FAIR DENOUNCES OBAMA'S IMPERIAL AMNESTY TO BUY THE ILLEGALS' VOTES

Obama Claims Unlimited Authority in Granting Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Under 30
The sanctity of the Constitution and the value of American citizenship were dealt major blows on Friday when President Obama announced he will stop deporting illegal aliens that would qualify for the DREAM Act and hand them work authorization. We at FAIR need your help now more than ever!
You're not alone in this fight. Americans have made their opinions on amnesty and the DREAM Act heard time and time again. Twice over the past six years, Americans have said a resounding "NO" to granting citizenship (or a path thereto) to people who have disrespected our laws and borders.

Yet this president, in a single stroke, says he doesn't care what Americans (or Congress) think because granting amnesty to illegal immigrants is "the right thing to do." He uses that phrase a resounding 10 times in his nine minute address! Why? Because he can't justify what he did legally or otherwise. He overstepped his limits as the president and is quite literally rewriting the books on immigration for partisan gain.
Granting amnesty to nearly one million illegal aliens is not the right thing to do. It undermines the rule of law, rewards illegal immigration while encouraging more, and floods our labor markets further in a time of high unemployment. Bypassing Congress to do so is a dangerous precedent to set. Obama is eroding Congressional authority AND the validity of the Constitution by choosing not to enforce the laws Congress passes – and worst of all, doing it for political gain.
I urge you to stand with FAIR as we wage a battle against a president who is willing to crumple the Constitution to pander to voters a few months before the election and decree a major amnesty while he's at it. Your donation of any size will help us fight the FAIR fight for responsible immigration.
My sincere thanks,

Dan Stein, President
