NAFTA JOE BIDEN - I'M A PENTAGON MAN. I'VE ALWAYS SUPPORTED OUR WAR MACHINE AND WAR PROFITEERS LIKE DIANNE FEINSTEIN - THAT'S WHY OUR BORDERS ARE UNDEFENDED AGAINST THE NARCOMEX INVASION!

“Heroin is not produced in the United States. Every gram of heroin present in the United States provides unequivocal evidence of a failure of border security because every gram of heroin was smuggled into the United States. Indeed, this is precisely a point that Attorney General Jeff Sessions made during his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on October 18, 2017 when he again raised the need to secure the U.S./Mexican border to protect American lives.” Michael Cutler …..FrontPageMag

JOE BIDEN'S SABOTAGE OF HOMELAND SECURITY - Illegal immigration is also the ways and means by which illegal drugs enter the United States. Last year, 100,000 Americans, most of them young, died of overdoses, with two-thirds of these Americans succumbing to fentanyl that is produced in China and comes through Mexico. PATRICK BUCHANAN

(CNSNews.com) – “Last night, operating on my orders, the United States military forces successfully removed a major terrorist threat to the world, a global leader of ISIS,” President Biden said in a televised statement at mid-morning on Thursday.

“This operation is testament to our reach and capability to take out terrorist threats no matter where they try to hide anywhere in the world.  I’m determined to protect the American people from terrorist threats, and I’ll take decisive action to protect this country,” Biden said.

Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, who succeeded Abu Bakr al Baghdadi as the ISIS leader, blew himself up at a house in northwestern Syria as U.S. Special Forces approached the building.

Biden said al-Hashimi also blew up the building’s third floor, killing members of his own family “rather than face justice for the crimes he has committed.”

“Thanks to the bravery of our troops, this horrible terrorist leader is no more,” Biden said.

Our forces carried out the operation with their signature preparation and precision, and I directed the Department of Defense to take every precaution possible to minimize civilian casualties.

Knowing that this terrorist had chosen to surround himself with families, including children, we made a choice to pursue a Special Forces raid, at a much greater risk to our own people rather than targeting him with an air strike. We made this choice to minimize civilian casualties.

Biden praised the “immense courage and skilled determination of our U.S. forces who skillfully executed this incredibly challenging mission.”

According to The New York Times: “The helicopter-borne assault carried out by about two dozen American commandos, backed by helicopter gunships, armed Reaper drones and attack jets, resembled the raid in October 2019 in which Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the previous leader of the Islamic State, died when he detonated a suicide vest as U.S. forces raided a hide-out not far from where Thursday’s operation took place.”

That report indicated last night's raid did not go entirely as planned:

American helicopters ferried the commandos into position after midnight, surrounding a house in Atmeh, a town close to the border with Turkey in rebel-held Idlib Province, according to eyewitnesses, social media reports and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a conflict monitor based in Britain.

A tense standoff briefly ensued, with loudspeakers blaring warnings in Arabic for everyone in the house to surrender, neighbors said. Then an explosion rocked the building. After that, some of the house’s occupants had not emerged and a major battle erupted, with heavy machine gun fire and apparent missile strikes.

During the operation, one of the American helicopters suffered a mechanical problem, was forced to land and was later destroyed by American attack aircraft. After about three hours, the American commandos and their remaining helicopters flew off, witnesses said.

At the conclusion of his remarks on Thursday, Biden again spoke about keeping the American people safe.

“We remain vigilant. We remain prepared,” he said.

“Last night’s operation took a major terrorist leader off the battlefield, Biden said. And it sent a strong message to terrorists around the world. We will come after you and find you.

“Once again, today – we continue our unceasing effort to keep the American people safe and to strengthen the security of our allies and partners around the world.”

(CNS News) -- According to U.S. Customs and Border Enforcement (CBP), the area around El Paso, Texas is popular for illegal migrants with criminal records trying to enter the United States. Since the first of this year, CBP has stopped 244 migrants with previous criminal histories in the El Paso Sector.

"The El Paso Sector continues to see migrants with criminal records attempting to enter our borders with different criminal backgrounds that include assault, burglary, driving under the influence, homicide, illegal drug possession, illegal weapon possession and sexual offenses," said the CBP in a press release.

In a Jan. 25 encounter, CBP agents from the Teresa Border Patrol Station stopped a migrant who was trying to enter the U.S. illegally. "Criminal record checks indicated that the El Salvador national is affiliated with a notorious criminal gang and was removed on two prior occasions," said the CBP.

A few hours later, agents caught a migrant in Deming, N.M. "Criminal records indic     ated that this individual had extensive criminal history in San Jose, California," said the CBP. "Criminal convictions include charges of sexual battery, DUI causing bodily injury, hit and run and DUI with priors."

That evening, Santa Teresa Border Patrol agents stopped an "aggravated felon" with "confirmed gang affiliation." According to the CBP, "The felon was part of a group of two migrants encountered illegally into the United States. The previously removed individual had convictions for unlawful transport of firearms, felon in possession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property."

Over the weekend of Jan. 29-30, Ysleta Border Patrol Agents arrested "a migrant with criminal records in a foreign country and another migrant with a murder charge out of Los Angeles, California," reported the CBP.

“These arrests continue to highlight the dangers that Transnational Criminal Organizations pose by attempting to smuggle criminals into our country," said El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria I. Chavez.  "Dangerous criminals endanger our communities when they often continue to disregard the rule of law. The agents of the El Paso Sector are committed to their duties of protecting the American people, safeguarding our borders, and enhancing the nation’s economic prosperity."

“Our agents work diligently and tirelessly to protect our communities and our country," said Chavez. "These significant arrests made over the span of seven days demonstrate the importance of the work the agents do every day. Keeping convicted felons off our streets is amongst the most vital duties performed by Border Patrol Agents.”

In its press release, the CBP noted that "an arrest or criminal complaint is merely a charge and should not be considered evidence of guilt. Subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."

What Matters Most to Nations and Peoples?

Speaking in Conroe, Texas, last weekend, former President Donald Trump accused his successor of allowing millions of migrants to enter the country illegally across our Southern border.

"The most important border ... for us is not Ukraine's border but America's border," thundered Trump.

"Before Joe Biden sends any troops to defend a border in Europe, he should be sending troops to defend our border right here in Texas."

Thus did Trump not only frame a compelling issue for the fall election; he has framed an issue that touches on one of the great and deepening divides of our time.

Which matters more — the defense of our country from an invasion of migrants from the Third World, or the defense of the borders of distant nations that have little or nothing to do with the security or survival of the United States?

Why should who rules the Russified Donbas be America's concern?

This "border issue" feeds into other Republican issues.

For the border crossers seen on national TV appear to be mostly young men, who will likely contribute to the crime crisis of shootings and killings plaguing America's cities.

Illegal immigration is also the ways and means by which illegal drugs enter the United States. Last year, 100,000 Americans, most of them young, died of overdoses, with two-thirds of these Americans succumbing to fentanyl that is produced in China and comes through Mexico.

Trump's framing of the issue as between the foreign borders we defend and America's border that we do not also divides the GOP.

The interventionist wing of the party seeks a confrontation with Vladimir Putin's Russia, while America First nationalists urge a refocus of U.S. troops and resources to our own bleeding southern border.

And illegal migration is rising as an issue not only in the United States but across Europe.

In France, the four leading presidential candidates — incumbent Emmanuel Macron, nationalist Marine Le Pen, the center-right candidate Valerie Pecresse and the far-right candidate Eric Zemmour — are all making the invasion of Europe an issue, and taking a tougher line.

Over the same weekend that Trump spoke in Texas, the leaders of two NATO nations that border Ukraine headed to Madrid for a gathering titled "Defend Europe." The threat that brought them to the Spanish capital was not Russia's military presence on Ukraine's borders.

Reports The New York Times:

"Instead of tackling the Russian threat to Europe's eastern frontier, the meeting attended by the prime ministers of Poland and Hungary, Mateusz Morawiecki and Viktor Orban, focused on what the populist leaders cite as their most pressing threats: immigration, demographic decline and the European Union ... "

"France's far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen, an outspoken fan of the Kremlin, was also at the two-day conclave ... "

"A declaration issued after the Madrid gathering made no mention of Ukraine. ... It instead stressed the need to form a united front in favor of 'family policies,' Christianity and keeping out immigrants. The European Union, the statement said, had become 'detached from reality,' leading to 'demographic suicide.'"

In brief, while Western elites are alarmed about the borders of Ukraine and Kremlin encroachments, much of Europe is more concerned about its own moral, cultural and demographic decline — abortion, LGBT rights, low birth rates and the death of Christianity.

Europe is in danger of dying, these people believe.

These Europeans are concerned that the nations and peoples their ancestors and fathers knew are going out of existence. Their greater fear is not of Putin's Russia but of an EU superstate whose dominance leads inexorably to the decline and disappearance of distinct ethnic nations.

To the leaders of Hungary and Poland and the traditionalist and populist right-wing parties of Europe, nationality matters more than political systems.

Hungary's Viktor Orban, for example, does not regard Putin's Russia as an enemy of his country, and provides economic incentives for Hungarian families to have more children.

Consider. If the birth rates of the ethnic groups that historically have made up the nations of Europe are now below replacement levels, 2.1 children per woman, these peoples will become minorities in their own countries and eventually die out.

Extinction beckons.

Why should the inhabitants of these nations care about the borders of other countries, if their own countries are slowly passing away?

And why should the future inhabitants of Europe from Africa and Asia in year 2100, who will inherit, populate and rule these lands, care about the old borders created by the history of yesterday's Europeans?

As the peoples of Europe are divided between those who fear demographic death in the long run and those who fear autocratic Russian dominance in the near term, so, too, are Americans divided.

Our ruling class, to whom the world struggle is between autocracy and democracy, are willing to fight for the triumph of the latter over the former.

The other half of America is more concerned with the character and composition of their own nation, present and future, which also appears to be passing away.

Hawley Says Facebook’s Human Trafficking Policy May Be Criminal

Sen. Josh Hawley (R., Mo.) says Meta, formerly known as Facebook, may be engaged in criminal conduct following a Washington Free Beacon report on its decision to allow solicitation of human trafficking on its platforms.

In a letter to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg obtained by the Free Beacon, Hawley says the company policy of allowing the solicitation of smuggling services to cross through the southern border may amount to "aiding and abetting illegal border crossings," a federal crime.

Hawley, who served as Missouri's attorney general before he was elected to the U.S. Senate, wants Meta to lay out whether it's taken any steps to ensure "compliance with federal anti-trafficking laws" and detail its plans to provide resources to help users who solicit traffickers on the platform. The company this week told the Free Beacon that provided resources would be solely informational.

Hawley’s letter comes as Meta finds itself on the ropes. On Wednesday a disappointing company earnings report led to the largest-ever one-day drop in the company’s stock price. Lawmakers from both parties have also introduced bills over the last year to more closely regulate the company on issues ranging from transparency to the content it allows users to post.

On Tuesday, the Free Beacon reported that Meta decided to allow the solicitation of smuggling after five months of deliberation. Meta told the Free Beacon that its policy strikes "the right balance between supporting people fleeing violence and religious persecution while not allowing human smuggling to take place through our platforms."

Meta’s policy, according to Hawley, may have legal consequences under a future Republican-led Department of Justice.

"Your company is not outside the law. I remind you that the protections of 47 U.S.C. § 230 (‘Section 230'), the liability shield from which your company benefits daily, do not extend to criminal activity," Hawley wrote. "Perhaps a future presidential administration, one less sympathetic to your company’s political leanings, will be interested in investigating your company’s decisions to aid and abet such unlawfulness."

Hawley asked for Meta to provide the information he requested by Feb. 11.

Sen. Rick Scott (R., Fla.) also targeted Meta over its smuggling policy, writing on Thursday that it was "shameful." Scott extended an invitation to Zuckerberg to the southern border so he can meet with border patrol agents and "hear their stories of young girls being smuggled and sold into human trafficking networks funded by savage cartels."

From April 2020 to April 2021, more than 100,000 Americans died from drug overdoses, according to data from the National Center for Health Statistics. An overwhelming majority of those deaths came from opioids, and fentanyl smuggling has surged at the southern border since the start of Joe Biden's presidency. Joseph Simonson and Collin Anderson

“Joe Biden is great on immigration. I guess depends on your perspective. If you’re a human trafficker, or drug dealer, you’d give him an A-plus, but theAmerican people would give him an F. The crisis at our border was not only entirely predictable, it was predicted. I predicted that if you campaign all year long on open borders, amnesty, and health care for illegals, you’re going to get more migrants at the border. That’s what’s happened since the election.”
