NAFTA JOE BIDEN - AMERICANS, THE MIDDLE CLASS ARE NOT GOING TO SWALLOW MY POPULIST LIES AGAIN - WE NEED MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR MORE

Texas DPS spokesperson warns of ‘complete chaos' at border

Just in time for midterms, Joe Biden sets off the mother of migrant surges

The U.S. Border Patrol expects a record surge of migrants from 157 countries crossing our border illegally, with most presenting spurious claims to "asylum."

The Daily Mail reports:

The U.S. will see 1 million migrant encounters in the first half of Fiscal Year 2022, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP), as the administration plans to start administering coronavirus vaccines to those in custody as it weighs ending Title 42 as early as next month.

This figure just accounts for migrants encountered, meaning there could be thousands of other 'gotaways' who evaded CBP when illegally crossing into the U.S.

Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz told Fox News that in the next few days, CBP will have encountered 1 million migrants from when the federal fiscal year started in October 2022.

Sure it's a big number — and the fiscal year is only half over.

But we ain't seen nuthin' yet.

These monster numbers come as Joe Biden has set the conditions for an even bigger surge — on two fronts.

One is in his executive order to replace immigration judges with newly created "asylum officers" brought in from the NGO open-borders ranks, to make decisions on asylum claims.  These are people you can bet will rubber-stamp all asylum claims, regardless of what the law says.

The second incentive is in Biden's expected decision to scrap Title 42, an erratically employed executive order that allows Border Patrol agents to deport illegal crossers on COVID concerns.  Based on the numbers of COVID-spreading migrants, such as in this instance here, it's pretty obvious that that order was used on only some migrants.  Now it won't be used on any of them if the rule is rescinded on May 23, which seems likely following whatever recommendation the CDC puts out as its de facto union masters direct.  The laughable claim now is that they'll offer them COVID vaccines, free of charge (to them), as if migrants who openly break the law can be trusted to come back for their second shot.  Those who refuse will be sent back, unless they file an asylum claim, in which case they'll be allowed to stay but "stringently" monitored.  Kind of like Afghan refugees being stringently vetted, right, Joe?  Kids and babies will likely be forced to take them, too — and guess who will pay the medical bills and lawsuit bills when they get vaccine injuries?  What could go wrong?

Both of those actions add up to two new incentives to cross the border illegally, just as the cartel human-smuggling networks have ramped up and improved their human-cargo pipelines, given the numbers seen.  The current forecast is 18,000 migrants a day, up from the 7,000 or so being "encountered" today.  You can bet that the numbers are going to be a hell of a lot higher than last year's 1.7 million illegal border crossings now that the risk of getting sent back is just about zero now.  It's as sure as the sun coming up.

What's interesting here, though, is that this Biden lunacy comes just as midterms are approaching.

That surge won't hurt Republicans, but it will serve as a guided missile targeted at Democrats.

And what stands out is how many Democrats, particularly from border states, are clearly worried about it.

According to Fox News:

"Given the impacts that changes to Title 42 could have on border communities, border security, and migrants, we urge your administration not to make any changes to Title 42 implementation until you are completely ready to execute and coordinate a comprehensive plan that ensures a secure, orderly, and humane process at the border," Arizona Sens. Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema said in a letter to President Biden last week.

There's also this from Bill Melugin of Fox News, citing a group of lawmakers which include Democrats:

That suggests panic time for Democrats in the most vulnerable geographical area for Democrats, the south Texas border corridors, which have shifted red as the human waves of human-smuggling have already inundated those regions, never mind what's coming up.

What the intensified surge will do is remind residents that Joe Biden has no intention of shifting course, nor does he care in the least about the American communities along the border most affected by the migrant surge.  The Biden administration has been trying to hide just how many illegal migrants it's allowing in, but there's no hiding anything from the border communities at the tip of the spear, because these communities see everything.

That's why Democrats are alarmed, and should be.  Joe Biden has basically pitched his own Democrat base over the side, and rather than try to regain the voters who are moving to other parties, he's writing the whole area off.  A border surge never bothers Joe Biden, or, for that matter, his border "czar," Kamala Harris.

But it clearly is concentrating the minds of those Democrats who are likely to be thrown out by the voters.  We are seeing noises now, but this may be nothing compared to what is to come as the surge hits record highs.

Democrats must be spitting mad at this mop in the face from senile old Joe just as they try to make their case to voters.  They may get a bit angrier than just angry enough to send stern letters to Biden, as has been done, given the size of the surge ahead of midterms.  If it gets bad enough, and they decide they don't want to be the sacrificial lambs for the Biden administration, they may withhold votes for the upcoming Supreme Court slot, or possibly break for the Republicans themselves.

Senate Republicans Warn Border Patrol 'Will Simply Lose Control' If Title 42 Is Lifted

(CNSNews.com) - A group of Senate Republicans stepped up to the microphone on Wednesday to warn what will happen when the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lifts the (temporary) Title 42 public health authority that has allowed the U.S. to rapidly expel illegal immigrants during the COVID pandemic.

On the same day, at least two members of the Biden administration agreed that lifting Title 42 will increase the already historic pace of illegal immigration.

"Look, we have a -- a pattern of migration, and we are preparing to ramp up for a traditional pattern of additional people coming across the border," OMB Director Shalanda Young told the Senate Budget Committee on Wednesday.

When Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) asked her, "Do you support eliminating Title 42 deportation authority?" Young replied, "I don't have a personal opinion."

At the White House on Wednesday, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield said the Biden administration is "planning for multiple contingencies, and we have every expectation that when the CDC ultimately decides it’s appropriate to lift Title 42, there will be an influx of people to the border, and so we are doing a lot of work to plan for that contingency."

At the press conference led by Sen. John Cornyn, from the border state of Texas, Republican senators said if you think things are bad now, just wait:

"We've had a historic number of what are euphemistically called border 'encounters,'" during the Biden administration, Cornyn said. "The problem is, this is a hodgepodge of everything from economic migrants, to sex offenders, to drug dealers, to people who are convicted felons.'

He noted that many of the illegal aliens are not vaccinated, and COVID isn't the only health concern:

“Title 42 is scheduled to expire unless it's extended," Cornyn said. "The Border Patrol tell me that if it expires without a plan being put into place to allow them to handle this volume of migrants, they will simply lose control of the border. There's only so much that the Border Patrol can do."

Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) gave numbers: "If you take just the first 14 months of the Biden Administration, 2.3 million people illegally crossed our border. To put that in perspective, the first 14 months of the Biden Administration had as many illegal crossings as the previous four years the Trump Administration did, combined," he said.

He noted that the Biden administration has had a year to plan for the lifting of Title  42 -- and now the plan is becoming clear:

"Their plan is to move people into the country faster. That’s their whole plan," Lankford said. "What they have worked on apparently for a year is a way to expedite people crossing the border and moving into the interior at a faster rate,” Lankford said.

"As they talk about mass migration, they talk about, 'How do we actually move people to the interior faster so they don’t get clogged up at the border,' and the images that all of you saw last summer don’t occur again at the border with thousands and thousands and thousands of people.

"That is not a plan to help us with illegal immigration," Lankford said. He noted that, by the Biden Administration's own estimates, "a million people will illegally cross the border within six weeks, at the moment that they drop Title 42. They’re aware of what they’re about to release," he said.

“At some point, a public health emergency is not a policy," said Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio). He noted the 40 percent increase in deadly fentanyl coming across the border last year. He said fentanyl accounts for two-thirds of the deaths in his state of Ohio.

Portman said the current lax immigration system is bringing people to the border, including Russians and Ukrainians. "And I’m told...that these individuals are flying to places like Cancun and Mexico City and coming up to the border. Any why wouldn't they? It's the pull factor."

Portman says would-be immigrants should be applying for asylum in their own country, then receiving immediate adjudication when and if they reach the U.S. border -- "And let's get this under control," he said.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said not only does the Biden administration lack a solution to the border crisis -- "they don't intend to change; they want millions more to come in, year after year after year."

Cruz faulted the Biden administration for scrapping Trump’s promised border wall, reinstating catch and release, and ending Trump's successful Remain in Mexico policy.

Gunmen Dressed as Mexican Cops Threaten to Burn Journalists Alive

Gunmen dressed as police threatened journalists in Mexico with setting them on fire to deter reporting on a story. The threats come as the country draws international attention after nine journalists were already murdered in 2022.

The incident took place Tuesday when journalists with El Universal were meeting with environmental activists near Tecamac, Mexico State. The activists were denouncing a mineral mine necessary for the construction materials of a new airport.

When the journalists were documenting the area, gunmen in a pickup pulled up and began issuing threats, El Universal reported. The gunmen fired weapons into the air as they forced two female reporters and a photographer to delete their work. They were threatened with death if they returned.

The reporters claimed one of the gunmen wearing a vest with a state police patch assaulted an activist and then wielded a gas can while threatened to burn everyone alive. Eventually, the gunmen allowed the group to leave.

The threats against El Universal come as Mexico has recorded the murders of nine journalists this year. Press freedom groups label the country as the deadliest for news workers outside of active war zones.

Rather than acknowledge the crisis, President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has taken a confrontational approach against international criticism, calling Western politicians “sheep, corrupt, and interventionist” in various statements.
