PROTECTING THE BIDEN GLOBAL CRIME FAMILY - Morris: Midterm Elections Offer Americans Single Opportunity for Accountability on Biden Business

The midterm elections present a one-time opportunity for the American people to see, understand, and hold accountable the Biden family in their sketchy (to say it diplomatically) overseas business arrangements.

Despite a summer poll by Rasmussen showing a majority (62 percent) of voters think President Joe Biden “personally profited from deals with Chinese government-connected companies,” via his son Hunter, the White House refuses to answer questions about the topic of President Biden’s family’s business — an item of intense intrigue since the New York Post first published damning documents from the now-first son’s infamous laptop in the run-up to the 2020 election.

And refusing to confront the facts of the Biden family’s malfeasance is appearing to run through many of the federal institutions set up to keep a check on that behavior.

It has been widely reported that federal agents have “sufficient evidence” to charge Hunter Biden in the investigation against him — but for tax crimes and making false statements for a gun purchase, regarding his use of drugs. And those charges are reportedly being delayed by the Department of Justice because the Biden scion was struggling with drug addiction at the time.

Not bothering with the fact that he was clearly selling influence in American policy decision making to foreign countries, some of whom direct adversaries, like China — as evidenced by documentary proof on his laptop — and that his now-president father appears to have been, in at least in the case with China, profiting from those sales — as evidenced by documentary proof on his laptop.

The alleged charges to be brought are like charging a person who broke into a home and killed everyone inside with “trespassing.”

This news of the charges comes on the heels of FBI whistleblowers coming forward to detail an effort at the highest level of the bureau to stifle and sabotage the investigation into Hunter.

Timothy Thibault

Timothy Thibault (screenshot/FBI)

Timothy Thibault, the former “point man” on the Hunter Biden investigation at the FBI who has since “voluntarily retired” and retained (pro bono) legal counsel, was revealed by whistleblowers via Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) to have allegedly been falsely labeling “derogatory” information regarding Hunter as “disinformation,” and “[attempting] to improperly mark [a Hunter Biden] matter in FBI systems so that it could not be opened in the future.”

The most generous critic might observe these facts and say, “other branches of government, namely, Congress, exist to keep the executive honest.”

However, last month, House Democrats on the Oversight Committee voted against a Republican resolution that would have ordered the Biden administration to turn over documents about Hunter Biden’s business deals — killing the resolution after just two hours of debate.

“If the Democrats vote against this resolution, then they are continuing in their coordinated effort to shield a potentially compromised President from necessary congressional oversight,” Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the top Republican on the Oversight Committee, said at the time.

Well, they did, and they are, and they will continue to.

The American people will never have a full accounting of the nature of the Biden family business, they will never understand exactly what scheme was, or is, in place and what exactly Joe Biden’s place in it is — as well as the scheme of how the Post‘s reporting was censored leading up to the election and who was involved in that — unless the GOP takes the gavel.

The only chance at accountability for the Biden family’s influence peddling relies on a Republican victory in the midterm elections — all other avenues are futile.

The Washington Post reported last month that House Republicans are already getting ready to investigate Hunter should they retake the majority — a signal that the GOP intends to keep its promise to use the majority’s investigative powers to look into the Biden family business and the censorship of reporting on it ahead of the 2020 election.

House Republican Conference Chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) has said on the record that she would support subpoenas being sent to several Biden family members — not just Hunter — as a number of them appear to be involved, including the president’s siblings James and Valerie, or aware, including Hunter’s ex-wife, Kathleen.

“Members of the Biden family cross the highway to a dedication ceremony for a road that was named by the Government of Kosovo in honor of Joseph R. ‘Beau’ Biden, III as a sign of respect and gratitude for Beau’s contributions to Kosovo, outside Camp Bondsteel. Pictured (L to R) are Hunter Biden, Hallie Biden, Natalie Biden, Dr. Jill Biden, the Vice President, Hunter Biden, and Valerie Biden Owens.” (Official White House Photo by David Lienemann)

Comer has already demanded documents from Hunter’s wealth adviser, seeking “suspicious” bank records connected to family business schemes. He has also said he will investigate reports that President Biden sold nearly one million barrels from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to a Chinese state-owned gas company that has financial ties to a private equity firm co-founded by Hunter Biden.

“The reason we’re investigating Hunter Biden is because we believe he’s compromised Joe Biden,” Comer told reporters last month.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the top House Republican on the Judiciary Committee and a member of the Oversight Committee, has vowed that a “key element” of investigations will include “what happened in 2020” — probing the vast censorship of the Post‘s “Laptop from Hell” reporting and the testimony of “51 former intelligence officials” being used to buttress the narrative that the journalism was “Russian disinformation.”

House Republicans have already sent a flurry of preservation notices — to Thibaultas well as former DNI boss James Clapper, former CIA boss Micheal Hayden, former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, former CIA head John Brennan, former top CIA aide Nick Shapiro, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Meta Communications Director Andy Stone, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and current Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) told Breitbart News last month that she believes a select committee is “absolutely” an option to investigate “the big guy,” as Joe Biden is known in Hunter’s business circles.

“I think it can be done over Oversight. There’s plenty there [to investigate],” Mace told Breitbart News. “But if that is not enough, once the traditional committee process investigates – then by all means – a special committee would be another option, absolutely.”

“We know who the ‘big guy’ is who is getting a cut,” she added, referring to Joe Biden. “I think no matter what, whether it’s going to be a special committee or via Oversight, there is going to be a role for Congress in particular on vetting out corruption.”

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) has also been open about the GOP’s intentions to create a select committee, telling Breitbart over the summer that “there have already been discussions among members about what different committees need to contribute to a select committee to look into Hunter Biden.”

“Our base wants us to look at Hunter Biden,” a senior GOP aide told the Washington Post — an astute observation when the only insult to the American people equal to the Bidens’ behavior is the firm refusal in D.C. to seriously investigate it.

Now, Republicans must shoulder the responsibility of all the institutions that have failed their voters so far, and if they are put back in power it will be, at least in large part, on their promise of accountability.

THE BIDEN CRIME FAMILY

Jesse Watters: The people responsible won’t talk

The main objective of “political animals” like Obama and the Clintons is to get elected; it’s not to fix a broken America, nor to protect her. There are people who govern and there are people who campaign; Obama and the Clintons are the latter. Just look at the huge Republican electoral gains under Obama and the Clintons. It’s amazing that Democrats who still care about their party still support the very people who have brought it down.

FBI whistleblowers: In 2019, local leaders told FBI agents, 'You will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop'

Senator Ron Johnson has disclosed some of what multiple FBI whistleblowers have told him about the Bureau's suppression of investigation into the laptop computer abandoned by Hunter Biden at a Wilmington computer repair shop, in a letter sent to DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz, Jerry Dunleavy of the Washington Examiner has the story and quotes Senator Johnson:

"Whistleblowers have recently contacted my office to share serious concerns about the FBI's handling of Hunter Biden's laptop," Johnson told Horowitz, telling the watchdog that after the FBI obtained the laptop from a Delaware computer shop in late 2019, local FBI leadership told bureau employees that "you will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop" and that the FBI is "not going to change the outcome of the election again," the whistleblowers said.

Johnson said the new whistleblower claims "allege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden's laptop until after the 2020 presidential election — potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in Dec. 2019."  (snip)

"It is clear to me based on numerous credible whistleblower disclosures that the FBI cannot be trusted with the handling of Hunter Biden's laptop," Johnson told Horowitz this week. "I call on you to immediately investigate the FBI's handling of Hunter Biden's laptop and begin by obtaining the history of the investigative actions taken by the FBI on Hunter Biden's laptop which should be available on the FBI's case management system, Sentinel."

This is, of course, in addition to the FBI wrongly claiming that the laptop was Russian "disinformation."

The worries about changing the outcome of an election are ironic, given that the laptop came into its possession long before the 2020 presidential election, and given that the Bureau had no problem raiding Mar-a-Lago less than three months before the midterms.

Let's hope that more whistleblowers come forward and that they have plenty of documentary evidence.

Report– Joe Biden Warned (GAMER LAWYER) Brother Frank: ‘For Christ’s Sake, Watch Yourself’

President Joe Biden cautioned his brother Frank about potential business dealings during his campaign for president, according to a report.

“For Christ’s sake, watch yourself,” Biden said according to a report in Politico. “Don’t get sucked into something that would, first of all, hurt you.”

Politico cited a “person with knowledge of the conversation” in its report and said that Biden was “jocular and serious” in his comment to his brother.

Biden’s intention, Politico reports, was to protect his brother from “being hurt and vilified” because of his connections to the president.

Since Biden’s inauguration, questions about members of his family have been raised regarding their business dealings, especially after Republicans questioned his son Hunter Biden’s business deals with foreign countries during the campaign.

Frank Biden’s law firm, The Berman Law Group, promoted his relationship to President Biden in an advertisement on Inauguration Day.

“The two Biden brothers have long held a commitment to pushing environmental issues to the forefront; the president-elect has vowed to rejoin the Paris Agreement and wants to set ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets, for example,” the ad read.

A White House official responded to the story by warning that Joe Biden’s name should not be used in any commercial advertisement.

“It is this White House’s policy that the President’s name should not be used in connection with any commercial activities to suggest, or in any way that could reasonably understood to imply, his endorsement or support,” the official told CNBC in January.

Exclusive—Poster Released for Feature Film ‘My Son Hunter’: ‘As if Hunter Biden’s Laptop Exploded’

The official poster for My Son Hunter has arrived, and as director Robert Davi (Licensed to Kill, Die Hard, The Goonies) explained to Breitbart News, “I describe this movie as if Hunter’s laptop exploded onto the screen, and this poster reflects that in an amazing way.” Utilizing bold shades of red and green, the poster’s main image seems to be the filmmakers’ reference to Hunter’s recently video release—from his infamous stay at a detox center in 2019. Around the central image, it’s not hard to see what Davi is talking about. Images upon images from the controversial life of Hunter Biden provide a unique framing where one can witness everything from drug use to his promiscuous lifestyle, partying with strippers, corrupt business dealings, Ukrainian oligarchs, CCP emissaries, as well as his seemingly close relationship with his father, now President of the United States.

My Son Hunter—Breitbart News’ foray into film distribution—was crowdfunded by producers Phelim McAleer and Ann McElhinney of the Unreported Story Society.

“We crowdfunded My Son Hunter because this was a story that big tech and big media want to cover up,” Ann McElhinney told Breitbart. “They didn’t want the truth to ever see the light of day. But there is a hunger for truth out there. Hollywood would never make this movie. It doesn’t fit their narrative, so that’s why we had to get the American public to fund it.”

The feature length film is available for PRE-ORDER NOW and will be available for streaming and downloading on September 7 at MySonHunter.com.

Starring Laurence Fox (Victoria, Inspector Lewis, The Professor and the Madman) as Hunter Biden, My Son Hunter is a farcically hilarious and devastatingly factual look into the drug use, prostitution, and partying that consumed the future first son’s debauched life, as well as the shady international business deals—from Ukraine to China—that Hunter leveraged his father’s massive political power to land.

The movie also stars former MMA megastar Gina Carano (The Mandalorian, Dead Pool, Heist) as a Secret Service agent; John James as Joe Biden; and Emma Gojkovic as a sex worker that Hunter befriends.

Gina Carano plays a Secret Service Agent.

Actor John James plays Joe Biden.

“Working with Breitbart on this project made perfect sense to me. They’ve always been the first ones through the door, taking on the media and waging the culture war,” Davi said. “Given my friendship with Andrew, it’s a poignant moment for me to have this film represent Breitbart’s entry into the world of cinema, especially since the establishment media covered up the story of Hunter Biden in the most cynical of ways.”

Stopping Biden After November

As November looms, Republicans remain giddy about the probability of victory in both chambers of Congress.  Unfortunately, without a two-thirds majority needed to overturn regular and pocket vetoes by the president, a politically divisive America is likely to gridlock until the 2024 presidential election.  A modest Republican House majority could pull back hard on the reins, shaving or cutting off the lifeline to Democrat spendthrifts, but Biden will continue to rule unconstitutionally by pen and phone as his critics seek relief through court challenges that lack momentum.  Meanwhile, the border will remain open, every attempt to innervate the energy sector will be shot down, and we’ll continue along the course of a recession reinvented by the White House as normal and permanent.

Given the past inclination of Republicans to fight amongst themselves on the sidelines, it is an inconvenient truth that a slim congressional majority would not be enough to save them from their own party intrigues and petty rivalries.  Former Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan, who held himself up as the morally superior conscience of the Republican Party, saw Donald Trump as more an intruder than a president. He tolerated the White House agenda and held his nose as he gave them legislative victories -- rewriting the tax code and rebuilding the military -- before retiring with a smile and surrendering the gavel to Nancy Pelosi.

Then there are the blue-stained Republicans:  Mitt Romney, who voted to impeach Trump in 2020 but not to re-elect him as president, as well as Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, both moderates given to head fakes when it comes to party loyalty.  There would be no tolerance for such infidelity in the Democrat enclave, where unanimity, vis-à-vis antagonists Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema, is enforced through donor class pressures and backroom deals.

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell all but put his chips down on the Democrats in taking an offhand shot at Trump and blaming a prospective midterm loss in the Senate on the quality of Republican candidates.  That begs curiosity over why hopefuls Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania, Herschel Walker in North Carolina, and Blake Masters in Arizona, are all trailing in the polls before a visibly impaired stroke victim who thinks hoodies are business casual, a military-hater who has talked up Louis Farrakhan and played paddy fingers with campaign funds, and a former astronaut who retreats to inner space between elections, respectively.

Democrats always believe they have the upper hand in elections because they are running against Republicans.  They understand that the GOP lacks the type of cohesiveness and lockstep discipline that has become the trademark of the Democrat caucus.  If they can keep the party vote disparity to a minimum in the House, they retain the ability to draw away the more cantankerous members of the Republican party.  To neutralize the apostates within their own ranks, Republicans need more than an arm’s length victory in November.

Even before Joe Biden had a chance to change the knick-knacks in the Oval Office, Democrats of the newly-minted 117th Congress charged the Republican trenches with a call for an ethics investigation of any member who questioned the outcome of the 2020 election, the second impeachment of Donald Trump for high crimes and misdemeanors, creation of a January 6th Commission,  and a federal takeover of state elections. That was the opening engagement of a progressive broadside on the GOP and America writ large.

Few Republican legislative proposals have made it past the will of Nancy Pelosi, and the well of the House of Representatives that better serves as a graveyard for the bills and amendments submitted by the minority.  The House speaker trampled on the authority of the minority leader by repudiating his recommendations and cherry-picking the only two Republican representatives who voted for the January 6th committee to be rewarded with seats upon it.  For all her blustering about reaching across the aisle, bipartisanship in the 117th Congress has been little more than a gimmick wherein the lioness of the House separates one or two sheep from the Republican herd as window dressing on the title pages of Democrat legislation.

A Republican midterm victory will cause an adversarial media to shore up the battle lines.  There is a strong belief on the Left, obediently pushed by media propaganda, that the ill-defined MAGA, now advertised as a mass movement without a colorful chapeau, comprises the entire Republican base of Trump voters.  They are branded as white, blue-collar males with ideologies similar to the Ku Klux Klan and the John Birch Society, hopelessly irredeemable racists, sexists, and nativists who can barely conceal their biases against blacks, immigrants, and women.  We know this because the Washington Post said as much two months after the Biden inauguration, using a fishy survey of purported MAGA followers to set the stage for the progressive Left to initiate an economic and social fatwa to disarm and destroy the middle class.

Heir apparent House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has already promised investigations and hearings on Hunter Biden, the Trump-Russia hoax, the Afghan retreat, FBI abuses, and getting the backstory of January 6th.  There will be efforts to impeach Biden cabinet officials for malfeasance in their duties.  The Democrats will do everything in their power to obstruct these proceedings through social media censorship, a blitzkrieg of misinformation, and false allegations.

Cracks are already appearing in the Republican strategy.  McCarthy has already dropped a well-earned Biden impeachment from the 2023 to-do list and cautions against committee vendettas for political purposes, apparently abdicating those hijinks to the Democrats.  Generic congressional ballots are now slowly swinging back in the Democrats favor, going as far as to give them a four-point edge to hold onto power in the House.

As Democrats continue to hawk snake oil over Republican threats to democracy, the GOP leadership continues to pull their punches by not continually harping upon the obvious policy missteps and flagrant felonies of the ruling party.  Nor are they using the summer doldrums to put forth a plan that would anchor a Republican pledge of a better life for all Americans.  You cannot find a more troubled political landscape in which to offer such an alternative: Biden’s polling is the worst of any president in modern history, only Harris’s numbers are worse, and with few exceptions every congressional Democrat has voted in lockstep to advance partisan legislation clearly at odds with the economic well-being of the citizenry and their protection from harm both here and abroad.

Republicans need not build castles in the air or keep their powder dry until the next presidential election.  There is considerable prima facie evidence to convene proceedings against the Biden administration’s policies, departments, agencies, cabinet heads, and West Wing babysitters of Joe Biden.  As Chuck Schumer and Pelosi have done on so many occasions, McCarthy and McConnell need to ascend the pulpit in partnership to unveil a New Contract with America.  From bow to stern and athwartship, the ship of the republic needs to be brought to drydock for an overhaul.  The GOP will not be forgiven for missed opportunities.

Democrats will not go gently into that good night.  Dark Brandon will follow the script and frustrate all attempts by a Republican majority to secure the border, regain energy independence, improve the supply chain, stop the academic brainwashing of our children, or curb inflation.  Their agenda can be slowly rolled back so long as we can keep a new Republican majority from doing unto itself and their voters that which they consider too punitive to do to the other side of the aisle.

The FBI: A Campaign Arm of the Democrat Party

By Brian C. Joondeph

“Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity” is the FBI motto. According to the FBI website, this motto, “Succinctly describes the motivating force behind the men and women of the FBI.”

The motto may have been accurate in the 1965-1974 TV series, “The FBI”, where Efrem Zimbalist Jr epitomized those words every Sunday night on prime-time television. But today the FBI has morphed into a campaign arm of the Democrat Party, attempting to influence elections in favor of their preferred candidates, acting more like the East German Stasi or Soviet KGB rather than the premier law enforcement agency in the world.

Perhaps a new motto of “Funny Business Incorporated” or “Friendly to Biden Interests” would be more appropriate to their apparent new mission. When did the FBI, the largest and most heavily armed law enforcement agency in America, now inserting itself unconstitutionally into American politics, pivot from fidelity and integrity to partisanship and dishonesty?

Start with the 2016 presidential election. Many are already familiar with Spygate. According to Jeff Carlson:

Efforts by high-ranking officials in the CIA, FBI, Department of Justice (DOJ), and State Department to portray President Donald Trump as having colluded with Russia were the culmination of years of bias and politicization under the Obama administration.

The weaponization of the intelligence community and other government agencies created an environment that allowed for obstruction in the investigation into Hillary Clinton and the relentless pursuit of a manufactured collusion narrative against Trump.

A willing and complicit media spread unsubstantiated leaks as facts in an effort to promote the Russia-collusion narrative.

The Spygate scandal also raises a bigger question: Was the 2016 election a one-time aberration, or was it symptomatic of decades of institutional political corruption?

The FBI was in the middle of this true insurrection, meant to derail a presidential campaign, election, transition, and administration with fabricated claims of collusion, lying to Congress and the American people, and then attempting to cover everything up via the Muller/Weissman investigation, including a recent raid on Mar-a-Lago to possibly confiscate incriminating Spygate documents in President Trump’s possession.

Other Obama administration agencies and officials were also involved but the FBI was in the thick of it, with Director James Comey and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. Other familiar names include Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok and his girlfriend FBI attorney Lisa Page.

Don’t forget another FBI attorney Kevin Clinesmith who knowingly lied on a FISA warrant application about Carter Page’s work for the CIA. Despite pleading guilty to a felony false statement charge, Clinesmith is once again free to practice law. Are any of the January 6 detainees recipients of such judicial largess?

There has been little or no reckoning for these Spygate players and rather than being punished for their criminal and seditious activity, they have been rewarded with university teaching gigs, book deals, and frequent appearances on left-wing cable news shows. Perhaps Special Counsel John Durham will eventually hold the FBI bad actors to account, but Spygate is now six years in the past and it is looking increasingly likely that the FBI will skate.

Jeff Carlson raised the interesting question of whether Spygate was a one-off event or part of a larger and more systemic corruption of the FBI and other three-letter agencies. Despite not derailing candidate or President Donald Trump in 2016, they certainly tried again in 2020, this time succeeding. And they are already working on 2024, before a single candidate has announced his or her candidacy.

The FBI obtained Hunter Biden’s laptop in December 2019, a full year before the presidential election. Rather than investigating and reporting on what they found, they slow rolled the laptop as it revealed knowledge of and involvement in foreign business deals with candidate Joe “Big Guy” Biden and his son Hunter, in a manner that could be construed as a quid pro quo of selling the office of the president to foreign interests.

letter from Senator Ron Johnson to Justice Department Inspector Michael Horowitz spelled out the FBI’s role in again “campaigning” for the Democrat candidate. Senator Johnson asserted the following,

Whistleblowers have come forward to Congress alleging that FBI officials intentionally undermined efforts to investigate Hunter Biden.

After the FBI obtained the Hunter Biden laptop from the Wilmington, DE computer shop, these whistleblowers stated that local FBI leadership told employees, “You will not look at that Hunter Biden laptop” and that the FBI is “not going to change the outcome of the election again.” Further, these whistleblowers allege that the FBI did not begin to examine the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop until after the 2020 presidential election -- potentially a year after the FBI obtained the laptop in December 2019.

And influence an election they did. Media Research Center conducted a poll of 1,750 voters in seven swing states and learned that, “One of every six Biden voters (17%) said they would not have voted for him had they known the facts about several of the news stories the national media refused to investigate thoroughly because they might have hurt his candidacy.”

Jesse Watters noted that the 2020 presidential election was decided by 44,000 votes in Georgia, Wisconsin, and Arizona. The FBI suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story would have been more than enough to account for this margin if the above survey was reflective of voter sentiment, demonstrating how the FBI interfered with and likely altered the outcome the election.

Not only did the FBI interfere directly, they also urged social media to do the same, the government suppressing the right to free speech by proxy. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg explained to Joe Rogan recently,

Speaking on an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Zuckerberg explained, "The FBI, I think, basically came to us -- some folks on our team -- and was like, 'Hey, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert…  We thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that, basically, there's about to be some kind of dump of that's similar to that. So just be vigilant.’"

Zuckerberg acknowledged that "the distribution on Facebook was decreased" of the New York Post’s story about Hunter Biden's laptop, noting, "fewer people saw it than would've otherwise."

The FBI had the laptop for almost a year and right before the election conveniently declared it Russian propaganda, a falsehood parroted by “51 former intelligence officials.” The FBI, and Big Tech under FBI encouragement, fabricated and spread Russian propaganda in 2016 when it could hurt the Republican candidate and suppressed and censored a real story in 2020 it when it could hurt the Democrat candidate. That certainly sounds like election interference.

The Mar-a-Lago raid is a shot across the bow for any GOP presidential candidates for 2024, Trump being the presumptive nominee at this point. Will the FBI ask the DoJ to indict Trump on nonsensical declassification accusations? While they gave candidate Hillary Clinton a pass despite her using an unsecured server and personal email account to traffic highly classified emails? The FBI is delivering a warning to Trump. Will Governor Ron DeSantis be the next one to have his home raided by the FBI?

We expect this type of behavior from the corporate media, academia, Hollywood, big finance, big pharma, big tech, and other Democrat party constituent groups, but not the FBI and other government agencies.

This is a true insurrection, not the nonsense “soon to be former” representatives Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are bloviating over. And where are congressional Republicans? Most are voicing support for the FBI, ignoring this blatant subversion of democracy and the Constitution.

Perhaps most Republicans support the new FBI mission -- stopping Donald Trump at all costs, ignoring the weaponization of the federal government against political enemies. Will voters reward milquetoast Republicans, most of whom are no better than their Democrat colleagues across the aisle, or will many say “why vote Republican,” throwing up their hands on election day, not wasting time on meaningless elections? Such a strategy may not lead to an expected red wave.

Is a weaponized national police force something the Founding Fathers wrote into the Constitution? Or just another example of America sliding from a representative republic into a totalitarian state?

The DOJ and FBI are beyond fixing

By Frank Liberato

Republicans and conservatives like to say that we must reform the Justice Department and FBI. I disagree. If we win the majority in Congress, they both need to be gone. That means completely gone, with no attempt to reform or rebuild them. That may sound like an overreach but the time to restore our constitutional republic is upon us.

Do any of us really believe that we are somehow safer or more secure with an intact DOJ and FBI? They are irredeemably corrupt. Weeding out some of the more sinister miscreants within those organizations will not change the culture that has evolved over the past few decades. We have already tried that, and it made matters worse.

We should thank Barack Obama and Joe Biden for clearly illustrating to the American people the dangers inherent in an enforcement arm of the federal government. We are now living in a police state that will, through intimidation and force, move the country toward one-party rule and totalitarianism.

How many more lives must be destroyed before we all understand that we are under attack for what we believe including (indeed, especially) exercising our First Amendment rights? It has moved far beyond just Donald Trump and virtually anyone associated with him. Now, if you sell pillows for a living and in any way suggest that you believe the 2020 election was a fraud, then you’re on the list for FBI harassment and possible arrest. Never mind all that “free country” and “Bill of Rights” stuff.

This is obviously not the American way. It is, however, the type of behavior that was instrumental in stirring up the American Revolution. We are witnessing a “long train of abuses and usurpations.” President Trump recently said that, if he were to serve a second term, he would fire 50,000 swamp creatures across several government agencies. God bless him, but that number is woefully inadequate. It literally needs to be upwards of a million pink slips if we are ever to restore our constitutional government.

I understand that people have become accustomed to the nanny state and that we need to move forward slowly, with respect for both the constitution and the rule of law, but we’ve been going in reverse for more than a century. There are now well over 400 federal government agencies, and almost all of them are unconstitutional. People are beginning to understand that the “nanny” can morph into an unholy witch at a moment’s notice. Our representatives need to start making big changes to try and unravel this mess before it consumes us. Defunding it is a good place to start.

The Constitution clearly spells out the government’s role. Nowhere does it call for a government police force. There is also little doubt that, as matters now stand, removing the DOJ and FBI would enhance domestic tranquility. These rogue agencies consider half the American population their enemies. That’s hardly a recipe for domestic tranquility. We did just fine without them for nearly a century, and we would be better off if they were gone tomorrow.

After all, the Constitution intended for the states to absorb the policing duties that are now assigned to the federal government. If a state “department of justice” and its police force become corrupt, that does not affect the lives and rights of American citizens in the same way that it does at the national level.

It’s also easier to fix corrupt agencies belonging to the individual states. Those institutions are closer to the people and can more readily be protested or elected away. If a state government becomes in any way oppressive, people have the option of leaving. Most would not but, depending on the level of oppression, many would.

You need look no further than what is happening in California today. A torrent of people is leaving the state. This solution is not available at the federal level. Most people do not have the means to leave the country and would not want to leave if they did. They are Americans.

If the government needs lawyers to defend itself or to prosecute individuals within the government, they can be hired out of the private sector as they were before the DOJ’s creation. Think of how much money would be saved yearly—somewhere in the neighborhood of a quarter of a trillion dollars.

What manner of ominous changes might we face without ten thousand government lawyers and their police force? Perhaps, securing the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity? Maybe an American renaissance? The pre-COVID booming Trump economy was largely the result of his efforts at deregulation. Downsizing the government is the ultimate form of deregulation and what better place to begin than with the corrupt police state.

Rep. Jordan Eyes Eliminating FISA, ‘Major Changes’ at FBI, DOJ if GOP Wins Control of Congress

 By Craig Bannister | October 10, 2022 | 3:51pm EDT

Rep. Jim Jordan

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) says there need to be “major changes” to the Justice Department and FBI, and FISA should be allowed to expire, if Republicans win control of Congress in November.

“I think we should not even reauthorize FISA (The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act), which is going to come in the next Congress,” Rep. Jordan said in a Fox News Channel interview on Sunday. At the very least, Congress needs to change the FISA process, Jordan said.

FISA was intended to facilitate the gathering of foreign, not domestic, intelligence information. But, conservatives have become increasing concerned about abuses of the FISA process to gain authority to spy on Democrats’ political enemies.

Among the most egregious abuses were those committed in order to gain permission to spy on Trump Campaign Advisor, Carter Page, Heritage.com notes:

“[T]he very contacts that the FBI cited in the FISA application to establish that Page was really a clandestine foreign agent were known to and had been approved by another U.S. intelligence agency.  The IG report also states that an FBI lawyer—reported to be Kevin Clinesmith—subsequently altered a document he received from the other agency to indicate, falsely, that Page was not a source for that other agency.”

Given that the Justice Dept. committed more than a dozen errors and omissions in its application to surveil Page, Republicans are eager to address the problems with FISA’s provision allowing for warrantless surveillance, The Washington Examiner explains:

“Allies of former President Donald Trump have demanded FISA reform after Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report in 2019 that criticized the Justice Department and the FBI for at least 17 “significant errors and omissions” related to the FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associate Carter Page, a U.S. citizen who was suspected of acting on Russia's behalf but never charged with wrongdoing, and its heavy reliance on British ex-spy Christopher Steele’s salacious and unverified dossier in seeking that spy authorization from the FISA Court.

“Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee are already gearing up for the renewal fight and the expectation that the GOP will win control of the lower chamber in the midterm elections, with a "working group" performing a review on FISA's Section 702, which covers the NSA’s warrantless surveillance program, ranking member Mike Turner of Ohio told the Record.”

In addition to reforming or eliminating FISA, Congress also needs to examine ways to drastically reform the Justice Department and FBI, Rep. Jordan said in his Sunday interview, when asked about the prospect of impeaching U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.

In particular, the FBI’s Washington field office has “way too much power,” which needs to be dispersed, Rep. Jordan said:

“We have to look real closely at the Justice Department. And I think we may have to do some major changes. There may need to be structural changes at the FBI. The Washington field office has way too much power. We may need to disperse power around. There needs to be process changes. One of the things that happens is, the FBI goes to interview someone.”

Rep. Jordan also cited the targeting of Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn in a case where the Justice Department eventually tried to drop the charges, but were prevented from doing so by an anti-Trump judge, prompting then-Pres. Trump to pardon him:

“When they interviewed Mike Flynn, they did a 302 (summary report) and write things down, and then they prosecuted Michael Flynn. We actually think, maybe, there should be an audio tape of that, so we can actually get the facts of what took place.

“Because we know that they went to set up Michael Flynn back in the early days of the Trump Administration. So, maybe, we need to deal with their funding.”

EXCLUSIVE: 'You gotta get some help.' Listen to Joe Biden's tearful voicemail plea to Hunter revealing he knew his son was having a drug-fueled meltdown at the time he bought a gun - and lied about being a drug abuser on purchase form

  • Joe Biden sounds close to tears as he begs Hunter to get help in a voicemail on October 15, 2018
  • The timing of message  reveals the president knew about his son's drug-fueled meltdown at the time he purchased a gun  three days earlier on October 12
  • Hunter, 52, lied about being a drug user when filling out a sworn gun purchase form at a Delaware store
  • The First Son checked off that he was not a user of illegal drugs, but later admitted in his own memoir that he was a crack addict at the time
  • Lying on gun forms is a felony, punishable by a maximum 10 years prison and a $250,000 fine
  • 'It's Dad,' says Joe in the October 15 voicemail three days after the gun incident: 'You gotta get some help. I know you don't know what to do, I don't either'
  • Comes after it was revealed Thursday that federal agents believe there is enough evidence to charge Hunter with tax crimes and lying on a firearms document

Joe Biden knew about Hunter's drug-fueled meltdown at the time his son bought a gun and lied about being a drug user on the sworn purchase form, a voicemail from the president to his son reveals.

Biden sounds close to tears in the voicemail left on Hunter's abandoned laptop on October 15 - three days after Hunter bought the gun and lied about being a drug addict - begging him to get help.

'It's Dad. I called to tell you I love you. I love you more than the whole world pal,' Joe said in the October 15 message. 'You gotta get some help. I know you don't know what to do, I don't either.'

On October 12, 2018 Hunter Biden bought a .38 caliber pistol from a Delaware gun store. About two weeks later his lover and brother's widow Hallie Biden found it 'unlocked' in his truck and threw it in a grocery store trash can. Its discovery sparked a police investigation.

The incident is reportedly one of the potential crimes that federal law enforcement have enough evidence on to charge the First Son, according to a Washington Post report Thursday.

Hunter wrote on the Firearm Transaction Record that he did not use unlawful drugs, but admitted in his memoir that he was a crack addict at the time. Lying on the federal form is a felony.

Texts on Hunter's abandoned laptop reveal Joe Biden knew his son was having a meltdown at the time. The texts reveal how Joe was sucked into his son's torrid love life and became a punching bag for Hunter's drug-fueled rants

In his memoir, Beautiful Things, Hunter admitted to his continued 'full-blown addiction' at the time of the gun incident ¿ and in doing so, appeared to admit to the felony of lying on the firearm form. The emotional voicemail, along with frantic texts between Hunter and Hallie on the laptop, could form part of the evidence prosecutors use to build their case, should they decide to prosecute Hunter for the alleged felony.

Emails, text messages, and photographs previously published by DailyMail.com are among a wealth of evidence that prosecutors could use at trial if Hunter Biden is charged with tax crimes and lying on gun purchase documents.

The FBI believes it has enough evidence to charge Hunter Biden with failure to declare income from his foreign business deals and a failure to declare he was a drug addict on a gun application.

Agents told the Post they assembled enough evidence for a criminal case against the First Son 'months ago' – and the decision to charge now lies with federal prosecutors.

The agents claim they have sufficient proof that Hunter failed to declare income from his overseas business dealings to the IRS.

Hunter Biden and sister-in-law lover Hallie Biden

Hunter barely had the gun for a two weeks when a dangerous incident occurred. His lover and brother's widow Hallie Biden found it in his truck on October 23 and threw it in a trash can outside local grocery store Janssens, opposite a high school.

Hunter argued about the incident with Hallie in panicked text messages in the following days. ¿The f***ing FBI Hallie. It¿s hard to believe anyone is that stupid // so what¿s my fault here Hallie that you speak of. Owning a gun that¿s in a locked car hidden on another property?,¿ he wrote. ¿It was open unlocked and windows down and the kids search your car,¿ Hallie replied. ¿I¿m scared you would use it hunt ¿ I¿m scared for your life hunt'

The First Son also wrote on a gun application that he was not a user of illegal drugs, but later admitted in his own memoir that he was a crack addict at the time.

On October 12, 2018 Hunter bought a .38 caliber handgun from StarQuest Shooters & Survival Supply in Wilmington, Delaware.

The federally required Firearm Transaction Record for the purchase, obtained by DailyMail.com, asks: 'Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?'

Hunter checked the box: 'No'.

But in his memoir, Beautiful Things, he admitted to his continued 'full-blown addiction' at the time – and in doing so, appeared to admit to the felony of lying on the firearm form.

'I had returned [to the East Coast] that fall of 2018, after my most recent relapse in California, with the hope of getting clean through a new therapy and reconciling with Hallie. Neither happened,' he wrote in the 2021 autobiography.

He said he would go for regular ketamine therapy sessions as part of his rehab treatment but continued to smoke crack throughout.

It was later revealed Hunter allegedly lied on a firearm report (above) required for the transaction. A photo of the form shows the first son allegedly answered 'no' when asked if he was an 'unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance'

'The therapy's results were disastrous,' he wrote. 'I backslid. I did exactly what I'd come to Massachusetts to stop doing. I'd stay clean for a week, break away from the center to meet a connection I found in Rhode Island, smoke up, then return.

'One thing I did remarkably well during that time was fool people about whether or not I was using. Between trips up there, I even bought clean urine from a dealer in New York to pass drug tests.

'I doubt much good comes from doing ketamine while you're on crack.'

A copy of the Firearms Transaction Record and a receipt for the purchase was first obtained by news site Politico last year.

Lying on gun forms is a felony, punishable by a maximum 10 years prison and a $250,000 fine.

In March 2021 a bombshell report published by Politico revealed Hunter's sister-in-law and one-time girlfriend Hallie had found the gun in his car, wrapped it in a plastic bag, and put it in a trash can outside Janssen's Market (pictured) in Wilmington, Delaware in October 2018, because she feared he would use it to kill himself

However, not all cases are prosecuted. Of the 478 referrals for 'lying and buying' the Justice Department received in 2018, charges were filed for 298 cases, about 60%.

Hunter barely had the gun for a two weeks when a dangerous incident occurred.

His lover and brother's widow Hallie Biden found it in his truck on October 23 and threw it in a trash can outside local grocery store Janssens, opposite a high school.

It was discovered by a homeless man rifling through the trash. Local police as well as the FBI were called.

Hunter argued about the incident with Hallie in panicked text messages in the following days.

'The f***ing FBI Hallie. It's hard to believe anyone is that stupid // so what's my fault here Hallie that you speak of. Owning a gun that's in a locked car hidden on another property?,' he wrote.

'It was open unlocked and windows down and the kids search your car,' Hallie replied. 'I'm scared you would use it hunt … I'm scared for your life hunt.'

Despite the Bidens not having Secret Service protection at the time, USSS agents reportedly showed up and asked the gun store owner, Ron Palmieri, to hand over purchase documents.

Suspecting the case would be covered up, Palmieri refused and instead later gave his papers to agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, according to a March 2021 Politico report.

In texts obtained by DailyMail.com, Hunter messaged his therapist to tell him about the ordeal. 'She stole the gun out of my truck lock box and threw in a garbage can full to the top at Jansens. Then told me it was my problem to deal with,' Hunter wrote

The Secret Service has denied any involvement. But in texts from Hunter's laptop he also claimed they had a role in the debacle.

'She stole the gun out of my truck lock box and threw in a garbage can full to the top at Jansens. Then told me it was my problem to deal with,' Hunter wrote in a three-way text message with Hallie and his therapist in January 2019.

'Then when the police the FBI the secret service came on the scene she said she took it from me because she was scared I would harm myself due to my drug and alcohol problem and our volatile relationship and that she was afraid for the kids.'

Transparency organization Judicial Watch is currently suing the Secret Service over its refusal to hand over records relating to the incident under the Freedom of Information Act.

Last year the agency told Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson, who have been investigating Hunter's potential criminal activity, they weren't involved.

'The Secret Service did not provide protection to any member of the Biden family in 2018,' special agent in charge Benjamin Kramer said in a letter published by the Republican senators.

'Further, records searches concerning the reported involvement of Secret Service personnel in the alleged incident have yielded no results.'
