The Three Blows to the New World Order
So much for "the end of history."

Nearly 30 years ago the Cold War ended with
the collapse of the Soviet Empire. Communism, the last challenge to the Western
paradigm of liberal democracy and free trade, disappeared, defeated by the same
free-world alliance that had vanquished earlier totalitarian foes like fascism
and Nazism. History understood not as events but as a tournament of conflicting
socio-politico-economic orders had ended. A “new world order,” over a century
in the making, finally had won.
BLOG: BUSH IS NO ONE’S HERO!
HE’S A WAR CRIMINALS AND CON MAN WHO GOT FILTHY RICH OFF SELLING AMERICAN TO
GLOBALIST.
That heady optimism was expressed by George
H.W. Bush in his 1991 State of the Union address. The disintegration of the
Soviet Union seemingly confirmed the triumph of democracy, free markets, and
transnational institutions, or as Bush said, “a new world order, where diverse
nations are drawn together in common cause to achieve the universal aspirations
of mankind––peace and security, freedom, and the rule of law.”
The Nineties saw several developments that
seemingly confirmed Bush’s optimism about the future: The swift defeat of the
brutal dictator Saddam Hussein, and the ending of revanchist violence in the
Balkans by multinational coalitions; the expansion of NATO to the borders of
Russia; the creation of the European Union by the Maastricht Treaty, and the
welcoming of communist China into the World Trade Organization. All were signs
of history’s “end.” At the same time, the tech revolution was relentlessly
shrinking the world further, facilitating global trade and global communication
through the World Wide Web, more powerful computers, email, and social media.
Over the last three decades, however, three
disruptions have challenged the assumptions of a Kantian “perpetual peace”
based a “rules-based international order” that reflects a new “harmony of
interests” among the world’s peoples. Each crisis has exposed the flawed
assumptions behind the naïve optimism and arrogant over-confidence of those in
the West who have promoted, built, and managed this paradigm.
9/11: Jihadist Terror
BLOG: DO A SEARCH FOR BUSH
AND HIS SAUDIS CRONIES WHO INVADED US 9-11-01.
History returned with a vengeance on
September 11, 2001. The smoking ruins of the World Trade center reminded us
that another vision of socio-politico order, Islam––one that had occupied
two-thirds of the old Roman Empire and serially raided and invaded a nascent
Europe for a thousand years––was not done with history. The “war on terror,”
including the Second Gulf War and the invasion of Afghanistan, both of which
are still not finished, should have made us rethink our triumphalist assumptions
about the inevitability of democracy and free-trade and peace and human rights.
And it should have chastened us for our
arrogance and failure of imagination. Our continuing inability to create
liberal democracies and human rights among peoples for whom such concepts are
alien didn’t lead to a critical reassessment of the New World Order’s
foundational assumptions.
BLOG: BUSH AND HIS FATHER STARTED TWO
WARS AGAINST IRAQ FOR THEIR SAUDI$ CRONIES. WE ARE STILL IN THEM AND HAVE
SQUANDERED TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
Indeed, President George W. Bush, in the
2002 National Security Strategy, defined the foreign policy of the United
States as promoting a “single sustainable model for national success: freedom,
democracy, and free enterprise,” for “these values of freedom are right and
true for every person, in every society.” Bush returned to these themes in his
inaugural speech in January 2005––while the failure of remaking Iraq and
Afghanistan was still obvious. He linked U.S. security and global peace to the
“force of human freedom” and the expansion of democracy: “The survival of
liberty in our land increasingly depends on the success of liberty in other
lands. The best hope for peace in our world is the expansion of freedom in all
the world.”
BLOG: THE ‘TERRORIST ATTACKS” WERE BY
BUSH-OBAMA SAUDIS CRONIES. THE SAUDIS BANKROLLED THE BUSH, CLINTON AND OBOMB
PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARIES AND THE PHONY CLINTON CHARITY FOUNDATION FAMILY SLUSH
FUND.
The terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the
expensive, both in troops and resources, misguided wars abroad repudiated these
utopian goals. We failed, and still fail, to acknowledge that Islam is a
14-centuries-old socio-political order contrary to the Western liberal
“rules-based international order.” The New World Order’s banishment of religion
to the realm of the private was exposed as a mistake, and its global identity
revealed to be an artifact of Western elites that did not capture even their
own peoples’ varied and distinct identities.
The election of Donald Trump for now has
led to a retreat from policies that reflect this unwarranted and arrogant
belief in transforming Muslim nations into Western liberal democracies. But the
foreign policy establishment, evidenced in its hostility to Trump, still
defends this bankrupt paradigm. They have continually criticized his weakening
of the “rules-based international order,” especially his withdrawal from the
Iran nuclear deal, his pressuring NATO members to live up to their pledge to
spend 2% of GDP on defense, and his “America First” foreign policy
principle and frank nationalism.
Despite Trump’s pushback and the pause in major
terror attacks, Islamic jihadism remains a potent threat. And it threatens the
New World Order, evidenced by Iran’s race to acquire nuclear weapons. Finally,
it repudiates the fundamental assumptions of a common global identity and a
“harmony of interests” underlying that order.
2007-9: The Great Recession
BLOG: THE ‘GREAT RECESSION’ WAS CAUSED BY
WALL STREET’S CRIMINAL BANKSTERS. NO ONE IN AMERICAN HISTORY HAS BEEN IN BED
WITH BANKSTERS MORE THAN OBAMA-BIDEN.
The Great Recession exposed the dangers of
a globally integrated economic system. It began in a feckless government policy
in the U.S. that relaxed standards for home mortgages, particularly interest
rates, in order to increase minority home ownership. A real estate bubble followed, and Wall Street wolves took
advantage by creating risky financial instruments for marketing these sketchy
mortgages. When lending rates increased and the bubble burst, financial
institutions were damaged, infecting the whole global economy. Unemployment in the U.S.
reached over 10%, GM declared bankruptcy, banks disappeared, and consumer
spending slowed. What followed with the election of Barack Obama was one of the
slowest economic recoveries in history, and economists proclaimed growth of GDP
would remain at 2% indefinitely.
In Europe, the sovereign debt crisis and
bank failures revealed fault lines in the EU project. Its economic regulations
and the single currency, managed by Brussels and its elite transnational
technocrats, were exposed as incoherent: A single currency with various
economic policies determined by distinct sovereign nations was always a recipe
for disaster. Particularly in the Mediterranean South, interventions by the EU,
the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund were accompanied
by demands for fiscal austerity that the Southern tier felt to be high-handed
and arrogant.
Suddenly the “one Europe” version of the
New World Order, in which national differences were subordinated to a
transnational governing elite, was fissuring. National differences in cultures
and mores were still important and acted as centrifugal forces, straining the
bonds of the Union. For all the global elite’s denigration of nationalism,
Germans are still Germans, and Italians are still Italians, with different
historical memories, different attitudes toward work and leisure, and different
expectations of what governments should do for its citizens.
These divisions have not healed, and indeed
were widened by the 2015 crisis of migration from the war-torn Middle East of
mostly young male Muslims, including large numbers of jihadist terrorists. The
Schengen Zone of open travel among European states was now revealed to be
dangerous, and many countries reinstated border controls. Terror attacks
increased in frequency and lethality, and entry states like Italy and Greece
resented having to bear the disorder resulting from migrants transiting through
their countries to the welfare paradises of northern Europe. Eastern European
members simply refused to accept the EU mandated quotas for migrants professing
a faith that for a millennium had attacked, conquered, and occupied their
territories.
The Great Recession uncovered deep flaws in
the globally integrated economy, one of which is the dismissal of national
identities and cultures. It seems that Joseph de Maistre was right: “Now, there
is no such thing as ‘man’ in this world. In my life I have seen Frenchmen,
Italians, Russians, and so on . . . . But as for man, I declare I’ve never
encountered him.” There are no “citizens of the world,” nor is there a “global
community” beyond the tiny globalist elite.
2020: The Coronavirus Pandemic
The fracturing of the EU has been worsened
by the pandemic. The divide between the EU North and South has widened even
further, as already strapped economies are nearing collapse, such as Italy’s,
the fourth largest in the EU, with France not far behind. That calamity can be
averted only by the successful northern economies that will pay up or see more
countries abandon the EU as did Great Britain.
BLOG: WE NEED TO PROSECUTE CHINA’S
AGENTS INCLUDING JOE BIDEN, DIANNE FEINSTEIN AND HILLARY CLINTON. THEY MADE
MILLIONS SERVICING THE INTERESTS OF THE COMMUNIST.
More significant is the dysfunctions in the
West’s relationship with China. Like the formation of the EU, bringing China
and its totalitarian communist regime into the World Trade Organization was a
milestone in the expansion and consolidation of the New World Order. China’s
role in the pandemic, particularly in obscuring the origins, scope, and
infectability of the outbreak, and in attempting to blame it on the U.S.,
confirmed what more than 25 years of its bad behavior should have taught us: an
illiberal, culturally different country ruled by ruthless autocrats cannot be
trusted to abide by the terms of an institution based on principles and values
it does not share.
Rather, those laws and conditions will be,
as Jonathon Swift put it, “like cobwebs, which may catch small flies, but let
wasps and hornets break through.” Since it joined the WTO in the Nineties China has violated trade
agreements, stolen intellectual and technical property, dumped products,
manipulated its currency, and committed other violations to gain an economic
advantage over its rivals, particularly the U.S. Worse yet, in our globalist
delusions about the transformative powers of free trade, we have outsourced
critical industries, such as computer chips and pharmaceuticals, to China,
giving them potent leverage over us. The “rules-based international order” has
merely afforded China the mechanisms and cover for undermining the economies of
the West and increasing China’s global power.
Finally, the virus crisis has stripped the
pretensions of the technocratic foundations of the New World Order,
discrediting its progressive champions and their naïve faith in science as
transcending professional interests, partisan biases, political ideologies, and
nationalist loyalties. Real science and technology work well for
understanding and manipulating the material world, but are less reliable when
humans––defined by their passions and interests, their self-awareness, and
their undetermined free will––become part of the equation. Then certainty and
predictability become rare and transient, lying as they do beyond the
“complexity horizon,” as mathematician John Allen Paulos calls it, “that limit
or edge beyond which social laws, events, and regularities are so complex as to
be unfathomable, seemingly random.”
The past few months have confirmed this
assessment. The “experts” we have relied on to advise our leaders during the
crisis have been inconsistent and sometimes incoherent in their prescriptions, vitiated
as they are by incomplete data, flawed models, questionable assumptions, and
political pressures. As a result, panic, hysteria, and political rent-seeking
have flourished, leading to policies like quarantining the healthy, productive
young and shutting down a thriving economy, throwing the country into a
recession on its way to becoming a depression. As a result, lives have been
needlessly lost and others will be ruined for years to come, while trillions of
dollars have been added to budget deficits and the national debt.
Time to Decide
The Trump administration has made some
critical moves towards realizing that goal of dismantling some of the New World
Order, particularly in terms of China. But as the fierce, relentless domestic
and international hatred of Trump shows, the global managerial elite will fight
hard and dirty to protect its interests.
We will see in the coming months whether
the crisis will make us all rethink our unexamined assumptions about
technocratic globalism, the transnational institutions of the “rules-based
international order,” the one-world delusions about bringing democracy and
freedom to cultures inhospitable to the principles and virtues necessary for
those goods, and the outsized authority and power we reflexively grant to
government “experts” to solve all our problems, even those that lie beyond the
ken of science, and depend on our own common sense, practical wisdom, morals,
and virtues.
Or we will watch as our unalienable rights,
national sovereignty, and freedom, already assaulted by government autocrats,
are further eroded. The choice is ours.

‘Middle Class Way of Life’

President George H.W. Bush’s plan for a “New World Order” with global
integration of the United States’ economy has made the ruling class richer
while eroding “the middle class way of life” in America, Sen. Josh Hawley
(R-MO) says.
In an
interview on The Realignment podcast,
Hawley described how the long-held push
by both political establishments to massively globalize the American economy
has been at the expense of U.S. workers while the ruling class and their allies
in the donor class have profited.
Hawley said:
If I have to
give you a sense of the kind of vision that I think voters rejected, President
Bush … gave a speech to Congress in 1990 where he talked about a ‘New World
Order,’ and he was saying this of the situation in the context with
Iraq, but he talked broadly about a ‘New global liberal order’ that of
course America would lead, that it would involve America making the world much
more like America and the rest of the world kind of blending in with America … and
there wouldn’t be the need for hard borders any longer, and we’d have free
trade, and we’d have great multinational cooperation, and we’d have
these multinational corporations that can do business in any country, and it
would be a whole new era. [Emphasis added]
…
Well, as
it turns out — first of all, China and Russia didn’t get the memo on that —
secondly, as it turns out, that ‘New World Order’ wasn’t good for American
workers. And as it turned out, it didn’t protect American middle
class values. As it turned out, it undermined the middle class way
of life. [Emphasis added]
Hawley said
the ruling class is primarily a “small group of people” from a “fairly narrow
band of colleges and graduate schools” who largely agree on the most
challenging issues facing the nation and oppose the traditionalism of middle
American communities.
“They also
tend to be the winners of this global integration. George Bush’s ‘New World
Order,’ the people who have been in charge of the parties who run the media,
who hold commanding heights in our culture; they win from that agreement,”
Hawley said of the ruling class. “They’re doing great; they are the wealthy in
our society. They are the ones who are globally integrated and global facing.”
Hawley
continued:
They also
tend to be skeptical of places like Missouri and of things like home and
community. So they say that they value those things, but you listen to somebody
… and somebody says, “I’m not going to move from this small town even though I’m
having trouble finding a job because my family is here and because this is
where we’ve lived for generations and this is where my friends are and I want
to make a life here.” A lot of D.C. elites in both parties listen to that and
they’re like, “That’s crazy.”
As Breitbart
News has chronicled, free trade has helped gut
working and middle class American jobs and stripped whole middle American
towns of their industries and livelihoods.
Since the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was signed and China was allowed to
enter the World Trade Organization (WTO), five million American manufacturing
jobs and more than 50,000 manufacturing facilities have been eliminated from
the U.S. economy. This mass elimination of jobs due to free trade has
coincided with an almost 600 percent increase in trade deficits.
In
recent years, the economic recovery from the Great Recession disproportionately benefitted elite
zip codes. For example, by 2016, elite zip codes had a surplus of 3.6
million jobs, which is more than the combined bottom 80 percent of American zip
codes. While populations have grown in major cities where the wealthiest of
Americans live, rural communities have continued to shrink.
As Breitbart News reported,
Hawley detailed in the
interview how Republicans like former President George H.W. Bush’s ‘New World Order’
agenda and Democrats have helped to create a corporatist economy that
disproportionately benefits the nation’s richest executives and donor class.

House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret
Relationship between the World's Two Most Powerful Dynasties
Audible Audiobook – Abridged
How did the Bushes, America's most powerful
political family, become gradually seduced by and entangled with their Saudi
counterparts?
Why did the Bush administration approve the secret airlift of
140 Saudis, including two dozen relatives of Osama bin Laden, just after
September 11? Did one of the Saudi royals on the planes have any advance
knowledge of the attacks?
What specifically chosen words did George W. Bush say on
national television during the 2000 election campaign to trigger Muslim
support? How did Saudi-funded Islamic groups propel Bush to victory in Florida,
thus winning him the presidency?
The answers to these questions
lie in a largely hidden relationship between the House of Bush and the House of
Saud that began in the mid-1970s. An amazing weave of money, power, and
influence, it takes place all over the globe and involves war, covert
operations, and huge deals in oil and defense industries. But, most
horrifyingly of all, the secret liasion between these two great families helped
trigger the Age of Terror and give rise to the tragedy of 9-11.

This book will test you.
When you wonder aloud why Congress doesn’t get anything done, foreign wars
continue without reason and deficits are so high, most are unable to see the
cause. Unger doesn’t explain it all but he explains the relationship between
money and power better than any book I’ve read to date.
The storyline of the book takes you through how the rich Saudi ruling class and really a group of Texan oilmen bonded over business. When you read about the genesis of the relationship in the 70s during the first part of the book, it looked merely like the cozy insider-only type of stuff that is common in the fabric of corporate America and most human relationships.
But the nuance Unger uncovers with his hawk-like ability to pull minutiae from rivers of source material outlines a darker agenda. His fact finding mission lays bare a Saudi elite trying to nudge the levers of power in Washington. And with this insight, Unger explains the nearly invisible pattern in which money buys powers in America. Unger’s work uncovers so many conspicuous connections amongst so many smart, ambitious men that coincidence is ruled out as the cause. Complicity makes the case here as well as any outsider like Unger can.
But the circumstantial nature of this book cannot be completely swept away. Unger has grokked the nefarious nature of this relationship but is missing the proverbial smoking gun. There is no ipso facto ‘A funded B which lead to C relationship’ outlined in the book. The closest we get to this as a reader is when the Bin Laden family and other Saudi royals are ferried out of the country while the FAA has all airspace on lockdown, a fascinating story that makes the TSA’s security theatre we endure at every airport comically irksome.
Recommending this book is easy, but to whom I would make that recommendation is difficult. If you sometimes watch/read the news with an open mind and wonder, “How did we get to this place?”, then I’d put this book on your list. If you’re knowledge of the middle east and current events is low, try paying attention to that news first, watch for the patterns and then read this to learn the connections. Most importantly though, any citizen trying to understand the ways in which money buys power in the modern nation-state needs to read this book.

Josh Hawley: Abolish the World Trade Organization in Wake of
Coronavirus

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) says the
World Trade Organization (WTO) should be abolished in the wake of the Chinese
coronavirus.
In an op-ed for the New York Times, Hawley credits
the WTO with helping to empower “China’s rise” while weakening American
workers:
BLOG: BUSH'S VISION OF
'NEW WORLD ORDER' HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING BUT HIS CARLYLE
GROUP/HALLIBURTON WAR MACHINE AND SAUDIS BIG OIL WHICH HIS FAMILY STARTED TWO
WARS AGAINST THE IRAQIS TO ADVANCE.
But in the early 1990s, with America’s
principal adversary gone, Western policymakers were in a messianic frame of
mind. President George H.W. Bush promised a “new world order” of “open
borders, open trade … and open minds,” a new international system based on
liberal values to bring peace to the world. He and other internationalists
wanted a new economic system to match. [Emphasis added]
…
Take the World Trade Organization. Its
mandate was to promote free trade, but the organization instead allowed some
nations to maintain trade barriers and protectionist workarounds, like China,
while preventing others from defending themselves, like the United
States. Foreign agriculture won concession after concession, while
American farmers struggled to get fair access to markets.Meanwhile, the W.T.O.
required American workers to compete against Chinese forced labor but did
next to nothing to stop Chinese theft of American intellectual property and
products. [Emphasis addd]
Under the W.T.O.’s auspices, capital and
goods moved across borders easier than before, no doubt, but so did jobs. And
too many jobs left America’s borders for elsewhere. As factories closed,
workers suffered, from small towns to the urban core. Inflation-adjusted,
working wages stagnated and upward mobility flatlined. [Emphasis added]
Enough is enough. The W.T.O. should
be abolished, and along with it, the new model global economy. The quest
to turn the world into a liberal order of democracies was always
misguided. It always depended on unsustainable American sacrifice and
force of arms. And its companion economic order has, in a similar vein,
succeeded mostly in weakening American workers and industry. [Emphasis added]
The U.S., Hawley writes, ought to “seek
new arrangements and new rules” to restore the nation’s economic sovereignty —
which includes returning to the economic system before the WTO’s creation,
where reciprocal trade “protected our national interests and the nation’s
workers.” Hawley writes:
That means returning production to this
country, securing our critical supply chains and encouraging domestic
innovation and manufacturing. It means striking trade deals that are truly
mutual and truly beneficial for America and walking away when they are not. It
means building a new network of trusted friends and partners to resist Chinese
economic imperialism.
Since the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA) was enacted and China entered the World Trade Organization
(WTO), nearly five million American manufacturing jobs have
been eliminated from the American
economy — 3.4 million of which are due
to U.S. free trade with China. The mass elimination of working- and
middle-class jobs and depressed U.S. wages due to NAFTA and China’s entering
the WTO have coincided with a more than 600 percent increase in trade deficits.
Of the 3.4 million American jobs lost
due to free trade with China, about 2.6 million — or about three-fourths — were
lost in the crippled manufacturing industry. U.S. trade deficits with China
have eliminated American jobs in all 50 states.

Bush
Center Slams Trump: We Want More Migration
3 May 202022
7:11
The
economics director at President George W. Bush’s advocacy center slammed
President Donald Trump’s popular, pro-American immigration policy.
The May 1 slam came just before Bush posted a May 2 video urging
national unity in the coronavirus crash that has pushed more than 25 million
Americans out of jobs.
“The most important thing to
remember in this is that we don’t want [Trump’s] temporary policy to become
permanent immigration policy,” economic director Laura Collins said a video
posted on the center’s Twitter account. She continued:
We know immigrants are good for the economy. We know they’re
good for our culture. We know they’re in this fight with us together, and we’re
going to meet them working with us side by side in any recovery after the
pandemic is over.
Trump’s April 22 immigration
policy says the
economic needs of American employees are more important than the immigration
preferences of foreigners. His policy temporarily trims the annual inflow of
legal immigrants and directs agencies to review visa worker programs in 30
days.
Polls show the
public — including recent immigrants — is overwhelmingly aligned with Trump in prioritizing
jobs for Americans over welcomes for legal immigrants.
The visa worker programs targeted by
Trump are extremely important to the Fortune 500. In response, the companies’
lobbyists and progressives allies have quickly launched a hard-nosed lobbying campaign and a soft-focus PR campaign to
protect the programs and mass migration.
Immigrants and native-born Americans have
always been on the same team driving American innovation and economic growth.
It will take #AllOfUS, working together, to restore the United States. https://thehill.com/changing-america/respect/diversity-inclusion/495352-jose-andres-naacp-and-others-launch-pro …

Congress now accepts 1 million legal immigrants per year.
It also allows companies to keep roughly 2 million cheap and
complaint foreign visa-workers in U.S. jobs. The 2 million workforce includes
roughly 1.5 million foreign white-collar visa workers, plus roughly 400,000
foreign blue-collar guest workers, in professional or seasonal jobs needed by
roughly 26 million unemployed Americans.
Collins touted the corporate PR campaign, dubbed #AllofUs, in
her video slamming Trump’s pro-employee policy.
.@LVTCollins explains how it will take #AllOfUs, immigrants and native-born Americans, to defeat COVID-19. And once our
nation emerges from quarantine, it will take all of us working together to
restart our economy.
“The stated objectives of this executive order were to preserve
medical supplies in a pandemic for American immigrants already here and to
preserve job openings in any recovery for American workers that can be first in
line,” Collins said her video posted May 1.
She continued:
Unfortunately, this executive order is not going to accomplish
either of those objectives.
First of all, the virus affects all of us equally. It doesn’t
care who we are, or where we’re from. Current travel restrictions and
quarantine protocols in place, protect us from viral spread regardless of where
we’re from. And so there’s not really a need to prevent more people from coming
in in terms of slowing down viral spread. We know the virus is here and it’s
spreading. And what we’re doing is working.
However, Collins’ main focus is the economic worry that Trump’s
reform may permanently reduce the unending inflow of foreign workers,
consumers, and renters preferred by CEOs and investors. She said:
We know immigrants are good for the economy. We know immigrants
don’t compete with native-born Americans for jobs. And we know that before the
pandemic, there were millions of unfilled jobs in the United States.
If we assume that in any recovery, all those jobs come back,
every American that wants a job will have the ability to fill the jobs that
were there. We’re still going to have shortages and we’re going to need
immigrants there to help fill those jobs.
We simply don’t have a labor force at full employment, big
enough to fill all the jobs in the economy.
Immigrants — like the birth of Americans’ children — help grow
the economy. They expand the labor force, boost retail sales, spike real estate
values, fuel the stock market, and expand the number of companies. A growing
economy can be good for all — but it is especially good for wealthy people who
can invest in company stocks.
Yet every annual wave of immigrants also causes much economic
harm to the roughly 220 million Americans (and recent legal immigrants) who
work for a living, or who are educating themselves to take jobs in a few years.
Every new wave of legal immigrants
and illegal migrants competes for existing jobs and force down Americans’
wages. The arrivals also expand poverty, reduce pressure on investors to buy productivity-boosting machines, drive up the price of good housing, and add congestion to K-12
schools and universities.
Immigrants, and especially visa
workers, also push Americans out of careers and technological research, and they distort Americans’ politics by expanding cultural diversity and identity politics.
Over the last 30 years, since George Bush’s father signed a 1990 bill roughly doubling
immigration, the government’s massive inflow of immigrants has kept
Americans wages almost flat (until 2018) and so has turbocharged the U.S. stock
market.
The establishment’s immigration policy has worked with free
trade to shift much wealth from middle-class employees and the heartland states
towards the stock market and the major coastal cities.
Trump was elected in 2016 to help reverse the establishment’s
economic policy.
Since 2017, he has mostly stopped illegal migration, and
he pushed wages up for blue-collars in 2018 and 2019. He has also trimmed legal
immigration, and his April 22 policy sets the stage for incremental,
significant reductions in the visa worker programs, such as the little-known
B-1 and OPT visa programs.
Business lobbies strongly oppose reductions in immigration and
visa workers.

Collins’ pro-migration views reflect George W. Bush’s
pro-business leaning and his 2001 push to allow U.S. employers to bypass
Americans and instead hire any willing workers from anywhere on the globe. The
2001 Twin Towers attack stopped Bush’s “Any Willing Worker” plan.
Collins insisted, “We know immigrants don’t compete with
native-born Americans for jobs.”
If immigrants “do jobs that Americans won’t do”, we should be
able to identify occupations in which the workers are nearly all foreign-born.
However, among the 474 separate occupations defined by the Department of
Commerce, we find only a handful of majority-immigrant occupations, and none
completely dominated by immigrants (legal or illegal). Furthermore, in none of
the 474 occupations do illegal immigrants constitute a majority of workers.
For example, companies provide the reward of green cards to
roughly 50,000 foreign visa-workers each year after those foreign workers have
taken technology jobs from Americans via the H-1B and other visa programs.
Business groups warn the Trump administration: 'Extend work permits for our
foreign visa-workers or we'll have "hundreds and thousands" of open
jobs for unemployed American voters.'#H1Bhttps://bit.ly/2YlijWd

Exclusive–Jeff Sessions: Why Bring Foreign Workers to U.S. When
30,000,000 Americans Are Jobless?
12,

United
States Senate candidate Jeff Sessions says there is no shortage of American
labor, calling out lawmakers and their “corporate friends” for supporting a
continued flow of foreign workers to the U.S. to take jobs in the midst of mass
unemployment.
In an
exclusive interview with Alexander Marlow on SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Sessions
said it is critical that lawmakers defend the interests of unemployed Americans
who have been laid off due to forced business closures spurred by the Chinese
coronavirus crisis.
LISTEN:
“We have 30
million unemployed … We don’t have jobs in the United States,” Sessions said.
“There are no jobs now. We’ll lay off more people this week then we did last
week.”
“Why would
we bring in foreign workers to take jobs when we don’t have jobs for the
American people,” Sessions asked. “What theory is it that they’re operating
under when they try to justify such a policy position? It’s certainly not in
the interest of the American people. It’s in the interest of their corporate friends
and some ideology that they adhere to … so I do think that it’s time for this
Congress to deliver on its promises that the president made in the campaign.”
Sessions
said more Republican lawmakers must be stepping up to the plate to take on
China, holding the communist regime accountable for wrecking the U.S. economy.
A select committee in the House and Senate, Sessions said, ought to be formed
to determine the truth behind China’s role in spreading the coronavirus to the
world.
“Where are
the rest of the Republicans? Where are they? I mean this is a big issue,”
Sessions said. “This party owes it to the American people to defend our
interests — American interests. And I don’t think there’s been near enough
action.”
“I would
think the first thing we need to do is to rally the people who understand the
significance of this and have what I call for, is a select committee to study
this pandemic and how it started,” Sessions continued. “We did that after the
attack on Pearl Harbor … where House and Senate appoint select members of
congress … and the charge is what did China know and what did they do, when did
they act on it or not, and did they lie about it? The world needs to know.”
As Breitbart
has reported, existing U.S. legal immigration law
greatly benefits China. Visa programs such as the EB-5 visa for wealthy foreign investors, the F-1 student visa, and J-1
visas allow about 180,000 Chinese nationals to enter the country every year
in addition to the 60,000 to 70,000 Chinese nationals who secure green cards
annually.
There are
nearly 500,000 Chinese students in the U.S. in
any given year — more than any other nation — taking seats in university
classrooms and looking to eventually obtain Optional Practical Training (OPT)
authorization to take entry-level jobs in white-collar professions.
Josh Hawley: GOP Must Defend
Middle Class Americans Against ‘Concentrated Corporate Power,’ Tech
Billionaires
JOHN BINDER
The
Republican Party must defend America’s working and middle class against
“concentrated corporate power” and the monopolization of entire sectors of the
United States’ economy, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) says.
In an interview on The Realignment podcast,
Hawley said that “long gone are the days where” American workers can depend on
big business to look out for their needs and the needs of their communities.
Instead, Hawley explained that
increasing “concentrated corporate power” of whole sectors of the American
economy — specifically among Silicon Valley’s giant tech conglomerates — is at
the expense of working and middle class Americans.
“One of the things Republicans need
to recover today is a defense of an open, free-market, of a fair healthy
competing market and the length between that and Democratic citizenship,”
Hawley said, and continued:
At the end of the day, we are trying
to support and sustain here a great democracy. We’re not trying to make a
select group of people rich. They’ve already done that. The tech billionaires
are already billionaires, they don’t need any more help from government. I’m
not interested in trying to help them further. I’m interested in trying to help
sustain the great middle of this country that makes our democracy run and
that’s the most important challenge of this day.
“You have these businesses who for
years now have said ‘Well, we’re based in the United States, but we’re not
actually an American company, we’re a global company,'” Hawley said. “And you
know, what has driven profits for some of our biggest multinational
corporations? It’s been … moving jobs overseas where it’s cheaper … moving your
profits out of this country so you don’t have to pay any taxes.”
“I think that we have here at the
same time that our economy has become more concentrated, we have bigger and
bigger corporations that control more and more of our key sectors, those same
corporations see themselves as less and less American and frankly they are less
committed to American workers and American communities,” Hawley continued.
“That’s turned out to be a problem which is one of the reasons we need to
restore good, healthy, robust competition in this country that’s going to push
up wages, that’s going to bring jobs back to the middle parts of this country,
and most importantly, to the middle and working class of this country.”
While multinational corporations
monopolize industries, Hawley said the GOP must defend working and middle class
Americans and that big business interests should not come before the needs of
American communities:
A free market is one where you can
enter it, where there are new ideas, and also by the way, where people can
start a small family business, you shouldn’t have to be gigantic in order to
succeed in this country. Most people don’t want to start a tech
company. [Americans] maybe want to work in their family’s business, which
may be some corner shop in a small town … they want to be able to make a
living and then give that to their kids or give their kids an option to do
that. [Emphasis added]
The problem with corporate
concentration is that it tends to kill all of that. The worst thing about
corporate concentration is that it inevitably believes to a partnership with
big government. Big business and big government always get together,
always. And that is exactly what has happened now with the tech sector, for
instance, and arguably many other sectors where you have this alliance between
big government and big business … whatever you call it, it’s a problem and it’s
something we need to address. [Emphasis added]
Hawley blasted the free
trade-at-all-costs doctrine that has dominated the Republican and Democrat
Party establishments for decades, crediting the globalist economic model with
hollowing “out entire industries, entire supply chains” and sending them to
China, among other countries.
“The thing is in this country is
that not only do we not make very much stuff anymore, we don’t even make the
machines that make the stuff,” Hawley said. “The entire supply chain up and
down has gone overseas, and a lot of it to China, and this is a result of
policies over some decades now.”
As Breitbart News reported,
Hawley detailed in the
interview how Republicans like former President George H.W. Bush’s ‘New World
Order’ agenda and Democrats have helped to create a corporatist economy that
disproportionately benefits the nation’s richest executives and donor class.
The billionaire class, the top 0.01
percent of earners, has enjoyed more than 15 times as much
wage growth as the bottom 90 percent since 1979. That economy has been
reinforced with federal rules that largely benefits the wealthiest of wealthiest
earners. A study released last month
revealed that the richest Americans are, in fact, paying a lower tax rate than
all other Americans.
“And then we have to get to work on
the healing of our homeland, repairing the many social and cultural injuries
and injustices caused by turbo-capitalism.”
President George H.W. Bush’s plan for a “New
World Order” with global integration of the United States’ economy has made the
ruling class richer while eroding “the middle class way of life” in America,
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) says.
Efforts by the big business
lobby, Chamber of Commerce, Koch brothers, and George W. Bush Center include
increasing employment-based legal immigration that would likely crush the historic
wage gains that Trump
has delivered for America’s blue collar and working class citizens.

semi-affluent majority in rich countries, and greatly adds to the incomes of
the top 1 percent on both sides who are managing the arbitrage.”
In the memorable words of Stephen K. Bannon, head honcho at the Trump presidential campaign and then for

How Bill Clinton and Neoliberal Trade Policies Led to the Rise of Fascism

If Virgil told you about an article
arguing that the current system can’t handle the challenges of
globalization—pointing to “the completely unprecedented personal economic
insecurity of working people, from industrial workers and white-collar clerks
to medium-high managers”—you might be inclined to react as follows: “That’s old
news. I’ve read a hundred
articles making that point, again and again, over the last few years—quite a
few of them, in fact, at Breitbart News.”
Okay, but what if Virgil told you
that this particular article was written in…1994? As in, a full quarter-century
ago? In other words, way ahead of its time?
It’s worth recalling that back in
1994, in the wake of the end of the Cold War, the elites were in love with
globalization; they were avidly consuming utopian books such as The
Borderless World, The End of History, and The Twilight
of Sovereignty.
And yes, 1994 was the year that the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) went into effect. As President
Bill Clinton said as he signed the trade
treaty, “NAFTA means jobs. American jobs, and good-paying American
jobs.” In fact, Clinton mentioned the word “jobs” a full 50 times
in that speech. Indeed, all that repetition might make one think that the
42nd president was trying really hard to convince Americans
that he was telling the truth about their jobs.
BLOG:
THE CLINTONS HAVE FROM DAY ONE BEEN SERVANTS OF BIG BANKS AND LA RAZA, THE MEX
FASCIST PARTY THEY ENDLESSLY HISPANDER TO
Interestingly, as Clinton spoke in
support of the trade deal, he was joined at the podium by former presidents
Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush; in other words, at the elite level, support
for NAFTA was virtually unanimous. Everything would be wonderful, we were
assured, if the globalists got their way.
Yet back then, one observer was
having none of this giddy optimism. In April 1994, veteran D.C.
think-tanker Edward Luttwak, writing in the London
Review of Books, argued that trade deals such
as NAFTA were hollowing out Middle America—and that the elite didn’t either
notice or care: “Neither the moderate Right nor the moderate Left even
recognizes, let alone offers any solution for, the central problem of our days:
the completely unprecedented personal economic insecurity of working people,
from industrial workers and white-collar clerks to medium-high managers.”
Luttwak’s point was that
globalization and trade were a threat to the cultural and economic structures
of each and every developed country. That is, long-standing and intricate
systems of work and life were now being exposed to the “tidal waves of change
in the global economic ocean.”
Defenders of such planetary
tidal-waving said that it was inevitable, given that countries such as Mexico
and China were entering the world economy—and that as they did so, of course
they would be making big waves. And yet Luttwak’s point was that the
elites were neither noticing nor caring about the societal impact of these
waves crashing on the home country.

Luttwak was especially cutting in
his dismissal of the Republican response: “In this situation, what does the
moderate Right … have to offer? Only more free trade and globalization,
more deregulation and structural change, thus more dislocation of lives and
social relations.”
Luttwak added that Republicans were
in the curious position of being economic libertarians and, at
the same time, social conservatives. That is, they were
more than a little schizophrenic, because wide-open economics typically
pulverizes any particular cultural heritage. As he put it, the
standard Republican “after-dinner speech is a two-part affair, in which
part one celebrates the virtues of unimpeded competition and dynamic structural
change, while part two mourns the decline of the family and community ‘values’
that were eroded precisely by the forces commended in part one.”
Okay, so Luttwak gets credit for
being ahead of his time—way ahead. He had grasped the reality that
economic growth and transformation is dislocating, especially when that
economic growth is differentialized within the society, as owners prosper and
workers suffer.
As Luttwak put it, the voguish
business-consultant jargon of the era—concepts such as “restructuring” and
“re-engineering”—was mostly just code words for downsizing and
outsourcing. That is, a given company might “grow” by slicing domestic
employment and moving production overseas, but it was growing only its own
profits, not its contribution to American society.
Yes, Luttwak’s was a lonely voice in
1994. And yet he knew that he was on to something; in 1998 he published
the equally prescient Turbo-Capitalism: Winners and Losers in the Global Economy. Describing the
contemporary system, he noted, “It enriches industrializing poor countries,
impoverishes the semi-affluent majority in rich countries, and greatly adds to
the incomes of the top 1 percent on both sides who are managing the arbitrage.”
As we all know, it took a couple of
decades for people to see that Luttwak’s critique was dead-on. Back in the
’90s and ’00s, the elite consensus held that if planetary
arbitrageurs—operating in financial and informational hubs such as New York
City and San Francisco—were prospering, that was a good enough sign that
everyone was prospering. In this reckoning, what’s good for Goldman Sachs
and Google is good for America. And of course, if more immigrants—legal or otherwise—were needed
to serve in the service economy, well, that was good, too.

THE TRUE COST OF ALL THAT "CHEAP" LABOR TO MIDDLE AMERICA. THERE IS

We can add that this smug view was
bipartisan: President George W. Bush shared Bill Clinton’s economic opinions;
indeed, if anything, Bush was even more of an enthusiast for closer integration
with Mexico. (Although, of course, Bush ended devoting most of his
presidency to the folly of closer integration with Iraq and
Afghanistan.) And as for Barack Obama, he was another globalist—seeking
closer integration with many countries, including China.
Thus it took until the 2016 election
for a presidential candidate to say, “Enough!” That candidate, of course,
was Donald Trump. (And in an odd way, some of Trump’s anti-globalization
arguments were echoed by another prominent ’16 candidate, Sen. Bernie Sanders.)

In the memorable words of Stephen
K. Bannon, head honcho at the Trump presidential
campaign and then for a time the top strategist in the Trump White House, “The
globalists gutted the American working class and created a middle class in
Asia.”
By now, most national politicians,
in both parties, pay at least lip service to the Luttwak-Bannon argument;
there’s a realization that the American middle class paid the price while the
bi-coastal elite reaped the reward. And that’s why the various
trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific trade deals favored by the Obama
administration, and Hillary Clinton, seem to be dead.
And as an aside on the 2020
presidential campaign, post-Clinton Democrats, having finally soured on
Bill-and-Hill-style neoliberalism, are now targeting White House hopeful Pete
Buttigieg for his association with McKinsey
& Co. That’s the notorious and scandal-plagued “management consulting” firm that’s been at the forefront
of so many corporate decisions to lay off and to outsource, among other forms
of international skullduggery. Buttigieg is easily recognized as the candidate most likely to
revive those globalist trade deals, in keeping with his overall Harvard
mentality; no wonder he’s so popular with the Sonoma crystal wine-cave fundraisers.
Okay, so Luttwak stands as a
prophet. However, let’s hope that he isn’t proven to be right about everything that
he wrote back in 1994. After all, the headline atop Luttwak’s piece, a
quarter-century ago was scary. It bannered, “Why Fascism is the Wave of
the Future.” That’s right, the “F” word, Fascism.
Luttwak was careful to point out
that Fascism started out separate and distinct from Nazism. That
is, the Fascist movement of Benito Mussolini, who took power in Italy in 1922,
may have been un-democratic and illiberal, but it was not Hitlerian in its
war-mongering, antisemitic, and genocidal evil. In fact, within the early
Italian Fascist movement, Jews were well represented. But then, of
course, Mussolini took on a catastrophic turn in the 1930s, after Hitler came
to power in Germany, and Italy signed on to Hitler’s Axis.

Munich. (Fox Photos/Getty Images)
Mussolini was later fully and
criminally complicit in Hitler’s wickedness, and yet still, Luttwak is right to
draw a distinction between early Fascism and Nazism.
And so it’s with the early-Mussolini
model in mind that Luttwak argued, back in ’94, that severe economic
dislocation would open the door to unpleasant political reaction:
… and that is the space that remains
wide open for a product-improved Fascist party, dedicated to the enhancement of
the personal economic security of the broad masses of (mainly) white-collar
working people. Such a party could even be as free of racism as
Mussolini’s original was until the alliance with Hitler, because its real stock
in trade would be corporativist restraints on corporate Darwinism, and delaying
if not blocking barriers against globalization.
Luttwak himself is no Fascist, and
yet as a learned historian and acute observer, he could see, a quarter-century
ago, that global trends were pushing Americans toward the point where an
anti-liberal backlash would come in full force.
Interestingly, in that 1994 article,
the American figure that Luttwak pointed to, as an early indicator, was Ross
Perot, the businessman-turned-populist. Perot was no Fascist, but his
success as a political outsider was, indeed, a stark repudiation of the liberal
and bipartisan status quo. Just two years earlier, Perot had, of course,
run for president as an independent, winning an impressive 19 percent of the
national vote. And what was one of Perot’s signature issues? Why, it
was his opposition to NAFTA. That trade deal, he said, would create a
“giant sucking sound,” as American jobs went south of the border.

presidential candidate Ross Perot delivers his concession speech to the crowd
gathered November 3, 1992, at his election night headquarters. (PAUL

Perot was mocked at the time, and
yet, of course, he has been proven right, and Clinton—plus fellow NAFTA
cheerleaders Bush 41 and Bush 43—have been proven wrong. Just as Luttwak
said it would, NAFTA turbo-charged North America, enriching the fat cats of
Wall Street and Silicon Valley, while sending regular jobs from Ohio to Mexico.

But
okay, just one last thing: What about that “F” word, “Fascism”? If Luttwak
was correct in his economic and social predictions, might he be correct, too,
in his political prediction, about the coming of a “product-improved Fascist
party”?
Today,
many on the left have their answer: Donald Trump is a Fascist. A
Google search of “Donald Trump” and “Fascist” elicits millions of hits,
including an October 2016 Washington Post op-ed entitled,
“How fascist is Donald Trump?” And just on December 21, Rep. Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez, speaking to an audience in California, declared, “It is
fascism, what we’re evolving into.”
Of
course, the left was playing the “Fascist” smear game long before
Trump. Both Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan were routinely labeled as
Fascists, as was George W.
Bush. And in 2004, the leading liberal group Moveon.org went
there, equating Bush
to, yes, Hitler.
Indeed,
as the liberal Atlantic magazine acknowledged in
2016, it’s been a standard tactic of the left to smear just about every Republican
as a “Fascist.” So as we can see, the left’s demagoguery has cheapened the
word “Fascist” to the point of irrelevance; today, the “F” word is simply just
one more insult in the left-wing arsenal.
So
no, Trump is not a Fascist, and neither are Republicans. In fact, come to
think of it, if we wanted to envision Fascism in the 21st century—allowing for
changes in style and fashion—we might think of Antifa, which is the
hipster name for Anti-Fascist.
As
Breitbart News has pointed
out, Antifa ideologists believe that violent thuggery on the
streets is a key part of their strategy for provoking civil strife—and that, of
course, is classic Fascism. So in other words, when we see the word
“Antifa,” we should just delete the “Anti” and know that we’re seeing “Fa.”

Of
course, there’s more going wrong with American society than just Antifa
hooliganism. The sort of churn that Luttwak lamented a quarter-century ago
has been profoundly damaging to the social fabric, and we see it in the
worsening of societal indicators, including flattened wages, family breakdown,
opioid use, and gun violence, including mass shootings.
And yes, it’s possible that if the deterioration continues, some
sort of strong antidote—more precisely, a horrible “antidote”—could
emerge.
So
if we want to make sure we can fend off even the threat of Fascism, we should
start with leadership that’s both strong and wise. Strong leaders stand up
to extremist Antifa-type violence, of course, and yet, at the same time, they
are wise enough to solve the underlying social conditions that contribute to
extremism.
After
all, Italian Fascism emerged from the wreckage of World War One. And we
can add that Communism—another terrible extremism that’s a kind of mirror to
Fascism—emerged in Russia at around the same time, in the wake of the same
war. And a decade later, Nazism emerged from the war, too, as well as from
the Depression.
So
obviously we start our anti-Fascism plan with a commitment to overall peace and
prosperity. That is, no stupid foreign wars, no crazy economic policies. And
then we have to get to work on the healing of our homeland, repairing the many
social and cultural injuries and injustices caused by turbo-capitalism.

HILLARY CLINTON’S GLOBALIST VISION:
SURRENDER OF OUR BORDERS WITH NARCOMEX AND SUCKING IN GLOBAL

Even though it has gone
virtually unreported by Corporate media, Breitbart News has extensively documented the
Clintons’
longstanding support for
“open borders.” Interestingly, as the Los Angeles Times observed
in 2007, the Clinton’s praise for
globalization and open
borders frequently comes when they are
speaking before a wealthy
foreign audiences and donors.
The list of predicate crimes is extensive and includes bribery,
embezzlement, fraud, theft, money laundering, and obstruction of justice.
Secretary Hillary Clinton and the Deep State: A RICO Criminal
Conspiracy
We who elected President Trump
understood our elected officials and the Deep State were sandbagging Trump and self-dealing public funds. It was no
secret that President Trump is no angel, unpresidential, blunt, and crude, and
a disruptor. Trump was hired to drain the swamp.
I watched this kabuki theater unfold over the last several
years. Through my eyes as a shopworn gumshoe, I will explain what is happening.
My investigative curiosity was first piqued by the ATF Fast and Furious scandal
and continues through the recent House impeachment show trial. There is a
common element running through all of these cons — the
actions of an organized crime conspiracy. A group of people either
acting alone or in concert with others committed crimes with a common purpose -
a criminal enterprise as described in "CRIMINAL RICO: 18 USC. §§1961-1968 A
Manual For Federal Prosecutors."
The players acted together – in the
usurpation of power, the abuse of power by public officials, bribery, thefts by
fraud including federal funds, money laundering, perjury and the obstruction of
justice, the violations of fundamental of civil rights, aided and abetted in
the commission of these crimes and or to conceal these crimes. Criminals will
lie and can't keep their lies straight. Their methods and behaviors are the
same, whether engaging in street crimes or elaborate white-collar financial
schemes. The only difference is when more money is involved, the perps are more
adept in concealing, covering up their sins, and hiding where the money went.
Many of these scandals are well known to the American Thinker readers.
I will focus my comments on Hillary's home brew sever and the Clinton
Foundation as an example of how RICO can be used to prosecute the players.
FBI Director James Comey indicted
Hillary Clinton for her home brew server at his press conference. Comey then
egregiously concluded that there was no evidence of criminal intent purportedly
“required” to prosecute. Comey bastardized the Federal Espionage Act in absolving Hillary Clinton.
FBI's investigation of Clinton's emails was low-balled. There was never a real
search for the truth. The outcome was preordained. My jaw dropped wide open. I
knew the fix was in. FBI Director Comey lied to the people with a straight
face. Why?
The chance meeting of Bill Clinton
and AG Loretta Lynch on the airport tarmac was no mere coincidence. This chat
was not about the grandkids. Bill Clinton was there to convey a specific
message to Lynch that there would be no indictment of Hillary. Hillary
Clinton's email case must tank. This would have constituted bribery, if AG Lynch was
assured she would continue as AG in Clinton Administration. This meeting
took place only weeks before Comey's press conference dumping Hillary Clinton's
email case.
The Deep State needed Hillary Clinton
to win the 2016 presidential election, or the dike holding back the truth would
burst. Trump, the disruptor, was an immediate threat to both the Republicans,
Democrats, and the Deep State. If the truth
were laid bare, it would expose the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, the
Senate and House, and many executive departments for these abuses of power,
corruption, bribery, frauds, and thefts of public funds.
High-level government officials and
the Deep State committed many serious felonies either in furtherance of or to
conceal the crimes committed in the pay to play scam. In
exchange for favorable consideration by Secretary Clinton, those who benefited
would donate to the Clinton Foundation. The FBI started and
stopped investigations into the Clinton Foundation at least twice as reported
by the Washington Post. Peter Schweizer's book, Clinton Cash, is the most damning. Dinesh D'Souza slammed the Foundation
in the National Review, as did The Federalist.
The status of the investigation of the Foundation by US
Attorney John Huber's is unknown. Rudy Giuliani said there was enough to
pursue "Clinton Inc" as racketeering
under RICO. The
Foundation and its affiliated nonprofits require a real investigation with an
in-depth forensic audit to determine where the money went. In financial crimes
investigation, the prime rule is "follow the money, honey." Illicit
nonprofits have many ways to divert funds by inflating salaries, expenses, and
money laundering.
Illegal nonprofit schemes are
difficult to prosecute without hard evidence and the testimony of insiders. The
motive of Hillary Clinton's use of the home brew server was to conceal emails
from FOIA requests that would provide the hard evidence. Hillary Clinton
destroyed the data on her server and cell phones with the knowledge of the FBI.
It took years for Judicial Watch and others to pry and recover
some of these damning emails from the foot-dragging executive departments that
were complicit and knew what was going on.
RICO initially was used to target mob
families. RICO is also a useful tool to fight white collar conspiracies. They
both have the same hierarchy of low-level crooks led by the top players, linked
together with a common purpose. RICO has tools to squeeze the low-level
operatives to gather evidence to prosecute, jail, and seize assets of the
conspirators. The critical element required is a pattern of criminal
or racketeering activity. This pattern is proved by showing two predicate
crimes were committed within ten years. The list of predicate crimes is extensive and includes
bribery, embezzlement, fraud, theft, money laundering, and obstruction of
justice. The typical five-year statute of limitations for most federal
felonies is extended to ten years from the last criminal act or acts committed
to conceal the conspiracy, i.e., lying under oath and similar actions to
obstruct justice. The prison sentences are steep. The effect is to cut off the
head of the organization and not just the low-level players.
The criminal activity extends back to
the ATF's Fast and Furious program through the House impeachment show trial to
cover up the illegal acts of the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, the
Department of State, the DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA. A telltale sign that
the DOJ under US Attorney General Barr is willing to play hardball and may use
RICO, came when he spoke to the Federalist Society: "Barr accuses liberal 'resistance' of
trying to 'sabotage' Trump." AG Barr said this, "shows FBI launched Trump campaign
investigation on the 'thinnest of suspicions." AG Barr is the new sheriff in town, he wears a
badge, has guns and will travel, can impanel grand juries, indict and arrest
people, and is not limited in his jurisdiction, like DOJ IG Horowitz.
The collective actions of the Deep
State are and were a silent coup to delegitimize a Presidential candidate. Once
elected to impede and resist the duly elected President. The President's law
enforcement and intel agencies were corrupted at the highest level and went
rogue.
Organized crime can't exist without
corrupt law enforcement. As I wrote in a letter to President Trump earlier this
year:
.
. . I believe you understand the gravity of the situation and of its importance
to the very survival of our Country as we know it. If the people involved are
not held accountable for their actions, we will be no different than some Third
World Banana Republic.
Failure
to act will destroy our founding principle of the Rule of Law as stated by
President John Adams, "We Are a Nation of Laws, Not of Men" and we
cannot allow a two-tiered justice system to prevail.

Soros-Linked
Group Gets Six GOP Governors to Resettle More Refugees
A pro-mass immigration organization
with links to billionaire George Soros has successfully lobbied six Republican
governors to resettle more refugees in their states.
For Fiscal Year 2020, President
Donald Trump will continue cutting refugee
admissions by reducing former President Barack Obama’s refugee inflow by at
least 80 percent. This reduction would mean a maximum of 18,000 refugees can be
resettled in the U.S. between October 1, 2019, and September 30,
2020. This is merely a numerical limit and not a goal federal officials are
supposed to reach.
Coupled with the refugee reduction,
Trump signed an executive
order that gives localities, counties, and states veto power over whether
they want to resettle refugees in their communities.
Executives at World Relief and the
Evangelical Immigration Table — an organization with links to the Soros-funded
National Immigration Forum — have been lobbying governors across the country to
bring more refugees to their states. So far, six Republican governors have
signed off to resettle refugees in their states, including North Dakota
Gov. Doug Burgum and Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey.
Jenny Yang, vice president for
advocacy at World Relief, an evangelical agency whose work includes
resettlement, has been steering an effort to lobby governors to keep
their states open to refugees. [Emphasis added]
She said about 16 governors
have submitted written consent, six of them Republicans. Gov. Doug Ducey,
Republican of Arizona, agreed after receiving a letter supporting resettlement
signed by 250 evangelical leaders. Gov. Greg Abbott, Republican of Texas,
who leads the state that received the most refugees last year, has not yet
offered his view, despite a plea from the mayor of Fort Worth to continue
accepting refugees. [Emphasis added]
Refugee contractors, like
the Lutheran Social Services organization, have deployed a campaign to get
mayors, local officials, and governors to admit more refugees to their states.
Those contractors’ budgets every year are reliant on ensuring that as many
refugees are resettled across the U.S. as possible.
It remains unclear which six
Republican governors, aside from Burgum and Ducey, have been successfully
lobbied by the Soros-linked group.
This week, the Evangelical
Immigration Table sent letters to the governors of California, Florida,
Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South
Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin to ask them to bring
refugees to their states.
The federally mandated refugee
resettlement program has brought more than 718,000 refugees to the U.S. since
January 2008 — a group larger than the entire state population of Wyoming,
which has 577,000 residents. In the last decade, about 73,000 refugees have
been resettled in California, 71,500 resettled in Texas, nearly 43,000
resettled in New York, and more than 36,000 resettled in Michigan.
Refugee resettlement costs American
taxpayers nearly $9 billion every five
years, according to the latest research. Over the course of five years, an
estimated 16 percent of all refugees admitted will need housing assistance paid
for by taxpayers.

George Soros: A New Kind
of Tyrant?
The
venomous careers of Hitler and Stalin provoked the study of totalitarian
regimes as the very epitome of evil, depriving their citizens of freedom and of
life itself. A state captured by a demagogue is considered a sure sign of
danger ahead -- hence the alleged justification by the Left for their hysteria
over “rabble rouser” Donald Trump’s election. Overlooked until more recently
are the unelected, bloated bureaucratic fiefdoms and regulatory encroachments
of both national and global government and non-governmental institutions, which
have created the opportunity for a sinister, large scale violation of political
power.
This
new abuse was foreshadowed in the career of FBI architect and director, the
corrupt J. Edgar Hoover. It has been notched up to a planetary level of
hyper-coordination by George Soros as preliminary to the installation of his
global Open Society. In this grandiose plan, state governments (specifically
the USA) will be reduced to the level of relay stations for a supranational,
Sauron-like centralization of power.
What
unites the totalitarian and the new tyrant are three personality
characteristics, proposed by Professor John D. Mayer in his 1993 article, “The Emotional Madness of the Dangerous Leader.” The first is
indifference. The tyrant is consumed by a single-minded, fanatical purpose and
has no regard for the suffering wreaked on others during its implementation.
The second is intolerance of those whose opinions differ, facilitated through
control of the media, secret and insider knowledge, revenge against anyone who
thwarts, and a paranoid mania to shut down all opposition. The third character
trait (the foundation of the previous two), is psychopathic grandiosity. The
power-abuser assumes a messianic pose of unifying society under a utopian plan
and persuading others to participate. The very intensity of the tyrant’s
narcissism is transferred to vulnerable supporters eliciting a narcotic rush of
enthusiasm.
What
is easily overlooked is that the sham scheme is not a political health remedy,
but a device for maintaining the megalomaniac’s sense of personal omnipotence.
In Soros’ own words, “Next to my fantasies about being God, I also have very
strong fantasies of being mad. In fact, my grandfather was actually paranoid.”
Soros seems disarming in his frankness. But delusions of grandeur preclude
self-knowledge, as Soros’ next statements reveal. “I have a lot of
madness in my family. So far I have escaped it.”
Soros
has spilled bucketloads of words proclaiming he is
“amoral,” “self-interested,” and that “normal rules do not apply” to him. “I am
unnatural. I am a sort of deux ex machina. I’m very comfortable with my public
persona, because it is the one I have created myself.” And this from the man
who controls politicians and bureaucrats like a boss giving dictation to his
secretary. This is the man who has perfected the subversion of governments, who
has robbed failing states, and lavishly endowed every organization and movement
destructive of traditional Western society, from abolishing the Electoral
College to abolishing life itself if it is in utero, drug-addicted, or senile. His ambition is without borders -- “The Soviet Empire is
now the Soros Empire.” “I’m the Pope’s boss now.” And so on, ad nauseum. Yet, like other
tyrants, he is untouchable. Those he has made richer and more powerful protect
him.
In
March 1933 the Germans voted. They could have voted for the moderate Center
Christian party. Instead they voted in Hitler. ‘Deplorable’ Americans
however confounded Soros by not voting for “What can we do for you, George?”
Hillary Clinton. Yet where are the congressional and Senate investigations
into Soros? Where is the RICO indictment? Governments have been bought. The
media has been bought. The Soros NGO empire operates an invasive, parasitic web
currently devouring the body politic of the USA and many other nations besides.
What
Trump’s election has revealed is the limitation of the Presidency in
withstanding the transfer of power to unelected, publicly unaccountable
bureaucrats, and venal politicians, more concerned with their benefices than
their constituents. That void has allowed Soros to install himself as de facto puppet-master. We require bureaucracy,
and we cannot prevent the existence of associations, but there is an
urgent need for reform by abolishing permanency in government and establishing
citizens’ tribunals of appeal against abuses of administrative power.
Recently
in an interview on his simpering NPR, Soros confessed he was unprepared for the populist
opposition to
his insurrectionary agenda. Let us continue our opposition. Let us demand Soros
be investigated and brought to justice as conditional for obtaining our
vote. Those with connection to him must be banned from public office, and his
assets frozen. Then his parasitical minions will shrivel, like leeches
desiccated by a pinch of salt. If not, although we may escape the mass
slaughter of the twentieth century, it will be at the cost of vassalage beneath
a tyrant like George Soros.

Republican alike, has become a kleptocracy approaching par with
third-world hell-holes. This is the way a great country is raided by

Biden Needs to Address Ukraine Accusations ‘Front and Center’

Flashback–Biden:
U.S. Needs More H-1B Foreign Workers for Corporations
JOHN BINDER

3:44
In 2013, then-Vice President Joe Biden
advocated for bringing more H-1B foreign visa workers to the United States to
compete against American graduates and professionals in high-paying science,
technology, and engineering jobs.
Biden
told attendees of the Export-Import Bank’s 2013 Annual Conference that not
only did the U.S. need to bring more H-1B foreign visa workers to the country
for corporations, but that foreign students graduating from American
universities should “literally” be given green cards to permanently stay in the
U.S.
Biden
said:
We
also think its essential to reform the immigration system. Every year … our
university system generates roughly 40,000 people with PhDs and master degrees
in areas of science and technology that we need and we make sure that they’re
promptly escorted back to their country. At the very same time, we’re
spending hundreds of millions of dollars on STEM education. It makes no
sense in my humble opinion. [Emphasis added]
Sending them back to their country denies them a visa even when they have a
job waiting for them. Instead of sending them home, we should be a
stamping a green card on their diploma as they walk across the stage.
Literally, I mean this literally, not figuratively, literally. If they have
a job here, they should be able to stay here. We should want them here.
[Emphasis added]
Ladies
and gentlemen, we’ve also proposed adding additional H-1B visas so that
American employers can hire the best and the brightest no matter where they
come from if they can’t be found here. [Emphasis added]
Every year, more than 100,000
foreign workers are brought to the U.S. on the H-1B visa and are allowed to
stay for up to six years. There are about 650,000 H-1B visa foreign workers in the U.S. at any given moment. Americans
are often laid off in the
process and forced to train their foreign replacements, as highlighted by Breitbart
News. Nearly 70 percent of all H-1B
visas are rewarded to Indian nationals.
More than 85,000 Americans annually
potentially lose their jobs to foreign labor through the H-1B visa
program. Oftentimes, importing a foreign worker on the H-1B visa is the
first step in a multinational corporations’ effort to outsource the American
job, as the foreign worker arrives in the U.S., is trained in the job, and then
is eventually sent back overseas with the job.
While Biden advocated for more labor
market competition against America’s professionals and graduates, foreign
workers have already crowded out Americans in the tech hub of Silicon Valley,
California.
“We have no voice in Washington,” said one
American mother and STEM worker who was replaced by an H-1B. “There are 500
lobbyists for Big Tech, for cheap labor via the H-1B, L-1, OPT, and H4 EAD
programs. Who wants to hear from us?”https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2019/05/05/americans-replaced-by-foreign-h-1bs-theres-no-shortage-of-u-s-workers/ … via @JxhnBinder

of U.S. Workers
Analysis conducted last year reveal
that 71 percent of tech workers in Silicon Valley are foreign-born, while the tech
industry in the San Francisco, Oakland, and Hayward area is made up of 50
percent foreign-born tech workers.
Last year, U.S. businesses and
corporations attempted to outsource nearly
420,000 American jobs to foreigners through the H-1B visa program — a number
that outpaces the population of Tampa, Florida.
As Breitbart
News previously reported, more than 2.7
million H-1B foreign workers have been approved to come to the U.S. to take
American jobs between 2007 and 2017. During that same period, businesses tried
to outsource almost 3.5 million American jobs to foreign workers instead of
hiring Americans.
About four million young Americans
enter the workforce each year, many looking for white-collar jobs in the STEM
fields. Those Americans’ prospects of finding work are crippled by the
country’s legal immigration process, which admits more than 1.5 million
immigrants and hundreds of thousands of foreign visa workers annually.

Watch–Josh Hawley Rips ‘Aristocratic Elite’ for Engineering U.S. Economy Against American Middle Class
JOHN BINDER
16 May 2019184
6:00
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) ripped what he called the country’s “new
aristocratic elite” for engineering the United States economy against the
American middle class.
For
his first major speech on the Senate floor, Hawley slammed the “big banks, big
tech, big multi-national corporations, along with their allies in the academy
and the media,” whom he said have created an economic structure in which they,
the well-connected, benefit while the American working and middle class
increasingly struggle to get ahead.
Hawley
said:
The chattering class often tells us that all of this—the jobs,
the despair, the loss of standing—is the result of forces beyond anyone’s
control. As if that’s an excuse to do nothing. But in fact,
it’s not true. [Emphasis added]
Today’s society benefits those who shaped it, and it has been
shaped not by working men and women, but by the new aristocratic elite. Big
banks, big tech, big multi-national corporations, along with their allies in
the academy and the media—these are the aristocrats of our age. They live
in the United States, but they consider themselves citizens of the
world. [Emphasis added]
They
operate businesses or run universities here, but their primary loyalty
is to their own agenda for a more unified, progressive—and profitable—global
order. These modern aristocrats often claim to be a meritocracy. And many
of them truly believe they are. What they don’t see, or won’t acknowledge, is
that the society they have built works mainly for themselves. They’ve
effectively run this country for decades. And their legacy is national division
and national decline. [Emphasis added]
Defending
the needs of the American middle class against a growingly powerful
“aristocratic elite” is the “crisis of our time,” Hawley asserted.
“After
years of sacrifice, the great American middle is being pushed aside by a new,
arrogant aristocracy,” Hawley said. “The new aristocrats seek to remake society
in their own image: to engineer an economy that works for the elite but few
else, to fashion a culture that is dominated by their own preferences.”
“This
town has embraced a politics of elite values and elite ambition rather than
building opportunities to thrive in the great and broad American middle. This
has left middle America—the great American middle class—under siege: battling
the loss of respect and work, the decline of home and family, an epidemic of
loneliness and despair,” Hawley continued. “This is the crisis of our time.”
Specifically,
Hawley blasted multinational corporations for outsourcing American middle class
jobs overseas — wreaking economic, cultural, and social havoc on rural and
small town American communities in the process — and both political
establishments for treating American citizens as mere consumers.
“In
places like the one where I grew up, in middle Missouri, good-paying jobs that
you can raise a family on are going away,” Hawley said. “The jobs go overseas
or south of the border or to cities on the coasts. And once-vibrant towns
decline, taking with them the network of schools and neighborhoods and churches
that make up middle class life.”
Hawley
continued:
Rural
America has been particularly hard hit. Rural Americans’ life
expectancy has not just leveled off, its actually dropped, and for women without
a high school degree, that drop has been staggering. In some rural places,
residents struggle with outright deprivation. [Emphasis added]
My home state contains some of the poorest counties in America,
all in rural places that once boasted thriving small towns. As those
communities struggle, want sets in. But the crisis reaches well beyond
economics. [Emphasis added]
The message that Washington has sent our whole society is loud
and clear: our elites are the people who matter—and those
who aspire to join them. Everyone else is unimportant or backwards.
And millions of Americans are left with the sense that the people who
run this country view them with nothing but contempt and value them as nothing
but consumers. [Emphasis added]
Indeed,
working and middle class Americans have been hit the hardest from decades-long
political consensus between the Republican establishment and Democrats.
Recent research revealed that while coastal, elite metropolis cities have flourished in the last decade, small town and rural American communities have suffered depopulation, mass job loss, and continued economic strain since the Great Recession.
For
instance, by 2016, elite zip codes had a surplus of 3.6 million jobs,
which is more than the combined bottom 80 percent of American zip codes. While
it only took about five years for wealthy cities to replace the jobs lost by
the recession, it took “at risk” regions of the country a decade to recover,
and “distressed” U.S. communities are “unlikely ever to recover on current
trendlines,” the report predicts.
Economic
growth among the country’s middle-class counties and middle-class zip codes has
considerably trailed national economic growth. For example, between 2012 and
2016, there were 4.4 percent more business establishments in the country as a
whole. That growth was less than two percent in the median zip code and there
was close to no growth in the median county.
While America’s working and middle class have been subjected to
compete for jobs against a constant flow of cheaper foreign workers — where
more than 1.2 million mostly low-skilled immigrants are admitted to the country
annually — the billionaire class has experienced historic salary gains.
A
study by the Economic Policy Institute found that the country’s
top 0.01 percent have enjoyed more than 15 times as much
wage growth as the bottom 90 percent of wage earners. Between 1979 and 2017,
working and middle class Americans’ wages grew by only 22 percent. On the other
hand, the plutocrat class saw their salaries grow by more than 155 percent over
the same period.
Likewise,
free trade deals like NAFTA — supported by Republicans and Democrats — as well
as China’s entering the World Trade Organization (WTO) has eliminated nearly
five million American manufacturing jobs across the country,
devastating steel towns and U.S. autoworkers. One former steel town in
West Virginia lost 94
percent of its steel jobs because of NAFTA, with nearly 10,000 workers in
the town being displaced from the steel industry.

$800,000.00 in March of 2009!
The “zero tolerance” program was dismantled by Attorney General
Erc Holder once it had successfully cut the transit of migrants by
roughly 95 percent. Initially, officials made 140,000 arrests per year in the
mid-2000s, but the northward flow dropped so much that officials only had to
make 6,000 arrests in 2013, according to a 2014 letter by two
pro-migration Senators, Sen. Jeff Flake and John McCain.
“The cost of the Dream Act is far bigger than the
Democrats or their media allies admit. Instead of covering 690,000 younger
illegals now enrolled in former President Barack Obama’s 2012 “DACA” amnesty,
the Dream Act would legalize at least 3.3 million illegals,
according to a pro-immigration group, the Migration Policy Institute.”

‘Middle Class Way of Life’

President George H.W. Bush’s plan for a “New World Order” with global
integration of the United States’ economy has made the ruling class richer
while eroding “the middle class way of life” in America, Sen. Josh Hawley
(R-MO) says.
In an interview on The Realignment podcast,
Hawley described how the
long-held push by both political establishments to massively globalize the
American economy has been at the expense of U.S. workers while the ruling class
and their allies in the donor class have profited.
Hawley said:
If I have to give you a sense of the
kind of vision that I think voters rejected, President Bush … gave a
speech to Congress in 1990 where he talked about a ‘New World Order,’ and
he was saying this of the situation in the context with Iraq, but he
talked broadly about a ‘New global liberal order’ that of course America would
lead, that it would involve America making the world much more like America and
the rest of the world kind of blending in with America … and
there wouldn’t be the need for hard borders any longer, and we’d have free
trade, and we’d have great multinational cooperation, and we’d have
these multinational corporations that can do business in any country, and it
would be a whole new era. [Emphasis added]
Well, as it turns out —
first of all, China and Russia didn’t get the memo on that — secondly, as it
turns out, that ‘New World Order’ wasn’t good for American workers. And as
it turned out, it didn’t protect American middle class values. As
it turned out, it undermined the middle class way of life.
[Emphasis added]
Hawley said the ruling class is
primarily a “small group of people” from a “fairly narrow band of colleges and graduate
schools” who largely agree on the most challenging issues facing the nation and
oppose the traditionalism of middle American communities.
“They also tend to be the winners of
this global integration. George Bush’s ‘New World Order,’ the people who have
been in charge of the parties who run the media, who hold commanding heights in
our culture; they win from that agreement,” Hawley said of the ruling class.
“They’re doing great; they are the wealthy in our society. They are the ones
who are globally integrated and global facing.”
Hawley continued:
They also tend to be skeptical of
places like Missouri and of things like home and community. So they say that
they value those things, but you listen to somebody … and somebody says, “I’m
not going to move from this small town even though I’m having trouble finding a
job because my family is here and because this is where we’ve lived for
generations and this is where my friends are and I want to make a life here.” A
lot of D.C. elites in both parties listen to that and they’re like, “That’s
crazy.”
As Breitbart News has chronicled, free trade has
helped gut working and middle class American jobs and stripped whole middle
American towns of their industries and livelihoods.
Since the North American Free Trade
Agreement (NAFTA) was signed and China was allowed to enter the World Trade
Organization (WTO), five million American
manufacturing jobs and more than 50,000 manufacturing facilities have been
eliminated from the U.S. economy. This mass elimination of jobs due to
free trade has coincided with an almost 600 percent increase in trade deficits.
In recent years, the economic
recovery from the Great Recession disproportionately benefitted elite zip
codes. For example, by 2016, elite zip codes had a surplus of 3.6 million
jobs, which is more than the combined bottom 80 percent of American zip codes.
While populations have grown in major cities where the wealthiest of Americans
live, rural communities have continued to shrink.

Bloomberg: Employers Should Hire ‘the Best’ Foreigners Instead of Americans
7 Jan 20203,560
8:22
Investor,
CEO, and presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg says he would allow investors
and employers to hire the “the best” workers from around the world instead of Americans.
“This country
needs more immigrants and we should be out looking for immigrants,”
Bloomberg told the San Diego Union-Tribune on
January 5.:
For those who need an oboe player for a symphony, we want the
best one. We need a striker for a soccer team, we want to get the best one. We
want a farmworker, we want to get the best one. A computer programmer, we want
to get the best one. So we should be out looking for more immigrants.
The reporter did not ask Bloomberg to define “best.” But for
cost-conscious shareholders and executives, “best” is a synonym for ‘cheaper
than Americans.’
“If business were able to hire without restrictions from
anywhere in the world, pretty much every [American’s] occupation would be
foreignized,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration
Studies. He continued:
Americans would have to accept dramatically lower earnings,
whether they object or not. Not just landscapers and tomato pickers, [because]
Indians and Chinese by the millions can do nursing and accounting. There would
not be any job that would not see its earnings fall to the global average.
Bloomberg — who has an estimated wealth of $55 billion — is
trying to exempt investors and shareholders from the nation’s immigration
rules, said Krikorian. For Bloomberg, “immigration laws are not one of those
things that should be allowed to interfere in [the growth of] shareholders’
value,” he said.
“It is obviously unprecedented — but this is not obviously
different from [President] George [W.] Bush’s ideal immigration plan … [and] he
is expressing a pretty standard Republican plutocrat approach to
immigration,” he added.
Out of common sense and fairness, our laws should allow willing
workers to enter our country and fill jobs that Americans have are not filling.
(Applause.) We must make our immigration laws more rational, and more humane.
And I believe we can do so without jeopardizing the livelihoods of American
citizens.
Our reforms should be guided by a few basic principles. First,
America must control its borders …
Second, new immigration laws should serve the economic needs of
our country. If an American employer is offering a job that American citizens
are not willing to take, we ought to welcome into our country a person who will
fill that job.
In December
2018, departing House Speaker Paul Ryan echoed Bush’s “any willing
worker” goal, saying:
[Immigration reform needs] border security and interior
enforcement for starters, but also a modernization of our visa system so that
it makes sense for our economy and for our people so that anyone who wants to
play by the rules, work hard and be part of American fabric can contribute.
This “any
willing worker” idea encouraged Ryan to work
closely —
but behind the scenes — with pro-amnesty, pro-migration groups.
Many GOP legislators echo this “any willing worker” claim when
they declare a “‘legal good, illegal bad,’ approach to migration,” said Krikorian.
That mantra is “piously claiming that illegal immigration is bad, but is making
[pro-American protections] moot by letting huge numbers of people in legally.”
In contrast, President Donald Trump won his 2016 election on a
promise to shrink immigration. Since then, he has forced down illegal migration
via Mexico and has largely blocked numerous efforts by business to expand the
huge inflow of legal immigrants and visa workers. Trump’s curbs on the supply
of foreign labor have helped to force up wages for blue-collar Americans —
despite determined efforts by business and investment groups to prevent wage
increases.
Almost 50% of U.S. employees got higher
wages in 2019, up from almost 40% in 2018.
That's useful progress - but wage growth will likely rise faster if Congress stopped inflating the labor supply for the benefit of business. http://bit.ly/2SyaLg7

Pay Raises and Training Expand in Donald Trump's Tight
Labor Market
Bloomberg’s “best worker” pitch is not a problem for the
Democrats’ 2020 base of “woke” progressives, said Krikorian:
He is running in the Democratic primary and there is an overlap
between the plutocrat assault on national borders and the leftist assault on
national borders. They come at the issue from the different starting points but
they have the same enemy, which is Americans’ sovereignty. It is not obvious
that his [pro-employer] immigration stance is going to be a turn-off to
Democratic primary votes.. How different are the specifics of his immigration
proposal from [Joe] Biden, Sen. [Bernie] Sanders or [Sen. Elizabeth] Warren?
Biden,
Sanders, and Warren endorse wide-open borders as a form of charity towards
unlucky foreigners fleeing from home country persecution. For example,
a January 5 tweet from Biden said:
Our Statue of Liberty invites in the tired, the poor, the
huddled masses yearning to breathe free. Donald Trump has slammed the door in
the face of families fleeing persecution and violence.
Bloomberg’s pro-employer view is coherent and likely sincere,
said Krikorian.
Bloomberg aspires to a single global labor market, and
everything else follows from that. A concern about improving the lot of
less-skilled American workers is by definition contrary to that view because
there is no such thing as an American labor market. There is only a global
labor market. Domestic employers are not thinking about the consequences for
people from Pennsylvania when they hire people from Tennessee, and Bloomberg
wants that same approach across the entire world.
There is even an altruistic way of viewing that — which I
assume guys like this have — that it improves the lot of Hondurans [and other
migrants] who are coming here.
The issue is not that Bloomberg and his guys are factually
incorrect. It is that their values are contrary to the values that most
Americans hold – which is that we have a greater loyalty and obligation to our
fellow countrymen than to foreigners. Guys like Bloomberg reject that
[obligation] in principle.
A Rasmussen survey shows likely voters by
2:1 want Congress to make companies hire & train US grads & workers
instead of importing more foreign workers.
The survey also shows this $/class-based view co-exists w/ much sympathy for illegal migrants. #S386http://bit.ly/2ZA6WIE

Rasmussen Shows 2:1 Opposition to Cheap Labor Legal
Immigration
But Bloomberg also wraps his economic demand for more immigrants
in a progressive-style cultural message.
Bloomberg
told the San Diego
Union-Tribune that amnesty “is a no-brainer — you give [a]
pathway to citizenship to 11 million people.”
In December,
Bloomberg said additional immigrants
could “improve our culture, our cuisine, our religion, our dialogue, and
certainly improve our economy” — but without being asked by reporters which
American cultures, cuisines, religions, and dialogues do not meet his
standards.
Bloomberg also echoes the Democrats’ claim that the U.S is a
diverse “nation of immigrants,” instead of a country built by similar-minded
settlers from Europe. “This country was built by immigrants,” Bloomberg said,
without noting the role played by Americans and their children.
Bloomberg has
long supported greater immigration. In 2013, he joined with the owner of Fox
News, Rupert Murdoch, to create the Project for a New American Economy. The
group of investors and politicians then pushed for passage of the
failed Gang of Eight amnesty in 2013.
The
Congressional Budget Office (CBO) predicted the planned “Gang of
Eight” amnesty would shift more of the nation’s new wealth from workers to
investors.
The flood of
roughly 30 million immigrants in ten years would cause Americans’ wages to
shrink, the report said. “Because the bill would increase the rate of growth of
the labor force, average wages would be held down in the first decade after
enactment,” the CBO report said.
But all that cheap labor would boost the profits and the stock
market, the report said. “The rate of return on capital would be higher [than
on labor] under the legislation than under current law throughout the next two
decades,” says the report, titled “The Economic Impact of S. 744.”
For
Bloomberg, Krikorian said, U.S. “employers have no greater obligation to fellow
Americans than to Hondurans [or other foreign workers] … what Bloomberg is
saying is that immigration laws should not interfere with the pursuit of
shareholder value [because] employers can hire anyone from anywhere at any
wage, period.”

We
Don't Want Globalist Government
And when
I say "we," I don't just mean conservatives or even Americans.
I mean
most people around the world.
It's
arguable that much of the conflict we see across the planet is attributable to
the efforts of a handful of people to foist their worldview on everyone else,
and the "everyone elses" starting to push back.
Hong
Kong's citizens are resisting efforts by the Chinese Communist government to
take away the rights and freedoms they enjoyed while Hong Kong was a British
possession. (Interestingly, the Google search "Hong Kong protests
violent" produces article after article criticizing the violence of the
protesters -- not the police -- shaming Hong Kong's citizens for not using
peaceful demonstrations, and reporting "splits" and disagreements
among the protestors about the best ways to achieve their aims. The articles
read like Chinese communist propaganda.)
The
fractures in Europe are just as serious.
In
France, for more than a year the "gilet jaunes" have been violently
protesting increases on fuel and heating taxes imposed by the Macron government
allegedly in pursuit of global environmental objectives.
In Spain,
the Catalan independence movement has produced violent protests, which The
Nation magazine describes as also motivated by "growing restrictions on
the right to protest and freedom of expression, as well as the judicialization
of politics and the politicization of the judiciary."
Other
European countries, including Germany, Austria, Sweden, Greece and Belgium have
been rocked by protests against the "open borders" migration policy
pushed by the European Union. In many cases, those protests have resulted in
dramatic shifts in the control of parliamentary governments (Hungary, France,
Italy, Austria) -- and portend changes in representation at the EU as well.
And then
there's Brexit -- Great Britain's exit from the European Union -- which still
hasn't happened and continues to roil British and European politics.
People
want to be free to live their lives, and -- for the most part -- to be left
alone to care for their families, educate their children, perform their job
responsibilities and go about the business of their daily lives. They don't
want to be cogs in a globalist wheel, told what to do by some distant faceless
government bureaucrat enforcing regulations enacted to achieve policy goals
grounded in questionable "facts."
That
viewpoint is anathema to the globalists among us.
Globalists
think that the answer to every human problem lies in government -- and the
bigger the government, the better. Why stop at federal legislation and federal
courts when you can push for international legislation and international
courts? Not only does this remove the Average Joe's control over his own life
but also it creates the potential for so much delicious power.
Here in
our own country, Hillary Clinton is Exhibit A.
Take
for example, the Clinton Foundation, and the millions of dollars Clinton and
her husband collected from foreign nations while she was secretary of state. But further evidence is that Clinton
cannot let go of 2016. She cannot bear the loss, not only because of her
immense ego but because She. Had. Big. Plans. Far bigger plans than her
relatively easygoing husband ever did. Clinton is a globalist to the marrow of
her bones. People were distressed that Clinton had a stranglehold on the
Democratic National Committee in 2016? That was penny ante poker, folks.
President Hillary Clinton would be the best friend of the U.N. and the EU and
the International Court of Justice. In Clinton's worldview, only a handful of
people are brilliant enough to rule the world -- she's one of them. If the
"little people" dare to want to run their own lives, they're
"deplorables." And as the Tulsi Gabbard kerfuffle demonstrates,
anyone who poses a threat to Hillary's hegemony will incur her wrath.
Across
the Twitterverse, some conservatives are aghast that Tulsi Gabbard has garnered
so much support from the right, warning that it's part of a larger conspiracy
to shoehorn Hillary Clinton into the Democratic nomination again in 2020. That
strikes me as unlikely. Whether Gabbard intended it or not, her vicious (and
deserved) criticism of Clinton sounded like something that could have been said
not by Vladimir Putin or Bashar Assad, but by President Donald Trump and the 63
million people who voted for him.
In one of
her recent videos, Gabbard says: "If they can falsely portray me as a traitor,
then they can do it to anyone -- and in fact, that's exactly the message they
want to get across to you. If you stand up to Hillary and the party power
brokers -- if you stand up to the rich and powerful elite and the war machine,
they will destroy you and discredit your message. But here is the truth: They
will not intimidate us. They will not silence us."
When
you're a little-known candidate whose chances for the Democratic nomination are
viewed as somewhere between slim and none, all you get are slanderous smears by
Hillary Clinton, which the press is willing to repeat and even try to justify.
But when
you're the president of the United States whose chances for the Republican
nomination -- much less the election -- were viewed as somewhere between slim
and none -- and you beat the odds, you get slanderous smears dutifully
disseminated by the press PLUS the full force of your predecessor's FBI, CIA,
Justice Department and the rest of the "deep state" actors intending
to take you down.
Trump
isn't interested in having America run by the United Nations or the European
Union.
For the
globalists here and abroad, that is
a declaration of war.
