Democrats Want DHS to Protect Blacks and Hispanics From “Disinformation”
Only the government can stop minorities from thinking for themselves.

The Biden administration has officially announced that its Disinformation Governance Board will be set up within the Department of Homeland Security to fight what it calls “disinformation”.
“The objective of the board is to prevent disinformation and misinformation from traveling around the country," Psaki fashionably sneered. "I'm not sure who opposes that effort."
The First Amendment, a dead white man named Thomas Jefferson, and two centuries of legal precedent dating until the time Hillary Clinton blamed “disinformation” for her loss.
The ‘Ministry of Truth’ announcement comes right after Biden officials had launched the Declaration for the Future of the Internet initiative to advance "the free flow of information" and signed on to a declaration that calls for "governments, authorities, and digital services including online platforms" to protect "the right to freedom of expression while encouraging diversity of opinion, and pluralism without fear of censorship, harassment, or intimidation."
It barely took a day for the Biden administration to formally violate its own declaration by setting up a government arm tasked with censoring and discouraging a “diversity of opinion”.
Ever since Democrats mainstreamed the term while falsely claiming that the 2016 presidential election had been somehow rigged by “disinformation”, the use of it has only meant one thing and that is an effort to censor political opponents while protecting their own narratives.
The Biden administration using the Department of Homeland Security to suppress disapproved speech is a direct attack on the Bill of Rights and continues the ugly process of weaponizing federal law enforcement to target Republicans that gained prominence with Russiagate.
And like Russiagate, it’s about elections.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who has opened the border wide to a flood of illegal aliens, has emphasized that DHS will be focusing on "misinformation in Hispanic communities." With Hispanic voters trending GOP, the Biden administration is understandably eager to suppress messages that have swayed Florida Hispanics by connecting the Democrats to socialism.
The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, a group that despite its misleading name consists entirely of Democrats, and does not include any of the 9 members of the Republican Congressional Hispanic Conference, let alone the two GOP Hispanic Senate members (but does include Rep. Andy Levin, the nephew of former Senator Carl Levin, who’s almost as Hispanic as me), pressured YouTube's CEO to turn over information about "Hispanic misinformation".
"Every week that goes by without adequate action by these companies places our communities at greater risk of being exposed to misinformation," warned Sen. Bob Menendez, whose trial on bribery and corruption charges ended in a mistrial.
Why is the Hispanic Caucus so concerned about “disinformation”?
According to NBC News, “Florida International University political scientist Eduardo Gamarra said he’s been documenting a ‘causal link’ between misinformation and disinformation and how Spanish speakers have voted in recent elections, telling members of the Committee on House Administration that it has contributed to a change in voter patterns.”
Disinformation, in case you were wondering, means minorities not voting the way Dems want.
Not to be left out, Congressional Black Caucus members are worried that "misinformation" might convince black voters to stop supporting corrupt lifetime House members who don't even live in the ghettos they claim to represent.
“Voters deserve to receive accurate information about the democratic process so their voices can be heard,” Rep. G.K. Butterfield argued.
The one thing voters deserve is the right to make up their own minds. And the goal of the disinformation campaigns is to deny voters that right by controlling what they hear.
It’s no coincidence that the Dem minority caucuses are concerned about “disinformation” around elections or that this latest push precedes the midterm elections.
“Disinformation” is really just a pretext for information domination to shape election outcomes.
Democrats define disinformation as information sources that compete with their information sources in the mainstream media and the state. Their interest in disinformation revolves around areas where people become more resistant to voting for them or following their orders.
The focus on black and Hispanic people reveals how the Democrats really see minorities.
Hispanic and black people are, we are told by the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, not terribly bright and need to be protected by the government from believing everything that they read on the internet. It does not seem to have occurred to the Democrats that quite a few of the GOP-leaning Hispanics they’re so worried about came here by escaping from socialist regimes that were worried about the same thing.
The totalitarian condescension isn’t fooling anyone.
There’s nothing quite as likely to inspire skepticism from the already skeptical than the government rolling out a Department of Homeland Security effort to suppress opposing views.
But the Biden administration isn’t really trying to reach opponents, but to isolate them.

Senate Democrats generally don't like using the "C" word even though censorship is exactly what they're after. And they use a series of interlocking Big Tech monopolies to do their dirty work for them. The monopolies donate to Democrats and pick up federal contracts. As part of this lucrative financial relationship, they also silence political opponents of the Biden administration. (Saying that, of course, is likely to be flagged as “disinformation”.)
Occasionally they also help rig elections by suppressing stories about a certain laptop.
Democrats and their Big Tech allies claim that they’re just fighting “Nazis”, but anyone who has spent enough time on social media knows that the Nazis, alt-righters, groypers, and assorted fascist rich kid counterparts of the woke movement are the least censored group around.
Some even enjoy blue checkmarks on Twitter.
Censorship is occasionally a matter of blind algorithms and woke content moderators, but at a big picture strategic level, it’s about manipulating elections and political narratives. The objects of its concern are not Republicans or conservatives, but Democrats and swing voters. That’s why the Hunter Biden laptop occasioned a Code Red while Nazis freely cavorted on Twitter.

The film is a shocking expose and reveals yet another very complex and devious way certain leftist non-profits cheated to win. Neither film, Rigged nor 2000 Mules, addressed the possible manipulation of the voting machines by way of illicit programming and/or possible hacking via their connection to the internet. The elephant in the room is this: Why has no DOJ investigation been mounted given the overwhelming volumes of evidence of election fraud? Why have the courts dismissed each case without even looking at the evidence? The only answer is that the DOJ, every other federal law enforcement agency and the corporate media are corrupt. They are all agents of the Democrat party. As Dennis Prager often comments, truth is not a left-wing value.
Beyond the mules, the illegally harvested ballots, fake ballots that were never folded, mailed or signed, the finagling of people like Republican Gov. Kemp and Sec of State Raffensperger of Georgia and the never-Trump powers that be in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan and probably numerous other states, the 2020 election was the most dishonest, the most unscrupulous in American history. Unable to accept her defeat in 2016, Hillary Clinton fabricated the notion that Russia facilitated Trump’s win, which gave birth to the entirely phony Mueller investigation, the trumped up impeachments based on nothing and the equally fabricated “insurrection” charges about January 6.
The Democrats have descended into the ninth circle of hell. They are willing to destroy the nation rather than see Trump’s MAGA movement succeed anywhere.
The Biden regime has embraced the tactics of Marx and Mao and the prescient fantasies of George Orwell to gain and maintain control over the American population, all the while importing millions of migrants from around the world into the country. Schweizer: Independent Counsel Needed to Investigate Hunter Biden
In an interview set to air on Sunday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin,” Breitbart News senior contributor and Government Accountability Institute president Peter Schweizer said an independent counsel would be required to investigate Hunter Biden’s financial dealings given the potential conflict of interest for his father, President Joe Biden.
Schweizer, the author of Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win, also warned the case could be settled outside of court without public knowledge.
“This is a tailor-made case for an independent counsel,” Schweizer said. “It’s an investigation involving the family of the president. The attorney general is, of course, appointed by the president. And he’s the one who’s going to direct this U.S. attorney that has this grand jury in Delaware — so you need an independent counsel.”
“There is lots of evidence … some of that money ended up with Joe Biden,” he added. “The money was fungible. It moved around. It went to James Biden and others.”
Schweizer also told FNC host Mark Levin the investigation might find opposition from Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) because of the business interests that McConnell and his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, have abroad.

Obama’s Fundamental Manipulation of Free Speech
Setting the stage for the DHS announcement of the Biden Administration’s Disinformation Governance Board recently, at a Stanford University Cyber Policy Center symposium entitled, “Challenges to Democracy in the Digital Information Realm,” deceptive mind-control specialist Barack Obama emerged from behind his Joe Biden mask to deliver the keynote speech.
According to the anonymous author of the 2009 Department of Homeland Security treatise on “right-wing extremism,” government needs to help companies better “…recognize the often-dangerous relationship between social media, nationalism [and] domestic hate groups” like pro-lifers, ex-military, Second Amendment supporters, Christians, and America-First patriots.
Well aware that the voice of the people threatens the trajectory of the global elite agenda, the former president used the opportunity to double down on what he does best, which is to manipulate minds with clever word games. The stunning effort focused on convincing the naïve that government control of public discourse somehow strengthens “democracy.”
Attempting to persuade Americans that controlling free speech correlates with democratic non-complacency, Obama argued that limiting freedom “nurtures” democracy by instituting a policy that runs counter to freedom.
Credit where credit is due, the former president is masterful at presenting nonexistent consensuses as if they truly exist. Take for instance his suggestion that questioning the 2020 election threatens “democratic ideals” and is tantamount to affiliation with Putin, while simultaneously inferring everyone agrees that the 2016 election was stolen from Hillary.
The Alinsky-mentee repeatedly portrayed American citizens as threats to the republic by juxtaposing extremes with divisive statements like:
People like Putin and Steve Bannon, for that matter, understand people don’t need to believe this information to weaken democratic institutions. You just have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage. You just have to raise enough questions, spread enough dirt, and plant enough conspiracy theorizing that citizens no longer know what to believe.
So, in other words, democratic institutions will be strengthened when Barack Obama’s “raw sewage” answers all our questions and dictates what we must think and believe?
Amongst the trustworthy mix of oppressed freedom fighters, Barack presented himself, mainstream media shills, the government he’s likely coordinating, and then pointed out those he deems untrustworthy: anyone who causes Americans to distrust each other by disagreeing with his vision.
Word to the wise, when the former self-proclaimed “target of disinformation,” Barack Obama, exonerates himself, the mainstream media, and political institutions, and then asks, “So where do we go from here?” freedom-loving Americans best listen up.
On behalf of a perverted definition of “democracy,” and sounding like a recruitment ad for “Public Enlightenment,” the former community organizer attempted to rally “the tech community, not just its corporate leaders, but employees at every level have to be part of the solution” to “push,” i.e., “nudge” employers to submit to Communist Command and Control.
The former president depicted dictatorial control freaks as global uniters and feigned a desire for unity by stirring suspicions of voter suppression in black and brown communities, mentioning racism, white supremacism, Putin-like ethnonationalism, “sexism, class conflict, religious strife, greed, envy, and all the deadly sins.” Exempting himself from the division he cultivates, according to Obama, muzzling opposing opinions will “help tamp down divisions and let us rebuild the trust and solidarity needed to make our democracy stronger.”
Convincing the credulous that he is a supporter of free speech and in favor of a “free, robust, sometimes antagonistic exchange of ideas,” Obama stressed that democratic ideals will be realized when the news media, and private companies like Facebook and Twitter, submit to the proposed management of a product that -- when it disagrees with him -- disseminates what Obama calls “toxic information.” Seven months before a midterm election, the former president insisted that “while content moderation can limit the distribution of clearly dangerous content, it doesn’t go far enough.” Therefore, “these big platforms need to be subject to some level of public oversight and regulation” that surely he will be closely involved in overseeing.
Imagine this, Obama proposed that government monitoring of algorithms “spurs innovation,” and eliminates competition for communities of color, because in the end, despite “extraordinarily good faith in some cases,” deplatforming and canceling the left’s detractors is simply not enough to “keep the rest of us safe.” Say what?
With that in mind, let’s review: COVID vaccines (that he mistakenly admitted were clinically tested on “billions”) “keep us safe,” Anthony Fauci’s masked edicts “keep us safe,” mail-in ballots “keep us safe,” Democrat poll watchers “keep us safe,” gun-control crackdowns “keep us safe,” and now, government regulation of free speech, will also “keep us safe.”
Shrewdly, Obama protested too much when he asserted that he’s certainly not suggesting that fairness exclude “views diametrically opposed” to his own, or that opinions and divisions be “fixed.” Oh, no, no, no! Instead, he said that there could be an effort to fundamentally transform or “redesign” and “broaden our perspectives” by mimicking “hard core Hannity, Carlson fans,” being successfully brainwashed by exclusive exposure to CNN, which, according to Obama, has the potential to change “perspectives.” Put another way, does Obama think viewing FOX ‘unmeaningful,’ and singular exposure to CNN helpful in safeguarding his idea of “democracy” by “reshaping” political opinion in “meaningful ways?”
Is that why, Obama believes that the “common baseline of how we debate and sort out our disagreements,” would be better managed by the governance of a First Amendment dictated to by ideologies that agree with the left’s definition of what a demon like Barack Obama calls, “better angels?” Or that efforts to preserve democracy must include kids being taught to become “critical thinkers” by limiting exposure to differing opinions on things like climate change, sexuality, COVID vaccines, Putin, elections, and January 6th?
Wanting to curtail free speech from the beginning, Obama even managed to squeeze in a backhanded criticism of the “flawed” U.S. Constitution by insinuating that undermining the First Amendment fosters a “more perfect union” and likened government regulation of free speech to amendments abolishing slavery, and granting women the right to vote.
Obama, the controlling “tool” of the global elite, ended this alarming address by saying:
[a]t the end of the day, tools don’t control us. We control them, and we can remake them. It’s up to each of us to decide what we value and then use the tools we’ve been given to advance those values. And I believe we should use every tool at our disposal to secure our greatest gift: a government of, by, for the people, for generations to come.
By defining the voice of the people as a “steady stream of bile and vitriol,” Obama’s attempt at implied consensus, again attempted to convert Americans to “fight for [his] truth and to pick [his] side,” or chance being branded -- “for generations to come” -- as responsible for “allow[ing] our democracy to wither.”

Obama touts more “regulation” of the internet -- in his quest for a fourth term in 2024.
At the White House on April 5, former president Barack Obama introduced “vice president Joe Biden,” claiming “that was a joke!” Joe Biden wasn’t laughing. The Delaware Democrat is clearly incapable of exercising national office, and after the Afghanistan debacle openly said he was “instructed” to call on certain reporters.
“He is not in charge,” observed Stephen Miller of The Spectator, and as Tiana Lowe of the Washington Examiner wondered, “who the hell is in charge here?” That became clear on April 5, but it was already apparent long before.
“The country was in better shape now than it had been when I’d started,” claims POTUS 44 in A Promised Land, released two weeks after the 2020 election. This 751-page auto-hagiography is a bloated rehash of the 2015 Believer, by “Obama’s narrator” David Axelrod. The former Barry Soetoro touts his “calling,” leaving little doubt that Biden is the front man in his current third term.
Joe Biden had a “handsome face always cast in a dazzling smile,” A Promised Land explains. On domestic issues Joe was smart and “his experience in foreign policy was broad and deep.” And so on, in vintage Axelrod style.
On Biden’s watch, Putin invades Ukraine. On the domestic scene crime, inflation and gas prices are soaring, and only 17 percent of Americans rank the economy as excellent or good, the lowest since 2014. Even so, two weeks after the Obama White House appearance, Biden let it slip that he is running for re-election in 2024. The way things are now, the Delaware Democrat says in effect, is the way they are going to be moving forward. That too relates to The Promised Land author.
In his April 5 White House appearance, he touted Obamacare, which advanced a strategic objective. Contrary to what the president proclaimed, you couldn’t keep your plan or your doctor. Under Obamacare, you get only the care the government wants you to have. Remember, the author of Dreams from my Father, The Audacity of Hope, and A Promised Land was all about “fundamentally transforming the United States of America,” which was already a top-heavy welfare state.
Obamacare was demolition to clear the ground for “single payer,” the government monopoly system favored by totalitarian states. This was hardly the only fundamental transformation.
On April 21 at Stanford University, the former president proclaimed that “people are dying because of misinformation” about the vaccines he proclaimed “safe” and “effective” because “clinically tested on billions of people worldwide.” No word about adverse reactions or misinformation from Dr. Anthony Fauci, the non-practicing MD who proclaims “I represent science.”
According to 44, online misinformation is about “the competition between truth and falsehood, cooperation and conflict.” Misinformation is the province of those who “continue to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the last election.” As POTUS 44 has it, misinformation flows from “people like Putin and Steve Bannon,” who “understand it’s not necessary for people to believe this information in order to weaken democratic institutions.”
No one in his administration was “surprised that Russia was attempting to meddle in our election.” No word that the Russia hoax was pure misinformation, endlessly recycled by establishment and social media. “Regulation has to be part of the answer,” says the former president, whose 7,054-word, hour-long speech mentions “regulation” six times.
For all but the willfully blind, the former president wants to rig the internet to censor and cancel Biden’s political opponents. During 44’s first term, he transformed the nation into a place where security agencies neglect foreign adversaries and target his domestic opposition. Under 44, the upper reaches of the FBI and DOJ, along with key players in the CIA and intelligence community, deployed against candidate and President Trump.
For the FBI, those less than worshipful of the Biden Junta are domestic terrorists, violent extremists, and so on. The Department of Homeland Security neglects terrorism and targets misinformation, such as “false or misleading narratives regarding unsubstantiated widespread election fraud and COVID-19.”
Meanwhile, in his Stanford speech, POTUS 44 claimed he “spent years being a target of disinformation” when he actually embodies it. His 1995 Dreams from My Father, for example, came billed as an autobiography. In Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama, David Garrow revealed that Dreams from My Father was not an autobiography or memoir.
“Without any question,” wrote Garrow, Dreams was a novel and the author a “composite character.” His beloved “Frank,” portrayed as a happy-drunk poet, is Frank Marshall Davis, the African American Communist who spent most of his life serving an all-white Soviet dictatorship.
The composite character now seeks to rig the internet to cancel political opponents and gain a fourth term through Joe Biden.
In 2013, the composite character touted Kamala Harris as the “best looking attorney general.” In 2022 vice president Harris is not looking good as a replacement for the addled Biden, who recently claimed that he served as a liaison between Israel and Egypt during the Six Day War in 1967, when he was still in law school.
As Trump says, we’ll have to see what happens. In the meantime, the struggle of truth against misinformation, prosperity versus poverty, and freedom against tyranny, is all about memory against forgetting.

But it’s probably not the end of the world. Even Politico’s Jack Shafer thinks it’s a stupid idea.
DHS couldn’t stamp out disinformation or erect an American Reich if we reallocated to it all of the arms we’re currently shipping to Ukraine. It’s peopled by a confederacy of dunces and botch-artists, incapable of carrying out its current mission.
So I say: let us stitch together a narrative that experiences the Biden regime and its globalist co-conspirators as Keystone Kops rather than Nineteen Eighty-Four’s cunning O’Brien.
Take the eternal fight against inequality, that to me is epitomized by Frenchie Thomas Piketty. Piketty has a new book out, A Brief History of Equality, and I can’t think why, because I thought I had reduced his notions on inequality in Capital in the Twenty-first Century to chopped liver back in 2014.

According to Statista, the current number of smartphone users in the world today is 6.648 billion, and this means 83.72% of the world's population owns a smartphone.
Do you ever stop to realize how stunning this is? If we say that Steve Jobs and his techie chappies put out the first smartphone in 2008, we are talking about going from zero to 84 percent of the world in 14 years.
So it’s a moral and political disaster that smartphone producers have made trillions? After getting smartphones to nearly everyone in the world in 14 years? You think you could have done that, lefty, using an appropriate tax on the rich and a Cell Back Better program from Klaus Schwab and a battalion of Cell Lives Matter activists funded by George Soros?
And think of the upside, lefties. Today you have the Widow Jobs financing all kinds of stupid lefty rubbish with lots of lovely NGO jobs for lefty activists -- all feasting on dearly departed hubby’s ill-gotten gains.
What do you care how much Jobs made out of Apple when teenagers in India with smartphones can ask tourists at rock temples for a selfie? What do you care if Musk made billions out of SpaceX, when he can turn on a dime and send an emergency shipment of Starlink thingies to Ukraine?
What I think is that everything our rulers obsess about right now -- from green energy to disinformation to equity to systemic racism to the vital importance of teaching kiddies all about transgender -- is the ruling class in a defensive crouch that won’t mean a thing in five years.
Maybe it’s a good thing that they are obsessing about stuff that won’t make a blind bit of difference, except to end their regime a bit earlier than it might have if they’d had half a brain.
Yes, I know that Curtis Yarvin says that all government is aristocracy, and “Every true revolution is the replacement of an old aristocracy by a new one.” But the devil is in the details, as illustrated in The Americanization of Benjamin Franklin by Gordon S. Wood.
Wood takes Franklin through all his phases, from escaped apprentice to businessman to bestselling author to gentleman to Brit Deep Stater, to accidental bomb-thrower and finally the diplomat in Paris who won the Revolutionary War by talking the French into helping ditch the Brits at Yorktown.
Here’s the thing: Franklin first thought that the Brits and the Yanks should be one happy nation, and spent ten years in London from 1764 trying to make it so. But it turned out that everyone else thought differently. The daily life-world in North America and the daily life-world in Britain led people to experience themselves as two separate nations. And so, in North America, we got a ruling class that made it so. And we got an aristocracy of Washington and Hamilton and Jefferson and Madison to get the new regime started.
(By the way, when I say “life-world” I am using the incredibly sophisticated notion of German lefty Jürgen Habermas who got it from the Nazi Martin Heidegger who got it from the Jew Edmund Husserl. I don’t think you chaps at the Disinformation Governance Board have the chops to understand all this, so why not send out for a vegan pizza.)
Here’s my prediction for our rulers’ Cunning Plans over the next two years. All the Disinformation stuff and J6 Committee hearings and Zuckbucks and ballot mules and ESG’d corporations won’t make a blind bit of difference as Americans suffer through the next two years of inflation and recession.
In 2024 they will not just be voting for Time for a Change. They will be begging for a leader to lead them out of slavery in the Land of Woke into a Promised Land.

White House Defends DHS Disinformation Board as ‘Non-Partisan and Apolitical’ Despite Nina Jankowicz Public Support for Hillary Clinton
The White House on Monday said the newly created Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Disinformation Governance Board would be “non-partisan” despite the leader of the board’s history of partisan statements on social media.
“The mandate is not to adjudicate what is true or false online or otherwise, it will operate in a non-partisan and apolitical manner,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters at the daily briefing.
The appointed executive director of the board, Nina Jankowicz, publicly stated her support for failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.
“Maybe Hillary Clinton’s most important point so far: A Donald Trump presidency would embolden ISIS,” she wrote on Twitter with the hashtag #ImWithHer.
During the 2016 election, Jankowicz spread discredited stories about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump’s ties to Russia and the Kremlin.
Jankowicz also repeatedly criticized former President Trump’s use of social media and scolded tech companies for failing to punish him for controversial posts on Twitter.
She also repeatedly pointed to claims that the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a Russian disinformation operation to affect the 2020 presidential election.
In 2020, Jankowicz even defended Christopher Steel’s thoughts on disinformation after his widely discredited Russian dossier was widely discredited as a major source for lies about President Trump during the campaign.
Jankowicz also defended Biden’s handling of Ukraine, despite Russian President Vladimir Putin invading the country during his presidency.
She argued that Trump would have been “much worse” than Biden.
Psaki said the DHS Disinformation Board under Jankowicz would “coordinate ongoing work that is happening” online from the Department.
She also said the board will focus on “things that would incite violence extremism” as well as human trackers and transnational criminals, malign foreign influence, or information endangering people during emergencies.
“A lot of this work is really about work that people may not see every day that’s ongoing by the Department of Homeland Security,” she said.
When asked how DHS would identify “extremist” groups, Jen Psaki said she did not know told reporters to question the Department of Homeland Security.
