THE MUSLIM THREAT TO AMERICA - Ilhan and Imran's Incredible Islamophobia Intimacy A shared campaign to destroy the freedom of speech. Mon Apr 25, 2022Robert Spencer12 comments

It’s Muslim Roulette. Even the most “moderate” and “peaceful” Muslims can, out of the blue, commit the most obscene acts of violence, but with no prior warning signs. These Muslims may not act outwardly any different than they have before, but internally, they began to take Islam seriously. And the more serious a Muslim takes Islam, the more potentially dangerous he or she is. Here’s what I mean by Muslim Roulette:

A is A. Islam is Islam. There is no such thing as “Good” Islam or “Bad” Islam. Islam is a totalitarian religion, while Muslims are individual human beings who may or may not practice Islam faithfully. There are active Muslims and passive Muslims, the faithful and the unfaithful, the submitted and the un-submitted in Islam, but there is no obvious way to tell the difference between them, which has its benefits for Muslims who are committed to spreading Islam by any means necessary. Mohammad said “War is deceit” and practiced this, and Muslims have followed their leader in using deception against non-Muslims from the first days of Islam to today. When Islam, the very antithesis of peace, is sold to us by Muslims and their useful idiots as being the very definition of peace, and actually gains traction, that would have made Goebbels blush.

Ilhan and Imran's Incredible Islamophobia Intimacy

A shared campaign to destroy the freedom of speech.

During the recent visit to Pakistan of the ever-winsome and fiercely patriotic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Islamabad), she made sure to visit Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan, whose Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party proudly tweeted: “US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (@Ilhan) called on @ImranKhanPTI in Bani Gala. They discussed Islamophobia & related issues. Ilhan Omar expressed her admiration for Imran Khan and his work for Muslims globally.” That’s right: there is war in Ukraine, the U.S. Southern border is nonexistent, crime is rampant, inflation has skyrocketed, and an American elected official found the time to travel halfway around the world to discuss “Islamophobia.”

This is an issue that is dear to both of their hearts. Omar is a cosponsor of the Combating International Islamophobia Act, which the House passed in December. The bill calls upon the president to appoint a “special envoy” to fight “Islamophobia”; this envoy will head up a State Department that will monitor the phenomenon. Omar’s bill, however, is wrongly focused in all kinds of ways, not least of which is the fact that it will combat efforts to “promote racial hatred” against Muslims, even though Islam is not a race and there are Muslims among people of all races. Meanwhile, the raucous House debate raised other problems with the bill as well, including the likelihood that it will inhibit counterterror efforts.

“The office,” says the Washington Post, “would record instances of Islamophobia, including violence against and harassment of Muslims and vandalism of their mosques, schools and cemeteries worldwide, in reports created by the State Department.” That’s fine, although it’s striking that there is no similar call for the State Department to create reports about violence against and harassment of Christians and vandalism of their churches, schools, and cemeteries worldwide, or violence against Hindus or any other religious group. Why the special treatment for Muslims? It can’t be because Muslims are uniquely the victims of persecution around the world; Christians are by far the most persecuted religious group.

Of even greater concern, however, is that the new “Islamophobia” office would target “propaganda efforts by state and nonstate media ‘to promote racial hatred or incite acts of violence against Muslim people.’” As noted above, Islam is not a race, so “racial hatred” against Muslim people is not even possible. But if the way that the word “Islamophobia” has been used up to now is any indication, what is considered to be propaganda or incitement will be based entirely on subjective criteria, and include even reporting about jihad activity and honest analysis of its motivating ideology.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) noted this, saying: “It is so vague and subjective that it could be used against legitimate speech for partisan purposes. Even the term ‘phobia’ [connotes] irrational fear, not discrimination.”

Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pennsylvania) also warned that the bill would be used “to silence dissent and critiques of terrorism.” He added: “By intentionally leaving the definition of ‘Islamophobia’ blank in this bill, the gentlelady and my friends on the other side of the aisle are creating an office in our State Department that will likely spew antisemitic hatred and attack Western ideas throughout the world under the farce of protecting Islam.”

That would be just fine with Imran Khan, who has been doing just that for quite some time. For years, he has been campaigning for the West to adopt Sharia blasphemy laws and restrict the freedom of speech under the guise of prohibiting “Islamophobia.” In October 2020 at the UN, he justified Islamic violence in reaction to perceived insults of Muhammad, saying: “It is important to understand this: the Prophet lives in our hearts. When he is ridiculed, when he is insulted, it hurts the—As we human know, we human beings understand one thing: the pain of the heart is far, far, far more hurtful than physical pain. And that’s why the Muslims react.” Oh, well, then it’s okay. Jews, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists have grown accustomed to insults to their faith in the public square, but Khan didn’t think Muslims had any obligation to do so; rather, all others were expected to bow to the sensibilities of Muslims.

That followed his words at the UN in September 2019, when Khan said: “The human community lives together; there should be an understanding. But Islamophobia is dividing the world. Muslim women have been asked to take off their hijab in other countries. A woman can take off her clothes in other countries but cannot put on Hijab.” He said nothing about the many women who have been threatened, brutalized, or even killed for not wearing hijab, or about the ongoing persecution of Christians and Hindus in Pakistan. For him, Muslim victimhood is all that matters, as a tool to intimidate the world into adopting Sharia prohibitions on criticism of Islam. Apparently that is Ilhan Omar’s goal as well.

Ramadan: When Muslims Revel in Islam’s Violent History

During the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast, pray, engage in acts of piety and charity, and reminisce over warfare and bloodshed in the name of Islam.

Virtually every Ramadan features various Islamic authorities, personages, and/or institutes reminding Muslims to take pride in and celebrate various historic battles between Muslims and non-Muslims, or “infidels” (as in this hour-long televised special). Among other things, such victories are meant to demonstrate the power, and thus truth, of Islam.

This alone should underscore Islam’s innate militancy in comparison to other religions. It further suggests that Islam is a worldly religion, one that takes pride and finds validation in something as corporeal and temporal as victory in warfare (with all the attendant collection of booty and slaves that entails).

By way of analogy, and to better appreciate Ramadan-time celebrations of jihad, imagine Christians gathered together in church during Christmas or Easter.  Then, the officiating pastor or priest eulogizes the bloody military conquests Christians had over non-Christians during Christmas or Easter -- even as the congregants cheer or at least feel deep pride in their Christian faith.

Not only is such a scenario exceedingly difficult to imagine -- ultimately a reflection of how utterly different Christianity and Islam are from one another -- but many of today’s Christians have become so anti-war as to characterize even self-defense as “un-Christian.”  That, at least, is what the head of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, seems to think: recently, while condemning war, he went so far as also to condemn Just War, the idea that war is legitimate when waged for just reasons (self-defense, liberating conquered peoples or territory, etc.)

Hence the double irony: most of the wars that took place on, and which Muslims celebrate every Ramadan had nothing to do with just war, and were in fact aggressive and imperialistic in nature.

An article on the popular website AboutIslam.net makes all this clear.  Titled, “7 Remarkable Islamic Victories That Took Place in Ramadan,” it opens by saying, “Ramadan is a special month that’s full of blessings for the Muslim Ummah. It is not only famous for fasting and charity, but also for great Islamic victories that changed the world.”

Examining the list, however, there is no question that at least five of the seven military episodes it mentions -- the battle of Badr and the conquests of Mecca, Spain, Crimea, and Nubia -- were unjust, meaning they had nothing to do with Muslims engaging in self-defense or liberating their conquered territories and everything to do with Muslims waging unprovoked wars of conquest in search of plunder.

For example, although much extolled in Islamic historiography for being Islam’s first major victory over infidels, when stripped of its hagiographical veneer, the battle of Badr (624 AD) appears to have been little more than a caravan raid, driven by lust for booty.

Similarly, Muslims were the aggressors in the various conquests highlighted by AboutIslam.net for taking place on Ramadan.  During these conquests, Muslims invaded non-Muslim territories, butchered and enslaved their inhabitants, and appropriated their lands -- and for no other reason, and under no other logic, than that they were “infidels,” non-Muslims.

The eighth-century invasion and subsequent conquest of Spain, for instance, featured hordes of invading Muslims slaughtering countless thousands of Christians and torching their churches (in one notable incident in Cordoba, the Muslims managed to kill two birds with one stone when they torched a church with its inhabitants trapped inside).

The same with the Crimea.  Originally inhabited by Slavic peoples, Muslims -- Turks and Tatars -- brutally conquered it in the fifteenth century and turned it into an emporium of white flesh.  An estimated three million Slavs -- Poles, Lithuanians, Russians, and Ukrainians -- were enslaved and, according to a contemporary chronicle, sold “like sheep” between 1450 and 1783.

This is what Muslims are supposed to remember and celebrate during their holy month -- during their equivalent of a “Christmas” or “Easter” season: the unprovoked invasions and bloody subjugations their ancestors undertook in the name of Islam against people whose only “crime” was to be non-Muslims.  (Little wonder that, so riled, Muslims not infrequently randomly and murderously assault infidels in their midst.)

Incidentally, taking pride in Islamic violence is not limited to “radical” sheikhs or websites; it is quite mainstream.  Thus, not only is the popular English language website, AboutIslam.net, considered “moderate” and meant to put a good face on Islam before infidels; the aforementioned article celebrating seven battles/conquests during Ramadan was published by the website’s “Family & Life” team.

Before closing, and lest Muslims truly believe that Ramadan is exclusively a month of victorious jihads, let it be noted that Muslims also lost a fair bit of military engagements during their holy month -- the pivotal Battle of Tours (732), when outnumbered Franks halted Islam’s advance into Europe, being just one of the more memorable.

Pro-Palestinian Protesters in U.S. Cities Call for Violent ‘Intifada’ Against Israel

As Palestinian violence on the Temple Mount has intensified in recent days, hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrated in U.S. cities calling for deadly violence and an end to the Jewish state. In one incident, a Jewish counter-protester was allegedly punched in the face for carrying an Israeli flag.

Over the last week, anti-Israel demonstrators in the United States publicly called for an end to the State of Israel as they advocated for a violent uprising against the Jewish state.

At one rally in Los Angeles, protestors were seen waving Palestinian flags, with signs calling to “Free Palestine” and end “ethnic cleansing.”

In a clip of the event, a woman leads the crowd to the chant: “We don’t want two states, we want all of ‘48,” in reference to Israel’s establishment in 1948 and the so-called “two-state solution,” which calls for the creation of a Palestinian state in exchange for peace with the Jewish state.

However, every Israeli offer for statehood has been rejected by the Palestinians, and in most cases, countered with major escalations in violence, including the infamous launching of the deadly Second Intifada in response to the Camp David peace talks.

“No peace on stolen land,” the woman is also seen shouting, in support of the violent Palestinian riots that have taken place in Israel over the last week.

In another clip, protesters chant, “Long live the intifada!” in reference to the violent uprisings against the Jewish state.

Palestinians have launched two intifadas against the Jewish state, the second of which took place at the start of the millennium and saw hundreds of terror attacks and thousands of deaths over a four-year span.

In New York, protesters carried signs supporting “resistance” and “revolution,” and freedom for “Palestine” “from the river to the sea.”

Implying that “Palestine” rests between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea — where Israel currently exists — the statement is code for eradicating the Jewish state and its millions of Jewish citizens.

According to StopAntisemitism, a watchdog group dedicated to fighting antisemitic incitement, a Jewish counter-protester with an Israeli flag was physically assaulted at the midtown Manhattan rally.

Other signs called for Palestinian liberation “by any means necessary.”

Protesters also called for the release of all Palestinian prisoners — many convicted of violent crimes, including murder, of innocent Israeli civilians — while “saluting their leadership in the liberation movement.”

The rally was chaired by Nerdeen Kiswani, founder of Within Our Lifetime – United for Palestine (WOL).

Kiswani won the title “antisemite of the year” by Stopantisemitism.org last year following several incidents of terrorist glorification, threatening violence, and having been accused of spreading hate “by disguising it as criticisms of Israel.”

Kiswani is also the former president of the City of New York University (CUNY) branch of the radical Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), whose activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated, and harassed Jewish students on campus.

According to WOL’s website, the group opposes Zionism, which it describes as “a settler-colonial white supremacist ideology,” and rejects any peaceful “collaboration and dialogue” with Zionist groups.

“The liberation of Palestine requires the abolition of zionism,” it declares.

The site also calls for both foreign and domestic resistance against the U.S., claiming to “uphold the right of all oppressed nationality people in the United States and around the world to engage in all forms of struggle in pursuit of freedom.”

“We have a responsibility as those living within the United States to resist the violence of the U.S. empire at home and abroad,” the site states. “As Internationalists, we believe that all people have the right to self-determination, and we stand in solidarity with all national liberation struggles across the globe resisting U.S. imperialism.”

After one rally in New Jersey, participants were seen outside a Jewish fraternity house at Rutgers University in an attempt to harass the Jewish students.

Similar protests took place in Berlin and London.

In Berlin, demonstrators were caught on film screaming “dirty Jews.”

The protests come as ongoing clashes between Israeli forces and violent Palestinian rioters have erupted on the Temple Mount, following visits of Jews to the site and the rioters’ attempts to prevent them from doing so.

In one incident, a group of Jewish worshippers in the Old City of Jerusalem was filmed being violently attacked by several Palestinians.

The mount is Judaism’s holiest site and Islam’s third holiest. It is administered by the Jordanian Islamic Waqf, which prohibits Jewish and Christian prayer.

Jews are currently barred from entering until the end of Ramadan at the start of next month.

On Wednesday, Israeli police were attacked with rocks and firebombs hurled from within the mosque, with some igniting fires within the mosque. Several Palestinian were arrested as a result.

“The violence endangers worshipers attempting to enter the mosque, and impeded police efforts to ensure freedom of worship at the site,” Israel’s Foreign Ministry said. “The Molotov Cocktails set fire to a mat and a window causing fires that luckily were extinguished before greater damage was done.”

The current tensions follow a terror wave in Israel that saw several attacks on Israeli citizens over two weeks, resulting in 14 deaths.

The deadliest occurred in the Tel Aviv suburb of Bnei Brak, claiming five lives. Palestinians in multiple cities came out in masses to celebrate the attacks while handing out sweets to passersby.

VIDEO: California Man Charged in Stabbing Deaths of Coworker, Roommate

A man from Irvine, California, was charged in the stabbing deaths of a coworker and the coworker’s roommate in Anaheim, and is being held without bail.

“Ramy Hany Mounir Fahim, 26, is charged with two counts of murder, and two enhancements each of lying in wait, multiple murders, and the personal use of a deadly weapon,” NBC Los Angeles reported Friday, adding his arraignment is set for May 6.

Fahim allegedly stabbed coworker Griffin Cuomo, 23, then stabbed Cuomo’s roommate, Jonathan Bahm, 23, during an attack that happened inside their Katella Avenue apartment early Tuesday.

Cuomo and Fahim worked for an Orange County wealth management company, but it was not clear what led to the attack at the building near Angel Stadium.

In a social media post Wednesday, the Anaheim Police Department said it arrested Fahim:

Anaheim police officers found the bodies inside an apartment on the fifth floor. “What I can tell you it’s a pretty extensive crime scene with a lot of physical evidence,” explained Anaheim police Sgt. Shane Carringer.

According to officials, several individuals called 911 about an assault in progress. Upon arrival, they found the two young men dead, a knife, and an injured person identified as Fahim.

A security guard encountered the suspect prior to the incident on the complex’s roof, according to prosecutors.

Video footage showed the outside of the apartment building and officers working inside a hallway:

Meanwhile, Fahim’s Honda Civic was found parked next to Angel Stadium.

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer said Friday the 26-year-old was charged with special circumstances murders for the stabbings, adding, “The special circumstances of lying in wait and multiple murders make him eligible for the death penalty.”

It appeared to be an isolated incident, Carringer told NBC, but “what is still a mystery is motive.”

Some individuals at the scene told officials they were employees of Pence Wealth Management, who came to check on a coworker that had not shown up at the office.

French Election: 60 Per Cent Support Banning Islamic Veil in Public

A poll released this week suggests that six in ten French people would support the government banning the Islamic veil in public spaces, a policy favoured by Presidential election hopeful Marine Le Pen.

The poll, which was conducted by the CSA Institute, was published on Thursday and reveals that 60 per cent of respondents were favourable to banning the Islamic veil in public spaces, with only 16 per cent of those surveyed saying they were entirely against a ban.

Men were more likely to support the ban on the Islamic veil with 65 per cent agreeing with the proposal, compared to 56 per cent of women. In terms of age groups, those over 65 were the most likely back the proposal, while people aged 18 to 24 were less likely but a majority still agreed with the ban, CNews reports.

A recent study in France from the Paris School of Economics has offered evidence that would appear to support potentially positive outcomes from a headscarf ban in public. Researching the impact of the Islamic garment being banned by France in schools from the 1990s, the paper reported the order was: “followed by a significant improvement in the academic performance of female students in the Muslim group.”

During Wednesday’s debate between Presiden Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen ahead of the second round of the French presidential elections this weekend, the topic of a possible ban on the Islamic veil was mentioned.

“I am in favour of banning the veil in public spaces. The veil is a uniform imposed by the Islamists, a large part of the young women who put it on cannot do otherwise in reality, even if they do not dare to say it. We must release all these women and for that, we must ban the veil in public spaces,” Le Pen said.

President Macron, however, was against such a move, saying, “The question of the veil is the question of religion. I am for the law of 1905, it is our Republic. The Republic is secular. Secularism is not about fighting a religion.”

“With me, there will be no ban on the headscarf, nor the kippah nor any religious symbol, in the public space. The principle of equality is that if you enter into this logic Madame Le Pen, you will ban all religious symbols in public spaces and not just the headscarf,” Macron added.

Earlier this month while campaigning ahead of the first round of the presidential election, President Macron praised a woman wearing an Islamic veil as a “feminist” but decried French people who were against Wuhan coronavirus lockdowns saying they were not living in the “real world.”

Since homosexuality is illegal in the Islamic countries in the Middle East, the film didn’t get the approval of the censorship boards.

Previously films such as Eternals and West Side Story were banned in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait, too.

Surge In Germans Migrating to South America to Escape Muslim Migrants at Home: BBC

Paraguay is seeing a surge in German migrants, fleeing Islamic migrants in their own country and onerous coronavirus restrictions.

“We have a problem in Germany with Muslims,” said one of the exiles, adding: “Islam and vaccinations are big, big problems in this world.”

The German, named as Michael Schwartz and said to have arrived in Paraguay in November 2021, told the BBC that he had avoided taking coronavirus vaccinations — which the German health minister wants to make compulsory, although there is resistance to the policy in the federal legislature — because there are “many questions” around them, suggesting that “many Paraguayans” share his stance.

Stephan Hausen, another German emigrée who arrived in Paraguay with his family in the same month as Schwartz, raised similar concerns, in particular about “continuous” lockdowns which had left him “dumbfounded”.

“That was the final straw,” he said — although like Schwartz he also expressed concerns about Islamic migration to Germany.

“I think we should have more regulated migration [to Germany],” said Hausen’s wife, Theresa, suggesting that Berlin should cap the number of migrants allowed into the country and plan accordingly.

“We need to have a say in this!” she continued, perhaps alluding to the fact that notionally conservative former chancellor Angela Merkel, who opened the proverbial floodgates in 2015, did not campaign on a platform of mass migration — indeed, she declared that multiculturalism had “utterly failed” in 2010.

“Paraguay, in our experience, is a very Christian country, and we come from a Christian culture,” added her husband.

“We’ve got to know a great many people here and we’re on the same wavelength. In Germany it can’t happen like this, because in general the Muslims act so provocatively,” he said.

A pensive-looking Theresa appeared to try and dissuade him from continuing in this vein with a nervous “my dear”, prompting Stephan to tell his BBC interviewer: “Maybe this shouldn’t be filmed. It sounds a bit too harsh. We don’t want that.”

The publicly-funded British broadcaster aired the comments regardless.

A woman given the pseudonym “Hana” who helps Germans settle in Paraguay was also hesitant to express herself openly, speaking to the BBC only on the condition that they did not show her face or use her real name.

She claimed that the emigrants “want to protect their children”, saying that, in Germany, girls now “get raped, openly harassed in public spaces, because they are not wearing the [Islamic] veil.”

“A German woman is worth nothing to them,” she alleged, prompting her BBC interviewer to ask if she had “any evidence” to back up her claims.

“No, these are just my people who tell me that,” Hana responded, denying that she was racist and saying the only thing that mattered to her was having respect for the mainstream culture.

More hypocrisy from Hollywood

Marvel’s most recent installment, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, has been banned in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar.

The reason according to The Hollywood Reporter, is that the film has a gay character named America Chavez, who also features in the comics.

Marvel’s Eternals had a gay character with a major role. The film also depicted two male characters sharing a kiss and a gay couple adopting a child.  In West Side Storythe character named Anybodys was written as transgender in the new adaptation, and played by nonbinary actor Iris Menas.

In China, streaming platforms censored the running lesbian plotline in the TV series "Friends" All mentions of the homosexuality of one of the series' main characters, Ross’s wife, was expunged. Also in China, the film Bohemian Rhapsody about the life of British rock star Freddie Mercury was released with two minutes of LGBTQ content removed.

So how did the dogmatically pro-LGBTQ Hollywood, particularly Disney, which owns Marvel, react to these bans?

They chose a path of silence and placed business interests above LGBTQ rights.

It is not just movie bans in these countries. LGBTQ behavior itself is punishable by lashes, and prolonged prison sentences in Muslim countries such as Algeria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Syria, Brunei, and Egypt. China's record on LGBT rights also is repressive.

Hollywood relentlessly talks about its compassion for minority groups. Prominent denizens donated to Black Lives Matter and even bailed out BLM rioters to show their commitment.

Human rights groups believe China has detained more than one million Uyghur Muslims over the past few years in a large network of state "re-education camps," and sentenced hundreds of thousands to prison terms.

Countries such as Kuwait, Lebanon, Qatar, Jordan, Tunisia, and other Islamic countries in the Middle East and North Africa have consistently banned films starring actress Gal Gadot because she is Jewish and Israeli.

Hollywood once again hasn't uttered a syllable against these blatant acts of religious discrimination and human rights violations. The business continues as normal.

After Russia’s intervention in Ukraine, Hollywood studios such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Universal, Sony Pictures, and Paramount stopped releasing new films in Russia.

But when Florida passed a law that prevents classroom indoctrination on “sexual orientation or gender identity” for very young children, Disney went ballistic.

The bill was mischaracterized as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Bill. The noise created almost gave the impression that LGBTQ behavior was outlawed in Florida.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek was attacked for not speaking up and employees staged a walkout in protest.

In reaction, Disney vowed to donate $5 million to organizations, including the Human Rights Campaign, that work to protect LGBTQ rights. Executives are holding town hall meetings on how to better serve the LGBTQ community in the future.

Pixar employees asked that their parent company, Disney, “take a decisive public stand” against the legislation and reinstated a same-sex kiss in the upcoming Pixar film “Lightyear” that was previously removed.

Disney proclaimed that they “are dedicated to standing up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members of the Disney family, as well as the LGBTQ+”

Alas, no such proclamations for LGBTQ people in Muslim nations and China where there is real danger and discrimination.

The truth is that Hollywood’s sole aim is reaping profits.

They attack President Trump or Republicans in Florida because they know there is no real threat to either themselves or LGBTQ people. Neither Trump nor the GOP are going to ban their movies or hurt them financially. In fact, their relentless virtue-signaling may give them some easy publicity which means higher ticket sales.

The reason Hollywood claims to care for LGBTQ rights is that the LGBTQ advocacy organizations have over a period of time become pressure groups. These organizations follow the ‘donate generously or else you are a bigot” business model. These are similar to criminals or to corrupt officials who collect protection money

Most in Hollywood post a rainbow flag on social media and donate generously to these groups just to appease the monster and appear to be 'the good ones.' An identical business model has been used by BLM. The result is both BLM and LGBTQ groups are wealthy and powerful, the equivalent of rich corporate houses, except that they are earning profits without selling products.

Even for the Florida situation, a part of the compromise was Disney pledging to pay $5 million to LGBTQ organizations. Money is, was, and always will be the core aim behind these manufactured ruckuses. These groups know they can rely on cowardly or compromised business leaders to capitulate and donate with ease.

Like most businesses, LGBTQ organizations know where their customer base exists, i.e., who can be pressured to donate their millions. When it comes to Islamic countries and China, they know they do not stand a chance. So they stay mum and they don't pressure Hollywood to act.

For Hollywood, China and various Islamic nations mean hundreds of billions of dollars in profit to corporate enterprises, so human rights concerns are placed in the back seat.

We should never ever take the empty utterances from Hollywood seriously. They should from now be known as Hollowood.

‘Normal Marital Argument’: Muslim Tells Wife He’ll Behead Her If She Doesn’t Wear A Hijab...Welcome to the New Europe. ROBERT SPENCER

What exactly the West has done to itself by means of mass Muslim migration is a taboo subject as far as the establishment media is concerned. Even the suggestion that there could possibly be a downside to the creation of no-go zones and Sharia enclaves in Europe is buried under charges of “racism,” “bigotry,” and “Islamophobia,” and that’s that. But as Muslims and non-Muslims in Europe march arm-in-arm into the glorious multicultural future, a recent news item in Austria suggests that everything might not be as rosy as our moral superiors would have us believe. ROBERT SPENCER

Islam's emphasis on Jesus being merely a man, not a divinity, may testify to the influence of nontrinitarian Christianity on the formulation of Islam. The shahada is the Islamic confession of faith. "There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of God." Merely stating the shahada makes one a Muslim, yet it may be a buried statement of nontrinitarian Christian creeds. "There is not God but Allah" is a rejection of Jesus' divinity and the trinity. According to new theories, "Muhammad is the messenger of God" may be a reference to Jesus. "Muhammad" is translated as "the praised one" and "the messenger of God" is a denial of Jesus' divinity. "The praised one" was but a messenger, not God himself. The nontrinitarian Christians' discomfort at the thought of God urinating or defecating is reflected in al-Wahidi's commentary on the Qur'an. "Our Lord does not eat or drink nor has He any need to relieve Himself" but Jesus "was fed like any other child, and then he ate and drank and relieved himself … Then how could he be the son of Allah?"

Ilhan Omar Once Again Shows How Much She Hates America

She was enraged by Christians singing hymns on a plane.

An hour before midnight on Saturday, April 16, as millions of Christians around the world were preparing to celebrate Easter, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Mogadishu), who was not, was on Twitter. She sent around a video captioned “Worshipping Jesus 30,000 Feet In The Air,” showing a young man with a guitar leading what appears to be a Christian singalong on an airplane, although the video has no information about the setting or circumstances. Omar commented: “I think my family and I should have a prayer session next time I am on a plane. How do you think it will end?” Omar was implying, of course, that Muslims in America are subjected to a double standard and are routinely victimized by “Islamophobia.” And so once again the question arises: why does Ilhan Omar have such an active distaste for the country that welcomed her and her family and gave them refuge and where she has experienced so much success and adulation?

What would happen if Ilhan Omar’s family had a prayer session on a plane? Omar is suggesting that it would end with their arrest or at very least their harassment by racist, “Islamophobic” officials who had no problem, because of their “systemic racism,” with a group of Christians singing Christian songs on a flight.

The two scenarios, however, are not equivalent. Since the video Omar tweeted includes no details, it’s not clear whether this flight was filled with people who all belonged to some Christian group, or if an individual or group of Christians simply decided to start singing on the plane. If the latter, that might certainly be annoying to someone who might have hoped to catch a nap or read a bit on the flight, but no one on the plane would have felt in the slightest danger, because happy, singing Christians are not generally associated with acts of violence, for good reason.

If, on the other hand, a group of Muslims began Islamic prayer on a flight, some people might be worried. Ilhan Omar would claim that this was because of their “racism” and “Islamophobia,” but in reality, it’s just a simple recognition of the fact that the record of Muslims on airplanes is not entirely peaceful. Omar would consign to “hatred” what is actually just realistic and justified caution.

For all that, however, the answer to Omar’s question is that, even if some people might be made uncomfortable by Islamic prayer on an airplane, nothing would be likely to happen. I myself once sat on an eight-hour flight next to two Muslims who prayed the whole time, quite openly and un-self-consciously, with Qur’ans open on their laps. They weren’t being as loud as the Christians were in Omar’s video, but they weren’t making any secret of what they were doing, either, and although I was the only one sitting next to them, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who noticed. No one batted an eye. They got no trouble from anyone.

Another time, I was standing at a gate waiting to board a flight when I saw a group of about twenty Muslims, all dressed in Islamic garb, begin prayers at the same gate. When they finished their prayers, they boarded the flight I was on. No one stopped them. No one bothered them. No one said a thing to them about their prayers.

There is no doubt whatsoever that these were not unusual occurrences, for if Muslims ever were stopped from praying on a plane, you can be sure that we would have heard about it from the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and probably from Omar herself.

What Omar doesn’t tell you is that Muslims are not only not the victims of widespread discrimination and harassment in the U.S., but they have received all manner of special accommodations. The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and other public institutions have built special areas for the ablutions before Islamic prayer; there are no publicly-funded holy water fonts or Torah scrolls. It is taken for granted even by influential opinion-makers that it is wrong and offensive to draw Muhammad, in accordance with Sharia blasphemy restrictions. Those who expose the ways in which jihadis use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and oppression are excoriated as “Islamophobic” and “extremist” and de-platformed.

But Ilhan Omar is enraged over a little gospel singalong on a plane. She seems so unhappy in the United States. Maybe she should consider returning to her wonderful native land of Somalia, where there is no “Islamophobia.” A paradise indeed.

Kafir: Islam’s True Views on Non-Muslims

The popular Egyptian daily newspaper and website al-Masry al-Youm (“the Egyptian Today”) recently published a fatwa titled “What Is the Ruling on Selling Food to Infidels during the Daylight [Hours] of Ramadan?”  The fatwa concluded that, no, it is not permissible for Muslims to sell food, even if the purchaser and consumer is a non-Muslim.

As discussed here, because the daily newspaper that published this fatwa, al-Masry al-Youm, has long been seen as a progressive, reformist newspaper -- one that thrives on exposing and combatting Islamist intolerance -- its readership, which includes not a few Coptic Christians, responded with an uproar.  Hours later, the online version of the paper deleted the fatwa, suspended its editor, and issued an apology.

Most instructive regarding this entire episode -- especially for non-Muslims unfamiliar with the minutia of Islam -- was the focus of the apology.  No one was upset at, and al-Masry al-Youm did not apologize for, the fatwa’s conclusion (many Egyptian Christians, out of “consideration,” already know to refrain from handling food in public).  Rather, the point of contention was that the fatwa utilized -- and, worse, the paper published -- the word kafir (usually translated into English as “infidel”) to refer to all non-Muslims.

As the daily newspaper explained in its apology, “This fatwa applied the term kafir to those who are of a different religion.  This is a term that al-Masry al-Youm never uses and completely rejects, as this term draws upon a negative framework that has long afflicted many in Egyptian society.”

Some context is needed to appreciate the significance of all this.  In the Koran, the Arabic word for those who disbelieve its message and messenger (Muhammad) -- that is, all non-Muslims -- is kafir (in the singular; kuffar or kafara in the plural).  Accordingly, all throughout history and in their writings, whenever Muslims referred to non-Muslims, they referred to him as kuffar.  This remains evident in the fact that many older English translations of the Koran rendered the words kafir/kuffar as non-Muslim(s) or disbeliever(s).

The problem, however, and what few apologists for Islam want to admit openly, is that the word kafir is chock-full of decidedly negative associations.  To Muslim ears it connotes “enemies,” “evil-doers,” and every vile human attribute.

In short, Islam’s sacred scriptures present the kuffar -- meaning all non-Muslims -- in the most negative terms possible.

Thus the Koran refers to non-Muslims as inherently “guilty” and “unjust” (10:17, 45:31, 68:35); terror is to be cast into their hearts (3:151); they are the “vilest of beasts” (8:55, 98:6), comparable to “cattle,” and “devoid of understanding” (47:12, 8:65); they are natural-born “enemies” to Muslims (4:101), “disliked” and “accursed” by Allah (2:89, 3:32, 33:64), who further declares himself their implacable “enemy” (2:98).

Again, this is how the Koran describes non-Muslims, even if they have never once spoken against or harmed Islam.

Unsurprisingly, then, sharia mandates hostility for the kuffar -- unremitting jihad, with all the attendant death and destruction that has always followed it when Muslims are strong; deception and smooth-talk when they are weak and in need of biding time for a more opportune moment.

Thus, according to Koran 9:5, Muslims must “slay” those non-Muslims who reject Islam’s political authority, “wherever you find them -- seize them, besiege them, and make ready to ambush them!”

What about ahl al-kitab, the so-called “people of the book,” a phrase the Koran sometimes applies to Jews and Christians?  Are they kuffar or not?  Although Islam’s apologists regularly argue for the latter, ahl al-kitab is ultimately a subcategory of kafir.

Certainly the rules governing them are less severe: instead of being enslaved or killed outright, Christians and Jews, on payment of tribute (jizya), are allowed to live, but only as second-class citizens (who, according to Koran 9:29, must feel themselves subdued and humbled).  That said, any Jew or Christian who refused to pay monetary tribute and/or refused to submit to being treated as a second-class citizen, instantly defaulted back to their status as kuffar -- meaning, they too became existential enemies to be warred on, enslaved, or killed (see the Conditions of Omar).

From here one begins to understand the scandal that the popular and supposedly “progressive” newspaper al-Masry al-Youm created by publishing a fatwa that referred to non-Muslims -- of whom there are at least ten million in Egypt, known as Coptic Christians, many of whom subscribe to the daily -- as kuffar.

Sweden Sees Days of Riots over Qur’an-Burning Danish Politician

On Thursday and Friday, Swedish cities saw cars set on fire and police injured as a result of rioting by people opposed to demonstrations by Qur’an-burning politician Rasmus Paludan.

On Thursday, riots and violence took place in the Skäggetorp area of the city of Linköping ahead of a demonstration by Danish anti-Islam politician Rasmus Paludan, leader of the Stram Kurs party.

The violent riots led to at least three police officers being injured after being hit with stones and rocks and several vehicles set on fire, including a police car, broadcaster SVT reports.

Paludan’s rally was supposed to take place Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. but did not occur. Police say at least two people, both in their thirties, were arrested during the riots.

“This has been a serious situation. It was chaotic at the scene with several hundred people on the scene,” police spokesman Johnny Gustavsson commented. Several rioters are believed to have stolen police uniforms and other equipment from police vehicles.

“It was a violent and chaotic situation today. There have also been burglaries in the cars and bags of police equipment have been stolen,” Gustavsson added.

Rioting also broke out in the city of Norrköping due to another Stram Kurs demonstration that also did not end up taking place. Around 15 cars were set on fire in the city and police were also attacked.

Swedish National Police Chief Anders Thornberg commented on Thursday’s rioting saying, “What happened in Linköping and Norrköping is completely reprehensible and will never be accepted. I have made sure that the employees who have been injured have been taken care of.”

“We live in a democratic society and one of the most important tasks of the police is to ensure that people can use their constitutionally protected rights to demonstrate and express their opinion.  The police should not choose who has that right but always intervene if a crime occurs. Targeting police and police equipment is an attack on both the rule of law and democracy,” Thornberg added.

On Friday, Paludan and his group burned a copy of the Islamic Qur’an in the no-go Stockholm suburb of Rinkeby and violence soon broke out. Police were attacked with stones and rocks, leading to one officer becoming injured.

“At first I had information that one was injured, then I got information that no one was injured. There are two police officers who have been hit by something and suffered pain, but have not been so badly injured that they have had to seek medical attention. They could continue to work after this,” Daniel Wikdahl of the Stockholm police said.

The riots are not the first in Sweden in reaction to the actions of Paludan and Stram Kurs. In August of 2020, around 300 residents of the multicultural city of Malmo took part in riots that saw violence against police and cars set on fire after activists had burned a Qur’an.

Later that year, a group of fifteen Muslim congregations called on the Swedish government to outlaw the burning of religious texts like the Qur’an.

“We do not want it to be legal in Sweden to burn holy scriptures such as the Qur’an, the Bible, and the Jewish scriptures and at the same time for it to be forbidden to mock the different religions,” Rinkeby’s Imam Hussein Farah Warsame said.

Following an investigation into the Qur’an burning by Paludan and his followers, a Swedish prosecutor determined that burning copies of the book was not in itself illegal and did not levy any criminal charges against the Dane 0r Stram Kurs activists.

Christians in Lands of Persecution Fear Attacks on Easter

Christians living in countries hostile to Christianity often face increased fears for their personal safety in the run-up to the Easter holiday, Mike Gore, the CEO of Open Doors Australia and New Zealand (an organization that aids persecuted Christians) wrote in an op-ed for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on Thursday.

“[F]or many Christians around the world, the anticipation of Easter is accompanied by the fear of an attack. As many Christians gather on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday, the risk of violence intensifies. As Christians gather to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus, they themselves become targets for violent extremism,” Gore wrote on April 14.

The Christian holiday of Easter falls on April 17 this year.

Gore on Thursday cited Open Doors statistics which found that “526 Christians have lost their lives while celebrating Easter over the past seven years, with hundreds more injured. Just a year ago, on 28 March 2021, twenty people were injured in a bombing on Palm Sunday in a church in Makassar, south Sulawesi [Indonesia].”

Gore referred to a suicide bombing perpetrated by two Muslim terrorists outside a Catholic church in Makassar that wounded at least 20 people and killed only the attackers.

“Both suspects were killed instantly after they rode a motorbike into the church compound and, when challenged by security, detonated a bomb packed with nails,” the Jakarta Post reported on March 29, 2021, citing local police.

The March 2021 bombing took place “on Sunday at a time the congregation was inside the church on the island of Sulawesi, just as the mass was ending,” Al Jazeera observed.

Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo told reporters at the time the two attackers were members of the Islamic terror group Jemaah Anshorut Daulah (JAD), which pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in 2015.

JAD was responsible for a series of prior attacks on Indonesian Christians in 2018, including “suicide bombings at churches in Indonesia’s second-biggest city Surabaya, which killed a dozen congregants,” the Jakarta Post recalled at the time.

“JAD was also implicated in a 2019 cathedral suicide bombing in the Philippines committed by a married Indonesian couple. That attack killed worshippers and security forces,” according to the newspaper.

Indonesia is home to the world’s largest Muslim population. The nation’s latest census data (taken in 2010) demonstrates that 87.2 percent of Indonesia’s nearly 240 million inhabitants follow Islam.

“Violent Islamic radicalism is present in 7 out of the top 10 countries” in which it is most dangerous to be a Christian, Open Doors reported as part of its 2022 World Watch List, published in January.

Elsewhere in the world, Islamic radicalism in Nigeria — embodied by Muslim Fulani “herdsmen” and the jihadist terror group Boko Haram — sees Christians targeted for violent attacks on a regular basis. An estimated 50 percent of Nigeria’s 90 million-plus population is Muslim while 48.1 percent of the population is Christian.

Jihadist Fulanis routinely massacre Christian villages across Nigeria, targeting the communities specifically for their outward displays of Christian faith. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is himself a Muslim and a member of the Fulani ethnic group. Nigerians have often criticized Buhari for failing to curtail Fulani attacks on Christians since he was elected in 2015.

Boko Haram is also a major perpetrator of targeted anti-Christian attacks in Nigeria. The jihadist group’s aim is to eradicate both Christian and Western culture across the Lake Chad Basin, which unites northeastern Nigeria with the neighboring countries of Chad and Niger.

International Christian Concern reported in August 2020 that “between 50,000 and 70,000 Christians have been killed by radical Islamists” in Nigeria over the past 10 years.

In India, radical Hindu nationalists regularly perpetrate mob violence against the country’s minority Christians. In one such incident, a group of suspected Hindu nationalists broke into the home of a Christian pastor in central India’s Chhattisgarh state on March 17, dragged the man out onto the street, and stabbed him to death.

“According to local Christians, the pastor had been warned by Hindutva [Hindu nationalist] goons against preaching his religion and had been threatened with his life [prior to his murder],” the Indian news website Siasat revealed on March 21.

“Hindus make up 79.8% of India’s population and Muslims account for 14.2%; Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Jains account for most of the remaining 6%,” Pew Research Center reported in September 2021.

China’s ruling Communist Party, which is officially atheist, also severely persecutes Christian minorities in the country through oppressive policies and regular raids of “house churches” or spaces of worship created inside the privacy of Chinese Christian homes. China’s ruling Communist Party enacted a law on March 1 prohibiting the circulation of Christian-related content on China’s heavily censored internet, Open Doors reported.

The Communist Party officially allows Chinese citizens to observe just five religions: Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism, and “Christianity,” which the Party acknowledges as the “Three-Self Church.” While a severely regulated form of Christianity is ostensibly tolerated according to official rules, the Communist Party in practice creates hostile conditions for any Chinese who dare to openly worship as Christians.

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) said that only “snowflakes” were offended by her post criticizing Christians publicly worshipping mid-flight aboard an airplane.

The squad member stepped into a heap of trouble over the weekend in response to a viral video that featured Christians singing worship music while in flight. According to Omar, had the worshippers been Muslim, events would not have unfolded as peacefully.

Conservatives and Christians immediately pounced on Omar, calling her a bigot. The congresswoman labeled them “snowflakes” in response.

The original clip, which garnered over 30 million views over the weekend, was originally posted by Jack Jensz Jr., the founder of Kingdom Realm Ministries, “who has been assisting Ukrainian refugees in Europe along with his congregation,” Breitbart News reported.

Omar was criticized by a variety of conservative figures and pundits, from Rep. Lauren Boebert (D-CO) to former Miss Iraq, Sarah Idan.

Palestinian Riots Erupt in Jerusalem Over Passover

Israeli police battled Palestinian rioters in Jerusalem over the first weekend of Passover, as tensions remained high following weeks of violence and terrorism in Israel that have seen dozens killed.

On Friday, the first day of the Jewish holiday, police clashed with Palestinians at the Al-Aqsa mosque who threw stones toward the Western Wall.

That clash fueled further violence through the weekend, according to the Jerusalem Post, which reported Arabs on Saturday fought with Israeli forces outside the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court following reports that Israel would not release some of those arrested at the Al-Aqsa mosque.

That same night, Israeli forces made an arrest after Arabs raised a banner at the Temple Mount that read, "Hamas calls on you for a general mobilization and to push out the herd of settlers who are threatening to storm al-Aqsa."

Violence escalated further on Sunday. Israeli police entered Al-Aqsa mosque to protect Jewish visitors' access to the site, and they clashed with Palestinians occupying the mosque, who reportedly set up barricades and gathered stones with which to fight police. Palestinians also launched fireworks from within the mosque. At least 17 Palestinians were injured during fighting with police.

Several people received minor injuries Sunday when Palestinians threw stones at buses carrying Jewish passengers outside Jerusalem's Old City, home to holy sites including the Temple Mount, Dome of the Rock, and the Al-Aqsa mosque. A video shared online showed Jewish children taking cover inside a bus as rioters threw stones through the windows. Jewish worshipers walking in the Old City were also attacked, the Jerusalem Post reported.

The Islamist Ra'am party on Sunday announced it would temporarily withdraw its membership in the Knesset in protest over Israeli forces' clashes at the Al-Aqsa mosque.

This weekend saw a rare overlap of the Jewish Passover, Muslim Ramadan, and Christian Easter holidays, fueling religious tensions. Israel has seen fierce violence since March in the form of terrorist attacks and clashes between security forces and Palestinians. Fourteen Israelis have been killed in terror attacks since March 22.

Egypt: Christian Priest Slaughtered in Broad Daylight

Repeatedly stabbed in the neck during a youth group church outing.

Raymond Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

Another Coptic Christian clergyman was murdered in cold blood in Egypt today [this article was originally published on Thursday, April 7]. Local Christian media reported that, while walking in a crowded street of Alexandria with a group of church youth and his own family, Fr. Arsenius Wadid was repeatedly stabbed in the neck by an unidentified but bearded man, killing him.

Fr. Arsenius, 56, headed the Church of the Virgin Mary in Muharram Bay and later the Saint Paul Church of Alexandria. He was ordained in 1996.

As this just happened, details are still sparse and sometimes contradictory.  Some sources say that Arsenius died instantly, in the middle of the street in front of his traumatized family and youth group, while others say he was rushed to a hospital but died soon thereafter of his wound.

The assailant was apprehended and handed over to police by people who witnessed the murder. According to one source, “preliminary investigations [are expected, as usual] to suggest the suspect is mentally unstable in preparation for him to escape justice.”

Egyptian media will no doubt attempt to portray this murder as a strange and unexpected aberration. In reality, it is part of an ongoing continuum, whereby extremist Muslims in Egypt randomly target and attack, and often slaughter, Coptic Christian clergymen.

In one especially notable—because very similar—incident, a Muslim man slaughtered a Christian priest in broad daylight.  Security camera footage (formerly viewable here) captured a man with a large butcher knife chasing and stabbing Fr. Samaan Shehata—including in the head, neck, and torso—in the streets of Cairo on October 12, 2017.

Some personally acquainted with the murderer, Ahmed Saeed Ibrahim, confirmed  that he had recently “begun praying in the street, shouting loudly and calling Christians infidels.”  As for motive, one report said “he had decided to kill any Coptic priest, purchased a dagger, and lay in wait for one to pass by, in a street leading to the local church.”  His father “is more of a terrorist than his son,” added one woman; he “used to stop children on their way back from church and say, ‘You are multiplying, may Allah destroy your houses and burn you all. You have filled our neighborhood with filth.’”

Even so, and as Egyptian authorities appear to be positioning themselves to say about this more recent murder of Fr. Arsenius, so too back in 2017 authorities labeled Ahmed as “crazy,” prompting one Copt to ask: “Why is it that anyone who kills Christians is crazy?  The person who killed two Christians in a train was crazy. We got used to this, and are expecting [that the murderer] will soon be released too.  We don’t want to be unfair to anyone, but Ahmed Saeed is not crazy, he’s a religious extremist.”

One can cite more examples—in 2013, Coptic priest Mina Cheroubim was shot dead as he left his church in al-Arish, north Sinai—but the point of what happened to Fr. Arsenius, and why, should be clear by now.

Robert Spencer's 'The Critical Qur'an'

A must-read, essential book.

Danusha V. Goska

[Robert Spencer's new book, The Critical Qur'an, will be out May 3. Preorder now: HERE.]

If I were queen, I would reward every reader who completed Robert Spencer's new book, The Critical Qur'an: Explained from Key Islamic Commentaries and Contemporary Historical ResearchThe Critical Qur'an is an essential book that every thinking person would benefit from reading. About one in four humans is a Muslim. Given child marriage, polygyny, and women's low status, Muslims have high fertility rates and the percentage of the world's population that is Muslim is predicted to increase till Islam is the world's majority religion in 2075. While it is true that the Qur'an is often not read or understand by most Muslims, Muslims do revere the Qur'an. Muslims may have little idea what the book contains, but they are ready to kill over it. When, in 2005, Newsweek circulated false rumors that Americans were flushing Qur'ans down toilets – which is of course impossible – at least seventeen people were killed in ensuing violence and "a council of more than 300 mullahs …threatened to declare holy war."

In the past, reading the Qur'an was difficult. Some translations used pseudo-King-James English, for example archaic forms like "thee, thou, thine," in an attempt to make the Qur'an sound Biblical, and, therefore, holy. Some translations attempt to paper over the Qur'an's lack of clarity by adding parenthetical fixes. For example, Qur'an 2:1 begins "Alif Lam Meem." No one knows what this means. One translation tries to "help" the reader with a parenthetical explanation: "Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]." The reader is left to wonder how the incoherent equals the miraculous. Translators try to draw a smiley face over darker Qur'anic passages. "Jihad," which clearly means actual warfare to claim territory, booty, corpses, and slaves for Allah, is translated as "struggle." Spencer's new translation avoids these pitfalls, and, on the sentence level, it is easy to read.

Many make assumptions about the Qur'an based on false comparisons to the Bible. The works are different in important ways. The King James Bible contains 783,137 words in 66 books. These books were composed over the course of hundreds of years in three different languages, Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. Christians and Jews agree that their scriptures were not actually written by God himself, but by roughly forty different human authors. The genres of Biblical books include hymns, letters, proverbs, prophecy, erotica, history, allegory, andreportage. Jews and Christians have long engaged in exegesis of their sacred texts – that is, Jews and Christians debate what Bible passages mean and how they should be applied. Jews and Christians respect hard copies of their scriptures, but they do not worship these hard copies, nor do most attribute supernatural attributes to them. To do so would be idolatry.

The Qur'an contains c. 77,430 words, making it less than one tenth the length of the Bible. Islam teaches that the Qur'an was never written by anyone. It is uncreated. Like God himself, the Qur'an has always existed and will always exist. There are numerous rules for handling the Qur'an. Kufar – Non-Muslims – should never touch the Qur'an in Arabic, but may touch "interpretations" in other languages. One must say "interpretation" because the Qur'an exists only in Arabic, the language of Allah. Muslims must perform ablutions before reading the Qur'an. The Qur'an must be stored in a specially designated place, and never be put on the floor or taken into a bathroom.

To say that the Qur'an was created, as opposed to eternally existing, is a death penalty offense. Even Western scholars have hesitated to explore the Qur'an's origins. For example, scholar Christoph Luxenberg must hide behind a pseudonym to protect his life. The Qur'an "leaves no room for dispute"; see also Qur'an 33:36. Indeed, the Qur'an suggests that even a second of doubt will lead to an eternity in hell (e.g. 49:15) . Thus, rather than debating or discussing the meaning of the Qur'an, Islam places emphasis on memorization. A Muslim once said to Robert Spencer that he had memorized the entire Qur'an, and one day he was going to find out what it says. The hafiz, or Qur'an memorizer, did not speak Arabic, and had no idea of the meaning of the sounds he had memorized.

Mohammed Hijab, an Islamic apologist, demonstrated Muslim beliefs about the magic powers of the Qur'an in a November 10, 2021YouTube discussion with Dr. Jordan Peterson. Hijab began to recite in Arabic, in the voice prescribed for reading the Qur'an. That prescribed voice is a singsong, nasal drone, with drawn out vowels. Peterson asked what Hijab's point was. Why recite Arabic to me, a non-Arabic speaker? Hijab said, "We believe that the Qur'an has divine qualities itself. We believe it is a physical cure." Just exposing Peterson to the sounds of the Qur'an might cause Peterson to convert to Islam. Ibn Kathir, an important exegete, claimed that recitation of Sura 2 causes Satan to fart. It can be argued that Islam treats the Qur'an as if it were a "divine, conscious agent."

Muslim history claims that Islam was founded by an orphaned, illiterate, seventh-century Meccan caravan driver named Muhammad who was visited by the angel Jibril (from the Biblical Gabriel) who ordered him to recite. Muhammad's followers wrote down his recitations and compiled them into the Qur'an. Textual criticism suggests that the Qur'an is a compilation of heavily edited, pre-existing material. Recent scholarship theorizes that, during the Arab Conquest, conquerors decided that their new, Arab empire, no less than the Christian Byzantine and Zoroastrian Persian empires, required a state religion. These Arab conquerors took bits and pieces of Jewish,Christian, Zoroastrian and Pagan material and compiled them into the Qur'an.

Christianity's early centuries were rocked by Christological debates. These debates asked, "What was the nature of Jesus?"Some said Jesus was human; others said he was divine; still others argued that Jesus was some combination of human and divine. Jesus' proposed divinity troubled many. They understood the divinity of Jesus as an assault on Judaism's monotheism. Some were offended by Jesus's divinity for a different reason. If Jesus was both fully divine and fully human, then God urinated and defecated. These bodily functions were seen as beneath a divinity.

The Old Testament recounts the history of the creation of the world and God's choosing the Jewish people as his own, and leading them out of slavery in Egypt. The New Testament offers Jesus' biography, a short history of the early church, and the letters of early Christians. No clear history of what is conventionally thought of as the early days of Islam is to be found in the Qur'an itself. There's no caravan driver, no Mecca, no new religious revelation, and the word "Muhammad" is mentioned only four times, and it is not clear that the word refers to a person or if it means, only, "praised one." Many argue that early references to Muhammad may in fact be references to Jesus.

Muslims express exaggerated praise for the Qur'an. For example, Ibn Kathir said, "The Arabic language is the most eloquent, plain, deep and expressive of the meanings that might arise in one's mind. Therefore, the most honorable Book, was revealed in the most honorable language, to the most honorable Prophet and Messenger, delivered by the most honorable angel, in the most honorable land on earth, and its revelation started during the most honorable month of the year, Ramadan. Therefore, the Qur'an is perfect in every respect."

In fact, though, the Qur'an is possibly the world's worst-written influential book. Muslims will of course object to this assessment. Their first objection: only an Islamophobe would call the Qur'an badly written. My reply: No, I'm happy to acknowledge the excellence of many Islamic cultural products, for example, the Taj Mahal, calligraphy, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's singing, and Muslim Arab folktales. Second objection: The Qur'an is the product of an oral culture. This objection lacks merit. Most people in the world have been illiterate. The Bible is the product of a population where most people could not read or write. Acknowledged masterpieces of world literature, including the Iliad, the Bhagavad Gita, and Zen Koans all emerged from predominantly oral cultures. One Thousand and One Nights, an Arabic-language collection of previously oral folklore, has entranced audiences around the world. Third objection: translations cannot capture the fine qualities of the Arabic Qur'an. I have never read The Iliad in Greek, the Vedas in Sanskrit, Psalm 23 in Hebrew, or Arabic folktales in Arabic, nor do I need to. The excellence and power of these works transcends translation. For those questioning the quality of Robert Spencer's new Qur'an translation, visit this site. You can find any Qur'an verse as translated by six different translators. Study that website all you might; you will not find a translation that can remedy the Qur'an's many problems.

What's wrong with the Qur'an? The Qur'an uses pronouns like "he," "we," and "they," but the Qur'an offers few clues as to whom is meant by these pronouns. The Qur'an hops from topic to topic, not just paragraph by paragraph, but within the same sentence, for example in 4:29: "Do not squander your wealth among yourselves in vanity, except in a trade by mutual consent, and do not kill yourselves." After telling men that they are superior to women and that men should beat their wives (4:34), the Qur'an offers, in 4:36, a sentence fragment, that is a sentence with a subject but no verb. "Kindness to parents." Other translators rescue this fragment by adding the missing verb, e.g.,"Show kindness to parents" or "Do good to parents." Spencer makes so such rescue effort. Qur'an 6:143 is a similar sentence fragment. It reads, "Eight pairs two of the sheep and two of the goats." There is no verb, and, therefore, no sense. Another sentence fragment, this one also missing a verb: "Those who chose unbelievers for their friends instead of believers." Another fragment, 74:30, reads "Above it are nineteen." Above what are nineteen what, exactly? There are more than a few verses that leave the reader scratching her head, e.g., "Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother?" 49:12, "We used to wade with waders" 74:45, and "Color from Allah, and who is better than Allah at coloring?" 2:138.

Scholar Gerd Puin estimates that twenty percent of the Qur'an is unclear to anyone. This lack of clarity is thanks in part to words, often of non-Arabic derivation, like "jibt," "sijill," "ghislin,""abb," "as-sakhkhah," "sijjin," "illiyyin," "tasnim," "saqar," and many others, whose meanings are uncertain. The full text of a scholarly, 1938 book entitled "The Foreign Vocabulary of the Qur'an" can be found here. The Qur'an acknowledges its own lack of clarity in 3:7, in which Allah states that he alone knows the meaning of some verses. Which verses? He never says. Readers can only guess which verses they are understanding correctly and which verses whose meaning is beyond their grasp.

The books of the Bible are arranged more or less chronologically, with some thematic arrangement, and events in those books are also arranged chronologically. For example in Luke's Gospel, Jesus is first born, then he preaches and heals, then he is crucified, then he rises from the dead. The Qur'an is not arranged chronologically. With the exception of the very short first chapter, the Qur'an's chapters are arranged from longest to shortest. This bizarre choice confounds the reader seeking coherence. Given that chapter length appears entirely arbitrary – the chapters contain more or less the same material, repeated endlessly – why some chapters are long and others are short escapes the reader. Chapter titles do not relate to the theme of the chapter. One of the Qur'an's most notorious verses, "Kill them wherever you find them" is found in the chapter entitled "Women." In any case, the phrase is repeated three times in the Qur'an. Sura 9, perhaps the most bloodthirsty chapter, is titled "Repentance."

That a Qur'an chapter is titled "Women" should not mislead the reader. Women are afterthoughts; they exists as the possessions of men. They appear as child brides, as sex slaves, as Heavenly whores, and as war captives. In verse 43 of "Women," females are identified as a source of pollution. Men should not pray if they have been sick, if they have urinated or defecated, or if they have had contact with a woman. After such contamination, men must cleanse themselves, possibly by rubbing their face and hands with dirt (a practice called Tayammum). Women are inferior to me n (2:282, 2:228, 4:34, 4:11). The Qur'an instructs men on how to handle divorce from pre-pubescent wives with whom they have had sexual intercourse. Females are a "field"that men should enter however they wish. There are dozens of named male characters, but only one named female character: Mary. Compare the Qur'an's lack of named female characters with the indelible females of the Bible, women who changed the course of Jewish and Christian history: Eve, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah, Rahab, Deborah, Judith, Ruth, Esther, Elizabeth, Mary Magdalene, the sisters Martha and Mary, Junia, Priscilla, Anna the Prophetess, etc.

The Qur'an chapter entitled "Mary" is, as is the case with other chapter titles, not closely related to Mary. In a commentary on this chapter, Mary is given voice to mourn that she is not "an owned slave woman" – she is unfortunate because she is not some man's property. The Qur'an confuses Mary, mother of Jesus, with Miriam, sister of Moses, who lived over a thousand years before Jesus' mother. The Qur'an tells Mary, "Do not grieve. Your lord has placed a stream beneath you." It's not clear how this stream placement should cheer Mary up.

The Qur'an is repetitious. Repetition is frequently encountered in oral lore. See the Kumulipo, a Hawaiian creation chant.

"Born was Kumulipo in the night, a male

Born was Po'ele in the night, a female

Born was the coral polyp, born was the coral, came forth

Born was the grub that digs and heaps up the earth, came forth…"

This poetic repetition echoes creation itself; the multiplicity of lines with parallel construction reflects the abundance of creatures the chant catalogues, and also their place in an orderly universe. Repetition makes this important lore easy to remember and its has a hypnotic effect on the listener.

The Qur'an makes no such use of repetition. Rather, as Spencer's footnotes show, the Qur'an includes repetitive, garbledf ragments – not coherent retellings – of Jewish and Christian scriptural and folkloric material, and Zoroastrian and Pagan elements. The Qur'an offers repeated, fragmented mentions of the Exodus story from the Bible, and extra-biblical material like a folktale of Jesus making clay birds fly. A sixth-century Christian legend, The Seven Sleepers of Ephesus, tells of seven men who retreated to a cave during Roman persecution. The men awoke two hundred years later and were surprised to find that Christianity was now the empire's official religion. The Qur'an's telling of this tale, found in 18:9-26, is so thoroughly garbled that a reader with no previous knowledge of the Christian source would not have any idea what these verses allude to. Don Richardson, author of "Secrets of the Koran,"estimates that if all repetitions were removed, the Qur'an would be forty percent of its current size.

God's rebuke of David, recounted in 2 Samuel 12, is one of the most moving, terrifying passages in the Bible. I can hardly think of it without crying. Through the prophet Nathan, God rebukes David for murdering Uriah, the husband of Bathsheba, a woman David lusted after. The Qur'an takes this terrifically moving, cinematic passage and flubs it so badly in the retelling that it is a literary crime (38:21-25).

Qur'an 4:157 states that Jesus did not die on the cross. Muslims believe that Allah placed either a dummy or a Jesus lookalike on the cross. Spencer's footnotes identify this belief as an appropriation from a third century Gnostic text, "Second Treatise of the Great Seth." Gnostics were nontrinitarian Christians. As Spencer writes, they held an "abhorrence of the material world and the flesh, which led to their denying altogether the Christian doctrine of the Incarnation." Jesus was too supernatural to suffer death on the cross.

Ex-Muslim Ridvan Aydemir insists that Qur'an 4:157 deals a devastating blow to the Qur'an's integrity. Aydemir argues that, yes, the Gnostics had a reason, that was consistent with their own belief system, to tell a story in which Jesus did not die on the cross. Those compiling the Qur'an borrowed that passage from a Gnostic document, but could not borrow the logic behind the passage. The Jesus of the Qur'an is not, as was the Gnostic Jesus, a supernatural creature, too rarefied to be crucified. The Jesus of the Qur'an is simply a human being, comparable to any other mortal. Aydemir quotes Qur'an passages that mention other prophets being killed; similarly, Jesus, a mere prophet, could have been killed. The Qur'an's logic, that prophets are killed and that Jesus is merely a prophet, as human as anyone else, does not support Jesus' not being killed on the cross. Aydemir points out that the Qur'an borrows other belief system's narratives without borrowing the logic informing those narratives.

The Qur'an has a limited number of themes that it hits upon with a thudding monotony. Those themes include the following. Allah is all powerful. Allah saves and damns arbitrarily. Allah created some people just to send them to hell fire. Muslims must not pray for these damned souls or feel sad for them. Compare this to the Bible, which records that God wants all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9, Ezekiel 18:23) If Muslims don't please Allah, Allah can kill them all and create a new group of people who will please him. In a footnote, Spencer points out that Allah says that he "loves" only those who fight for him in jihad, and he does not love unbelievers. Allah has a very thin skin and grouses about humans who "mock" and "ridicule" his "warners." Allah promises sadistic tortures to scoffers. He will burn off their skins and replace those skins with new skins so that they can be burned off again "so that they may taste the torment" 4:56 He will turn white faces black. Kufar in Hell will consume boiling water, pus, and a fruit made of devils' heads. This fruit will boil in their bellies. "As for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them, boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads, By which what is in their bellies, and their skins too, will be melted, And for them are hooked rods of iron" (22:19-21). The Qur'an's narrator says that those who disagree with him should hang themselves (22:15). Allah promises an afterlife of pleasant gardens, fruits, and silk clothing to Muslim men.Heavenly beings with large, firm – "not sagging" – breasts will service Muslim men.

The Qur'an is ferociously hostile to non-Muslims. The Qur'an directs special fury at Christians and Jews. The very first chapter condemns Jews as having angered God, and Christians as having gone astray. Muslims who pray the full allotment of daily prayers repeat this condemnation of Christians and Jews seventeen times daily. Muslims are as superior to Christians and Jews as human beings are to animals (3:110, 98:6). Jews are so irredeemable that Allah turned them into apes and pigs. In 2:54, Moses tells sinning Jews to kill themselves; Ibn Kathir, a commentator, reports that 70,000 Jews lost their lives as a result of Moses' suicide command.

The Qur'an repeatedly emphasizes that one must not worship anyone but Allah. This point is hammered home in various ways. Don't assign a partner to Allah. Don't pray to anyone but Allah. Don't imply that Allah needs "helpers." All of these phrasings have one target: Christians, and their belief in the Trinity. The Qur'an misunderstands the Trinity, suggesting that Christians worship God the Father, Jesus, and Mary. This is not the Trinity. The Qur'an also drastically misunderstands the purpose of the incarnation. To say that Allah has a son is a "monstrous thing" (19:89) because to do so is to imply that Allah has some weakness or need and his son is a "helper." The incarnation of God as a human being was not so that Allah would have a "helper." Rather, the purpose of the incarnation is expressed succinctly in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

No other world scripture is so obsessed with condemnation of two other belief systems, in this case, Judaism and Christianity. Without its condemnations of Jews and Christians, the Qur'an would not be a book-length work, but a pamphlet, .

Jihad is another main theme of the Qur'an. The Qur'an makes abundantly clear that jihad is warfare for the sake of expanding Islam's worldly power, not an interior struggle to, say, remain on a diet, a message promoted by a 2013 CAIR public relationscampaign. The Qur'an says, multiple times, that believers should strike the necks of kufar, kill them wherever the Muslims find them, etc. As if these passages were not grisly enough, a Qur'an commentator offers, "Strike them on their foreheads to tear them apart and over the necks to cut them off, and cut off their limbs, hands and feet." Other commentators are even more bloodthirsty, demanding that Muslims smite the very toes of the kufar.

Muslims should suspect even their wives and their children of being traitors to Allah (64:14). "Among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefore beware of them. Your wealth and your children are only a temptation, while with Allah is an immense reward." Other verses warn the believer against ties with parents and children who are not Muslims (9:23-24). Muslims are warned not to take Jews or Christians as friends (3:118, 5:51). Astute readers will, of course, recognize in these warnings the rules set down by cults, who demand that members sever ties with those not members of the cult.

The Qur'an is as remarkable for what it lacks as for what it contains. The Qur'an does not offer that new, world-changing expression of a timeless, soul-deep truth. There is nothing in the Qur'an that compares to the Jewish Ten Commandments, or tzelem Elohim, a loving God who creates humanity in his own image; the Christian Sermon on the Mount; the Hindu Kalidasa's Exhortation of the Dawn; Buddhism's Four Noble Truths; or the Greek Protagoras' observation that "Man is the measure of all things."

In a 2006 lecture at Regensburg University, Pope Benedict quoted a Byzantine emperor, Manuel II Paleologos. "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." Mohammad himself is said to have said something similar. In hadiths, Mohammad announced that he was "superior" to other prophets because he alone was made "victorious with terror" and the earth's treasures were made lawful to him; in other words, he could violate the most primordial taboos. He could kill, he could steal, and he could rape other men's wives.

Spencer's new "Critical Qur'an" doesn't offer only an accurate and accessible translation. It offers commentary by canonical Islamic experts, including Ibn Kathir, a fourteenth century exegete, and Syed Abul Ala Maududi, a twentieth-century author. Thus, the reader knows not just what the Qur'an says, but how influential Muslims understand it. Spencer's footnotes also draw the reader's attention to variations in the Qur'an. These variations are of a utmost importance, as it is a tenet of Islam that the Qur'an is a perfect, eternal, unchanging and unchanged document that exists in Heaven. Variations in the text give the lie to this tenet.

Spencer's footnotes relate Qur'anic passages to taqiyya; to Islam's intellectual stasis; to suicide bombing; to Muslims'resistance to Israel's right to exist; to why it is morally acceptable for Muslim men to harass non-Muslim women; to why it takes four Muslim male witnesses to prove a rape case; and to treatment of dhimmis, that is, non-Muslims who live in Muslim states, and who must be economically fleeced and publicly humiliated. As Spencer points out, Qur'an verses, for example 10:94, record that the scriptures of Jews and Christians in the seventh century were authentically divine products. And yet Muslims today insist that Jews and Christians "corrupted"their scriptures. The Qur'an contradicts current Muslim belief about Jewish and Christian scripture. David Wood describes this as the "Islamic Dilemma."

Spencer's footnotes describe Islamic traditions designed to justify changes in the Qur'an, a book that Islam teaches is perfect, unchanging, and unchangeable. Again, one current theory is that the Qur'an was not written as one document, the product of one man, Muhammad. Rather, many scholars now think that the Qur'an was pieced together from pre-existing materials, materials that were then heavily edited to meet the needs of Arab conquerors. These changes occurred over time. Some early Muslims might have witnessed, and questioned, such changes. Traditions were invented to explain away the changes. For example, Muhammad's child bride Aisha is made to say that sheep ate some Qur'an verses that previously existed but then went missing.

Spencer points out the Qur'an's contradictions. Iblis is identified as a jinn, but, contrarily, as an angel. Sometimes one can intercede for another; sometimes one cannot. In one Qur'anic retelling of Exodus, Pharaoh survives. In another, he drowns. The number of days it took Allah to create the world varies, as does the substance from which Allah created mankind. Muslims insist that the Qur'an contains prescient scientific knowledge. In fact, though, as Spencer points out in a footnote, the Qur'an presents a pre-scientific picture of the earth and the solar system 13:2. For example, the heavens rest on "invisible supports" and the sun sets in a muddy pool, 18:86.

Spencer's footnotes also help bridge the gap between the English translation and the Arabic original, pointing out words of non-Arabic origin and places in the text where the rhyme scheme and other formal features break down, indicating interpolations into a pre-existing source document that was then patched into the Qur'an.

An Islamic website offers attractive quotes from the Qur'an. One of the quotes says "speak to people kindly," but this appears in the midst of a text that calls non-believers apes, pigs, and the vilest of created beings, describes graphic tortures for them and tells Muslims never to befriend them, not even if they are parents or children. "Remember me; I will remember you," says one quote. This from an Allah who states repeatedly that if Muslims displease him, he will destroy them utterly and take up a better group of people . "Wives are a garment for you," says one quote. Yet this book includes instructions on how to divorce a pre-pubescent child; before dumping her, one must make sure that she has not somehow gotten pregnant. "Allah does not burden a soul more than he can bear," says another quote. This same Allah repeatedly says that he creates people for the specific purpose of sending them to Hell, a Hell he describes with fiendish enthusiasm. "The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception." And yet Paradise is utterly earthbound. It's all about rivers of booze, delicious food, silk garments, and sex slaves with round, "not sagging" breasts. The only thing that's missing is big-screen color TVs. There is no description of what Heaven will entail for women. "Men are in charge of women" are superior to women, and should beat them, says 4:34. But this website translates that verse as saying that men should protect women.

Compare this to the matrix of Bible quotes. Hosea, a prophet, married Gomer, an adulteress. Even though she cheated on him, Hosea could not quit her. Their story reflects God's love for the Jewish people. When the ancient Hebrews went astray, God could not get over his love for them. In the book of Hosea, God speaks of his frustrated love, "I drew them with human cords, with bands of love; I fostered them like one who raises an infant to his cheeks; Yet, though I stooped to feed my child, they did not know that I was their healer." God's frustrated love for sinning humanity is also expressed in the New Testament which records, Christians believe, the son of God dying a torturous death for his love of humanity. In the extreme of pain, Jesus says, "Father, forgive them. They know not what they do."These quotes are deeply embedded in rich narratives that demonstrate the truths the quotes hope to convey. Compare this to the Qur'an that mentions "kindness to parents" just a few words away from the advice to husbands to beat their wives. Both quotes are completely free of any supportive, illustrative narrative.

Please buy and read Robert Spencer's "Critical Qur'an." I emphasize "buy" because his book is a gift to thinking people, and "the workman is worthy of his hire." The most moving sentence in this translation was written by Spencer himself. He dedicates his book thus, "Offered with love to all the people of the world who love the Qur'an." I do not see how anyone could read this book, and all of its footnotes, and conclude that the Qur'an is divinely inspired. Muslims deserve to have access to the research presented so very clearly herein.

‘Normal Marital Argument’: Muslim Tells Wife He’ll Behead Her If She Doesn’t Wear A Hijab

Welcome to the New Europe.

The German-language Exxpress reported Thursday that “a man of Turkish origin was sentenced today in Braunau to two years’ unconditional imprisonment for aggravated coercion. The Austrian citizen threatened to kill his wife if she refused to wear a headscarf.”

The man who issued this threat was in prison at the time: he is “serving a five-year prison sentence for aggravated assault.” But he was able to get his wife on the phone, and instead of spending his precious phone time telling her how much he missed her and assuring her that he would not run afoul of the law again, he told her: “If you don’t wear a headscarf from now on, I’ll break all your bones, kill you and cut your head off your body. I don’t care if I get 20 years for it.”

Now he dismisses those words as so many sweet nothings. In court, he explained: “I scolded her, she scolded me. I am ashamed that I am here as a defendant because of my wife. It was a perfectly normal marital argument.”

Well, yeah. Perfectly normal in Lahore, or Tehran, or Riyadh, or Diyarbakir, but in Braunau? Not so much. At least not until recently. But now, what goes in Diyarbakir goes in Braunau, and if you don’t like that, you’re a “racist,” “bigoted” “Islamophobe.” After all, this chap’s directions to his wife were perfectly reasonable: “I told my wife to wear the headscarf until I was out of prison. So much has been heard, that’s why I told her.”

His wife, according to Exxpress, “confirmed a little later during the interrogation that he was alluding to the protection that Muslim women with headscarves had against harassment by Muslim men, since they can be recognized as believers.” She elaborated: “My husband is not religious, for him the headscarf means that nobody is looking at me and that I am honorable.”

Or else. The victim of this “perfectly normal marital argument” stated: “I now have a different cell phone number because I’m afraid.” She was still afraid even though her husband was in prison: “I know him, he has had me threatened and followed by his friends. He has said he will get an ankle bracelet and then he will teach me.”

For all this, Judge Stefan Kiesl gave this sterling migrant two years in prison. “Seldom has a decision been so easy for me,” he added. “I believe your wife’s every word and have no doubt that what she said is one hundred percent true.” He said of the behavior of the defendant: “It couldn’t be more reprehensible. After receiving five years in prison for an incredibly aggressive act, you are trying to manipulate people from prison. The two years imprisonment can also be seen as a general preventive measure. The clear message must go out that such attitudes cannot be tolerated in our society.”

But Judge Kiesl, such attitudes are already tolerated in your society, and much more as well. After all, “the Turk was convicted of a knife attack in 2019. Because of debts, he stabbed a man in a betting shop in Braunau with a 20cm long jackknife. He was then sentenced to 5 years in prison.” And now he has two years more to serve for threatening his wife. Do you really think, Judge Kiesl, that he will emerge from prison a changed man? Isn’t it much more likely that, given the large presence of jihadis in prisons all over Europe, he will emerge even more hardened and dangerous than he is now?

This is just one incident among many that call into question the entire mass Muslim migrant enterprise that Europe has embraced so wholeheartedly. The political and media elites silence all dissenters by branding them “racists” and “Islamophobes.” So a few women suffer in the making of the new, multicultural Europe? Hey, to make an omelet you have to break some eggs!

Ex-Muslim Reveals What the Qur’an Says About Moderate Muslims

Spoiler alert: it's not good.

The Qur’an in numerous passages describes lax, or moderate Muslims, as being hypocrites deserving of scorn and persecution. Speaking as a former Muslim, this raises grave concerns when one considers realities such as Islam’s death penalty for apostasy and the jihad imperative.

For a multitude of reasons (though chiefly for disbelief in or lack of adherence to Islamic teachings) the Qur’an often categorizes some groups of both Muslims and non-Muslims alike as being hypocrites. Since this article is primarily concerned with addressing the subject of how the Islamic texts view lax/moderate Muslims, it is important to consider the general meaning of the word hypocrite.

A common definition of the word hypocrite is as follows: 1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion. 2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs.

Sadly, because the Qur’an claims to be the infallible words of God that are to be unwaveringly believed and practiced by devout Muslims (Qur’an 3:138, 6:114, 16:89), and since many moderate Muslims do not practice all of the Qur’anic dictates, orthodox Muslims have a valid reason to consider moderate Muslims to be hypocrites. See HERE for a more exhaustive list of Islam’s condemnation of hypocrites.

Qur’an 33:36: It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter, that they have any option in their decision. And whoever disobeys Allah and His messenger, has indeed strayed in plain error.

9:23: O believers! Do not take your parents and siblings as trusted allies if they choose disbelief over belief. And whoever of you does so, they are the true wrongdoers.

9:67 The hypocrites, both men and women, are all alike: they encourage what is evil, forbid what is good, and withhold what is in their hands. They neglected Allah, so He neglected them. Surely the hypocrites are the rebellious.

9:68 Allah has promised the hypocrites, both men and women, and the disbelievers an everlasting stay in the Fire of Hell—it is sufficient for them. Allah has condemned them, and they will suffer a never-ending punishment.

9:69 You hypocrites are like those disbelievers before you. They were far superior to you in might and more abundant in wealth and children. They enjoyed their share in this life. You have enjoyed your share, just as they did. And you have engaged in idle talk, just as they did. Their deeds have become void in this world and the Hereafter. And it is they who are the true losers.

In the Sunnah of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, we also find disobedient or hypocritical Muslims spoken of in derogatory terms:

Sahih Muslim Book 038, Hadith Number 6696: Ibn Umar reported Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: The similitude of a hypocrite is that of a sheep which roams endlessly between two flocks. She goes to one at one time and to the other at another time.

Sahih Muslim Book 038, Hadith Number 6694: Jabir reported that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) came back from a journey and as he was near Medina, there was such a violent gale that the mountain seemed to be pressed. Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: This wind has perhaps been made to blow for the death of a hypocrite, and as he reached Medina a notorious hypocrite from amongst the hypocrites had died.

Unfortunately, as we see from the Islamic texts themselves, it is the orthodox Muslims, such as the Taliban, who can quite justifiably call moderate Muslims hypocrites and treat them with disdain and worse. As the world has just witnessed in the late Summer of 2021, tens of thousands of moderate Muslims are desperately trying to escape Afghanistan as the entire country threatens to fall back into Sharia rule at the hands of the Taliban.

The world is fortunate that moderate Muslims do not follow all of the Qur’anic dictates – but failing to do so naturally makes the moderates vulnerable to charges of hypocrisy by the strict adherents of Sharia. Qur’anic verses such as the ones listed below are invariably noted to moderate Muslims by the hardliners, and the former tend to keep their heads down and their mouths shut for fear of being killed by their more devout Islamic brethren. Moderate Muslim movements are essentially inconsequential in terms of numbers and influence because the jihadis and their supporters know what is written in the Qur’an and are obedient to its teachings.

1:11: This is a Book whose verses are well perfected and then fully explained. It is from the One Who is All-Wise, All-Aware.

18:27: Recite what has been revealed to you from the Book of your Lord. None can change His Words, nor can you find any refuge besides Him.

It is high time that the world take a sobering look at, and reject, the many exceptionally harmful and brutal teachings found in the Qur’an and Muhammad’s Sunnah that comprise Islamic Sharia law (See HERE) that the Taliban and dozens of other jihad groups are attempting be means of both force of arms and political maneuvering to establish throughout the earth.

In conclusion, for the foreseeable future, Sharia-adherent Muslims will continue to torment and persecute moderate Muslims precisely because of what is written in the supposedly perfect Quran and Muhammad’s Sunnah. In other words, unfathomable amounts of misery and bloodshed with take place throughout the world for as long as Muslims continue to believe the claim that the Qur’an is perfect and of divine origin, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah whose behavior is to be emulated (Qur’an 33:21).

Here is a recent statement from a group of Bangladeshi apostates living in the UK explaining the reasons why they have abandoned Islam:

One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives (Qur’an 33:50). He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way…

The statement continues:

Muhammad was a narcissist, like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified.

Pakistan: Lahore School Principal Becomes Latest Victim of Blasphemy Laws, Given Death Sentence

And now joins the other 80 on death row.

A Muslim school principal in Lahore, Salma Tanveer, has become the latest victim of the dreaded and stringent blasphemy laws of Pakistan, and has been given the death sentence after a long trial, reports the Pakistani daily Dawn.

Salma is not only the principal, but also the owner of a private school in Lahore. She was booked under the Pakistan Penal Code’s Section 295C in September 2013, on a complaint by Qari Iftikhar Raza, a local prayer leader, also referred to as a Khateeb. Raza, in his complaint, alleged that Tanveer had published and distributed pamphlets of her writings in the Lahore area of her residence. In the pamphlets, Salma had allegedly “denied khatam-e-nubuwat” (the finality of Muhammad’s prophethood), had used disparaging remarks, and also “claimed her own nubuwat,” that is, claimed that she herself was a prophet.

Reportedly, the woman’s counsel, Mian Muhammad Ramzan, had emphasized that the magistrate concerned had ordered an examination of the accused: the main argument presented by Tanveer’s advocate was that she was of unsound mental state at the time of the incident, and pleaded with the court not to prosecute her. The defense further argued that the comparison of content from the photocopies of her pamphlets was impossible, alluding to possible alterations in the content of the alleged documents.

The state prosecutors, Sadia Arif and Advocate Ghulam Mustafa Chaudhry, however, held that Salma’s defense had been unsuccessful in establishing his client’s inability to understand the nature of her actions at the time she wrote, printed and handed out the “blasphemous” material, and claimed before the court that the accusations against Salma has been corroborated with oral and documentary evidence.

The judge observed that a report provided by the Punjab Institute of Mental Health had confirmed that the accused was fit to stand trial. After considering the statements made by the witnesses, the judge sentenced Tanveer to the death penalty, along with a fine of 50,000 Pakistani rupees ($292 US).

“It is proved beyond reasonable doubt that accused Salma Tanveer wrote and distributed the writings which are derogatory in respect of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and she failed to prove that her case falls in exception provided by section 84 of PPC,” the verdict stated. Section 84, dealing with the accusation on people of unsound mind, states, “nothing is an offense which is done by a person who, at the time of doing it, by reason of unsoundness of mind, is incapable of knowing the nature of the act, or that he is doing what is either wrong or contrary to law.”

“The convict Salma Tanveer is sentenced to death and fined Rs 50,000 u/s 295-C of PPC,” reads the verdict. However, it also held that capital punishment cannot be executed without the Lahore High Court’s confirmation.

Though both India and Pakistan inherited Section 295A that criminalized deliberate attacks on religious sentiments from the British rule in undivided India, Pakistan added 295B and 295C to it during 1980. 295B holds defiling the Qur’an to be punishable by life imprisonment, and Section 295C advocates death penalty for defiling the name of the Prophet of Islam in any way.

Section 295C has a vast capacity for misuse and exploitation, and has been regularly abused to target members of religious minorities, gain the upper hand in personal rivalries, and/or seize land or property. These laws are not dependent on solid witnesses or proof; accusations are more than enough.

In cases of unproven allegations of someone having affronted Islam, a violent and bloodthirsty mob often takes charge of delivering “justice.” Back in 2020, 57-year-old Tahir Ahmad Naseem, an American citizen accused of blasphemy, was shot dead while he was on trial inside a courtroom. That Naseem was shot six times by a 19-year-old young man who had dodged the security system and entered the court to kill the accused even before judgement could be pronounced exposed the extent of jihadist sentiments in Pakistan’s fanatically “religious” society.

Lawyers taking up the cases of the accused have also been attacked and murdered by vigilantes, thereby discouraging advocates from even attempting to defend the suspects of blasphemy. In 2014, Rashid Rehman, a prominent human rights advocate defending a professor accused of blasphemy, was killed in Multan by gunmen posing as prospective clients. As per reports, Saif ul Mulook, the Pakistani lawyer who had helped Asia Bibi in her infamous case of blasphemy, fled Pakistan fearing a murderous attack after several posts on social media called for his execution in 2018.

One cannot rule out the chances of judges being under pressure or threat, and feeling the need to award the death sentence to such suspects just to save themselves from the ire of the jihadi elements they are surrounded with.

According to a 2020 report released by the US Commission for International Religious Freedom, there are 80 convicts charged under the blasphemy law now on death row in Pakistan.

No Jail for NYC Prankster Who Told Diners He Had a Bomb and Would Kill Them for Allah

Malik Sanchez hopes to join the military - and he will likely have no trouble getting in.

When Malik Sanchez was sentenced on Wednesday for claiming he had a bomb and telling two women outside a New York City restaurant that he was going to kill them, he apologized to the women and said that his actions were those of an “immature and reckless child.” Manhattan federal court Judge Colleen McMahon stopped him right there and corrected him, saying his action was “that of a sicko.” Nevertheless, she gave him no jail time at all while praising his post-arrest behavior and calling him a “pretrial success story.” Scaring people half to death is no big deal in New York City; in the decaying Leftist paradise of Bill de Blasio and Eric Adams, it takes a great deal to be sent to prison.

Sanchez faced up to five years in prison, but McMahon sentenced him to time served: he spent 23 days in jail after he was arrested and nine months confined to home. It was an extraordinarily light sentence for Sanchez, who ran a modestly popular (he had 5,400 subscribers) YouTube channel called “Smooth Sanchez” that has been dormant since his arrest. I watched hours of this little creep’s videos last year when he was first arrested, trying to find his bombing threat, but he had apparently already taken it down. He terrorized people not just in the instance in which he got arrested; his whole act was to walk around Manhattan and harass random strangers. He even assaulted one man, but apparently his victim didn’t wish to press charges. Whatever else he may be, Malik Sanchez is certainly a sociopath and possibly a dangerous one.

The “Smooth Sanchez” videos feature Malik Sanchez walking along the streets of New York City and yelling abuse at passersby, mostly young women. (He identified himself as an “incel.”) In a February 2021 video, Sanchez approached the outdoor seating area of a Manhattan restaurant where the two women were dining and said he was going to “enhance their meal.” Then he began shouting, “Bomb detonation in two, in two minutes.” He screamed, “I take you with me and I kill all you. I kill all you right now. And I kill all you for Allah. F**k, f**k that s**t. I’m gonna Allah. I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna f***ing do it for Allah. I’m gonna do it, for, Allah, Allah, Allahu akbar, Come on. I do it, bomb now, bomb now.”

This moving peroration led six people to flee from the enclosed outdoor dining area, which the Cary-Grant-like, self-proclaimed Smooth young man took as a victory. “Yo, all of them scattered. … Holy s**t. Holy s**t, boys. That was f***ing five stars. That was five stars. Holy s**t, huh?”

According to the Daily Beast, in another video on March 20, 2021, Sanchez was seen “making hand gestures ‘mimicking pointing a gun.'” A court filing stated, “After multiple individuals attempted to get Sanchez to stop, Sanchez sprayed pepper spray in the face of one of those individuals. Sanchez was arrested by responding NYPD officers and charged with state offenses and was thereafter released on bail.”

Not only that, but once Sanchez had been arrested, police discovered that he had previously pepper-sprayed another woman when she took exception to his videoing her.

One of the women who was at the restaurant when Sanchez came up and started screaming about Allah and his bomb recounted, “For the next several weeks, I lived with my parents in Pennsylvania, too afraid to return to life in the city. I was convinced that a terrorist was operating in my neighborhood, ready to actually use violence at any given time. Mr. Sanchez altered my faith in humanity and made me realize there are truly bad people out there who enjoy seeing others suffer.”

Yes, there are, and Malik Sanchez is certainly one of them. But that’s no big deal in today’s entirely Leftist-ruled New York City, where coming down too hard on a young man who screamed “Allahu akbar” while making a hoax bomb threat might have appeared to be “Islamophobic.” Now, Sanchez hopes to join the military and he will likely have no trouble getting in, as no one in Gen. Mark Milley’s woke armed forces will care that he once faced charges for pretending to be an enemy of the United States. Loyalty? Dependability? Pah! No one cares about such things anymore. If Malik Sanchez can master the intricacies of Critical Race Theory, he’ll be a prized recruit.

Sword and Scimitar: The Troubled History Between Islam and Christianity

A review of the must-read book by Shillman Fellow Raymond Ibrahim.

The following partial book review of Shillman Fellow Raymond Ibrahim’s Sword and Scimitar was written by John C. Zimmerman, of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, and appeared in Terrorism and Political Violence (33:8, 1824-1825, DOI), a journal of the Routledge Taylor & Francis Group.  The complete review can be accessed here.

Many current accounts of the long struggle between Islam and Christianity tend to focus on the periods beginning with the Crusades in the late 11th century and the era beginning with Western ascendance and colonialism in the 18th century. Utilizing a vast array of sources, Raymond Ibrahim reminds us that the actual struggle began with the Muslim conquests of Christian lands in the first half of the 7th century and that the expansion and conquests continued until 1683. Hence, “the West is what remained of Christendom after Islam conquered some three-fourths of its original territory.”

[…]

The early battles between Christians and Muslims centered on the Byzantine Empire (Eastern Christianity), North Africa, and parts of Europe (i.e Spain and France). […]

By the 11th century, the Muslim armies fighting the Byzantine Empire were dominated primarily by the Seljuk Turks. In 1049 they attacked the Armenian city of Arzden where a chronicler noted that as many as 150,000 residents were slaughtered and the city—which contained 800 churches—was torched. Eleven years later 600 churches were destroyed in Sebastia (modern-day Sivas) The devastating Christian loss at the battle of Manzikert in 1071 greatly increased Muslim strength and threatened the existence of Eastern Christianity. The victorious sultan declared: “I shall consume with the sword all those people who venerate the cross, and all the lands of the Christians shall be enslaved.” These events and many others would lead Pope Urban II to call for the crusades, intended to be a counter-offensive to reconquer Jerusalem, in 1095. “Christians everywhere felt ready to take the war to—instead of always receiving it from—the ancient foe.”

[…]

The biggest Muslim victory came with the Ottoman Turkish conquest of Constantinople in 1453. There had been continuous Muslim attempts to conquer the city since the early 8th century. The conquest was particularly brutal. Christian accounts speak of widespread slaughter, rape and desecration of churches. An Ottoman chronicle states: “They [Turkish soldiers] made the people of the city slaves . . . and the gazis [Turkish fighters] embraced [i.e.raped] their pretty girls.” However, the end of the Muslim conquests came in 1683 with the Christian victory in the Battle of Vienna. Ibrahim gives a riveting account of the battle. Ironically, by the mid-19th century the two most powerful colonial countries—Great Britain and France—would prevent the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire by coming to its aid against Russia, a Christian country, in the Crimean War.

Throughout the book Ibrahim emphasizes the widespread practice of enslaving the conquered Christians. Muslim accounts mention the preference for fair skinned women. This went on from the 7th through the 19th centuries. Over a three century period beginning in the mid-15th century about 3 million Slavs—Poles, Lithuanians, Russians and Ukrainians—were enslaved.

Overall, Ibrahim has given a more complete account of the troubled history between Islam and Christianity than is generally available. His focus on how the combatants primarily viewed the struggle as a religious war is especially useful in a period when such phenomenon in the West is viewed through a secular lens, and it helps explain the views of contemporary jihadists. In a time when more general accounts are likely to narrowly focus on the Crusades and Western colonialism, Ibrahim’s important book explains the origins of both.

India: Policeman Rescues Infant From Flames After Muslim Mob Attacks Hindus Celebrating Hindu New Year

An image that shatters the propaganda of perennial Muslim victimhood.

The image is one of valor and courage, and deserves to win awards. But it does not suit the propaganda of perennial Muslim victimhood that the biggest names in global media promulgate. It also shatters the fake narrative they have peddled for years. It is an image of an Indian policeman who ran through burning buildings to rescue an infant from Islamic rage. This kind of photo makes liberal media platforms uncomfortable.

On April 2, disputes broke out in Karauli, Rajasthan. Hindus were celebrating the Hindu New Year, and had organized a celebratory motorbike rally. While the bikers were passing through a Muslim-dominated area in Karauli, they were ambushed by rioting mobs who had prepared to display their solidarity and communal harmony by throwing stones at these Hindu motorcyclists. The mob flung rocks at these men from all directions.

A couple of police officers were riding with the Hindus in order to provide security from known miscreants and anticipated dangers. But the Indian state of Rajasthan is ruled by the Muslim-pandering Indian National Congress, and there is only so much that security officials can do to protect the Hindus while reporting to a government that is desperate to appease the Muslim community. Often, these policemen also become victims of jihad activity.

Around 43 people, including four police officers, reportedly sustained severe injuries after an enraged Muslim mob charged at the Hindu rally as it passed through the Muslim area. The victims were rushed to the nearest medical facility for treatment; one among these victims was Pushpendra, who was in critical condition and had to be moved to Jaipur, the state capital, for better medical attention.

Some news reports suggest that some individuals also had knife wounds, but the administration has not confirmed these claims. The hospital staffs have also maintained a well-briefed and compliant silence on the matter.

What started as a hail of stones quickly escalated into a massive arson attack and vandalism; dozens of shops were set ablaze, and at least three motorbikes were burned. A curfew had to be imposed in the district to bring the situation under control; mobile Internet also remains suspended.

Police forces have been stationed in the sensitive zones surrounding the epicenter of the violence. Initially, some 600 security personnel had been deployed in Karauli, but the latest reports suggest that a force of 1,200 is now on duty in the district.

The state chief minister took to Twitter and appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony; unfortunately, the miscreants don’t heed his pleas. These groups that were disrupting the peace have no interest in living in harmony with the “idol-worshippers.” They make deliberate attacks on their targets, and as observed in recent years, Hindu festivals top their target list — each one of them, be it Durga Puja, Ram Navami, Saraswati Puja, or a relatively less religious festival, the Hindu New Year.

As per reports, the Muslim group known as the Popular Front of India (PFI) had warned the Congress government and hinted at possible violence should the procession celebrating the Hindu New Year pass through Muslim areas. On April 1, Mohammad Asif, the state president of PFI Rajasthan, wrote a letter to CM Ashok Gehlot.

How weak and submissive must the government of this state be to take no actions against threats of violence that were made publicly, and allow 43 people to end up injured? How low does one go while groveling at the feet of a religious minority?

If the country claims to be secular, how can Muslims claim any part of it as a Muslim-only land where non-Muslims are forbidden from entering, passing through, or celebrating their festivals? Weren’t they awarded a piece of land in 1947, where they can pulling their antics and practice their intolerance to their hearts’ content?

Leaders of the opposition party have lambasted Rajasthan officials and slammed the Congress for its hopeless appeasement of Muslim troublemakers. However, this fails to protect the Hindus. Many Muslims continue to hound them in all states during their festivals, including even in the states that are ruled by the “pro-Hindu” BJP.

Represented as the ever-oppressed minority, all too many Muslims in India habitually resort to unprovoked violence, create unrest, and jeopardize the lives of ordinary citizens around the year. They never run out of excuses to start a dispute. And the respective state and central governments have failed to curb this burgeoning jihad activity, or the flourishing of pro-jihad groups that are quite active despite being banned on paper.

Human Rights Group Decries Christian ‘Genocide’ in Nigeria

International Christian Concern (ICC) has denounced the ongoing “genocide” being carried out on Nigerian Christians by Fulani militants and other Islamic extremists.

“The UN defines genocide as intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group. This is exactly what is happening in Nigeria at the hands of Fulani militants, Boko Haram, and its offshoot, Islamic State West Africa,” ICC spokesman Addison Parker told Crux, an online Catholic news outlet.

“Christian farmers are being killed daily. Priests are targeted, churches are burned down,” Parker said. “While other factors are at play, such as Muslim herders desire for land grabbing, the horrific measures taken to fulfill such desires is fueled by the extremist notion that they are superior to those whom they consider ‘infidels’ – anyone that doesn’t follow their extremist agenda.”

“This gives them the excuse to rid the country of anyone they see as a threat to their goals, all in the name of Allah. This has been happening for the last 20 years,” he added.

On Tuesday, ICC President Jeff King noted that “Christian communities in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria have effectively suffered a 20-year genocide.”

“The Nigerian government gives these attacks lip service without any meaningful response. Where is the outcry? Where is effective action?” he asked.

King recalled that in Nigeria, “the military, the police, and the intelligence agencies are all controlled by Muslims. This, coupled with a 20-year lack of response by these agencies, should naturally lead to deeper questioning by the international community.”

Last week, the Nigerian Catholic bishops released a scathing letter, titled “Nigeria: A Nation Groans in Pains,” in which they assign significant blame for ongoing terrorism to the government of Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani Muslim.

“That all these atrocities against the people and the nation happen without a single arrest or prosecution, seem to give credibility to the widespread belief that the government is complacent, helpless or compromising,” the bishops declared.

“Considering the billions of naira appropriated for security and the fight against terrorism in recent times, it is difficult to imagine that a large number of terrorists, who unleashed terror on unarmed and law-abiding citizens, can disappear in broad daylight without a trace,” they stated.

“It is indeed very hard to believe that our security apparatus lacks intelligence or the ability to fight and defeat terrorists in our nation. Nigerians are sick of flimsy excuses and bogus promises of the government to deal with terrorists.”

On Wednesday, ICC reported of protests in the Plateau State capital city of Jos demanding justice for Christians killed by militants in Nigeria. Demonstrators carried signs with slogans such as “Stop Christian Persecution,” “End the Killings,” and “We want Justice.”

Protest organizer Ezekiel Bini, leader of the Irigwe adult group, said that “since 2016 to date over 600 Christians were killed and 24,000 people were displaced without any assistance from the government.”

Despite the number of atrocities, “no Fulani terrorist was arrested and no relief aid was given to persecuted Christians,” Bini said.

Last Monday, Fulani raiders killed 14 Christians, including women and children, in Nigeria’s predominantly Christian Benue State, close to the state capital of Makurdi.

Benue State is predominantly Christian, and its governor, Dr. Samuel Ortom, has long spoken out against the continued violence in the region, making him the target of an assassination attempt by Fulani Muslims in 2021.

“The tentacles of the Islamist hydra have deeply penetrated the world. The Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood poses a clear threat in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood also wages its deadly campaign through its dozens of well-established and functioning branches all over the world.”

“The Wahhabis finance thousands of madrassahs throughout the world where young boys are brainwashed into becoming fanatical foot-soldiers for the petrodollar-flush Saudis and other emirs of the Persian Gulf.” AMIL IMANI

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9/11/2001, said:

We will take advantage of their immigration policy to infiltrate them.

* We will use their own welfare system to provide us with food, housing, schooling, and health care, while we out breed them and plot against them. We will Caliphate on their dime.

* We will use political correctness as a weapon. Anyone who criticizes us, we will take the opportunity to grandstand and curry favor from the media and Democrats and loudly accuse our critics of being an Islamophobe.

* We will use their own discrimination laws against them and slowly introduce Sharia Law into their culture..

Jihad Murderer Tells Jury He’s a ‘Moderate Muslim’

Islam is Islam.

The murderer of British MP Sir David Amess, Ali Harbi Ali, who’s been described as “an academic high-flyer” in a headline of the sleazy rag, the Guardian, told the jury in his trial that he was a “moderate Muslim.” This is just the latest reminder that we never really can know which Muslims are going to go jihad before it’s too late. Some Muslims have no history of violence, and then all of a sudden they commit the most heinous acts imaginable. And after these atrocities, Muslims-turned-jihadists can claim that what they did was not only moral, but religiously righteous. And they can even claim that they’re “moderate.”

That Islam must be misrepresented by Muslims in order to appear at all appealing to non-Muslims speaks volumes, and its purpose is to make Islam appear harmless until it’s too late. And the Islamic enemy’s major weapon against us is us. From our multiculturalism, which our unicultural enemy exploits, to our crippling political correctness which “protects” us from the truth we need to know and act upon, to our irrational tolerance of the intolerant. The more intolerant they are, the more tolerant we are.

Another weapon that the Islamic enemy uses against us is our desire to believe that “Islam means peace,” no matter what it actually means, no matter what it demands from Muslims, and no matter what Islam’s “perfect model,” Mohammad, leads Islam’s true believers to do.

And then there are those who are moderately Islamic, but who advertise themselves as “Moderate Muslims,” who have hijacked the normatively immoderate Islam, not by admitting and thoroughly repudiating the inherent violence within Islam, but by merely mouthing the words, “Islam means peace,” and again, allowing our desire to believe it to do the rest.

The widespread usage of the term “Moderate Muslim” is a tacit confession of Islam’s immoderate nature. When’s the last time any of you have heard the terms “Moderate Christians,” “Moderate Jews,” “Moderate Hindus,” “Moderate Buddhists”?

And while Muslims are individuals who may or may not be following Islam, most Muslims have shown us that when it comes down to it, the majority of them will side with Islam against the non-Muslim world. They’ve made it clear, in their indifferent silence and inaction in the face of the daily horrors committed by their devout coreligionists, that in the end, they don’t give a damn about anything except Islam and its reputation. I can’t count the number of times that so-called “moderate Muslims,” from teachers to engineers to average, everyday Muslims, have threatened me with the most obscene death threats and rape threats. Many of them won’t act on these threats, but they sure as hell wouldn’t mind, and would even celebrate, if jihadists did act on their threats.

Also, I’ve read one too many accounts of Muslims whose first response to particularly horrific Islamic atrocities was to run to the rescue of Islam, the ideological source of the atrocities. The price we’re paying for denying the truth about what we’re facing is too high. The result of this mass evasion is that the truth about Islam, and any number of truths that we need to expose, is relegated to the underground.

I used to think that it will simply take more death and destruction for the civilized world to accept the truth about Islam before we’re ready to act on our behalf against it, but now I think that those who need even more death and destruction than we already get, with hundreds of people slaughtered weekly in the name of Islam, can’t be reached through reason, or even through being shaken to their core.

Some people, far too many people, can simply live with the mass deaths of others. That’s a damning thing to conclude, but it’s true.
