deleterious, limiting those who can challenge unlawful or unconstitutional acts by the federal government.

States such as Texas are absolutely correct that this is a breach of the original understanding with the federal government. The combination of the sweeping preemption by the courts and diminishing enforcement by the agencies has left states as mere observers to their own destruction. It is like watching your house burn down as the fire department works primarily to prevent anyone else from putting it out.

The Biden fire department is claiming that, just as it has the authority to put out fires, it has the authority to let them burn .

Irrational Democrat Law Enforcement

A pack of illegal migrants attacked New York City policemen. Videos captured the assault, and several of the men were arrested. District Attorney Alvin Bragg arranged for them to be released on bail, and they were photographed laughing and flipping off photographers.  Then, using  false names, they persuaded a sympathetic-to-illegals charity to give them bus transportation to California, where they will receive “free health  care, housing, food subsidies, scholarships for illegal aliens in Gavin Newsom’s $ 68-billion-in-the-red state.”  Confronted by a reporter concerning the no-bail policy for illegal criminals, New York's Governor Kathy Hochul suggested they be deported, contrary to sanctuary cities in both states.

Questioned why he chose to arrest and demand $100,000 bail for Daniel Perry, who saved a subway car full of passengers from a violent man threatening them, while at the same time seeking no bail for illegals who beat up cops, Bragg said he lacked evidence to hold them, this despite all the passengers who supported Penny and thanked him, and the assault of law enforcement officers being on videotape. The message is this -- in Bragg’s NYC jurisdiction, we’re going to allow people to brutally attack you with little consequence, and you dare not defend against that.

A congressional aide engaged in anal intercourse in a Capitol hearing room, videotaped it, and made it public. The U.S. Capitol Police declined to charge him, though imprisoned Jacob Chansley and most of the other January 6 defendants engaged in no misuse of government property when they walked through rope lines in the Capitol and engaged in friendly exchanges with the Capitol Police while there. Instead of prosecuting felonies in the District of Columbia, the U.S. attorney for D.C. is still directing massive amounts of manpower to track down January 6 trespassers who reside around the country to prosecute them.

The District of Columbia is the site now of a really horrendous crime wave, including many brutal carjackings. The D.C. attorney general Brian Schwalb claims we can’t stop this by arresting the young men engaged in these crimes.

Fani Willis, who seeks to convict Donald Trump under some notion of RICO, now admits that she has a “personal relationship” with the man she hired to prosecute the case, a man with no experience in such prosecutions. Her paramour’s friends bankrolled her campaign and, in return, received lucrative contracts, and she is charged with having misused federal funds.

Iran and UNRWA

Either Biden is stupid or he thinks we are. After repeated aggression by Iranian proxies, including the killing of three U.S. servicemen and women, the Administration said it was going to take countermeasures. It announced six days before acting where it was targeting and unsurprisingly, by the time it did so, the targets certainly had moved to safety. This is in line with its policies of giving Iran a free pass.

While Robert Malley was placed under FBI investigation and was removed from office as Biden’s Iran envoy, the administration has not deviated from the never-disclosed policy he set in 2016 while he was with the non-governmental agency, the International Crisis Group -- a Memorandum of Understanding with the Iranian Foreign Ministry. Biden will not enforce sanctions against Iran, has instituted no arms embargo against Iranian drone purchases, and has not interfered while Iran builds up its nuclear arsenal. Those drones Iran purchased are apparently the very ones the Iranian proxy Houthis are firing at vessels in the Red Sea. We keep announcing that we are shooting down those drones, but it’s a costly “victory.” The drones are worth about $50 thousand each, and the cost of destroying them before they damage our ships is in the millions. Certainly, reason suggests it’s time to destroy the drone launch pads and launchers and abandon Malley’s plan.

As to UNRWA, in the face of its proven collaboration with Hamas and participation in the attacks on Israel, a significant number of countries and the European Union have announced suspension of further contributions to the organization. Biden did as well. But -- hold on a minute -- we only suspended $300,000 of our contributions. So far this year, we have contributed $121 million dollars to UNRWA, doubtless a good deal of it after October 7. Remember, Trump suspended contributions to UNRWA, and Biden reinstated them.

The Great Afghan Folly

Regarding our disastrous fast-footing out of Afghanistan, leaving a fortune in military equipment behind, a new Department of Defense IG report indicates that, in 2022 and 2023, we spent a total of $5.1 billion in fiscal years 2022 and 2023 to house, feed, transport, and resettle Afghan evacuees, and here’s the kicker: the beneficiary of all our labors, lost troops, and fortune expended in Afghanistan will be – guess who -- China.

“The Taliban has asked to join China’s Belt & Road initiative and has already signed contracts with China allowing the Communist regime to drill for oil and gas in Afghanistan and to mine lithium and copper in the mineral-rich country” per a Pentagon IG report.“

I wish, like Alice, we could all realize this was some kind of weird dream, but I know it isn’t.

Open Borders are Biden’s Pandora’s Box

A nation’s border lies at the intersection of domestic and foreign policy. How a country manages its border, immigration, trade, and related policies informs foreign and domestic stakeholders about governance of the country. It’s a reflection of those that govern and those that elect them.

President Biden opened the border the minute he took office. This decision is a detriment to the American people. Biden’s immigration policy is a chaotic, costly, and confusing mess. He chose to allow human trafficking, criminal import of drugs and prostitution, and the entry of terrorists and Chinese citizens who are positioned to wreak havoc within the country. Joe Biden is blithely undermining the security and interests of the people he swore to protect.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas proclaimed in a congressional hearing that the border is secure. In testimony to the Homeland Security Committee, FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed the security of the country is in jeopardy saying, “the threats that come from the other side of the border are affecting every state.” To fix the problem, President Biden requires empowerment, saying, “I’ve done all I can do. Just give me the power.” The position of the federal government is as clear as Rio Grande mud.

Biden realizes his re-election is jeopardized by his immigration policy. He desperately wants Congress to pass a new law hoping it will provide political cover for his bizarre open border policy. If the law is passed Biden will tell the American people that Congress finally listened to his wise council and passed a wonderful new law empowering him to do his job. If Congress doesn’t pass an immigration law, Biden will blame Republicans for the invasion of immigrants and accuse them of playing politics forcing him to leave the border open.

The Mexican border is difficult to police, but President Trump did a good job of securing it. The same laws that render Biden powerless were in place for Trump. Biden and Democrat politicians are frantically looking for a message they can deliver that will absolve them of their inane border policy. Republicans should take a step back and watch Democrats attempt to put the lid back on the can of worms they opened.

Biden proposed a new immigration law when he took office. It includes:

  • A roadmap to citizenship for undocumented individuals
  • Immigrant and refugee integration and citizenship
  • Protect workers from exploitation and improve the employment verification process.
  • Embracing diversity

Biden proposes an open border with a shortcut to citizenship.

Senator James Lankford has the unenviable position of negotiating an immigration law with Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. Democrats want to put the country on a yellow brick road to a new demographic they’ve schemed to achieve for a generation. Lankford said in an interview, “We all have an oath to the Constitution, and we have a commitment to say we're going to do whatever we can to be able to secure the border." Senator Lankford and Congress have no obligation to pass a new law. BidenMayorkas, and Lankford all took an oath to “defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic.” The United States has an immigration law that Biden refuses to enforce. Biden has failed to uphold his oath of office.

Governor Greg Abbott of Texas is doing his best to protect his state’s border with Mexico. In January of 2023, he had a letter hand delivered to President Biden saying, “you have violated your constitutional obligation to defend the states against invasion through faithful execution of federal laws.” Last month Governor Abbott sent another letter to the President saying, “James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and the other visionaries who wrote the U.S. Constitution foresaw that States should not be left to the mercy of a lawless president who does nothing to stop external threats like cartels smuggling millions of illegal immigrants across the border.” Governor Abbott has established that an invasion is underway and Biden has done nothing to stop it. Biden has had three years to do his job. He has failed.

Abbott is now taking steps for the State of Texas to do the President’s job. “I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.” The Supreme Court has not ruled in favor of the Biden Administration or ordered Texas to remove material used to fortify its border. The Supreme Court merely vacated an appeal, sending the decision back to a lower court. Abbott’s actions will gather momentum, likely forcing the Supreme Court to decide the matter. Texas may lose in court, but its case is clear.

Twenty-five states stand with Texas. New Mexico, Arizona, and California, which also have a border with Mexico, do not. Biden’s open border is an affront to all states no matter their proximity to the border. All Americans are damaged by the invasion identified by Governor Abbott. Democrat politicians whine while requesting money, but their states and cities remain open sanctuaries to illegal entrants.

It wouldn’t be prudent for Republicans to support a Biden-Schumer immigration law. If Biden must have a new law, the House of Representatives has passed a bill which will secure the border. The Senate can approve this bill so that Biden can sign it into law. The law could be renamed The More Power to Joe Biden Act. A better solution is to let the American people decide the issue. The elections this year should be a referendum on border security. The cost of open borders to Americans is a half-trillion dollars and will only grow if Biden and Democrats remain in office. If Americans want their tax dollars spent on wasted resources and open border chaos, they should vote for Democrats. You get what you pay for.

In July 2023, in an appearance before the House Judiciary Committee, when pressed about the results of the newly expanded CBP One program in stemming the flow of illegal migration, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said, “Our approach to managing the borders securely and humanely — even within our fundamentally broken immigration system — is working.”

But working for whom?

The open border most certainly is working out well for certain special interests: employers who want to hire the migrants at lower wages, government contractors cashing in on contracts to shelter and transport the migrants, and governments in the sending countries that depend on the millions of dollars in remittances. Most of all, it is working for the drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations who now control the border.

Illegal immigration now far exceeds legal immigration. As a result, the cartels are reaping unprecedented profits from human and drug smuggling and trafficking, to the tune of $30 million a day, or nearly $1 billion a month, according to a House Budget Committee report. They use the funds to acquire more sophisticated weapons and technology to solidify control over their territories in Mexico and beyond. More worrisome for the long term, however, is the way the cartels are using this cash cow to underwrite an expansion of their operations within the United States. This expansion presents profound implications for public safety in communities across the nation that will persist for years into the future, and will require a much more a concerted effort and inventive new strategies.

According to Border Patrol testimony to Congress, the smuggling fee is currently about $8,000 for passage to America. Many migrants make only a down payment up front of about $500, and agree to work off the rest when they get to their destination. If they have children, they are encouraged to accept a reduced fee for loaning one of their kids to another single migrant (in order to pose as a family for near-certain release) and retrieve them on the other side (hopefully). The remainder is typically paid through debt bondage accomplished by wage garnishment, fees for housing and food, and other forms of exploitation and outright threats and extortion. Long-haul migrants from other continents pay more, sometimes up to $50,000, and those who don’t want to get caught also pay more. Our government helps subsidize this enterprise by paying a network of NGOs huge sums of taxpayer funds to arrange transportation, shelter, and other services on the final leg of the migrant’s journey to their destination.

The migrant-moving business is lucrative enough, but it also helps further another critical illicit cartel activity — drug smuggling. The cartels routinely send large groups of migrants over the border in certain areas to bog down the Border Patrol while they move drug loads through the other unguarded areas, along with high-value clients, such as criminals and watch-listed individuals, who don’t want to be caught by the Border Patrol.

In the last three years, the amount of illicit drugs flowing into American communities has exploded, with deadly, tragic consequences, and the cartels are behind nearly all of it, according to a recent exhaustive report by the House Homeland Security Committee. It’s happening not just in southwest border states, not just in cities, but also in rural areas, including Montana, Kansas, Kentucky, and many others.

With the profits from cross-border trafficking so enormous, the stakes for control of the plazas, or spheres of control along the border, have risen as well, increasing instances of deadly violence. For example, one night in mid-December, a shoot-out broke out among rival cartels for control of several areas along the Arizona border with large gaps in the border fencing giving easy access. Responding to the melee, Border Patrol agents arrested one man on a private ranch on the U.S. side who was carrying an AK-47, two AK magazines, a handgun, and ammunition. Mexican authorities found 10 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on the other side of the line.

Obviously, the cartels are not humanitarian actors seeking only to help asylum seekers; nor are they young, impetuous gang-bangers. They behave like terrorists, and they have a plan, which they hire well-trained and well-armed violent thugs to carry out. Given the porous border, moving their operatives into this country to manage the business has not been difficult lately.

For years, many American observers, including some in law enforcement, have been in denial of the threat that the drug cartels pose to America, insisting that the narco-bosses were too afraid of U.S. law enforcement agencies to try to replicate their violent tactics here. That theory has always been naïve, and is now thoroughly discredited. Among the acts of violence attributed to the cartels was an incident in January 2023 described by authorities as an “early morning massacre”, where six people, including a recently bailed-out Surenos gang member, but also a baby and his teenage mother, were executed in a quiet residential street in Goshen, Calif., Reportedly, the surviving family members afterwards refused all offers of help from local authorities

In 2022, federal authorities alone made more than 300 arrests for Mexican cartel-related crimes, according to one analysis.

The cartels are sophisticated business people, and nimble at adapting to emerging opportunities. The have evolved horizontally to branch out into new ventures, for example human trafficking as well as drug trafficking, in fentanyl trafficking as well as heroin and marijuana trafficking, and stealing oil as well as automobiles. Noticing the trend in some jurisdictions away from imposing stiff consequences for shoplifting and burglary, some cartels have branched out into the $70 billion organized retail theft industry, creating squads of operatives to steal goods on a major scale, even roping in recent illegal migrants as a way to pay off their smuggling debt, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement investigators.

The Sinaloa Cartel and Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG) in particular have lost no time capitalizing on the state legalization of marijuana, opening tens of thousands of illegal weed, or “blood cannabis”, grows in northern California, Oregon, and other states, where they undercut lawful growers and use trafficked labor, managed violently. Local sheriffs lament that they are woefully out-manned and out-gunned, and can’t keep up with the body count. "We're a very short amount of time away from having heads in the square like they do down in Mexico," said Mendocino County Sheriff Matt Kendall in December 2021.

Expanded cartel operations in the United States is good for their local criminal partners, too, who help distribute and sell the illicit products. The cartels have relationships with different partners in different locales, working everyone from MS-13, to the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, and Aryan Brotherhood. In eastern Massachusetts, for example, they work mostly with distributors from the Dominican Republic, who dominate the local drug trade. In December, a 42-year old Dominican woman living in Massachusetts was sentenced to 11 years in prison for receiving huge amounts of fentanyl and laundered cash for the Sinaloa Cartel. She hid some of the product in her young daughter’s bedroom closet. The Dominican drug traffickers in particular are known to use the stolen identities of U.S. citizens from Puerto Rico to conceal their illegal presence from authorities and fraudulently obtain driver’s licenses and welfare benefits.

Not all of the cartels operating here are from Latin America. According to a federal law enforcement memo leaked to the Daily Caller, Chinese transnational crime groups have established about 750 illegal marijuana grow operations in rural areas in the states of Maine and Washington, often in collaboration with Mexican cartels.

Chinese foreign nationals purchased and operated the grow houses with financing obtained from a handful of mortgage companies. According to Derek Maltz, a retired DEA agent, the Chinese groups “take the cash from the [Mexican] cartels in America, and they buy these properties and they do these investments with cash from the Mexican cartels in our own country. This is part of their laundering scheme.”

Reporters from the Maine Wire tracked down more than 100 of the unlicensed operations, located in unassuming houses with boarded-up windows and outfitted with commercial grade electrical systems, and a few low-profile workers lurking around, all very conspicuous to the neighbors. One such operation was located across the street from a daycare, where the children and workers, along with the other neighbors, were regularly subjected to the unmistakable fumes polluting the air. Federal authorities believe that the operations generate profits of more than $4.37 billion per year, much of which likely goes back to China.

This business model requires creating a “safe” environment in which to operate. The cartels often create their safe space through violence, extortion, and even corruption of public officials. These civil society threats come on top of the other significant costs to taxpayers, including the cost of expanded services to the migrants and lost job opportunities and depressed wages for legal U.S. workers. In Texas, large swaths of two counties have been literally taken over with what may be the largest settlement of illegal migrants in the country, in Liberty County, a two-hour drive east of Austin, the state capital. The Gulf and Sinaloa cartels originally established enclaves in this area for stash houses for smuggled drugs and aliens. Now, with the help of unscrupulous real estate developers, political patrons, and the open-border policies, this area is a massive and nearly unpolice-able haven for the cartels, their employees, and their trafficked clients that has driven out most long-time American residents and spawned crime and violence on a third-world scale.

Biden’s disastrous border and immigration policies that have enriched the cartels and brought their havoc into the United States will require lawmakers to make bold and substantial changes to our laws and give new authorities and tools to the law enforcement agencies that will have to confront and dismantle them.

Obviously, the best defense against the foreign cartel threat is a secure border, and lawmakers must start there, although it will take more than tweaks to the asylum system to shut down the cash cow of migrant smuggling. Tough new enforcement measures such as those in H.R. 2, the House border security bill are essential to this effort.

In addition, Congress should create a new type of “designation” for the cartels similar to the approach to international terrorist groups, which would enable authorities to target the financial assets of the cartels, to utilize other government resources, including the military and intelligence agencies, and to bar or deport foreign citizen operatives from our country.

Federal and state governments should act against the infrastructure that supports cartel-sponsored illegal immigration and trafficking, especially the money transmission networks. A grand jury investigation in Florida recently outlined how the vast flow of remittances of money from the United States to foreign countries includes within it a flow of money to the cartels. A significant share of this outflow of funds is not a transfer of funds from migrants to their families in their home countries, or even payments directly from the migrants to their smugglers, but actually huge sums of money that are being laundered by the cartels and disguised as remittances.

To help disrupt this flow of money, state governments should consider enacting “know your customer” laws that require money transmitters to collect secure identification from anyone sending funds abroad, in addition to levying a tax or fee on the funds that are sent.

Since so many of the cartel operatives are not U.S. citizens, immigration laws can effectively be used against them, as long as immigration officers and special agents are not limited to pursuing convicted criminal alien felons, as has been the case under Biden. ICE should be empowered to launch a new program focusing exclusively on using immigration and customs authorities to attack the cartels, their businesses, and their revenue, much as it did to address the MS-13 problem nearly 20 years ago. In addition, worksite enforcement must be expanded to uncover the widespread debt bondage, forced labor, and exploitation that was enabled by the recent laissez-faire policies.

Finally, critical to the success of the cartel eradication program will be a concerted effort to rebuild the necessary partnerships between federal, state, and local agencies that have been eroded by the sanctuary city movement and the recent neglect of routine public safety-oriented immigration enforcement. Restoring the popular 287(g) delegation of authority programs — specifically, the investigative versions — in locations that have cartel activity and launching task forces to unite jurisdictions to counter this threat will help.

Hell Must Be Empty

By J.B. Shurk

In New York City, the bad guys have long understood an unwritten rule: you don’t hit a cop.  In the past, doing so put you at the top of the NYPD’s to-do list and ensured that you would not be free on the streets for long.  When 30,000 officers are tasked with securing a metropolis of nine million residents, the impenetrability of the “thin blue line” is a matter of life and death.  When video emerged of a group of illegal aliens wrestling two cops to the ground near Times Square and beating them with fists and feet, that thin blue line got thinner.  When news broke that the offenders were released without bail and that a left-wing “charity” had likely given them a free ride to California, the blue line all but disappeared.

By looking the other way as criminal invaders attack the people charged with protecting the city, NYC mayor Eric Adams and district attorney Alvin Bragg not only betray their duties to those who risk their lives every day for others’ safety, but also prove their complicity with those who wage war against citizens of the United States.  Before he disappeared without a care in the world, one of the foreign nationals apprehended for the attack left Manhattan Criminal Court with two middle fingers extended into the air and a broad smile across his face.  It was an “F you” to all Americans from a man who should never have been allowed to illegally enter the United States in the first place.  At the same time, it sure felt as if Adams, Bragg, Biden, Mayorkas, and all the other open-borders advocates and politicians were really the ones flipping off desperate American citizens whose decades-long pleas for secure borders have been entirely ignored.

Ever since Obama’s presidency, Democrats have demonized police officers and lionized criminals.  They lied about “hands up, don’t shoot”; maligned cops as Klan members with badges; and instigated race riots throughout the country.  They excused criminal behavior, cut bail requirements, reduced felonies to misdemeanors, and celebrated unethical prosecutors who have used their powers to lock up police officers for spurious charges while treating violent crime as some kind of race-based civil right.

Barack Obama and Eric Holder (the corrupt attorney general who regularly abused the law to protect friends and target political enemies) set the country down a dangerous path, where criminal gangs are psychologically empowered to target law enforcement officers for assassination and municipal politicians are so desperate to prove their soft-on-crime bona fides that they release violent criminals from jail in order to make room for unjustly indicted cops.  The end result has been that police officers are retiring in droves and refraining from any proactive policing that might put them in the crosshairs of one of George Soros’s cop-hating district attorneys.  Just as the “woke” U.S. military is struggling to recruit warriors willing to take commands from deranged men in skirts who would rather fight “climate change” and “white supremacy,” municipal police forces are struggling to refill their ranks with good cops willing to protect and serve their communities, when two-bit, backstabbing politicians endanger their lives and threaten to send them to prison.

Democrats’ attacks on police officers and coddling of criminals are part and parcel of their larger war against the American people.  In this day and age — when the Marxist destroyers have risen to the heights of institutional and financial power — they barely disguise their hatred for the United States or their contempt for regular Americans.  Every insane policy initiative — such as the choice to provide illegal aliens with thousands of dollars of free stuff each month and a get-out-of-jail-free card for sucker-punching cops — can be understood if seen through the lens of a simple question: does the policy damage American society?  If so, then Democrat politicians, Uniparty co-conspirators in the swamp, and the Marxist globalists who seek money and power from America’s demise are all on board.  It’s why the Department of Homeland (in)Security specializes in aiding and abetting terrorism-linked cartels, human-traffickers, and drug-smugglers in their criminal enterprises across our borders.  It’s why corrupt D.C. politicians send working Americans’ tax dollars to un-American international institutions such as the United Nations that use those dollars to fund the manufactured migration of tens of millions of foreigners from all over the world into the United States.  In effect, the federal government steals from the incomes of struggling Americans so that it can pay for violent criminals (and foreign soldiers and murderous terrorists) to break our laws, victimize American communities, and gang-stomp police officers.  The sick SOBs actually make Americans pay for the foreign invasion from which they suffer.

Forget “two-tiered justice.”  This is just plain old evil disguised as politics.  Only in a nation under attack from demonic forces would J6 political hostages be imprisoned for exercising their First Amendment rights at the U.S. Capitol when a congressional staffer can make gay porn videos in a Senate hearing room without any risk of ever being charged for a crime.  Only in a nation suffering from the widespread proliferation of evil would the Department of (in)Justice seek decades-long prison sentences for peacefully protesting Americans who dare to speak out against abortion, while federal agents routinely look the other way as “unknown assailants” vandalize and firebomb the buildings of Christian churches, pro-life organizations, and politically conservative groups.  Only in a nation whose government chooses to embrace evil and reject godliness could a Christian veteran be charged for the “hate crime” of destroying a demonic shrine celebrating Satan.  When adherence to moral conscience is criminalized and the protection of flagrant sin becomes government’s chief concern, there can be no doubt that evil has risen from the shadows and seized control of the State.  When Christians are punished for their convictions and Satan has more friends in political office, it is clear that America’s institutions are rotting from the inside.

Once that decay begins, it is difficult to save the host without first severing the cancer from the body.  It is why government-engineered injustices now occur with almost daily regularity.  Consider a few of the startling news stories of just the last few weeks.  A group of international scientists is calling for a global moratorium on COVID “vaccines” because a peer-reviewed study concludes, “For every life saved, there were nearly 14 times more deaths caused by the modified mRNA injections.”  Meanwhile, there is now documentary evidence that the CDC intentionally covered up risks from the experimental, yet largely mandated, treatments — particularly the risk of myocarditis.  Switching to the growing evidence of 2020 election fraud, unearthed documents confirm that the FBI and Michigan authorities were notified of “alarming” witness accounts attesting to “ballot fraud in Detroit.”  How was that situation resolved?  The FBI buried its head in the sand, and Michigan’s Attorney General Dana Nessel charged sixteen Republican alternate electors with felony fraud crimes.  Not wanting Michigan’s rampant election-rigging and political persecution to get all the glory, PBS (the Marxist news organization that Americans are forced to support with taxes) confirmed that Congress’s partisan January 6 Committee was never anything more than shameless political theater meant to tilt the 2022 midterms toward the Democrat party.  Finally, in international news, even though the Biden administration has been forced to temper its support for a U.N. agency implicated in the October 7 attack on Israel, nobody is surprised that the U.N.’s terrorists have still been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.

Lies beget evil, and evil begets more lies.  One thing is certain: Hell must be empty, because all the devils are ruling right here.

The office thing might have been improper, but at this point, who cares? More at issue is the extraordinary run Holder just completed as one of history’s great double agents. For six years, while brilliantly disguised as the attorney general of the United States, he was actually working deep undercover, DiCaprio in The Departed-styleas the best defense lawyer Wall Street ever had.

ERIC HOLDER HAS long insisted that he tried really hard when he was attorney general to make criminal cases against big banks in the wake of the 2007 financial crisis. His excuse, which he made again just last month, was that Justice Department prosecutors didn’t have enough evidence to bring charges.

Many critics have long suspected that was bullshit, and that Holder, for a combination of political, self-serving, and craven reasons, held his department back.

A new, thoroughly-documented report from the House Financial Services Committee supports that theory. It recounts how career prosecutors in 2012 wanted to criminally charge the global bank HSBC for facilitating money laundering for Mexican drug lords and terrorist groups. But Holder said no.

"This is country belongs to Mexico" is said by the Mexican Militant. This is a common teaching that the U.S. is really AZTLAN, belonging to Mexicans, which is taught to Mexican kids in Arizona and California through a LA Raza educational program funded by American Tax Payers via President Obama, when he gave LA RAZA $800,000.00 in March of 2009!

The “zero tolerance” program was dismantled by Attorney General Erc Holder once it had successfully cut the transit of migrants by roughly 95 percent. Initially, officials made 140,000 arrests per year in the mid-2000s, but the northward flow dropped so much that officials only had to make 6,000 arrests in 2013, according to a 2014 letter by two pro-migration Senators, Sen. Jeff Flake and John McCain.

The cost of the Dream Act is far bigger than the Democrats or their media allies admit. Instead of covering 690,000 younger illegals now enrolled in former President Barack Obama’s 2012 “DACA” amnesty, the Dream Act would legalize at least 3.3 million illegals, according to a pro-immigration group, the Migration Policy Institute.”

Additionally, the Justice Department under Holder, and now Loretta Lynch, has one of the worst records before the U.S. Supreme Court, losing significantly more cases than either of the Bush or Clinton Departments of Justice. “In most administrations, the department wins about 70 percent of the cases before the Supreme Court; Mr. Holder’s department has a losing record and has lost at least nine cases 9-0–even with Obama appointees Elena Kagen and Sonia Sotomayor on the court,” wrote Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, in a review of “Obama’s Enforcer: Eric Holder’s Justice Department.”

Judicial Watch announced today that it filed a records request with the California Legislature Joint Rules Committee seeking to examine legislative records regarding the state’s employment of former Obama U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder Jr.  The record request includes:

With Biden, one set of laws for them, another set for us

By Jack Hellner

Twenty-one students at three universities were charged with participation in a massive drug ring.

Total proceeds were $1.5 million over a few years. No, they shouldn't have done it. But the penalties for them are draconian: They are in huge lifetime trouble with the law. Their lives will be destroyed, and several will probably go to prison.

Twenty-one people have been charged with dealing drugs on and around college campuses after federal officials uncovered a massive drug ring involving students at three North Carolina universities, authorities announced Thursday.

Martin said that over several years the suspects allegedly moved more than a thousand of pounds of marijuana and hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and other drugs through their supply chain. The drug proceeds exceeded $1.5 million, according to the DEA.

Contrast the students’ treatment with terrorists being let off scot-free by the Obama administration Justice department after Obama dictatorially instructed bureaucrats to drop the years-long investigation into a billion-dollar-a -year drug ring, all to appease Iran.

You see, terrorists are special when Obama/Biden and John Kerry want to appease dictators who pledge death to America as they work on their legacy.

Where were the whistleblowers at the Justice department in 2008, calling out this pure abuse of power by Obama? Where were the congressional hearings and articles of impeachment?

From Politico in 2017:

In its determination to secure a nuclear deal with Iran, the Obama administration derailed an ambitious law enforcement campaign targeting drug trafficking by the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, even as it was funneling cocaine into the United States, according to a POLITICO investigation.

The campaign, dubbed Project Cassandra, was launched in 2008 after the Drug Enforcement Administration amassed evidence that Hezbollah had transformed itself from a Middle East-focused military and political organization into an international crime syndicate that some investigators believed was collecting $1 billion a year from drug and weapons trafficking, money laundering and other criminal activities.

The media and other Democrats claim they care about all deaths from drugs, so why don’t they care about all the deaths from terrorism and drug overdoses because of Obama’s actions?

The Justice department, the media, and the politicians of both parties go after pharmaceutical companies for their contribution to the drug crisis, so why didn’t they go after Obama -- and China, the terrorists and Iran, for their major contribution to the problem?

This is what is going on now in San Francisco

According to the Associated Press, 621 people have died in San Francisco of drug overdoses thus far this year, a staggering number that equates to nearly two deaths per day.

On the other hand, just 173 San Fransisco residents have died of COVID-19.

It is an absolute joke to watch Biden and the media claim that the new administration will not interfere at the Justice department when they know how the Obama/Biden administration completely politicized the Justice department throughout their eight years.

When they say that no one is above the law and there will be equal treatment under the law, they are plainly lying.

They not only let terrorists off scot free, IRS bureaucrats who targeted Obama opponents, obstructed justice, destroyed computers and lied to Congress were also above the law.

Hillary Clinton, her aides, and officials throughout government, including Obama, could violate the nation's security laws, could destroy computers, hide documents, and repeatedly lie and they were above the law.

The Justice department could shake down corporations, establish a slush fund, and give kickbacks to political supporters such as ACORN or whatever they call themselves now, and few cared.

Eric Holder, James Clapper, James Comey, John Brennan, Andrew McCabe and others could repeatedly lie to Congress and/or the FBI and they were all above the law.

Bureaucrats could use a fake dossier from a foreign source, paid for by the DNC and Hillary campaign, and lie to the FISA court as they targeted Trump and his supporters, and they, too, were above the law.

Bureaucrats within the Obama/Biden Administration illegally spied on thousands of Americans throughout their eight years in office and they were all above the law. Remember this?

Newly declassified memos detail extent of improper Obama-era NSA spying

The Obama/Biden Justice department refused to enforce immigration laws. Politicians and bureaucrats in sanctuary cities and states were above the law.

The Clinton and Biden families were allowed to use their powerful government positions to solicit massive kickbacks for themselves and their families from foreign sources, and they were and are above the law.

Democrats not only didn’t care about the kickbacks, they impeached Trump for wanting an investigation into the Biden corruption.

While members of the Obama/Biden crime syndicate could violate as many laws as they liked, they were also targeting innocent people like Gen. Michael Flynn and energy expert Carter Page for destruction.

It is no wonder there is so much corruption and criminal activity among politicians and bureaucrats thrives throughout the United States when the press is coopted, asleep, or just don’t care. They frequently bury the stories and actively campaign for the corrupt criminals. It is sad that they support putting corrupt criminals in the White House. They support anyone who seeks to make the government run by leftists more powerful.

Meanwhile, they will seek to destroy anyone who wants to give the power, purse, and freedom back to the people as fast as possible. They don’t care about how many fake stories, such as  Russian collusion, they have to peddle in their efforts to defeat political opponents. Evidence and the truth are not important. Anonymous sources are treated as evidence. Only victory for leftists matters and that truly makes the media an existential threat to our survival as a great country.

“Judicial Watch’s records request is designed to expose how California state legislators are wasting tax dollars to take care of another corrupt politician – Eric Holder – under the guise of resisting the rule of law on immigration and other matters,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.  “His record at the Clinton and Obama Justice Departments demonstrates a willingness to bend the law in order to protect his political patrons.

The crisis at our border was not only entirely predictable, it was predicted. While there are a number of beneficiaries of these policies, including employers seeking cheap, exploitable workers; NGOs who are awarded huge contracts to provide services to migrants; and politicians who welcome the addition of non-citizen constituents to their districts, to name a few, the biggest winners under the Biden-Mayorkas policies are the criminal cartels and other transnational criminal organizations who are reaping profits on a nearly unimaginable scale.

Are Biden administration officials deliberately engaged in alien smuggling and are they subject to criminal prosecution?

Senate border deal mostly about preserving Joe Biden's 'new normal'

After weeks of secretive bipartisan negotiations, the Senate border deal proposal is out and, well, it's got a lot of compromise.

According to Politico:

Senators in both parties have finalized a deal on stricter border and immigration policies that is headed toward an uncertain floor vote in the coming days.

The $118 billion agreement, which was released Sunday afternoon and negotiated for months, would tighten the standard for migrants to receive asylum, automatically shut down the southern border to illegal crossings if migrant encounters hit certain daily benchmarks and send billions of dollars to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan as well as the border.

Actually, it's only stricter in some areas, and only contingent on having personnel willing to follow the law as written her than use their activist 'discretion' to wave every applicant through. Even Joe Biden can waive the whole thing for whatever he deems 'an emergency.'

Bill Melugin at Fox News has some preliminary dissections of what the bill contains:

The problem with quotas based on moving averages and all that is that it still violates the law, given that only Congress is authorized by the Constitution to set immigration quotas. The law itself will set new quotas, but only based on Joe Biden's "new normal" in open borders admissions. As Melugin observes, they already are getting about 5,000 illegal crossings a day so all this new 4,999 law would do is normalize that number rather than presumably letting it get bigger, which it will do.

One can only imagine the cartels of Mexico reading this new quota system and either divvying up the numbers and proceeds they make from illegal crossings, or more likely, battling it out amongst each other for their share of the 4,999 quota. And once again, that's if the BIden administration actually follows those quotas. No mention of what happens if he doesn't nor how they count 'gotaways,' particularly since, as far as I can tell, there are no measures to repair and strengthen the border wall.

They call it catch and deport rather than catch and release, but some groups will escape from that designation anyway -- unaccompanied minors, meaning, gang-aged youth, and "families" whether DNA-tested or not. There should be plenty of fraud on both fronts, given the impossibility of verifying whether such illegal crossers really are underaged youth or family units. Nobody, of course, will have papers, and the gang-aged "youth," trafficked kids, and toddlers flung over the wall will get free government-paid asylum lawyers to ensure they can stay here in the states instead of be sent back. Cartels will take note and adjust their plans accordingly. The incentive will remain to ship unaccompanied minors over illegally.

As for tough new standards on asylum applicants, well, as I said earlier, it's in the hands of so-called "asylum officers" to likely be hired from the open-borders activist community rather than immigration judges trained in immigration law. Any tough standards there and penalties for failing to heed the law or overusing 'discretion'? Any penalties for letting predators in who will prey on Americans? None that I can see. Soung auspicious?

Verifying criminal records, which is one disqualifier, seems a little skeevy with migrants rolling in from places like the Democratic Republic of Congo or Venezuela, the latter of which has emptied its jails precisely to inflict its criminals upon the U.S. Anybody expect them to cooperate? They're already threatening to not take their own migrants back because the U.S. has sanctions on the drug dealers in their leadership. Scratch any effectiveness about keeping criminals out from that quarter.

A related problem is that certain nationalities are exempted from the tougher asylum requirements, such as Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans and Nicaraguans. There is no doubt that a lot of those people should qualify for asylum, but sorting them out seems just about impossible. For example, Jhoan Boada, the charmer who beat the New York police officers and then flashed the double-middle finger to the cameras as he was exiting the New York courthouse on zero bail -- would be in the asylum-worthy category and not be sent back. Sound like a good idea to be importing more of him?

Lastly, the cash shovel-out to NGOs seems problematic, given the role of NGOs in encouraging illegal immigration and fostering it forward with road maps, advice on how to get here, free bus rides in and the like. NGOs are probably the biggest problem in the encouragement of open borders, being an interest group with cash interests in more illegal migrants coming in, so that issue is only going to incentivize more illegal immigration.

There are counter-arguments, such as this one presented by Daniel Di Martino here,

'

Some important points he makes is that the new law would strip out lots of garbage already in the tangle of immigration laws, such as illogical restrictions on family visits and extended asylum court cases, and that Democrats will probably never vote 'yes' on another bill except this one, so it may be the only chance.

But on the whole, the border bill has just a little too much compromise, normalizing the situation as we have now and ignoring that we already have a legal process for entering the U.S., which could be made easier instead of accommodating some 'acceptable' level of illegal immigration and expanding Joe Biden's power.

The other thing is that BIden can shut down the border right now if he wants to -- he just doesn't want to. That leaves the border mess on him and the possibiolity of changing America's leadership possibly the best option on the table.

House Speaker Mike Johnson says the bill is a non-starter. Perhaps putting more restrictions on Biden rather than the illegal border crossers will make it more palatable. I'm not going to 100% say that this bill is a nonstarter, but on the whole, it looks like a bad bill, and bad bills are worse than no bills, as President Trump has stated.

Mayorkas Doubles Down, Says ‘We Need’ More Migrants Amid Border Debate, Impeachment Fight

President Joe Biden’s border chief says Americans need more migrants to fill jobs — even as House legislators debate his possible impeachment and the Senate considers a legislative deal he helped broker.

Mayorkas made his demand for a high-migration, low-productivity economy during a softball interview with the New York Times:

Wouldn’t it be more orderly, and wouldn’t it be responsible governance to be able to deliver a lawful pathway to fill what we have, which is a labor need, and cut the exploitative smugglers out and give individuals a path to arrive lawfully, safely, in an orderly way, to perform labor that we need? They can send remittances home. They can return home when their work is done. Isn’t that an element of a workable immigration system?

Interviewer Lulu Garcia-Navarro passively accepted his family-separating, George W. Bush-like “Any Willing Worker” pitch as she suggested the nation’s migration debate is really about how to ensure more orderly migration:

Q. So what I’m hearing you say is that you’d like to expand legal pathways in order to relieve some of the pressure on the Southern border where people come in illegally?

A. Yes, and to fulfill one of the goals of our immigration system.

Mayorkas did not mention that a primary legislated goal of the immigration system is ensuring that American families are not discarded by employers’ use of cheap and compliant foreign labor.

Since 2021, Mayorkas has allowed more than 6.2 million migrants into Americans’ housingschoolshospitals, and workplaces. His policy has pressured down Americans’ wages. It also boosted rents and housing prices and inflicted more divisive diversity on Americans’ society. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of fields and spiked the number of “Deaths of Despair.”

Mayorkas heads the Department of Homeland Security that guards the nation’s borders. But he has repeatedly called for a Canadian-style migration system in the United States that would supply companies with all the labor they prefer. Yet Canadians increasingly recognize that their migration strategy has caused great damage to their people and economy.

However, Mayorkas’ pro-Wall Street economic agenda is downplayed by GOP legislators and by most reporters. The establishment’s silence is a tacit admission that the dispute is powering the nationwide populist upsurge that sidelined Jeb Bush and elected President Donald Trump in 2016.

Emma-Jo Morris / Breitbart News

That democratic pushback is powering the House impeachment of Mayorkas, many court battles, and public opposition to the establishment-drafted border-management plan in the Senate that would legalize much illegal migration.

Mayorkas played a central role in drafting the planned legislation with Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

The interviewer also ignored many dramas in Mayorkas’ tenure — including his 2021 decision to stop deporting illegal migrants once they cleared the border, and the overall impact of his favoritism towards migrants — including more anti-Semitic attitudes and racial appeals — and his moral and legal duty to Americans, including roughly 5 million men who have fallen out of the workforce.

Similarly, the New York Times article sidelined the huge death toll among migrants trying to reach Mayorkas’ welcome, and his failure to curb the cross-border flow of drugs that kills roughly 70,000 Americans each year from drugs. It was also silent about Mayorkas’ recent deals with Mexico to steady the inflow of economic migrants.

Instead, the interviewer mischaracterized Americans’ rational and legitimate concerns about Mayorkas’ nation-changing immigration policies, and allowed Mayorkas to smear those concerns as unreasoning “hate”:

Q. Some people argue that the Biden administration’s mishandling of the border has given those who are anti-immigrant [some] ammunition to advocate for draconian cuts to immigration, like mass roundups of undocumented people and shutting the border down.

A. I’ve never understood individuals with anti-immigrant sentiments to need ammunition. Hate is its own ammunition. And regrettably, we have seen that [hate] materialize in many different ways … in this country.

The interviewer did not ask, and Mayorkas did not explain, why he dismissed the public’s majority criticism of his migration policies as mere “hate.”

In general, Mayorkas gets kid glove treatment when he speaks to the national press.

For example, the Associated Press also interviewed Mayorkas and let him dodge the awkward issues of his pro-migration skew, record on drugs and migrant deaths, wages and housing, law, and polls. But the Associated Press article did include this bouquet:

Supporters say he is driven by commitment to public service and that impeachment is completely at odds with what they know of the law-and-order-minded former prosecutor.

Cecilia Munoz, who worked closely with Mayorkas during the Obama administration, praised his tenure as head of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service, where she says he put in place a program giving protection from deportation to migrants brought to the border as children in “light speed.” She also noted his efforts to get Haitian children, orphaned by the 2010 earthquake, into the U.S. to people who wanted to adopt them.

The New York Times‘ softball interviewer, Garcia-Navarro, is on safe ground with her pro-migration editors.

For example, a February 2 article by the newspaper’s Editorial Board complained that the border deal is threatened because “Republican leaders … are engaged in other forms of sabotage.” The deal should go through, said the board, because it will legalize more immigration:

The deal under construction in the Senate reportedly would raise the bar for asylum claims and provide funding to expedite decisions. It would expand other forms of legal immigration [emphasis added], which could help to take some pressure off the asylum process.

[Congress] needs to act so that people without legitimate claims cannot walk into the United States — not least so that others are able to do so [emphasis added].

Extraction Migration

Since at least 1990, the federal government has relied on Extraction Migration to grow the economy after it allowed investors to move much of the high-wage manufacturing sector to lower-wage countries.

The migration policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries. The additional workers, consumers, and renters push up stock values by shrinking Americans’ wages, subsidizing low-productivity companies, boosting rents, and spiking real estate prices.

The economic policy has pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors, reduced native-born Americans’ productivity and political clout, reduced high-tech innovation, crippled civic solidarity, and allowed government officials to ignore the rising death rate of discarded Americans.

DHS Chief Mayorkas Praises Senate Bill for Preserving Biden’s Parole Pipeline at Southern Border

Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), speaks during a news conference in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room at the White House in Washington, DC, US, on Thursday, May 11, 2023. Mayorkas said Wednesday the Biden administration has been constrained by outdated and broken …

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is praising a Senate bill from Sens. James Lankford (R-OK), Chris Murphy (D-CT), and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) mostly for preserving the administration’s massive parole pipeline that has freed hundreds of thousands of border crossers into American communities.

Late Sunday evening, the senators released their highly-anticipated bill that seeks to explode immigration to the United States even as Biden has welcomed a record number of foreign nationals via the southern border.

The bill, among other things, preserves Biden’s parole pipeline for Cubans, Nicaraguans, Haitians, and Venezuelans arriving at the border — a feature praised by Mayorkas in a statement he released endorsing the bill.

“The bipartisan agreement in the Senate is tough, fair, and takes meaningful steps to address the challenges our country faces after decades of Congressional inaction,” Mayorkas said:

This agreement builds on this administration’s approach of strengthened consequences for those who cross the border unlawfully, without curtailing the development of lawful, safe, and orderly pathways for those who qualify. While it will take time to fully implement these new measures, the new enforcement tools and resources this proposal offers will further strengthen our ability to enforce the law in the months and years ahead, and we will begin implementing them as soon as it becomes law. [Emphasis added]

Murphy similarly said that the parole pipeline will not be touched by the bill.

“[The bill authorizes] a clarification of how humanitarian parole is used at the land borders, but NO changes to the President’s ability to bring in vetted, sponsored migrants through the program known as CNHV (Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela parole),” Murphy wrote on Twitter.

As Breitbart News reported, Biden’s parole pipeline preserved in the Senate bill has already helped release close to 330,000 border crossers into the U.S. interior.

Mayorkas said he and his team at DHS worked with Lankford, Murphy, and Sinema to produce the bill and urged Congress to pass it.

“I thank the bipartisan group of senators who came together over the past several months to craft this legislation … I call on Congress to pass this bipartisan legislation,” Mayorkas said.

Senate Bill Grants Amnesty to Illegal Aliens in U.S. for 14+ Days or 100+ Miles from Border

The Senate’s pro-migration border bill sets a finish line and a countdown clock for illegal aliens to achieve amnesty.

“If you’re an illegal alien who makes it 100+ miles inside the US, or you last longer than 14 days, congratulations! This bill allows you to roam free,” said Rep. Dan Bishop (R-NC), an attorney and member of the House Judiciary Committee.

The text Bishop references reads, “[t]he border emergency authority shall only be activated as to aliens who are not subject to an exception under paragraph (2), and who are, after the authority is activated, within 100 miles of the United States southwest land border and within the 14-day period after entry.”

This means any illegal alien who makes it further than 100 miles from the border or evades capture for 14 days will not count towards the triggering of the declaration of an emergency, nor would they be subject to the additional enforcement mechanisms triggered — if Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas chooses — when that limit is reached.

The bill text reads that the Secretary of Homeland Security “shall activate the border emergency authority if during a period of seven consecutive calendar days, there is an average of 5,000 or more aliens who are encountered each day; or on any 1 calendar day, a combined total of 8,500 or more aliens are encountered.”

RFK Jr.: How I Would Fix The Border Crisis Immediately

Last week on Fox & Friends, I explained why the border crisis has become so unsustainable and what I will do immediately as president to fix this humanitarian nightmare.

When I visited the border in Yuma, Arizona last year, I saw the problems causing the crisis in real time. Here are the facts: The number of migrants crossing the border is at an all-time high. The physical barriers in the most highly-populated crossing zones have huge gaps. Border Patrol is utterly demoralized. And the Migrant Protection Act is no longer in effect.

Does the Biden administration seem to care about any of this? No. I will take immediate action to address what’s causing the border crisis and this humanitarian nightmare on day one of my presidency.

“Judicial Watch’s records request is designed to expose how California state legislators are wasting tax dollars to take care of another corrupt politician – Eric Holder – under the guise of resisting the rule of law on immigration and other matters,” stated Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.  “His record at the Clinton and Obama Justice Departments demonstrates a willingness to bend the law in order to protect his political patrons

News of Dex’s death due to an accidental fentanyl overdose comes one day after Rick Harrison, one of the chief talents on Pawn Stars, revealed that his 39-year-old son, Adam, died from a fentanyl overdose, which he blamed on the border crisis.

“The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better,” he said.

The annual death toll from fentanyl poisoning among Americans now equals the annual death toll of American soldiers in World War II. But Biden has made no effort to deter the Chinese from poisoning Americans citizens by, for example, ending the subsidies we provide to their economy or revoking China’s Most Favored Nation trade status, or closing all the Confucius Institutes in our universities set up to steal our technologies. From the Chinese Communist point of view, this alone would be worth the tens of millions of dollars they have poured into the Bidens’ pockets. DAVID HOROWITZ

So they want billions and billions in assistance to foreign countries, such as Ukraine, which is not a NATO country, but a big hog wallow for the U.S. foreign policy consulting establishment, nearly all Democrats, drawing lots of "contracts," if not losing track of the money entirely, as a top Ukrainian official admitted, but they refuse to lift a finger to halt Joe Biden's open-borders policies, which have created untold misery on city streets as migrants are dumped, human trafficking networks are empowered, cartels are growing so rich they are driving Mexicans out of their homes, families are being separated and broken up and kids sold into slavery based on Biden's immigration incentives, migrants are dying en route through dangerous crossings, illegal alien crime is growing, and Democrat-led cities are seeing their budgets blown out and vital police and fire services cut.

REALITIES OF JOE BIDEN'S OPEN BORDER:

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because it encourages elites to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of the ordinary Americans whom they want to treat as an irredeemable caste NEIL MUNRO

JOE BIDEN is known as a serial liar, a "public servant" who has somehow managed to accrue tremendous wealth, a race-baiting opportunist, Catholic-in-name-only, and a bought-and-paid-for politician in bed with criminal cartels and foreign foes.  In another era, Joe Biden would have been run out of his country much the same way Benedict Arnold was two and a half centuries ago; in an era when integrity, honor, fortitude, fidelity, and grit have been jettisoned for immorality, unscrupulousness, weakness, betrayal, and craven pliability, however, he is elevated to king sleazeball in a city drowning in sleaze. A word about the elections down Mexico way

Mexicans elect a new president every six years.  So it occasionally happens that the U.S. and Mexico have elections on the same year. Such is 2024, when voters in both countries will get to choose a new president and Congress.

Former U.S. ambassador to Mexico Earl Anthony Wayne has expressed some concerns about democracy south of the border. This is what he wrote:

AMLO has been very critical of the Supreme Court and other autonomous institutions that were created over the years as Mexico was building its democracy. However, AMLO has not had the two-thirds majority in both houses of Congress needed to approve the constitutional reforms he would like to see. His attempted reforms have sparked very large counter demonstrations and been rebuffed by Mexico’s courts, but he has persisted in his calls for constitutional change.

During AMLO’s six-year tenure, the independent global indexes on democracy and related issues, including corruption and rule of law, have reported deterioration and backsliding in the quality of Mexico’s democracy. The 2023 World Justice Project’s Rule of Law Index, for example, tracks a decline in Mexico’s rule of law score during AMLO’s term and currently ranks Mexico at 116 out of the 142 countries measured. Thus, the outcome of the Mexico’s elections could be very important for the strength of Mexico’s democratic institutions.

Not surprisingly, many in Mexico see the 2024 elections as a test for maintaining the strength of its democracy – echoing themes being heard in the U.S. election campaign.

Interesting.  I learned this week that Mexicans are planning a huge march nationwide to protect their democracy from what they see as AMLO's overreach.

At the moment, AMLO’s candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum, looks like an easy winner in the upcoming election.  She is leading against opposition candidate, Senator Xóchitl Gálvez, by a strong margin.  One of these two ladies will be the next president of Mexico and it looks like it will be Claudia.

The real threat to democracy is that AMLO doesn't go away.  I am not saying that he stays as president but rather does not leave the stage.  His candidate Sheinbaum looks more and more like a puppet of AMLO.  She is a well-educated woman but does not have the personality to match AMLO's political skills.

At some point, likely President Sheinbaum may have to lock AMLO in the closet and prove to Mexicans that she is in charge.  It will be tough.

Jim Jordan Subpoenas Xavier Becerra for Details on Criminals, Gang Members Posing as Migrant Children

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) has subpoenaed Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Xavier Becerra for information on the agency’s handling of criminals and gang members posing as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) in the hopes of being released into the United States.

On Tuesday, Jordan announced that he subpoenaed Becerra, suggesting that HHS has been less than forthcoming regarding how the agency handles UACs who are discovered to be criminals and gang members.

HHS oversees the UAC program, in which children arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border are briefly taken into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) custody before being transferred to HHS custody, where they are eventually placed with an adult sponsor — the majority of whom are not their biological parents.

According to Jordan, the Judiciary Committee has asked repeatedly since June of last year for all information from HHS regarding where UACs are placed, the vetting process for adult sponsors, and what the agency does when a UAC is found to be a criminal or gang member.

HHS, Jordan alleges, has been unable to disclose the total number of UACs that the agency has placed in the custody of a known sex offender or the number of adult sponsors who have been rejected for being a convicted criminal, including a convicted murderer.

From Fiscal Year 2021 through Fiscal Year 2023, more than 370,000 UACs have been released into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS. The majority of UACs, 61 to 66 percent, are males, while 69 percent to 72 percent are 15 to 18-years-old.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, Becerra has been unable to guarantee that 100 percent of adult sponsors’ homes are inspected before a UAC is placed in their care — a requirement for many pet adoption programs, Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ) previously noted.

WATCH: Rep. Lesko: Harder to Adopt a Dog Than to Take in Migrant Kids Under Biden

@energyandcommerce / YouTube

Last year, the New York Times released a bombshell report suggesting that more than 85,000 UACs released into the U.S. interior had been lost in the system after being sent to live with adult sponsors — most of whom were not their biological parents — by HHS.

HHS losing contact with these UACs coincides with a boom in labor trafficking among migrant children. The labor trafficking pipeline has gotten so out of hand that the Department of Labor Inspector General has opened an investigation into the Biden administration’s handling of the issue.
