EXCLUSIVE: Identity theft, Ashley Madison scandal, stripper baby mama, sleeping with brother's widow, quickie marriage and now an email bombshell: How Hunter's past continues to haunt him - and threatens to ruin Joe's WH run
- Joe Biden's son Hunter has been caught in a string of scandals over the years that might finally catch up to the 50-year-old and hit Joe's presidential run
- On Wednesday, a trove of emails obtained from Hunter's laptop showed Hunter making an effort to introduce his father to an adviser at his Ukrainian gas firm
- The computer potentially contains documents concerning Hunter's life from 2014 - the year he was discharged from the Navy for testing positive for cocaine
- In 2015, following his older brother Beau's death, Hunter moved out of the home he shared with his wife Kathleen due to his drinking
- That same year, hackers broke into the data of affair dating site Ashley Madison and among the names discovered were Robert Biden — Hunter is his second name
- Though Hunter initially denied it was him, it was the final blow for his long-suffering wife and the couple formally separated after 22 years of marriage
- He later started dating Beau's widow Hallie - while his divorce was still ongoing
- In 2016, Hunter returned a rental car, leaving behind a wallet containing Beau's old attorney general badge and a glass pipe — which tested positive for cocaine
- There was also a bag of white powder found inside the car, which was littered with a 'white powdery substance'
- In April 2019 it was announced Hunter and Hallie had suddenly split, and it was later revealed he had gotten stripper Lunden Roberts pregnant
- Months later, Hunter married Melissa Cohen, who he had only known a few days
That Joe Biden was receiving half of Hunter's contracts. Guiliani presents a text message, allegedly from Hunter Biden to Naomi Biden, his daughter. In the text, Hunter says that he has been paying for everything for 30 years and it has been tough, but that he won't take 50% of her salary as "Pop" did.
Biden campaign, MSM, and social media oligarchs all are signaling voters that Joe Biden's pay-for-play scandal with Hunter as bagman is a BFD
The surest way to convince people that they ought to pay attention to something is to tell them they shouldn't be allowed to see it. About a century ago, when Boston had a municipal movie censor, producers vied to be "banned in Boston" as a way of convincing the public to flock to their flicks. This century's version of the same lesson is called "the Streisand effect," after the singer drew attention to her lavish seaside estate in California by attempting to suppress aerial pictures taken of it.
Nobody ever said Joe Biden was a quick learner.
The Biden campaign has already badly blundered in its handling of the scandal unearthed when a computer repair store took legal ownership of a MacBook left with it more than 90 days and discovered thousands of emails as well as images and videos, some of them pornographic, showing Hunter Biden. The store owner turned the laptop over to the FBI late last year, which has taken no public action and, out of frustration with the story being buried, released a copy of the hard drive to Rudy Giuliani, through an intermediary.
From Rudy to the New York Post, the story is finally becoming public through stories yesterday and today in the Gotham tabloid with a national following online. Twitter has gone full Pravda, censoring distribution of yesterday's story, adding a "banned in cyberspace" label to a tale of a Ukrainian official of Bursima thanking Hunter for arranging a meeting his father, the vice president. Joe Biden had previously adamantly denied that he knew anything about his son's business dealings. Today's Post story is just breaking but cannot be distributed via Twitter because the Post's account is suspended, as well as that of the White House press secretary. Its revelations are very damaging to the Bidens:
Hunter Biden pursued lucrative deals involving China's largest private energy company — including one that he said would be "interesting for me and my family," emails obtained by The Post show.
One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line "Expectations," included details of "remuneration packages" for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.
Biden was identified as "Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC," an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.
His pay was pegged at "850" and the email also noted that "Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate."
In addition, the email outlined a "provisional agreement" under which 80 percent of the "equity," or shares in the new company, would be split equally among four people whose initials correspond to the sender and three recipients, with "H" apparently referring to Biden.
The deal also listed "10 Jim" and "10 held by H for the big guy?"
Neither Jim nor the "big guy" was identified further.
Who, other than the V.P., could be the "big guy"?
The campaign has not contested the authenticity of the emails. Given the claim that there are pictures of Hunter smoking crack and having sex with an unidentified female (apparently not his baby mama former stripper), contesting the authenticity could well lead to release of those pictures. But the campaign stupidly tried to get tricky with a "non-denial denial," claiming that the meeting with the Burisma official was not on Biden's official schedule. As if shady meetings on a pay-for-play basis would ever be officially noted.
And as Peter Schweizer's investigation showed, on the dates when the meeting could have taken place, there was ample time for other meetings. Moreover, there are other instances of Biden's meetings not being noted on his official schedule. Mark Levin aptly drew comparison to the most damning feature of President Nixon's handling of his own Watergate scandal:
Remember the 18-minute gap on the Nixon tapes during Watergate? Well, we may have a 3-hour gap in Biden's schedule on the day he is alleged to have met with the Burisma executive. (H/T Julie Levin)
— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) October 14, 2020
The Alphabet networks followed the lead of Twitter and had not one second of coverage of the scandal on their evening newscasts yesterday. Facebook has taken a slightly less thorough approach to censorship by allowing posts but limiting their distribution, what was called during the Watergate scandal the "modified limited hangout" strategy. (It backfired then.)
Tonight, ABC will host a town hall discussion with ex-V.P. Biden that will serve as a test of its integrity. Will it try to pretend that the scandal is a non-event? George Stephanopoulos, a former Clinton administration official, has his reputation on the line. Meanwhile, on NBC, President Trump is certain to hammer the scandal in a town hall broadcast at the same time.
Last night in Des Moines, President Trump was adamant on the scandal:
Perhaps the most explosive element of the scandal is yet to break wide open. Via RedState:
Rudy Giuliani took to YouTube to lay out the case for a new accusation:
That Joe Biden was receiving half of Hunter's contracts.
Guiliani presents a text message, allegedly from Hunter Biden to Naomi Biden, his daughter. In the text, Hunter says that he has been paying for everything for 30 years and it has been tough, but that he won't take 50% of her salary as "Pop" did.
"I love you all but I don't receive any respect and that's fine I guess. Works for you apparently. I hope you all can do what I did, and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It's really hard but don't worry, unlike Pop, I won't make you give me half your salary."
Also in the video, Biden describes contracts that his brother James, who was woefully unqualified, received simply because of his association with Biden as Vice President. Biden also allegedly used his influence to help James' wife, Sara.
If these texts are accurate and mean what they seem to mean at first look, then Hunter was acting as a bagman for bribes paid to his father.
It doesn't get any more scandalous than a drug-addicted, skank-banging adult child acting a bagman for a vice president who is his father.
Unless, that is, the president of the United States is also involved.
So Joe Biden lied to us all along about knowing nothing of Hunter's influence-peddling
Joe Biden's corrupt, debauched, coke-addled son Hunter has been found to have sold access to his dad's office for tens of thousands of dollars. That's the obvious conclusion from a trove of emails with his name on them, showing him driving a hard bargain his his pay to play game, making sure he got paid up front. And Vice President Joe Biden, who's now running for president? He's been caught red handed, lying to us about not knowing a thing.
Because sure enough an abandoned computer has turned up, according to the New York Post, loaded with Hunter's emails, showing him promising to give corrupt Ukrainian oligarchs access to Joe for a price.
According to the Post:
The never-before-revealed meeting is mentioned in a message of appreciation that Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Burisma, allegedly sent Hunter Biden on April 17, 2015, about a year after Hunter joined the Burisma board at a reported salary of up to $50,000 a month.
“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.
An earlier email from May 2014 also shows Pozharskyi, reportedly Burisma’s No. 3 exec, asking Hunter for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf.
The blockbuster correspondence — which flies in the face of Joe Biden’s claim that he’s “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” — is contained in a massive trove of data recovered from a laptop computer.
The emails were discovered in a way that was about par for Hunter's character: Hunter apparently turned in his Apple MacBook Pro in to a repair shop in 2019, and then ran out on his tab, not bothering to pick the computer up after the technicians did the work, leaving the store in hock. The store owner tried to contact him, got ghosted, and then poked around, finding all kinds of evidence of political and personal sleaze on the device. Then he turned the matter over to the lawmen, but kept a copy of a hard drive, which the Post obtained.
Speaking of sleaze, there was also this:
Other material extracted from the computer includes a raunchy, 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, who’s admitted struggling with addiction problems, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman, as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.
Which rather suggests that the Russians or any number of bad actors might just have copies of the same, known in their world as Kompromat. That would allow them to squeeze Hunter, and quite possibly old Joe for whatever they wanted, just to keep the scuzzy reality from getting out.
Joe Biden, though, is the one who ought to be on the hottest of the hot seats: He's insisted for years that his son Hunter "did nothing wrong" and in any case, he never discussed business with Shakedown Junior, who often accompanied his dad on his foreign travels, following him around almost as if he black bag was outstretched.
The Post has that angle in this separate article here:
In the email, Hunter Biden wrote to Archer, “We need to ask for long term agreement and across the board participation. This is a huge step for us that could easily become very complicated. And if we are not protected financially regardless of the outcome we could find ourselves frozen out of a lot of current and future opportunities.
“The contract should begin now- not after the upcoming visit of my guy.
“That should include a retainer in the range of 25k p/m w/ additional fees where appropriate for more in depth work to go to BSF for our protection. Complete separate from our respective deals re board participation.”
And it turns out Joe knew all about it, as the Post reporting describes.
Which would also explain why Biden gets so touchy whenever the matter is brought up. The last person who brought it up directly with him was called: 'Hey, fat!' and challenged to a push-up contest.
Why this one should be let go, just as the coup attempt against President Trump has been allowed to go, and the pay to play corruption at the Clinton Foundation is quite a guess. But at some point this has to stop, and Hunter appears to be as good a place as any. Hunter sold the U.S. down the river for his own personal profit. And the Mister Big protecting him was none other than Joe Biden. It's time to roll this raw corruption up, starting with exposing Joe's lies and forcing to answer some questions.
Joe Biden, the corrupt, unaccomplished 47-year career politician, with a reputation of having been a proud segregationist, an unabashed plagiarist and liar, a resolute tale-teller, and a serial flip-flopper, is pretending to head up a radical social-democratic ticket for President of the United States that includes as his running mate the ambitious, disagreeable junior senator from California: Kamala Harris.
Biden's Titanic ending
The declinin' Biden saga is almost difficult to watch.
Almost, I say, because his aimless, buffoonish presence during the Obama years should have been enough to disqualify him from running for the country's highest office to begin with. That and the fact that he has no real convictions other than those mandated to him by the far left.
Now, with only a few weeks left of the most significant election campaign in our country's history, he appears ever more confused and tired during poorly planned stops with a only a few planted supporters visible. In fact, there appear to be more Trump fans at his meager rallies than his own followers. Poor Joe can't even count on his running mate to pick up some slack. She's holed up in some office with an RBG children's book and two enormous American flags. Watching Biden is like watching the movie Titanic. You know what the ending is going to be, but you cannot look away from the devastation happening just before the ship's last horrifying plunge.

Joe Biden: Unfit for Office
Never in American history has a major political party nominated two candidates for president and vice-president who are so manifestly unfit for the elective offices they seek.
Biden, Obama’s vice-presidential lackey for eight years (a period of unprecedented corruption and personal enrichment for both men), has always craved power and attention. But unfortunately for Joe, his mouth, hands, and nose have consistently undermined his presidential ambitions.
This year, courtesy of an international pandemic, unprecedented social unrest, an obsequious leftist media, and the customary DNC shenanigans, Biden miraculously emerged from the basement as the last Democrat candidate standing -- figuratively speaking, of course.
Touted as the most acceptable contender in a general election, the ever-manipulative DNC, with assists from Majority Whip James Clyburn, foisted the 77-year old empty suit on the Democrat voters, despite an interminable career of incompetence and uncontrollable pervy conduct around women and young girls, including a credible allegation of sexual assault.
Joe Biden is the DNC’s so-called “empathy candidate,” and “restorer of America’s soul.” Uncle Joe -- the perpetual advocate of blue-collar, lunch-bucket workers, friend of the common man, and supposed champion of every solution destined to restore calm to the country and dignity to the White House -- is the candidate that cares about you. Not like the brash, egotistical, illegitimate, and unrefined President Trump.
And yet, despite a lethargic, uninspiring campaign, and a shocking dearth of mental competence and physical vivacity on Joe’s part, Biden stands incredibly today, at the pinnacle of his political career; anointed as the Democrat Party’s nominee for president, despite two prior, failed attempts, including one in the last century.
Joe’s good fortune, however, is based on a lie; a political mythology, as it were, deviously by the elite power brokers, that Joe was, and still is, a moderate and is therefore, the most electable Democrat out there. It cannot be based on the candidate’s unifying, optimistic, and patriotic vision for the future, because there is none. There are no reasonable, practical, and substantive ideas being proffered regarding freedom, liberty, prosperity, and security for the American people. On the contrary, the Harris-Biden candidacy is distinguished by a dark, overtly divisive, and destructive agenda, masked most days by shameless untruths and unrelenting criticism of President Trump. So much for empathy and unity.
In his effort to bamboozle the American voter, Biden has effectively embraced the anti-American, Marxist policies of Obama, Sanders, and Ocasio-Cortez while still pretending to be a moderate. The treasonous fake news media and propaganda arm of the DNC have enthusiastically aided and abetted Biden as they shamelessly promote the centrist lie.
Sadly, this dishonest and extremely corrosive strategy, if successful, will only serve to hasten the destruction of the America as we know it. Socialist-Marxist policies implemented by a radical Harris-Biden administration will undoubtedly diminish our freedoms, our liberty, threaten our security, and severely impact our daily pursuit of happiness and prosperity. We would be on the fast-track to Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America.
It’s not the radical, anti-American policies that make Joe Biden unfit for office, however. Rather it is the indisputable fact that Joe is not all there. Joe Biden is a hollow man. He is incredibly low energy, with obviously declining faculties. Joe Biden is physically and mentally incapable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the most difficult job in the world. Joe Biden does not have the cognitive abilities to string coherent sentences together without the use of notes or teleprompter, let alone make critical decisions. Physically and mentally, Biden is a shell of his former self.
The prospect of a 78-year-old man of such diminished capacities in the White House is terrifying, to say the least. Coupled with his unprincipled embrace of hard-left policies, a Biden presidency would pose an unprecedented danger to the country. A President Biden on the national and international stage would be an embarrassment to America and would confer way too much power and influence on Barack Obama and Valerie Jarrett (Obama’s brain), and the ambitious, “harpy in waiting,” Kamala Harris.
There can be no doubt, that a President Joe Biden would merely be a figurehead. A dithering and doddering Biden will be allowed to masquerade as POTUS until such time as the puppeteers find it expedient to wheel Joe and his security blanket out the White House door, replaced by Kamala Harris. Harris in fact, has publicly and accurately stated that the correct designation, is in fact, the “Harris-Biden ticket.” Kamala knows the plan, and apparently Joe is okay with his “second fiddle” status as he has recently confirmed the reality of a Harris-Biden ticket. The truth is that the Harris -Biden campaign is nothing more than a cynical manipulation of public opinion, with Biden being the empty vessel by which power is attained.
Down Goes Biden
By David Keltz
Has there ever been a presidential nominee who looked more overmatched by his opponent? Contrary to what the pundits in the mainstream media would have you believe, President Donald Trump obliterated Joe Biden in the presidential debate on Tuesday night, and it really was not even close. This was an Ali-Liston fight without a first round phantom punch. For 90 minutes, the president landed one body blow after another, leaving the former vice-president reeling with his back against the ropes, only to be rescued by Chris Wallace, the debate “moderator,” who repeatedly made the president return to his neutral corner by silencing him. Spare me the “Trump did not act presidential” hogwash. Considering that Biden received a pass for referring to Trump as the “worst president” the country ever had, called him a “clown” and a “racist,” and told him to “shut up,” the national media has zero credibility lecturing Trump about presidential decorum.
Trump’s winning strategy was clear from the start. He forced Biden to either embrace the radical left wing of his party or disavow it. Whichever answer Biden provided would be a losing proposition for him. Embracing the far left would provide Trump the opportunity to paint him as a socialist who supports the Bernie Sanders/Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez agenda. Disavowing the radical left would cause Biden to lose support from the extreme wing of his party. Biden chose the latter, further playing right into Trump’s hands. “You agreed with Bernie’s manifesto,” Trump said. “There is no manifesto,” Biden responded. “You just lost the left,” an elated Trump said. Checkmate.
Not a single person who watched the debate in its entirety can say with any degree of intellectual integrity that Biden looked like someone ready to become the next commander in chief. From start to finish, Trump appeared much more energetic, and was sharp, confident, and strong. Biden appeared haggard, old, frail, and weak. The president spoke extemporaneously, while Biden continuously looked down at his notes. At times he resembled a once mediocre method actor auditioning for a play, unable to remember what his lines were on the script he was holding in front of him. “We’re going to build an economy that in fact is going to provide for the ability to take four million buildings and make sure that they in fact are weatherized in a way that in fact that they’ll omit significantly less gas and oil because the heat will not be going out...There’s many people today driving their kids to soccer practice, and or, black and white or Hispanic, in the same car,” Biden said.
There was not a single exchange where Biden had the upper hand. Perhaps it is for that reason that Wallace felt the need to level the playing field by frequently interrupting the president virtually every time he was ready to land another uppercut to his opponent. As Trump rightly pointed out during the debate, at times it appeared as though he were debating both Biden and Wallace. In one bizarre exchange, Wallace repeatedly asked the president to denounce white supremacy, after he had already done so twice. In another instance, Wallace turned into a prosecutor and cross-examined Trump about climate change.
Meanwhile, Biden refused to denounce Antifa or BLM for the rioting and looting that has wreaked havoc in Portland and Kenosha. “I don’t hold public office now... Antifa is an idea, not an organization,” Biden said. No viewer will come away from this debate questioning where Trump stands on the issues that matter to the voters. One wonders if even the most ardent Biden supporters can say with a straight face where he stands on any single issue.
Bi
BLOG EDITOR: THE GREATEST TRANSFER OF WEALTH TO THE RICH HAPPENED DURUING THE OBAMA-HOLDER BANKSTER REGIME DURING WHICH TIME BIDEN AND HIS FAMILY WERE SHAKING DOWN BRIBES FROM FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
When Trump accused Biden of destroying the economy with his climate plan Biden said, “The Green New Deal is not my plan,” apparently forgetting that on his website it says, “Biden believes the Green New Deal is a crucial framework.” Later in the debate, Biden said “The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward.” When he was asked again by Wallace if he supported it he said, “No, I don’t support the Green New Deal.” In the words of the immortal John Kerry, Biden voted for the Green New Deal before he voted against it.
When Biden tried to blame Trump for his handling of the coronavirus by saying, “A lot of people died, and a lot more are going to die unless he gets a lot smarter a lot quicker,” the president shot back, “Did you use the word smart? You said you went to Delaware State, but you forgot the name of your college. You didn’t go to Delaware State. You graduated either the lowest or almost the lowest in your class, don’t ever use the word smart with me... There’s nothing smart about you, Joe. 47 years you’ve done nothing.”
There were several moments throughout the debate when Biden tried to be the aggressor, but his attacks on Trump backfired, either by his own doing or through the president’s rebukes. When Biden attacked Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett for supposedly threatening to overturn Roe V. Wade, Trump immediately struck him down. “That’s on the ballot, in the court, that’s also at stake right now.” Biden said. “You don’t know that it’s on the ballot. Why is it on the ballot, there’s nothing happening there.” Trump shot back. Biden was left gasping for air, before Wallace quickly moved on to the next topic.
In case anyone forgot that Trump has a sense of humor, he reminded us of that too. When Biden attacked Trump for holding rallies during the coronavirus, the president reasoned that Biden was using the virus as an excuse for his lack of crowd support. “People want to hear what I have to say. I’ll have 25,000, or 35,000 people showing up at airports… So far we’ve had no problem whatsoever. It’s outside, that’s a big difference according to the experts... Joe does the circles and has three people in some places... If you could get the crowds you would have done the same thing, but you can’t.”
Perhaps Trump’s most effective line of attack came when he pressed Biden for refusing to say the words “law and order.” This was a similar strategy that he used to great effect in 2016, when he attacked President Obama and Hillary Clinton for refusing to say the words “Radical Islamic Terrorist.” “The people of this country want law and order, and you’re afraid to even say it,” Trump said. “He doesn’t want to say it because he’ll lose his radical left supporters.” When Trump pressed Biden to name one law enforcement group that supported him, Biden was left speechless.
These debates are rarely ever solely about who has better policies, or who seems like a nicer human being, but rather about who looks more ready to become the next leader of the Free World. Trump was the clear winner by a unanimous decision. As the late sportscaster Howard Cosell would say, “Down Goes Biden.”
Hunter Biden’s Firms Scored Reportedly Hundreds of Millions from Russians, Chinese, and Kazakhs

Hunter Biden, son of 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden, has come under scrutiny for his business links to Ukrainian natural gas firm Burisma while his father was vice president.
Now, a new book by author Peter Schweizer reveals Hunter Biden forged other business deals with individuals and entities tied with the governments of Russia, China, and Kazakhstan, that reportedly scored him hundreds of millions of dollars.
The book, titled Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite., lays out how Hunter Biden and his business partners, in addition to his numerous Rosemont-branded entities and ventures, was deeply involved with an entity called the Burnham Financial Group.
Hunter and his business partner, Devon Archer, used Burnham to make foreign deals with governments and oligarchs, according to a copy of the book viewed by Breitbart News.
One of those oligarchs included Nurlan Abduov, the associate of another Kazakh oligarch, Kenges Rakishev. Rakishev is the son-in-law of the former vice prime minister of Kazakhstan, Imangali Tasmagambetov. Tasmagamvetov was also formerly the defense minister, and is now the Kazakh ambassador to Russia.
According to the book, an account Hunter regularly received funds from showed money arriving from a firm run by Rakishev in 2014:
A Morgan Stanley investment account from which Hunter regularly received funds shows money arriving from mysterious
sources around the world. There is a $142,300 deposit in April 2014 from Kazakh oligarch–controlled Novatus Holdings. Kenges
Rakishev, whose father-in-law is the former vice prime minister of Kazakhstan and a close ally of Kazakh dictator Nursultan
Nazarbayev, runs the offshore firm.
While Burnham received funds from Kazakh oligarchs, Archer acted as a backchannel between Kazakhstan to then-Secretary of State John Kerry, according to the book. (Kerry’s stepson Chris Heinz was a business partner with Biden and Archer in some of their ventures).
In a July 11, 2013, email, Kerry’s chief of staff David Wade wrote to Archer:
Devon: understand you spoke to the Secretary re having him call [Kazakh] Foreign Minister Idrisov today, can you let me know topics Idrisov wants to talk about/any requests he’ll have of the boss, so we can get paper prepared for a call. Hopefully, the situation on the home front will leave him time to do it.
Burnham also had business deals with two mysterious Chinese companies — Kirin Global Enterprses Limited and Harvest Global Investors, according to the book.
Kirin Global Enterprise Limited was an investment vehicle run by Xiangyao (or Yaojun) “Larry” Liu and Guo Jianfeng, according to Schweizer. “Very little is known about Kirin or its two principals, other than the fact that they invest heavily in mainland Chinese real estate,” he writes. Harvest Global Investors was a Chinese investment firm linked to the government in Beijing.
Burnham also had a financial relationship with Russian Oligarch Yelena Baturina, a billionaire with extensive political connections in Moscow and links to Russian organized crime, according to Schweizer. Archer said Baturina invested $200 million into “various investment funds” with which he was involved.
Burnham also got wrapped up in a $60 million fraudulent bond scheme to rip off union pension funds and the poorest Indian tribe in America, the Oglala Sioux, Schweizer writes.
In May 2016, Archer was arrested in New York and charged with “orchestrating a scheme to defraud investors and a Native American tribal entity of tens of millions of dollars.”
Some of the targeted were government employee or labor union organizations that had supported Joe Biden in the past. Biden has long described himself as a “union man.”
Although Hunter Biden was not charged, Schweizer writes, “his fingerprints were all over Burnham.” The legitimacy that his name and political status as the vice president’s son lent to Burnham was brought up repeatedly during the trial, he writes.
That status was used as a means of both recruiting pension money into the scheme and alleviating investors’ concerns, he writes. In an August 2014 email, Jason Galanis, who was convicted in the bond scheme, agreed that Burnham had “value beyond capital” because of their political connections.
Hunter Biden had an office at Burnham’s New York City offices on Fifty-Seventh Street, and during the trial, numerous witnesses came forward describing Hunter’s involvement with the firm, according to the book.
Schweizer writes these deals have long been a pattern with the Biden family, to include Hunter Biden:
With the election of his father as vice president, Hunter Biden launched businesses fused to his father’s power that led him to lucrative deals with a rogue’s gallery of governments and oligarchs around the world. Sometimes he would hitch a prominent ride with his father aboard Air Force Two to visit a country where he was courting business. Other times, the deals would be done more discreetly. Always they involved foreign entities that appeared to be seeking something from his father. Often, the countries in question, including Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan, had highly corrupt political cultures.
In short, Hunter Biden was not cutting business
deals in Japan or Great Britain, where disclosure
rules and corporate governance might require
greater scrutiny. These were deals in the truly dark
corners of the world.

Second batch of smoking gun emails reveal Hunter Biden's dealings with 'disappeared' Chinese energy company chairman about his $30 MILLION consultancy fee 'for introductions alone'
- Hunter Biden was involved with China's largest private energy company CEFC
- He was given equity, ownership of a holding company and huge consulting fees
- Hunter was dealing with CEFC chairman Ye Jianming who has since vanished
- In one email, Hunter said a lucrative deal would be 'interesting for my family'
- A report about the emails did not include response from Biden or others involved
Hunter Biden pursued deals with a major Chinese energy company including one that would be 'interesting for me and my family', new secret emails said to be from the presidential candidate's son claim.
He also struck a deal for $30 million plus bonuses 'based on introductions alone' over three years after his father left office, then was offered a 'much more lasting and lucrative arrangement.'
The son of the Democratic presidential nominee communicated with China's largest private energy company, CEFC, according to the latest trove of messages unearthed by the New York Post from what is said to be Hunter's personal laptop.
The trove of emails have set of a series of political shockwaves including:
- The laptop was revealed to include a picture of Hunter with what appears to be a crack pipe, and an 11-minute sex and drug video which is still to be seen;
- Twitter barred the Trump campaign from its account for trying to share the originally story about Hunter's Ukraine emails amid a mounting row over 'censorship' by it and Facebook;
- Donald Trump seized on the release - orchestrated by his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani - to call his rival 'a corrupt politician';
- Senate Republicans said they will investigate the first tranche of emails, from Hunter's Ukrainian business partners, which appear to show the Burisma energy aide being introduced to Joe Biden when he was vice president;
- Democrats accusing Giuliani of peddling 'misinformation' and 'parading around with a Russian agent.'
The latest emails, published again early in the morning, focus on Hunter's dealings with Ye Jianming, the former chairman of CEFC in 2017, after his father had left office and when it was thought he would not run in 2020.
Ye has not been seen since he was taken into custody by Chinese authorities in 2018 amid rumored links to the Chinese military and intelligence services.
It was previously known that he gave Hunter a diamond
CEFC went bankrupt earlier this year after it was unable to repay its huge debts after warnings over its lack of transparency and dealings with sanctioned Russian firms.
In one email sent to Hunter in May 2017 titled 'Expectations', details of 'remuneration packages' for six people in a business venture were discussed.
He was identified as the 'chair/vice chair depending on agreement with CEFC', an apparent reference to the now bankrupt Shanghai conglomerate China Energy Co.
Hunter's pay was '850' and the correspondence also noted how he 'has some office expectations he will elaborate'.
New leaked emails said to be from Hunter Biden show his apparent involvement with major Chinese firms as he discussed lucrative deals that would be 'interesting for me and my family'
Hunter is said to have struck deals with Ye Jianming, the former chairman of CEFC, who has not been seen since his arrest in 2018
How it would work? An image from Hunter's laptop appears to show the way in which his deal with Jianming would be structured
Extracts from one email published Thursday by the New York Post show how Hunter Biden was to be paid $850,000 in part of his arrangement with the Chinese firm
Another email outlines a 'provisional agreement' where 80 per cent of the 'equity' would be shared equally among four people whose initials appear to relate to Hunter and three other recipients.
The sender of the email, James Gilliar, from consulting firm J2cR, said: 'I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is shortfalls?'
The email divides the equity into '20 H' - meaning 20 per cent equity to Hunter; 20 per cent to RW, meaning Rob Walker, also of the jc2r consultancy; 20 per cent to another man called Tony Bubulinski.
The remaining 20 per cent was split with 10 per cent going to 'Jim' who is otherwise unnamed, and then '10 held by H for the big guy?'
The big guy is unnamed.
Zang appears to be a reference to Zang Jian Jun who was the former executive director of CEFC.
In another 2017 email, Hunted reportedly discussed a deal with Ye. According to the leaked emails, Biden wrote that Ye had been influential in improving a three-year consulting contract with CEFC that would pay him $10million annually just for introductions.
He was given half ownership of a holding company to sweeten the deal, with Ye owning the other half.
According to the leaked emails, Biden wrote: 'Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn the equity and profits of the JV's [joint venture's] investments.'
His email was sent to Gongwen Dong who has been linked to the purchase of two luxury Manhattan apartments for a total of $83million, which were bought by companies linked to Ye, according to the Wall Street Journal.
A photo from August 2017 appears to show a flowchart of the ownership of Hudson West which is split equally between Hunter Biden and 'Chairman'.
A report on Biden's business dealings released last month found Hudson West III opened a line of credit in September 2017.
Credit cards issued against the account were used by Hunter, his uncle James and James's wife Sara.
They purchased more than $100,000 worth of items including airline tickets, Apple products, hotel and restaurant bookings, according to the report released by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa).
Hudson West has since been dissolved and Hunter's law firm Owaco PC was one of its two owners the report said.
Also seen in the emails was an agreement from one of Ye's associates to pay Biden a retainer of $1million for counsel on US law.
The offer was made by former Hong Kong government official Chi Ping Patrick Ho, who has been convicted in Manhattan for two schemes to pay $3million in bribes to African government officials for oil rights.
He served a prison sentence of three years and was deported to Hong Kong in June.
Hunter Biden and his father Joe Biden in 2016. Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine were at the center of the Trump impeachment case
Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani has been probing Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine
The Democratic candidate's son's photos were part of the laptop which was obtained by Rudy Giuliani's attorney and has now been released by the president's lawyer
The revelations come after emails come from Hunter's laptop appeared to show him making an introduction between his powerful father and a Ukrainian energy firm on Wednesday.
Gas company Burisma' adviser Vadym Pozharskyi thanked Hunter for 'an opportunity to meet your father' in an email sent in 2015, according to the stash of data given to the New York Post by Rudy Giuliani.
Biden dismissed the findings, and his spokesman Andrew Bates said the paper ' never asked the Biden campaign about the critical elements of this story...moreover, we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.'
The emails are among a trove being referenced by Giuliani and his team after the owner of a computer repair shop in Delaware recovered data from a MacBook pro laptop that was dropped off and never retrieved.
The computer was seized by the FBI and its contents shared with the Post by Giuliani.
Giuliani's lawyer Bob Costello said there are some 40,000 emails on the hard drive including thousands of texts. It also includes images of Hunter 'in very compromising positions,' Costello told Fox News.
There has been no comment on the new emails from Biden's campaign, his lawyer, nor the Chinese businessman.
But Biden's lawyer has previously dismissed the stories, accusing Giuliani of dishonesty.
