Ron Johnson: ‘President Biden Is Dramatically, Seriously Compromised’

1:17

During an appearance on FBN’s “Mornings with Maria,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) warned the turmoil in the world, including Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, was underway, there are still unresolved issues about President Joe Biden’s business dealings with Russia and China.

Johnson described Biden as “dramatically, seriously compromised.”

“That’s my concern,” he said. “We don’t know all of his foreign financial entanglements. We’ve certainly shown the indication of the advanced web of them. But I’ll tell you who does know: Russian intelligence, Chinese intelligence. Is that why he lifted the sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which again was one of the factors emboldening and tempting Putin to invade Ukraine? What does China know? Is that why he canceled the China initiative, to make sure they don’t steal our intellectual property from our university systems?”

“Again, I think Tony Bobulinski was right,” Johnson added. “President Biden is dramatically, seriously compromised. We just don’t know to what extent.”

Peter Schweizer’s ‘Red-Handed’ Hits #1 on New York Times Bestseller List for 4th Week

Schweizer

Peter Schweizer’s blockbuster new book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win has landed at number one on the New York Times bestseller list for a fourth week since its release by HarperCollins, after dropping to number two on the list last week.

Schweizer, whose past books have sparked an FBI investigation and exposed congressional insider trading that spearheaded groundbreaking legislation, has called the revelations in Red-Handed the “scariest” of his quarter-century career investigating corruption.

As the book’s subtitle states, Red-Handed exposes the vast complicity of elites – from politicians to diplomats to business, tech, and entertainment tycoons – who have enriched themselves by advancing the interests of China’s communist regime.

Schweizer, who is the president of the nonpartisan Government Accountability Institute (GAI) and a Breitbart News senior contributor, spent over a year conducting the research for Red-Handed with his team of forensic investigators at GAI, combing through a trove of financial and corporate records. The book contains 1,093 endnotes and 81 pages of source material with no off-the-record sources, making it easier for federal law enforcement and U.S. intelligence services to track down the book’s bombshell revelations.

Last month, U.S. House Republicans introduced the “Stop CCP Act” to impose sanctions on Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials, including Chinese dictator Xi Jinping and his family, Breitbart reported last moth. The legislative proposal comes on the heels of the shocking revelations in Schweizer’s book.

Leaders on Capitol Hill — including Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) — are also calling for Attorney General Merrick Garland to appoint a special counsel to investigate the revelations in Red-Handed concerning President Joe Biden’s family members’ business dealings with individuals with direct ties to the highest levels of China’s spy apparatus.

The New York Post’s editorial board echoed these calls in an op-ed headlined, “Appoint a special counsel on Hunter Biden—now.”

Breitbart’s coverage of Red-Handed’s revelations include:

  • How the Biden family scored some $31 million from five deals in China, all with individuals with direct ties to the highest levels of China’s intelligence apparatus
  • How a Chinese global energy company linked to a Chinese intelligence operation sent close to $6 million to Hunter Biden in 2017
  • How American elites — including the Silicon Valley Masters of the Universe — purposefully aid the communist regime of China
  • How donations from Communist China to the University of Pennsylvania almost tripled after the university established a “Biden Center” in 2017 and gave former Vice President Joe Biden a professorship
  • How Hunter Biden planned to share his family’s office space in Washington, DC, with a Chinese intelligence-linked firm that employed a man Hunter described as “the f**king spy chief of China
  • How Hunter Biden’s business deals were helpful to the Belt and Road Initiative, which is China’s colonialist scheme for buying influence across the Third World and luring poor nations into taking loans from Chinese banks they can never repay
  • How 23 former U.S. senators and congressmen (most of whom are Republican) have lobbied for Chinese military or intelligence-linked companies after leaving office
  • How 20 Republicans from the highest levels of our government sold out to China
  • How politicians use tepid criticism of China’s human rights abuses as cover to continue doing Beijing’s bidding — a concept the CCP refers to as “big help with a little bad mouth
  • How members of the Bush family cashed in on friendship with the Chinese official involved in the Tiananmen Square massacre
  • How the husband of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee, was the part owner of a Chinese firm that allegedly sold computers with spyware chips to the U.S. military
  • How House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) softened her previous criticism of the Chinese Communist Party as her husband and son scored big business deals in China
  • How Pelosi reined in her criticism of the 2008 Beijing Olympics after her family members were involved in business ventures in China that would benefit from the 2008 Games
  • How Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has followed in his father Pierre’s footsteps both in assuming high office and in using it to further the interests of the Chinese Communist Party
  • How a CCP regime-linked company promoted Justin Trudeau’s entry into politics by publishing a Chinese language edition of Pierre Trudeau’s travelogue through Maoist China during the Cultural Revolution
  • How Wall Street titan Steve Schwarzman of Blackstone launched a $100 million global education scholarship program for Americans and other students studying in China to inculcate the superiority of Chinese communism
  • How Antony Blinken helped American universities “navigate problems” of legally balancing their Pentagon contracts while still accepting Chinese funding of dubious origin, and how he encouraged the U.S. government to deny political asylum to a high profile Chinese Communist Party defector who could have been a priceless intelligence asset for the United States
  • How American universities have often not complied with federal laws when it comes to accepting donations linked to the Chinese Communist Party

Schweizer’s track record investigating both Republicans and Democrats is well-established, winning him a unique mix of bipartisan praise for his investigative work from both the left and the right. After the release of Schweizer’s bestselling Clinton Cash, liberal columnist Eleanor Clift called Schweizer “an equal-opportunity investigator, snaring Republicans as well as Democrats.” Clift added: “It’s a mistake for the Clinton campaign to write off conservative author Peter Schweizer as a right-wing hack. It won’t work, and it’s not true.” Similarly, Harvard Law School Professor Lawrence Lessing wrote that “on any fair reading, the pattern of behavior that Schweizer has charged is corruption.”

Schweizer is also the author of Throw Them All Out, which, according to left-leaning Slate, was “the book that started the STOCK Act stampede.” The bipartisan STOCK Act (Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge) banned insider trading by members of Congress and was signed into law by President Barack Obama on April 4, 2012. The legislation received overwhelming support from both parties. One of the main figures featured in Schweizer’s Throw Them All Out, then-chairman of the House Financial Services Committee Spencer Bachus (R-AL), announced he would not seek reelection after the book’s reporting. CBS’s 60 Minutes did an investigative report on Schweizer’s revelations that won them the Joan Shorenstein Barone Award for excellence in Washington-based journalism.

After Calling China the Top Geopolitical Threat, Biden Lets Beijing Off The Hook

President Joe Biden made just two brief references to China in his State of the Union speech on Tuesday, despite warnings from his own administration that the country is the top geopolitical threat to the United States and is officially engaging in "genocide" against the Uyghurs.

Biden described the U.S. conflict with China in purely economic terms, a signal that the White House doesn’t view military and human rights issues with Beijing as a pressing global priority going into 2022.

Instead, Biden framed China as one of the United States' industrial competitors while pushing Congress to pass infrastructure spending legislation.

"We are going to have an infrastructure decade," said Biden. "It is going to transform America and put us on a path to win the economic competition of the 21st Century that we face with the rest of the world—particularly with China."

Later in the speech, he added that to "compete for the best jobs of the future, we also need to level the playing field with China and other competitors."

Biden did not touch on the findings from his office of the director of national intelligence, which deemed China the top national security threat to the United States in a report last year. He also declined to mention the growing list of documented human rights violations by China, including the government’s brutal crackdown against the Uyghur minority in Xinjiang. Last year, Biden’s State Department reaffirmed the Trump administration’s determination that China was engaged in genocide against the Uyghurs.

Biden also made no reference to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, which outlaws imports from China derived from Uyghur slave labor. Congress passed the bill in December. It was signed into law by Biden, despite behind-the-scenes objections from some members of the Biden administration, who expressed concerns that it would undermine climate change negotiations with China.

While Biden devoted the early portion of his speech to the West’s efforts to counter Russian military aggression and the invasion of Ukraine, he did not discuss the threat of a nuclear Iran or an increasingly antagonistic North Korea.

Biden’s Office of the Director of National Intelligence listed Iran, North Korea, and Russia as the top three national security threats to the United States after China in its report last spring.

"Beijing, Moscow, Tehran and Pyongyang have demonstrated the capability and intent to advance their interests at the expense of the United States and its allies, despite the pandemic," said the report. "China increasingly is a near-peer competitor, challenging the United States in multiple arenas—especially economically, militarily and technologically—and is pushing to change global norms."

WE CAN'T SAVE OUR NATION BY ELECTING SOCIOPATH GAMER LAWYERS TO RUN THE SHOW!

Among them is Biden willfully violating federal immigration laws by throwing open the  border.  Also, there's Biden's conflict of interest while dealing with China and Ukraine owing to his son's shady deals with the two countries.  The catastrophe in Afghanistan can also be used as a reason.

Biden has mastered the art of deflecting criticism of his corruption and incompetence by using black women as human shields. It began with Kamala Harris, who was grossly unready to serve in the White House, but whose nomination made a ticket headed by an old white hack seem transformational and whose continued presence makes it all but impossible to remove or bypass Biden from an office that he is equally unfit to occupy on ethical and moral grounds.                  DANIEL GREENFIELD

White House Deploys Jill Biden to Reboot Joe Biden’s Image

First Lady Jill Biden joined President Joe Biden on Wednesday for a trip out of Washington, DC, taking the stage for an unusually defensive speech about her husband.

The First Lady began her speech recalling Inauguration Day when she watched Joe Biden take the oath of office just a year ago.

“In that moment, he was the man I fell in love with so many years ago,” she recalled, joining her husband to address a small crowd in Superior, Wisconsin.

The president reacted visibly with surprise to her comment, prompting the crowd to burst into laughter, interrupting the first lady’s speech.

“I guess I don’t tell him enough,” she replied after Biden tried to approach her for a hug.

Looking back to Biden’s inauguration, Jill Biden recalled how she felt about her husband that day.

The first lady’s speech appeared to be an attempt by the White House to reboot the president’s image, as recent polling shows 54 percent of Americans do not think Biden has the mental sharpness to serve as president.

She painted a picture of Biden as a heroic historical figure who saved America from the “four years of chaos” of former President Donald Trump.

“[A]s Joe stood there, shoulders back, eyes shining with fierce optimism, I could see his determination to bring us together to lead us forward to a better America,” she recalled.

She spoke about how Biden healed his broken family after a deadly car accident, commuted back and forth on a train to Delaware during his long career as a United States senator.

“He was the senator who learned that you know to get up when he got knocked down and fight even harder for what he knows is right,” she boasted.

The First Lady also recalled Biden’s “steadfast council” for eight years as vice president for former President Barack Obama.

She praised Biden’s leadership in his first year as president, as her speech sounded almost as if she was campaigning for her husband’s re-election.

“Our world faces incredible challenges, but things are so much better,” she said. “You were right to put your faith in Joe Biden a year ago.”

Jill Biden praised her husband for his global leadership, describing him as “unshakable.”

“He is unshakable despite deep divides at home and abroad,” she said. “He knows how to bring people together, how to rally the world when tyrants reach for power.”

She reassured the audience Biden was uniquely focused on their problems from the moment he woke up every morning to the moment he went to bed.

“All he thinks about is to how to make life better for you and your family, it’s just who he is,” she said. “It’s who he’s always been. He will never stop working for you. He will never stop fighting for you.”

President Biden appeared taken aback by his wife’s speech, opening his own speech with a well-known antidote of how Jill loved Valentines’ Day. He also spoke about an interview he did with CBS about his “love story” and how he loved Jill more than she loved him.

“I want to tell you, Jilly, this was worth the trip to come out here today,” he said, thanking her for her comments.

He added, “If the Secret Service agents weren’t sworn to secrecy, they could tell you they’ve never heard anything like that said from the podium by Jill.”

Sound Bites From a Failed State of the Union Address

Smoke and mirrors - and nonexistent solutions.

President Joe Biden delivered his first State of the Union address on March 1st.  The president’s speech was filled with sound bites that could have been taken from focus groups and polls. Biden squandered a primetime opportunity to level with the American people about the abysmal state of the union that his progressive policies have brought about. He could have presented pragmatic proposals to turn things around. Instead, aside from sound bites presumably intended for the ears of Independents and Republicans, Biden praised his failed policies and offered a repackaging of more of the same.

For example, President Biden said that “we need to secure the border and fix the immigration system.” Even Texas’s Republican Senator Ted Cruz, who was seen nodding off from boredom during the speech, stood up for that line. But Biden failed to acknowledge how his open border policies have blown a huge hole in border security. The president offered no real fixes that would reverse the record flood of illegal immigrants into the United States on his watch.

President Biden tried rhetorically to distance himself from his radical base’s defund the police movement. “The answer is not to defund the police," he said. "The answer is to fund the police with the resources and training they need to protect our communities.”

This was a nice applause line except that the president did not dial back on his administration’s hostility to law enforcement. In fact, Biden’s Justice Department is hamstringing effective law enforcement with renewed investigations into a number of police agencies. It is seeking to force police departments to adopt self-defeating restrictions on how the police can keep people safe. Biden boasted about his Justice Department’s efforts to “hold law enforcement accountable.”

Biden also had a chance to repudiate the Left’s no cash bail policies in Democrat-run cities across the country that have let loose violent criminals to terrorize innocent people on the streets. But he failed to do so.

The president seemed to channel former President Donald Trump’s America First policies when he promoted “Made In America” products. Yet he failed to reverse his Green New Deal agenda that has returned America to energy dependence on oil imports from other countries, including Russia.

Every single day that Biden has refused to cut off U.S. imports of oil from Russia has been another day in which Biden has helped to fund Vladimir Putin’s brutal invasion of Ukraine and his slaughter of Ukrainian civilians.

Canada has announced an end to its imports of Russian oil. But not Biden.

The president could have ordered the immediate permitting of leases to drill for oil and gas on federal lands with a stroke of the pen. This would unleash American energy reserves. But Biden hasn’t done so.

The only measure that Biden announced during his State of the Union address to increase the U.S. oil supply is the release of 30 million barrels from America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve. This is in addition to another 30 million barrels of oil being released from other countries’ oil reserves. Oil prices rose further after Biden’s announcement.

The release of more oil from America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve could take at least 13 days to accomplish following a presidential order. Once this oil is released, it is estimated that it will meet Americans’ oil demands for just two or three days. Biden could have at least announced a federal gasoline tax holiday. But he did not.

The president also could have ordered his Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to immediately cancel its recent climate change regulation. This regulation crimps the ability to build new American energy infrastructure facilities such as more ports for the export of liquefied natural gas to European countries that are still dependent on Russian natural gas. Biden didn’t do so.

The president told the American people during his State of the Union address that “[I]nflation is robbing them of the gains they might otherwise feel.” But Biden's answer in his speech was to propose more wasteful government spending on top of the spend-and-borrow “American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.”

Biden is still pushing many elements of his stalled Build Back Better legislation without using the “Build Back Better” title. “I call it building a better America,” the president declared. More old wine in new bottles.

Biden’s continuing war on fossil fuel has been a major contributor to the runaway inflation plaguing Americans today. He refuses to reverse course except to release enough barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to satisfy just a few days of Americans’ demands for oil. Last November, after Biden released 50 million barrels of oil from the strategic reserve, the price of gasoline at the pump declined for just a short time before climbing again to its highest level in more than seven years in early February 2022. That was three weeks before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Biden spent the first portion of his State of the Union address discussing the Russian invasion of Ukraine. “Six days ago, Russia’s Vladimir Putin sought to shake the foundations of the free world thinking he could make it bend to his menacing ways,” the president said. “But he badly miscalculated. He thought he could roll into Ukraine and the world would roll over. Instead he met a wall of strength he never imagined. He met the Ukrainian people.”

Biden praised Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and every Ukrainian for inspiring the world with “their fearlessness, their courage, their determination.”

True enough. President Zelensky has demonstrated courageous leadership to the entire free world. But the man who is supposed to be the leader of the free world, the president of the United States, has failed to lead or to inspire with bold actions.

The president has followed Europe’s leadership in sanctioning Putin and his family directly. He hesitated for too long to impose stringent sanctions on Russia’s banking system and to cut Russia’s financial institutions from the global SWIFT messaging system, which is still not a complete cut-off. The Biden administration has not yet imposed sanctions directly on Russia’s energy industry, which would choke off the Russian war machine’s main source of funding.

Moreover, the Biden administration is reportedly not sharing real time battlefield intelligence and targeting information that the Ukrainian military could use to strike Russian forces in the air and on the ground in time to stop Russian offensive operations.

On Wednesday, Biden told reporters that it was still too early to conclude that Putin’s regime has committed war crimes. Where has Biden been for the last 48 hours as Putin’s military dropped cluster bombs and fired rockets indiscriminately at civilian populations and infrastructure? Scores of Ukrainian civilians have been reportedly killed so far.

The president concluded his State of the Union address with the standard invocation: “May God protect our troops.” But Biden tellingly omitted any salute to the 13 service members killed during his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, when he left behind American civilians, Afghan allies, and billions of dollars’ worth of sophisticated military equipment.

There is a compelling explanation for this glaring omission. The Biden administration might have feared that any mention of Afghanistan in President Biden’s State of the Union address would remind Americans of how his administration’s reckless handling of the pullout from Afghanistan signaled weakness to America’s adversaries. In all likelihood this helped to set the stage for Putin’s decision to launch his invasion of Ukraine.

The state of the union and the state of the world have gotten much worse since President Biden took office.

Sarcastic sympathy for Psaki: Two gaffes, one day, and getting more and more like boss Biden

Like president, like spokesweasel.

Joe Biden has relied on Jen Psaki to articulate his gaffes and gibberings for him as White House spokeswoman, but now that she's a year into the clean-up, she, too, is starting to make gaffes as he does.

She made two yesterday, including:

...which, on Twitter, called to mind that other time Joe Biden didn't have time for those 13 service members who died as a result of his failure to plan properly for the U.S. pull-out from Afghanistan.

Seems old Joe has no time at all for these troops whose lives he's asked to give for their country, none whatsoever.  It's quite a pattern for him.

Victory Girls has some excellent analysis of the backstory around that here.

And speaking of patterns, let's take a look at what Jen had to say about patterns and old Joe:

It immediately called to mind something most Americans are already thinking, according to this poll — that the Russian attack on Ukraine would not have happened at all on President Trump's watch, because Trump scared Vladimir Putin.  Such attacks happen only under Democrat presidents because Putin knows there's nothing to fear.  Putin makes his imperial power-grabs only during their presidencies.  As Legal Insurrection's Mary Chastain put it:

Psaki Says the Quiet Part Out Loud: Biden ‘was Vice President the Last Time Russia Invaded Ukraine. This is a pattern”‘

Yes, it’s quite a pattern, Psaki. Quite a pattern indeed!

She notes:

Oh, sweet summer child. A lot of us remember. A lot of us remember you as the State Department’s press secretary. A lot of us remember Obama putting Biden in charge of America’s role in helping Ukraine weed out corruption.

A lot of us remember Biden’s angelic son Hunter sitting on the Burisma board during that time.

Lavrov is one of those cronies.

Russia invaded eastern Ukraine and set up troops on the border. Russia annexed Crimea with a sham referendum. A few of us have never forgotten what happened in 2014. A few of us continued to read about Ukraine’s fight against Russia since 2014.

This is one thing I hate about culture. No attention span. When something becomes static it loses its luster so the mainstream media drops it to the bottom of the barrel.

The media doing that allows people like Biden and Psaki to act like Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is all brand new and happening because of Trump.

Both of these statements call to mind the many disgraces of the Biden presidency after its first year.

The first job of any public relations specialist, as Psaki is, is to make one's boss look good, to say, "look, over here," when a smoldering outhouse is stinking up the joint from over there.  Psaki is doing the opposite of that, inadvertently calling to mind Joe Biden's many failures.

There must be a reason for this, and I'll offer one theory for why Psaki is suddenly making so many gaffes: there's no "over here" left anymore — Biden has turned everything he's touched to bilge, and Psaki simply can't avoid bringing up Biden's failures anymore because they are all over.

What a hideous job to have to clean up after that, and all one can think is that if Psaki has any brains at all, she might be subliminally at least thinking of getting out.  Cleaning up Joe Biden's messes is a job for a super-janitor, and Psaki is simply getting sucked under by the mass of them.  She's becoming as gaffe-y as he is, and it's a

 pattern.

Confused Old Man Yells at Nation for an Hour

3,720 seconds of lies, fearmongering, and malapropisms.

Daniel Greenfield, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the Freedom Center, is an investigative journalist and writer focusing on the radical Left and Islamic terrorism.

A confused political hack from Delaware staged a one-man insurrection by invading the sacred precincts of the Capitol building, hijacking all the TV networks, and yelling that the planet would be destroyed unless we gave him all our money so he could burn it and turn it into green energy.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr, who loves the sound of his voice more than his crackhead son or the bastard grandchild of a stripper, had already inflicted the second longest opening address in the history of this nation with a 2021 marathon address that killed more brain cells than meth.

Like the star of a slasher movie sequel, Biden Jr., returned to ramble through a worse sequel, but kept it down to a mere hour and two minutes of torture. The two minutes are significant because when you have to endure the Vogon poetry of word salads, non-sequiturs, mumbles, grumbles, malapropisms, and random interjections, 120 extra seconds is an eternity.

During those 3,720 seconds of  lies, fearmongering, and malapropisms, Biden took credit for defeating COVID, Putin, and the English language. While viruses and nations can’t be defeated with hot air, English never stands a chance once Biden’s mouth gets its slimy tongue on it.

With the National Guard having safely secured Washington D.C. and locked down the U.S. Capitol, there was no room for anyone to escape no matter how badly they wanted to.

Unless they refused to take a COVID test.

Despite that, Congress appeared empty and the applause hollow. Some members had failed to show. Others kept their distance from each other as if malaise and failure were catching.

Biden, whose minions had met the threat of a Freedom Convoy of half a dozen trucks on their way to D.C. by summoning 800 National Guardsmen, began by asserting that, “freedom will always triumph over tyranny.” The best evidence of that was the complete collapse of mask mandates and the entire COVID public health security state that Biden had touted last year.

That and Biden’s poll numbers which are so far south they practically qualify as illegal aliens.

With the price of gas, homes, and groceries out of the reach of most Americans, Biden began by taking credit for doing nothing to stop Putin from invading Ukraine. And then vowed that he, along with a coalition of “freedom loving nations” would fight Putin until the last Ukrainian.

Or until their social media people run out of hashtags.

Biden, who confused the Iranians and the Ukranians, spent more time bragging about plans to seize the yachts of Russian oligarchs than Truman spent declaring victory after WWII.

Putin “may make gains on the battlefield,” Biden argued, but “he will pay a continuing high price over the long run”. Sure. Vlad may take Ukraine, but Biden will take his yacht. During his unhinged tirade, Biden revealed a plan to end women’s sports in America, but failed to name one thing that would actually stop Putin.

Except locking Vladimir in a room and forcing him to listen to a Biden speech.

"Putin will never gain the hearts and minds of the Iranian people!" Biden vowed. Much as Biden will never gain the hearts and minds of the American people, but has a shot with the Iranians.

After foreign policy, Biden turned to a subject he understood even less, economics. Trying to relate to the ordinary people whose lives and fortunes he had wrecked, he asserted that, "my dad had to leave his home in Scranton, Pennsylvania to find work or like many of you."

Biden's alcoholic father was a successful executive with his uncle's company who ran through a series of failed independent ventures before becoming a used car salesman.

Like many of you.

Having nailed down his working class cred, Biden began touting his various pork boondoggles, past, present, and future which helped push the national debt past $30 trillion. Deep in inflationary territory, Biden relaunched a pitch for his Build Back Better plan including spending billions to build 500,000 electric car chargers for the starving Tesla owners of California.

Congenitally unable to take responsibility for a single damn thing, Biden blamed inflation, high prices, and everything wrong with the economy on some sort of corporate conspiracy.

The doddering failure-in-chief wanted to talk about a lot of things, but like most politicians what he really wanted was our money.

All of it if he can get it, lots of it if he can’t.

More money for his green energy donors who want to wreck our energy grid and put the cost of heating and cooling our homes out of reach. And then more electric cars so that no one who earns less than six figures will be able to afford a car. Then subsidized child care which even his allies have warned will price the cost of child care out of the reach of middle class families.

With inflation out of control, Biden proposed pushing it even higher with a minimum wage hike and mandatory unionization and the end of freelancers through the PRO Act.

Then it was time for Biden to declare victory in the pandemic. Rapidly changing science proved that the virus no longer spreads around State of the Union addresses, enabling the CDC to urge Americans to just follow the science, take off their masks, and vote for Joe Biden.

It’s the science!

“We can end the shutdown of schools and businesses. We have the tools we need,” Biden declared. The tools in question are polls that show even Democrats would rather french kiss a rattlesnake than wear masks at public events or do another year of virtual unlearning.

Biden then wrapped up the extended torture session that would have broken any of the Al Qaeda terrorists he recently freed from Gitmo by calling for open borders, illegal alien amnesty, abortion, and conducting gender experiments on young children. Then he closed by invoking God. At least unlike at the presidential debates, he didn't invoke Allah.

At this point, not even Allah wants to be associated with the Biden administration.

Squinting in defiant confusion, Biden angrily concluded by shouting, "Go get him."

The dozens of people watching were left to wonder whether he was talking to the voices in his head, an imaginary leprechaun, or his handlers in Beijing.

Americans meanwhile have already spoken.

In a USA Today poll, the top response from registered voters asking what they want Biden to do in the next year was, "resign, retire, or quit". Only 5% wanted him to tackle infrastructure, 3% wanted him to address health care, and only 3% were interested in global warming.

The country doesn’t want any of the clunkers that the son of a used car salesman wants to foist on them. It doesn’t want trillions more in debt so that Biden’s donors can get even richer. It doesn’t want to hear his inane ramblings or listen to his lies. All it wants is for him to go away

Widely Hated Leader of Economically Troubled Nation to Speak On "Optimism"

Not Putin, Biden.

Biden's domestic message for the State of the Union is going to be "optimism". Considering that Biden is hated by the country, which is deep in inflation, debt and general unhappiness, that's like the punchline to a Borsch Belt joke.

A pity that Jackie Mason is no longer around to tell it.

I can't think of any issue that Biden has less credibility on than optimism. And that's saying something. Worse still it smacks of a Carteresque moment.

Americans don't hire leaders to tell them about optimism. Inspirational messages are nice, but when detached from real action, are just hollow posturing.

Biden has nothing optimistic to offer Americans except the same old pitches for the same old hoary leftist agendas that don't address what people are living through and dealing with. The last thing anyone wants from the plumber who broke your toilet and left water all over the floor are life lessons on optimism.

SOTU: Biden Demands Lower Insulin Prices After Canceling Trump’s Order to Lower Them

President Joe Biden told Congress Tuesday evening in his State of the Union address to pass legislation to lower insulin prices — after he suspended, and then rescinded, former President Donald Trump’s executive order to lower them.

In his address, Biden said:

My plan to fight inflation will lower your costs and lower the deficit.

First – cut the cost of prescription drugs. Just look at insulin. One in ten Americans has diabetes. In Virginia, I met a 13-year-old boy named Joshua Davis.

He and his Dad both have Type 1 diabetes, which means they need insulin every day. Insulin costs about $10 a vial to make.

But drug companies charge families like Joshua and his Dad up to 30 times more. I spoke with Joshua’s mom.

Imagine what it’s like to look at your child who needs insulin and have no idea how you’re going to pay for it.

What it does to your dignity, your ability to look your child in the eye, to be the parent you expect to be.

Joshua is here with us tonight. Yesterday was his birthday. Happy birthday, buddy.

For Joshua, and for the 200,000 other young people with Type 1 diabetes, let’s cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month so everyone can afford it.

Drug companies will still do very well.

However, as Breitbart News noted last year, Biden suspended several Trump-era executive orders upon taking office, including one to lower the cost of insulin and epinephrine:

President Joe Biden’s first actions included a directive that suspends President Donald Trump’s executive order aimed at lowering the prices of insulin and epinephrine, which was to have gone into effect on Friday, January 22.

The directive, issued by White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, suspends new regulations for 60 days while the new administration can conduct a review.

Ultimately, the administration chose to rescind Trump’s executive order last October. Nevertheless, Biden has repeatedly demanded that Congress lower insulin prices, and he did it again in his State of the Union address.

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.                                                                      TOM FITTON - JUDICIAL WATCH

The wonders of life in Biden’s America (satire)

Although the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll shows Joe Biden’s approval at a dismal 37 percent, it still means millions of Americans think he’s doing a good job. Who are they? A satirical look at a day in the life of a progressive.

Dear Diary,

The office finally reopened! I knew Joe Biden would make the virus go away! To get there, I filled the car with gas at $6 a gallon—ouch! Of course, it’s Donald Trump’s fault. Trump should have done some digging himself to finish the Keystone Pipeline. I mean, he’s a builder, right? President Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline to save the environment, so it doesn’t really matter that it makes us dependent on Russian oil. Go, Joe!

I like working in the office and being with people. Management said employees need to wear three masks and stand 20 feet apart. Started the day with a mandatory online training tutorial that all employees must watch. It’s called “Providing Superb Customer Service While Embracing Black Lives Matter and Accepting Transgenders.” It was fantastic and I plan to watch it again tomorrow.

The breakroom has new company posters. My favorite shows our CEO standing by an assembly line holding a finished piece of equipment. He says, “Our product might be crap, but at least it was built by a diverse group of employees.” It’s in English and Chinese because the manufacturing plant is in Xinjiang where all those happy Uighur Muslims live. What a great company to work for!

Several coworkers had lunch at a nearby restaurant, but the service was very slow. The manager said he can’t find enough employees, so servers must cover more tables. Obviously, if Donald Trump had worked with Bernie Sanders and AOC to raise the minimum wage to $45 an hour, we wouldn’t have this problem. Can’t you feel the “Bern?”

On my way home, I stopped in the grocery store and found empty shelves. But that’s okay because after buying gas for my car, I only had enough money for one package of hot dogs. It’s Donald Trump’s fault that I can’t afford prime ribs.

Now that President Biden ended the virus, I am planning a party at my house. Everyone must show proof they’ve been vaccinated and boostered, wear a mask, use gloves when eating, stand 10 feet apart, and disinfect the bathroom every time they use it. The party is going to be so much fun!

After dinner, it was parent-teacher meetings at school. He/they said my son got an A+ on his/them essay about the United States being founded by a bunch of racists. My daughter’s painting showing Black Lives Matter burning a church won first prize and is on display in the main hallway. I am so proud of my kids.

Hubby said his car needs some repair work, but the parts are on backorder. If only Donald Trump had allowed manufacturing companies to build more plants in Communist China, we wouldn’t have this supply chain problem. But what’s important is that Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg is home nursing his babies.

I suggested hubby take public transportation as that helps save the environment. Everyone must make sacrifices. Look at Barack and Michelle Obama. They sacrificed by having one of their palatial mansions built inland rather than overlooking the water. This way, if climate change makes the oceans rise .0001 percent, the Obamas have a safe house to live in with Valerie Jarrett.

Finally, the long and busy day ended with us watching the latest news on MSNBC. Rachel Maddow did an expose about how Russia spelled backward is “aissur.” If you say “aissur” fast, it sounds like “oh sure,” which Trump once said during a press conference in 2017, so it’s obvious that everything bad happening now is Donald Trump’s fault.

As my husband and I said goodnight, we closed our eyes happy in the knowledge that Joe Biden is running the country from his Delaware basement. Whatever happens tomorrow, it will be Donald Trump’s fault.

Mo Brooks: Senate GOP Must Block Biden’s ‘Radical Left-Wing’ SCOTUS Pick

Senate Republicans must block President Joe Biden’s “radical left-wing” nominee to the United States Supreme Court, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) said.

Jackson, appointed by Biden to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit last year, previously served on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and is now looking to replace Justice Stephen Breyer.

Brooks, who is running for Senate in Alabama, called Jackson a “radical left-wing” judicial activist who “has an established record of dismissing established law and usurping the separation of powers defined in the Constitution.”

“It is a bedrock principle of the American Republic that justices should not substitute their policy beliefs for the policy beliefs of America’s properly elected Congresses and presidents,” Brooks said:

Republicans must use every tool available to fight and stop this nomination. I call on my Republican colleagues in the Senate to block this nomination by holding up any vote until a constitutional jurist is nominated. [Emphasis added]

Brooks said that as a Senator, he “will only nominate and vote for great judges like Justice Gorsuch, Justice Kavanaugh, and Justice Amy Coney Barrett.”

“I will also fight to hold up votes on any nominees that will do further damage to America,” Brooks said. “Nobody will fight liberal activist judges like I will. I’ll be the left’s worst nightmare.”

As Breitbart News reported, Jackson has been praised by former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI). Jackson and Ryan are family, connected by marriage. Jackson’s husband, Patrick Jackson, is the twin brother of Ryan’s brother-in-law William Jackson.

Likewise, Jackson has received applause from gun control organizations.

In a couple of federal immigration cases, Jackson ruled against former President Trump’s border controls to reduce asylum fraud and more quickly return illegal aliens to their native countries. Jackson has also refused to use the terms “alien” and “illegal alien” in her rulings, instead opting for “noncitizen” and “undocumented noncitizen.”

While announcing Jackson’s nomination, Biden suggested that he came to the decision by concluding that U.S. federal courts “haven’t looked like America.”

(CNS News) -- A new survey, completed before Russia invaded Ukraine, showed that 78% of Americans are dissatisfied with the way things are going in the U.S.. In addition, on the economy, 70% said things are getting worse.

This Gallup poll was conducted Feb. 1-17; a random sample of 1,008 American adults, 18 and older, from all 50 states and the District of Columbia, were interviewed by telephone.

Gallup asked, "In general, are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the way things are going in the United States at this time?"

In response, only 21% said they were satisfied while 78% were dissatisfied.

"A year ago, the national mood was brightening as Americans started receiving COVID-19 vaccines, and the economy was opening up in the first months of the Biden presidency," said Gallup.  "But after peaking at 36% [satisfied] last May, Americans' satisfaction with the direction of the country headed back down -- in part due to rising COVID-19 cases but also mounting inflation -- and has yet to recover."

"The latest poll was conducted amid reports that Russia was positioning its military forces along its border with Ukraine, but ended before President Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of the country," said the survey firm.

Gallup also asked, "What do you think is the most important problem facing this country today? [Open-ended]"

In response, 30% said the economy. This included the "economy in general" and "high cost of living/inflation," along with several other economic measures. (See chart.)

Twenty percent also named "the government/poor leadership" as an important problem.  Only 2% said the "environment/pollution/climate change" was an important problem.

Gallup further asked, "Right now, do you think that economic conditions in the country as a whole are getting better or getting worse?"

In response, 70% said "getting worse." Only 26% said "getting better."

"Biden will deliver his State of the Union address to the nation Tuesday evening at a time when Americans are glum about the country's direction," reported Gallup.  "While Americans have a variety of reasons for feeling things are off track, on the whole, the continuation of the pandemic, ongoing inflation and partisan frustrations seem to be at the heart of their discontent."

Report: Biden Admin Cut Line from SOTU Speech Endorsing Ban on Congress Trading Stocks

During his State of the Union (SOTU) address on Tuesday evening, President Joe Biden declined to endorse a bipartisan plan to ban members of Congress from holding or trading stocks.

The Washington Post reported that earlier drafts of Biden’s address included an endorsement of banning members of Congress from trading stocks, but a transcript of the speech reveals it was ultimately cut — mentioning only the Russian stock market.

In December 2021, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that Congress and their family members should not be banned from trading stocks because “we’re a free market economy.”

The remark came after it was revealed that 54 Republicans and Democrats in Congress failed to properly disclose their transactions in accordance with Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge (STOCK) Act.

The watchdog organization Unusual Whales has revealed that, on average, members of Congress beat the market in 2021 with hundreds of millions of dollars in stock trades. Those who faired the best were Reps. Austin Scott (R-GA), Brian Mast (R-FL), French Hill (R-AR), John Curtis (R-UT), Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

Likewise, Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR) previously said lawmakers are undoubtedly influenced by their stocks when it comes to legislation and the industries they are supposed to be regulating like Wall Street and giant tech conglomerates.

Banning members of Congress from trading stocks is hugely popular among Americans.

A Trafalgar Group survey revealed that 76 percent of Americans believe lawmakers have an “unfair advantage” when it comes to the stock market. Only five percent support permitting the practice.
