JOE BIDEN'S DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA - HIS PART TIME JOB FOR MEXICO - Fmr. Biden Border Patrol Chief: ‘I Never Once Met’ with Biden or Harris in Nearly 2 Years

Time to Deep-Six the Democrats' Brand of Democracy

The Democrats warn us almost daily that re-electing Donald Trump in 2024 will spell the end of democracy. But, technically, do we even live in a country whose constitution established us as a "democracy"?

When Benjamin Franklin left the Constitutional Convention of 1787, he was greeted by a woman who asked him point-blank, "Well, doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?" Mr. Franklin's terse response: "A republic, madam -- if you can keep it."

It is significant that Franklin did not say that the form of government that the Founders created was a democracy. We are, in fact, as most of us know (or should certainly know), a constitutional republic.

We are not a country where 51% of citizens can outvote the other 49%, then tell them what they can and cannot do. We are a representative government with checks and balances built in as guaranteed safeguards against a majority of strong-willed individuals lording it over the meek, timid, and disadvantaged. Both majority and minority have a true say in how every citizen is governed.

The First Amendment guaranteeing free speech has always been key if we hope to "keep the republic." Once that is co-opted -- then controlled and censored -- an unsuspecting public will be easily swayed into thinking in line with whatever ensures that an elite few can gain and maintain power. Manipulating the masses is the goal.

Election season is always ripe for the misuse of our First Amendment. If the leftist elites that currently control the many facets of our culture -- the press, academia, entertainment, business and, yes, even many religious institutions -- continue unabated, the noble idea and ideals upon which America was established will soon become a regrettable lost cause of the past.

Obviously, two powerful forces remain in the battle to control America through the presidency in this year's election. On one side, the Democrats with their twisted definition of America, aided by a Deep State, far-left, globalist, RINO, and woke contingency; on the other, all those pushing back, whether part of the America First and MAGA crowd or the myriad other freedom-loving citizens of all stripes awake to the evil that has accelerated over these past three years.

Since the 2020 presidential contest, which was declared by the powers that be "the most secure election in American history," there is a majority of citizens who have serious doubts about the validity of the result. Another percentage naively believe that that sort of third-world, election-stealing shenanigans could never happen here. And yet another, smaller group knows for a fact that the election was not secure in the least, because they themselves were flat-out involved in rigging and stealing it. On November 3rd through 6th of 2020, a group of Democrat operatives blatantly and quite effectively ended the concept of free and fair elections, thus negating one of the keystones of self-rule by We the People.

Building upon that 2020 "win," Democrats and their tyrannical gang have since targeted anyone who stands in the way of their fundamental transformation of this country, President Trump chief among their adversaries. As Trump so often reminds us, the Left is not after him, they are after independent, free-thinking, non-compliant Americans. He's just standing in their way.

And stand he has.

After everything the Left has manufactured to take Trump out, every sort of imagined or concocted crime, Trump still stands. And, undeterred, fights back. He refuses to simply fade away. Democrats and their machine on the left roll out their revenge and retribution daily on Trump because he had the audacity to run for president in the first place. Then to win. Then to win a second time.

From the primary trail over the past several months, Trump has also highlighted that, besides honest elections, another crucial facet necessary for a country to exist as a sovereign nation is a secure border. We can all clearly see what the Biden administration has allowed to transpire at the southern border. Millions of illegal aliens have simply strolled across our wide-open borders and are now who-knows-where throughout our country. Does this indicate a government that is concerned about sovereignty or security in any way, shape, or form?

Other traits indicative of the Democrats' brand of democracy include publicly labeling political adversaries as "domestic terrorists"; using excessive force and exaggerating charges when arresting dissenters; imprisoning protestors, such as those involved on January 6, without charges and due process; championing mob violence and looting from the progressive far Left; and so many additional tactics that might more readily apply to fascism than democracy.

All these destructive features touted by the Biden administration help to reveal the democracy to which the Democrats refer. And we need to squelch it sooner rather than later.

November 5th would be just in the nick of time.

Fmr. Biden Border Patrol Chief: ‘I Never Once Met’ with Biden or Harris in Nearly 2 Years

On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Your World,” former Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz stated that he “never once met” with either President Joe Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris during his tenure running the agency from August 2021 to the end of June 2023 and “it’s long overdue that they sit down and roll up their sleeves and start coming up with some solutions.”

Ortiz said, “Well, certainly, I think it’s important that the President meet with Border Patrol officials to find out exactly what needs to be done to remedy the crisis that’s ongoing. And it’s not just in South Texas or West Texas. It’s happening in Tucson, San Diego, El Paso. Those are the three busiest areas along the southwest border right now. And the only way you’re going to actually hear firsthand is by talking to those Border Patrol officials, by meeting with the chief of the Border Patrol. I’ve made it perfectly clear, when I was the Chief, I never once met with the President or the Vice President. And I think it’s long overdue that they sit down and roll up their sleeves and start coming up with some solutions.”

National Border Patrol Council: Trump Supports Agents’ Mission; Biden ‘Burned the Border to the Ground’

The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) drew a stark contrast between how former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden treat border patrol agents, declaring Trump shows agents “respect” while “Biden falsely accuses them of crimes.”

The union, which notes it represents some “18,000 Border Patrol Agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol,” took to X on Thursday to lay out the “difference” between Biden and Trump.

“President Trump treats BP agents with respect, supports their mission and listens to their ideas,” a post from the union’s official account reads. “Biden falsely accuses agents of crimes, burned the border to the ground and only listens to his radical leftist base. See the difference?”

The union seems to be referencing Biden’s allegation in 2021, in which he “falsely accused Del Rio Sector Border Patrol Unit agents of using horses to run over migrants and strapping them from horseback,” as Breitbart News Texas’s Bob Price and Rady Clark previously wrote.

The contrast comes as the two likely November presidential nominees spar on the campaign trail with dueling stops at the U.S. Southern border in Texas Thursday as the issue takes the spotlight in the early stages of the general election. Trump will visit Eagle Pass, and Biden will be in Brownsville. The president only announced he was going to the border after Trump’s plans were public.

Biden vowed to lay blame on Republicans for the crisis at the border during the death of the pro-migration establishment border bill in the Senate earlier this month, and he looks to drive that narrative Thursday, as Breitbart News’s Neil Munro noted. This is despite 55 percent of registered voters supporting Trump’s call for the Senate not to pass a compromise on the pro-migration bill, according to a Harvard-Harris poll conducted February 21-22 among 2,022 respondents.

Notably, the Biden Administration neglected to invite NBPC president Brandon Judd, who had supported the bill that would have brought raises for his members, on its border visit to Brownsville, Texas, as Breitbart News Capitol Hill Correspondent Bradley Jaye noted:

GOP Senators Speak On Growing Crisis At Southern Border

Ted Cruz (R-TX) speaks at a press conference at the U.S. Capitol to discuss immigration at the southern border on June 22, 2022 in Washington, DC. Cruz spoke alongside Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and discussed what they see as a worsening crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border caused U.S. by President Joe Biden’s administration’s policies. During a press conference, a reporter asked Jean-Pierre why National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd was stiffed by Biden yet received an invitation from Donald Trump.

“So look, I will have more to share on what Thursday’s gonna look like. We’ll have more to share on who’s going to be joining the president,” Jean-Pierre replied.

In an op-ed published by Fox News Wednesday, Judd wrote Trump “deliberated about the best place on the border to visit with several people, including myself.” He emphasized Trump’s choice of Eagle Pass will “highlight Biden’s massive failings.”

Judd also ripped Biden during a Fox News appearance Monday night, suggesting his visit is “self-serving.”

“He had three years to put policies in place,” Judd said. “Now we’re only eight months from an election and now it looks like he’s interested, and he’s only interested in it because it’s self-serving and he wants to save himself.”

The NBPC, in a separate post on X Thursday, told Biden to “Keep our name out of your mouth today.”

It also warned that Americans are “just experiencing the tip of the iceberg with illegal alien crime in this country.”

“When Joe Biden’s Titanic capsizes you’re going to see the real damage he’s done the last 3 years,” it added.

Polls: The Public Blames Joe Biden – Not the GOP – for Migration Disaster

Polls show that the public disagrees with President Joe Biden’s media-magnified, campaign-trail claim that Republicans are the bad spoilers in border security.

Biden is visiting the Mexican border today to make that claim to a national TV news audience. He will get a lot of airtime to make his claims, partly because Donald Trump is also holding a campaign event at the border today.

“Every day between now and November, the American people are going to know that the only reason the border is not secure is Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican friends,” Biden promised on February

Unfortunately for Biden, 57 percent of 2,022 registered agree with Trump’s criticism of the establishment’s February pro-migration border bill, according to a February 21-22 poll by the Harvard Center for American Political Studies and The Harris Poll.

February 8-12 poll by Monmouth University showed that 47 percent of 902 adults dismissed the establishment bill as “not tough enough.”

The Monmouth poll also asked: “Who is more responsible for blocking this bill – the Republicans in Congress, the Democrats in Congress, or both parties equally?” Only 36 percent blamed the GOP, 13 percent blamed Democrats, and 48 percent blamed “both parties equally.”

Biden’s migration inflow of more than 6.2 million economic migrants has deeply damaged his reelection chances, according to a February 23 report by Gallup: “Biden registers subpar approval ratings for his handling of five key issues facing the U.S., including a new low of 28% for immigration.”

The polls make it unlikely that Biden can shove any blame for his migration disaster into the GOP’s lap.

For three years, the public has seen how Biden deliberately dismantled Trump’s border protections in his first few days at the White House. His deputies have now welcomed one illegal or legal migrant for every American born during his term.

Biden is also claiming that the GOP sabotaged border security by rejecting the pro-migration border deal secretly developed in the Senate by Democratic and GOP leaders.

But the secretly drafted, pro-migration bill was denounced by many GOP legislators — including House Speaker Mike Johnson — even before Trump slammed the giveaway deal.

The establishment bill included much fine print that minimized border barriers, mandated catch-and-release for job-seeking arrivals, and even created an asylum highway overseen by pro-migration hires.

The bill was drafted by deputies working for the Senate leaders — Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). But it was immediately rejected by the GOP caucus — and helped cause McConnell’s February 28 announcement that he would give up his leadership of the GOP caucus.

Despite Biden’s claim that the bill was needed and popular, polls show that the bill’s easy-migration rules are deeply unpopular.

For example, the Harvard poll showed that 71 percent of respondents agreed that “the administration should … make it tougher to get in the US illegally.” The 71 percent included 56 percent of Democrats.

The Harvard poll also showed that 57 percent said “the Biden administration has the legal power it needs to address the border security and immigration issues we are facing today.” The 51 percent included 49 percent of Democrats, 60 percent of Republicans, and 50 percent of independents.

Republicans scoff at Biden’s effort to shift blame.

“Biden’s election-year shift, coming on the heels of multiple violent crimes by illegals his own administration released, won’t convince Americans he is serious about border security,” Johnson said in a February 28 tweet. He added:

The fact that it’s taken more than three years to do anything to confront dangerous sanctuary cities should show everyone the President is grasping at straws to cover up his border catastrophe.

If the President is serious about securing the border, he should use his executive authority to make immediate changes to the border, deter illegals from coming, and stop the mass release of illegals into our country.

The migration issue is increasingly difficult for Biden to dodge, partly because of the rising crime by the many unidentified migrants welcomed by Biden’s impeached, Cuban-born, border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas.

The respondents in the Harvard poll said that immigration was the top issue facing the country, with a 36 percent score compared to 33 percent for inflation. Thirty-five percent of independents and 51 percent of Republicans described migration as the top issue.

Forty-four percent said Biden’s biggest mistake was “Created an open borders policy and a historic flood of immigrants.” The view was held by 57 percent of Republicans and 47 percent of independents.

Fifty-nine percent said they strongly “miss Donald Trump’s policies on the economy, immigration and crime.”

A clear 55 percent to 45 percent majority agree with Trump’s opposition to the border bill drafted by  Schumer and McConnell (R-KY). The crosstabs showed agreement from 87 percent of GOP voters, 50 percent of independents, and 28 percent of Democrats.

The pollster asked:

Donald Trump has recently called on the Senate not to pass a compromise bill on immigration and border security not to give the Biden administration any wins on an issue that he says they failed to do anything about and failed to enforce the law for over three years. The bill would allow up to 5000 migrants to come in each day before new measure kicked in and Trump says Republicans can solve the problem better after voters give them a mandate in the election. Do you think Trump is right and support his position against a compromise bill on immigration or is he standing in the way of solving a major issue?

Mayrokas’s pro-migration policies are so unpopular that Biden’s campaign deputies are now reversing many of Mayorkas’ policies.

For example, the nation of Colombia has suddenly clamped down on the global migration from South America around Panama’s Darien Gap jungle trail. In 2022, Mayorkas pushed Panama to let migrants avoid the long jungle trail and instead take boats to a U.S.-backed bus station in the jungle.

Also, White House officials are now asking Democrats who run multiple “Sanctuary Cities” to help deliver criminal migrants to ICE for quick deportation. The turnaround comes three years after Mayorkas announced that he would only deport migrants convicted of violent felonies.

“We welcome local law enforcement’s support and cooperation in apprehending and removing individuals who pose a risk to national security or public safety,” a White House staffer told Fox News on Wednesday. “When a local jurisdiction has information about an individual who could pose a threat to public safety, we want them to share that information with ICE.”

Mayorkas has repeatedly explained that he supports more migration because of his migrant parents, his sympathy for migrants, his support for “equity” between Americans and foreigners, his willingness to put his priorities above the law, and the claimed “needs” of U.S. business.

Trump Campaign Releases Video Highlighting Illegal Alien Crimes Ahead of Border Visit

Donald J. Trump for President 2024

Former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign released a new video on Thursday morning highlighting the surge in crimes–particularly murders being committed by illegal aliens ahead of Trump’s visit later in the day to the U.S. border with Mexico.

The video, provided by the Trump campaign exclusively to Breitbart News ahead of its public release, intersperses clips of Trump from his famous 2015 presidential campaign launch speech, where he talked about how Mexico and other countries were “not sending their best” to the United States, with clips of news coverage of illegal alien crimes.

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” Trump says in the open of the video, a clip from when he first entered the political arena… “It’s coming from more than Mexico… they’re bringing drugs…”

From there, the video cuts to news coverage of anchors discussing how “traffickers are busier than ever” and how “hundreds of pounds of cocaine hidden inside rocks being transported across the border” and “three hundred pounds of narcotics were seized” and “$400,000 worth of liquid meth” and “the amount of fentanyl seized so far is enough to kill over 30 million people.”

The video then cuts back to Trump saying illegal aliens are “bringing crime” into the United States, before it switches to news anchors again covering various murders and other crimes committed by illegal aliens. The first one highlighted is the murder of Laken Riley, the 22-year-old student recently killed in Georgia by an illegal alien. Then it highlights several other killings by illegal aliens of Americans, including the killing of 19-year-old Adrienne Sophia Exum, the killing of 16-year-old cheerleader Lizbeth Medina, the killing of five Americans including a nine-year-old, the killing of a police officer by an illegal alien, and another illegal alien who killed a mother and son while driving drunk.

Then it cuts back to Trump talking about how “rapists” are coming into the country, before cutting to news coverage of anchors discussing various illegal aliens accused of rapes in the United States.

Finally, the video cuts to Trump in his post-presidency talking about how Biden has made the border far worse than ever before. “We had the safest border ever and now we have the worst border ever,” Trump said. “And I mean anywhere—there’s never been a border like this ever in the world.”

Trump is set to visit the U.S. border on Thursday, and Democrat President Joe Biden is also set to visit the border on Thursday. The dueling border visits by the two leading 2024 presidential candidates frame up immigration and national security as the leading issue of the 2024 election, with both candidates heading there on the same day as each has essentially become their parties’ presumptive nominees.
