Matt Taibbi: Biden’s push for a Disinformation Governance Board is ‘terrifying’
Democrats, led by Virgin Islands delegate Stacey Plaskett, are threatening independent journalist Matt Taibbi with prison time for his role in “Twitter Files” reporting, alleging — falsely — that he committed perjury.
Last month, Plaskett and other Democrats attacked Taibbi and colleague Michael Shellenberger, who exposed collusion between federal law enforcement agencies and Twitter in suppressing conservative views and voices.
Plaskett and her team on the House Weaponization Subcommittee defended the practice of censorship by the government, and even attacked the basic business model of journalism, used by outlets of all viewpoints.
Last week, as investigative journalist Lee Fang reported Thursday, Plaskett wrote to Taibbi, accusing him of committing perjury by claiming Twitter had worked with the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
Plaskett cited a segment on the Mehdi Hasan Show on MSNBC, during which the host accused Taibbi of altering the acronym “CIS” to “CIS[A],” a claim Taibbi said may have been an error. Fang notes: “Taibbi has admitted mistaking CIS for CISA in a single tweet in one of his many threads, but his testimony to Congress was entirely different. Hasan deceptively conflated this quickly corrected tweet with Taibbi’s testimony.”
Plaskett cited Hasan’s erroneous fact-check in accusing Taibbi of committing perjury — which, she noted, it punishable by five years’ imprisonment. As fellow independent journalist Glenn Greenwald noted, that was a more direct threat to freedom of the press than any insult President Donald Trump hurled at the media.
During the March hearing, Plaskett also attempted to bully Taibbi into revealing his sources — then denied doing so.

I'm a lifelong Republican voter, born and raised in Massachusetts. My Dad is a well informed, outspoken, rock-ribbed conservative republican. I remember him putting a Barry Goldwater bumper sticker on our station wagon in 1964, when we lived in tough, blue-collar Worcester. This man is afraid of nothing.
I was afforded many opportunities to listen to lively political discourse at family events while I was growing up. These people loved one another, so the discussions were never nasty or hurtful. Most of the younger members of the family watching these discussions eventually gravitated toward being Republicans. Family fights and ugly words would not have produced that result. That was an important lesson.
It's no secret that deep-blue Massachusetts breeds rabid leftist ideologues — it's the state's chief export (and I do mean chief). However, those people aren't anywhere near the majority in Massachusetts, even though they run the place. The fact is, these people aren't the majority anywhere, though they try to convince us otherwise.
Here is the problem in a nutshell. Most Democrat voters don't realize that leftist idealogues have hijacked the Democrat party, actively pushing traditional Democrat politicians out. They don't yet understand that the Democrat party they knew doesn't exist anymore. Almost all of the major news organizations work together to lie to Democrat voters and feed them misinformation constantly. Corrupted government entities like the FBI and the DOJ, and the leftists running all social media, have worked together to censor and silence any dissenting voices. The goal is to create a false reality in the eyes of Democrat voters and shield them from the truth. This is vital to ensure their continued support on Election Day.
Most Democrat voters I talk to up here are comparatively normal, although deceived and misinformed. Most of them don't seem to like leftists very much, though. Many of them can't identify with their own party anymore and feel like displaced persons politically. When he was voted in as House minority leader, Hakeem Jeffries received 100% of the vote from his party. It's interesting that he had only a 35% approval rating among Democrat voters at the time. That left 65% who disapproved. That tells me that, yes, the leftists have hijacked the Democrat party, and it tells me that there's a large pool of Democrat voters who aren't on board with their party right now. Quite a few of them are starting to tune out, too. Have you seen CNN's ratings lately?
We have a rare opportunity. Shocking levels of malfeasance and corruption from leftist Democrats have recently been revealed to the public. They can no longer hide what they really are and what they're doing to this country. Let's dialogue with that disillusioned 65% and show them the evidence. They have no one else to tell them the truth. It's the only way to undermine the stranglehold leftists currently have on the Democrat party.
I'm not saying we should waste our time trying to talk to people who wear "pussy hats" and take their toddlers to Drag Queen Story Hour. Only a psychiatrist can help people like those. I'm saying that we can, and we should, try to engage positively with reasonable Democrat voters about the current state of the country.
First, we need to get the idea out of our heads that every democrat voter is a Marxist. Many are, there's no doubt. However, the guy next door mowing his lawn and taking his kids to Little League is not a Marxist. He's a guy who never hears the truth, doesn't know where to find it, is probably part of the 65% who aren't Hakeem Jeffries fans, and is likely to have tuned out of current events to keep from losing his mind. He just doesn't know enough to stop pulling the "D" lever on election day. If the truth can find Naomi Wolfe, then we can reach this guy.
Below are a few subject ideas, with some information links to show people. As you see below, try to ask non-confrontational questions, and know your facts. Remember, we're trying to expose reasonable Democrat voters to truths the lying media never let them see, not win an argument. Try to guide them to good-quality, well sourced information on sites like American Thinker, Breitbart News, American Greatness, etc. If you can expose them to the truth, they won't be able to unsee it.
Right Track, Wrong Track
Did you know that nearly 70% of Americans polled think the country is on the "wrong track" at this point? That's 7 out of 10 Americans. Do you agree with that majority? Do you think most Democrats you know agree with the majority? Who do you think makes up the small group who feels like everything is just fine?
Government Censorship
Have you heard any information from the so-called "Twitter Files" on the news? Are you comfortable with the idea of the FBI, and even the White House, censoring free speech on social media? It's clear now that the federal government worked to eliminate all opposing political views, tried to remove people who disagreed with the Democrat party, and hid important medical information from the public. Are you aware that it is a violation of the U.S. Constitution for the federal government to engage in censorship of any kind? Have you ever seen the government behaving like this before?
We've been told for two years that the protest on January 6 was an "armed insurrection." That claim has been used to justify the arrest and incarceration of hundreds of people, and used to justify the censorship of those who disagree with the Democrat party. No one outside the January 6 Committee was allowed to see any of the supposed evidence supporting all this government activity. Recently, hidden security tapes were seized and finally made public by the speaker of the House, who allowed Tucker Carlson to play them on his news show. Did you see any of the revelations from these security tapes? If so, what did you think when you saw that we've been lied to by our government? Do you still trust President Biden, Democrat politicians, or the mainstream media to tell you the truth about important issues?
Enemies of the State?
President Biden repeatedly says that he considers conservative Republicans "enemies of the state" (here and here), as do other Democrat politicians. Do you agree that fully half the country's voters are "enemies of the state," simply because they don't agree with President Biden and current Democrat policies? Are you comfortable with President Biden recklessly taunting American citizens (here and here) during speeches, saying that they would "need F-15s" to prevent the federal government from basically trampling our guaranteed constitutional rights? Have you ever heard a U.S. president saying things like these before?
As the media and other Democrats salivate about Trump being charged with a crime in one of the many witch hunts, they should be asked some questions. They say he must be charged because we need election fairness and no one is above the law.
So here is a sample of what politicians and bureaucrats have done in the last 12 years, and I wonder what people think is the bigger threat and who was actually above the law.
The Obama IRS targeting political opponents in an effort to silence them before elections.
It was a clear violation of the First Amendment, yet every participant of the government was above the law. They destroyed computers and lied to Congress, but the Justice Department let them off.
The U.S. Justice Department has reached a settlement with dozens of conservative groups that claimed the Internal Revenue Service unfairly scrutinized them based on their political leanings when they sought a tax-exempt status, court documents showed.
The Justice Department was involved from the start.
The documents prove that Lois Lerner met with DOJ’s Election Crimes Division a month before the 2010 elections.
It has to be embarrassing to the DOJ, which may not be the most impartial one to be investigating the IRS. In fact, the DOJ withheld over 800 pages of Lerner documents citing "taxpayer privacy" and "deliberative privilege." Yet these internal DOJ documents show Ms. Lerner was talking to DOJ officials about prosecuting tax-exempt entities (yes, criminally!) two years before the IRS conceded there was inappropriate targeting.
It sure helps a criminal when a biased political supporter conducts the pretend investigation.
It looks like the Biden IRS is still targeting political enemies instead of doing their job. I have been a CPA for 46 years and not once have I seen a house call. Should we trust the IRS with 87,000 more agents?
Hillary and her aides actively destroying documents and equipment, as they violated several laws according to James Comey. Yet they all were above the law.

The media and other Democrats knew there was no evidence of illegality or collusion, yet the stories persisted for years for the sole purpose of destroying a President whom they disagreed with.
The government, journalists, and former intelligence officials colluded to bury the story of Biden family corruption specifically to hide the truth before an election. Biden didn't pay anybody to squelch the story. They did it because they were actively campaigning for him.
Hunter's business partner visited the White House sixteen times while Joe was VP yet somehow the media, who say they care about facts and corruption, still don't care. Democrats also pretend that Joe is telling the truth when he said he never had anything to do with Hunter's business deal and that he and his family never received money from foreign sources.
Isn't it time that journalists and other Democrats stopped intentionally misleading the public that they believe the Justice Department is impartial and that no one is above the law. It is such an obvious lie -- yet none of the people pretending to be fact checkers call them out because they are just as dishonest.

Matt Taibbi: Biden’s push for a Disinformation Governance Board is ‘terrifying’
Authoritarian governments across the world are looking to censor the Internet in order to “control people”, a senior official from ICANN has said.
David Huberman, a senior official within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has accused authoritarian governments across the globe of looking to fracture the Internet in the hopes of controlling people.
Legally registered as an NGO, ICANN is responsible for making the international system of IP addresses function correctly, with the organisation describing itself as being “dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable”.
Those within the organisation are now claiming that authoritarian governments are starting to get in the way of this goal, with Huberman telling the Cloudfest industry meeting in Germany that some states now aim to cut up the Internet in order to better control their populations.
“The potential fragmentation of the Internet is a worrying topic,” Der Spiegelreports the expert as saying, before discussing the impact that such governments could have on the Internet.
“They are authoritarian governments that want to control their people,” he said.
Although Huberman did not name any individual nation-states in particular as being involved in this effort to undermine the net, the report published by Der Spiegel goes on to name China, Iran, and Russia as being the three countries tech experts are primarily focused on.
However, many governments in the West are also now jumping on the bandwagon of splitting off and censoring the Internet, with authorities in the United Kingdom and European Union in particular now regularly taking potshots at the free transmission of information online.
Authorities in Brussels have so far been the most active in forcing Internet censorship on the people, blocking its citizens from accessing a number of Russian news outlets online in March last year.
Such material can now only be accessed by those residing within the bloc through use of a virtual private network (VPN), similar to how those living within Communist China must use such services to access many Western websites and media outlets.
Politicians in the United Kingdom appear to be just as keen on implementing widespread Internet censorship, with the country’s planned Online Safety Bill set to hand regulators widespread powers to force social media firms to censor content deemed to problematic.
As of the time of writing, such targets of censorship will range from already highly illegal content such as child pornography to perfectly legal material that simply upsets the progressive sensibilities of those ruling Britain.
The planned censorship regime has been widely panned by various tech firms as being set to end Internet privacy in the UK, with the bill set to render end-to-end encryption effectively illegal by mandating chat apps spy on their userbase using AI to make sure they are not doing anything illegal.
Multiple apps, including Signal and WhatsApp, have now threatened that they will withdraw their services entirely from the country should the bill become law, saying that the measures would completely compromise security and privacy on their platforms.
I never thought I’d be thanking an ex-Democrat former congresswoman and presidential candidate for telling the truth, exposing the evil Democrat agenda and saving the GOP. But former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just broke the mold.
Tulsi, we all love and appreciate you. You are our hero. You may have changed the midterms. You may have just saved America!

Gabbard’s exit speech read like a Donald Trump or Wayne Allyn Root stump speech. She called Democrats an elitist cabal.
She admitted they have weaponized the government against conservatives.
She blames Democrats for wanting to kill free speech and send their political opponents to prison.
She reported Democrats are anti-white — in other words, she admitted Democrats are racists who hate white people.
She said Democrats are hostile to people of faith — and want to take away our God-given freedoms.
She admitted Democrats have purposely opened the borders to destroy America.
She reported Democrats hate and demonize the police and openly protect and support criminals.
She said Democrats are a cabal of warmongers intent on starting World War III and bringing us purposely to the brink of nuclear war.
She said Democrats don’t believe in government of, by and for the people, but rather a government of, by and for the powerful elite.
She warned of the woke direction these radical, extreme idealogues are taking our country.
And then she added in a media interview that Democrats are ushering in the “normalization of pedophilia.”
All true. But… WOW. My jaw is on the floor. No former high-level Democrat official has ever said these words in history.
I’ve reported and warned about every one of these threats to our country for many years. So, what’s the significance of Gabbard saying these same things?
No. 1: She is the first Democrat congresswoman and former Democrat presidential candidate to ever admit any of this. That’s credibility.
No. 2: She is giving an “insider” account of what is happening in the Democrat Party at the highest levels. She is a witness. She proves what I’ve always warned: These are not mistakes, ignorance or incompetence. This is all a purposeful, planned, coordinated, radical, extreme, communist, globalist, fascist attack on America.
No. 3: Her words should embolden moderate and RINO Republicans to tell the truth about how bad this attack on America really is — 99% of Republican candidates have never gone this far, never used words like this. They are cowards, scared of their own shadows. They’re worried about what the media would say about them. Hopefully Gabbard’s words will embolden (or shame) them to start telling the raw truth about what what’s really happening to America. Gabbard gives them cover.
No. 4: Gabbard’s brave words and action could inspire moderate, non-insane Democrats like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona to leave the Democrat Party to become either Republicans or independents.
My hope is that Tulsi Gabbard is the canary in the coal mine. She is the model. She has started a trend. She has started a tsunami away from the radical, insane, extreme, America-hating Democrat Party.
Gabbard then backed up her words by immediately endorsing two MAGA, America-First Republican candidates: Joe Kent for Congress in Washington and GOP Senate candidate Dan Bolduc in New Hampshire. I don’t know if Gabbard is officially joining the GOP, but it’s a darn good start!

Biden family’s business dealings are incredibly ‘scary’: Rep. Jordan
According to the avalanche of posts by reporters Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, and writer Michael Shellenberger, to whom new Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk provided access to internal communications, Twitter massively “shadow-banned,” restricted and even flat-out blocked access to conservatives and conservative content.
So, how does the anti-Donald Trump and the anti-conservative Left ignore and even justify this nefarious practice? How do they completely ignore real “election interference” and this blatant attack to manipulate information to alter what we read, how we think and how we vote?
One defender wrote: “So it’s just occurring to so called conservative ‘intellectuals’ that private companies have internal memos discussing business practices. Amazing.”
The same leftists who dismiss the Twitter expose on the grounds that “it’s a private company” see no problem using government to compel a private company to provide health insurance, minimum wage, racial diversity and sensitivity training, paid medical and family leave or to require at least one female on its Board of Directors (a California law that was struck down as unconstitutional promptly followed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom signing another bill that requires at least one member of the “disadvantaged” community to be on the board of a private publicly held company, headquartered in California.)
It’s one thing to suppress conservative content and conservatives, it’s another not to tell them — and it’s another level of evil to deny that they do it. Fox News writes: “CEO Jack Dorsey and top Twitter employees, as well as members of the liberal media, have repeatedly claimed over the years that the social media company did not ‘shadow ban’ users or secretly censor conservative accounts.
“Yet, the second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ released Thursday (Dec. 8) revealed a comprehensive system and internal communications in which the social media site created SECRET (emphasis added) ‘blacklists’ that applied to certain users and tweets, many of which leaned right politically.”
Consider this July 2018 statement by Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour and Twitter lawyer Vijaya Gadde who said “we do not shadow ban”: “You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”
In August 2018, in an interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity, Twitter founder, then-owner and CEO Jack Dorsey was adamant: “We do not shadow ban according to political ideology or viewpoint or content. Period.”
Dorsey, in a 2018 interview with CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter, was equally emphatic: “Are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? And we are not. Period. We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint. We look at behavior.”
In September 2018, Dorsey appeared before the House Energy and Commerce Committee where this exchange took place:
Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Penn.: “I want to read a few quotes about Twitter’s practices and I just want you to tell me if they’re true or not. Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives. Is that true of Twitter?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Are you censoring people?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Twitter’s shadow-banning prominent Republicans … is that true?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Journalist and author Glenn Greenwald tweeted: “The list of prominent conservative US/Western elected officials, journalists, authors, etc. banned by Big Tech is very long.
“No establishment left-liberal voice ever is.
“To deny Big Tech censorship targets conservatives requires pathological lying.
“Name the comparable Dems?”
Given that much of Left/Dems/liberal media/Hollywood/academia/Big Tech think of most conservatives — to quote Biden — as “semi-fascists,” they view suppression of conservatives and conservative content on social media as an act of patriotism.
But on one level, this corroboration that social media suppresses conservative content and therefore stifles the exchange of differing ideas and opinion is good news. This means that the American Left is not quite as blind on many issues as conservatives think. The American Left cannot know what they are prevented from knowing by those who believe they know better.

After President Jimmy Carter left the White House, he established the Carter Center (CC) in 1982. One of the CC’s primary missions is to observe other country’s elections to insure their voting procedures are free, fair, and impartial. Carter and the CC have observed at least 101 elections in 39 countries on four continents. Some of the hallmarks of fair elections include the right and opportunity to vote, freedom to assemble, and the right to elect candidates of the voters’ choice. In other words, the voters must determine the political candidates, not the government. In North Korea, Russia, and Iran the ruling party is the party in power, and they decide who is allowed to oppose them.
The United States can now join the ignoble list of authoritarian regimes where the party in power is the government, and they decide who can oppose them. In the U.S., become a threat to the ruling party or get too popular and you’ll be arrested and thrown in jail. You disagree? What do you call having President Trump arrested for a non-crime? The NYC DA who arrested Trump didn’t even bother to state a crime that Trump committed. Oh, he listed 34 counts but no crime. Even anti-Trump Politico questioned the legal basis for charging him. Trump’s crime is he opposes the Dems and Biden’s authoritarian regime. Hey, Alvin Bragg, 75% of rural Georgia opposes Biden and his regime, you gonna arrest us all?
Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, (a banana republic) blasted the arrest when he tweeted, “Think what you want of President Trump and the reasons he’s being indicted, but imagine if this happened in any other country, where a government arrested the main opposition candidate. The United States’ ability to use “democracy” as foreign policy is gone.” Bukele is 100% correct; he sees what’s happening. Think about when Putin, the ayatollahs, or Castro have their opponent arrested just before an election; and we say, “Thank God that doesn’t happen in America.” Oh yes it does -- Joe Biden and the Democrats just did it. The Dems are despicable. Not one Dem opposes Trump’s arrest. Not one has said anything against it. Remember when you Dems screamed, “Silence is violence.” Well, your silence, in the face of an illegal arrest of President Trump, is deafening.
Trump was arrested for a non-crime only because he’s running against Biden (or whoever is nominated) in 2024. It’s no more complicated than that. Disagree with a Dem and you become the enemy. The Democrats have criminalized opposition, no different than the old Soviet Union, Cuba, or any other dictatorship. They no longer debate the issues. And why should they bother debating when their playbook tells them to accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being a racist, sexist, homophobe, or xenophobe, and then have them arrested? Why shouldn’t the Dems arrest Trump? After all, our Republicans have allowed it to happen as they stand by and do nothing. Where are our elected Repubs at the national, state, or local levels? A new tentacle in the Biden administration's bid to control the news
The Biden administration is still trying to control the news. We saw it already in the government-financed blacklists of conservative outlets and we saw it in the muscling of social media companies.
The Biden administration tapped a liberal journalism academy that once promoted a "blacklist" of conservative outlets to train reporters on how to create "balanced and bias-free" journalism.
The Poynter Institute held the training course with reporters as part of a contract with the U.S. Agency for Global Media, according to a federal spending database. The agency, which paid Poynter $23,500 for the course through March 31, oversees Voice of America and other government news outlets.
The agency could seemingly use the training. Republicans have accused the organization of whitewashing stories about Iran and engaging in partisan advocacy in favor of President Joe Biden.
But Poynter may not be the best choice to teach journalists the art of unbiased and balanced reporting. While the organization bills itself as "nonpartisan," it is funded largely by wealthy Democratic donors George Soros, Pierre Omidyar, Craig Newmark, Bill Gates, and Tim Gill, an LGBT activist whose husband is Biden’s ambassador to Switzerland.
In 2019, Poynter released a "blacklist" of conservative news organizations, including the Washington Free Beacon, deemed "unreliable." Poynter retracted the list, called "UnNews," after widespread criticism.
Why there's some kind of "need" for this, particularly for the Voice of America, which is a huge government agency with plenty of in-house talent, is quite a mystery. The agency has been cutting back on actual original reporting, according to my sources in that agency, often in favor of paid news services over actual in-house reporting. They have plenty of veteran correspondents who know how to report news capable of training their fellow newby journalists. Plus, most of their hires come from journalism schools such as Columbia University's and others, which are well-acquainted to Poynter's nominal values. They don't need to be taught them twice.
Two things stand out here -- that this smacks of some kind of Biden payoff to Poynter, which is well connected with Democratic circles and their house organs such as the Washington Post and many of the top jschools, making it an act of political cronyism.
Perhaps even more likely, it appears to be a bid to slant the news in Democrats' favor. It would be interesting to see what these so-called trainings are like for these supposed journalists who apparently know nothing about journalism that they need Poynter to come in and teach them how to be 'unbiased' as members of the U.S. government's house organ.
The Beacon notes that already they have done as much, leading the charge against the New York Post and its Hunter Biden laptop scoop:
In September 2020, Poynter executive Kelly McBride took part in a tabletop exercise held by the liberal Aspen Institute to plot how journalists, social media executives, and others would handle the hypothetical "hack and dump" of First Son Hunter Biden’s emails. The working group advised participants to treat any release of Biden documents with skepticism and to consult with other news organizations and intelligence officials before publishing stories based on the records.
Poynter appeared to follow the advice after emails from Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop appeared in October 2020, when the organization lauded news organizations for ignoring the story. "Hardly any media outlets, except for conservative ones, are giving the story any credence at all," crowed one Poynter writer. McBride, the working group participant, is chair of Poynter’s Craig Newmark Center for Ethics & Leadership. Newmark, a major Joe Biden donor, contributed $5 million to Poynter and millions more to the Aspen Institute.
Any introspective self-criticism on that one? Not that I can tell from the Poynter site. Even the Columbia journalism school's house magazine, the Columbia Journalism Review, ran a series from old New York Timesman Jeff Gerth on the media malfeasance there. Don't see anything from Poynter.
Meanwhile, the Beacon also notes that they are neck-deep in the fact-checking business, with the Washington Post's Glenn Kessler on their fact-checking board, who's been noted in the news for being wrong, not a good thing in a fact-checker whose purported job is to police other journalists.
Fact-checking is a burgeoning new industry geared to boostering the legacy media and stamping out any upstarts to its monopoly, particularly any conservative upstarts by branding them as bad and selling that information as lacking their imprimatur to corporate advertisers for big dollars. The idea is to get advertising pulled and rankings lowered in internet searches for conservative outlets. Naturally, it has become a source of blacklists for Google to deplatform and YouTube to demonetize, which the Beacon notes, they have been doing at Poynter's urging. This is where the big money is and where the swamp things with their consultant contracts are heading. See the career of one Nina Jankowicz, Biden's Mary Poppins-singing censor wannabe. The Beacon notes that Poynter runs Politifact, a fact-checking outfit which has been wrong and spread misinformation itself on many occasions on hot button issues to Democrats.
Even left-leaning Mediaite called Kessler out on his wrong statements, falsely claiming that New York district attorney Alvin Bragg was not funded by Soros.
Soros, eh? The guy who finances the Poynter Institute where Kessler sits on the board for fact-checking.
That's the same Soros who has a rabidly anti-Republican agenda and in the past has claimed that America needs "de-Nazification." Think that might just influence how the Poynter Institute thinks?
Kessler didn't disclose that little conflict of interest.
He's been wrong or biased on other stuff, too. Mollie Hemingway at the Federalist called him out for deceptively editing tweets in his bid to claim that President Trump, who called out a string of conflicts of interest over the man who's judging him using published news articles, and claiming that news articles were "intimidation" of judges. Didn't see anything from him about the thugs and wannabe assassin who were illegally protesting at the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Victor Davis Hanson recently published an essay titled “Our French Revolution.” In it, he describes the cultural upheaval we are experiencing in America today and how we should view those presently in control of our government who clearly intend to destroy what America once was. In short, we are in the midst of a modern-day Jacobin revolution.
Once again, however, left unsaid is what exactly should patriots be doing between now and the next elections in 2024 to stop this emerging tyranny before our nation reaches a point of no return.
Every day, we hear from many patriots who tell us that we’ll be able to fix it all in 2024 when Trump is re-elected and we take the White House back from the Democrats.
But, to be safe, should we not be asking, is that a realistic strategy or only a form of group denial by some among us who refuse to accurately assess our present reality? The indictment of President Trump this week strongly suggests it very well could be the latter.
Set aside the legitimacy of the charges, whether President Trump will eventually emerge victorious over Alvin Bragg and even whether he would be your first choice to be our next President. The fact is, the ruling elite now in power are aware that even if he is not convicted, under no circumstances can they ever risk his again regaining control of our federal government’s levers of power. Those elitist members of the swamp know that to allow President Trump to return to the White House would likely expose them to being indicted, prosecuted, and most likely convicted by his administration for the crimes they have all committed in the course of their numerous malicious conspiracies to illegally interfere with our elections for the overall intentional purpose of overthrowing the administration of a duly elected President of the United States of America.
In pertinent part, Proverbs 28:1 tells us this truth: “A guilty man flees when no one is chasing…” Translated to the present circumstances: the elitists know that the indictment of President Trump last week not only motivated him to want to hold them accountable for the witch hunts they have plagued him with over the last six years, but has also opened for him the precedent he needed to be able to indict them for their crimes. Moreover, all of President Trump’s persecutors no doubt have a very real fear of being held accountable should he regain power because they know in their hearts such retribution is something they would do if they were him. Thus, whether or not President Trump would actually follow through with such a purge of these corrupt elitist criminals does not matter. What does matter today is that they think he would, and they will therefore do anything they can between now and the next election to stop him. Which, in turn, means that is all that should matter to all patriots right now, because it is that fear that will drive their actions to stop President Trump in his tracks between now and 2024. All that is left is for patriots to anticipate the means by which these tyrants will attempt to accomplish this purpose, which is anyone’s guess at this point.
Will the Democrats again attempt to rig the elections as Biden did in 2020?
Some may say, “We won’t let them do that again this time around.” But that assumes they will even care whether you witness their cheating in 2024, which, in turn, denies the truth that, at this point, they have become completely indifferent as to whether anyone even knows of their cheating any more. This was clearly demonstrated in 2022 with the otherwise inexplicable upset of Kari Lake in Arizona and the equally inexplicable victory of John Fetterman in Pennsylvania.
Remember, these bad actors are also the folks who encouraged unethical federal prosecutors to callously force Jacob Chansley -- who posed no real threat to them whatsoever -- to enter a plea for four years in prison while they knowingly hid from him, his defense attorneys, and the court, the exculpatory videos that established his innocence. In a fair world such prosecutors would be fired, disbarred, and sent to prison to take the place of the man they wrongfully forced to go there.
But so far, they haven’t been, and such is but one more example of justice wrongfully delayed that should be a warning to us all.
If such unethical -- and indeed, criminal -- federal prosecutors, and the tyrants they work for, would be so evil as to do that to a powerless man like Chansley who posed no real threat to them whatsoever, there is little doubt that such evil people will not hesitate to do far worse to prevent a presidential candidate like Trump from gaining victory and therefore, continue to insulate themselves from any accountability for their wrongs.
All this to say that our hope that the 2024 elections will enable us to restore America’s greatness is very likely a mere mirage… and, it is to our peril -- as well as President Trump’s -- if we continue to deny it and do nothing now to challenge the tyranny before us.
Since Biden’s inauguration, the University of Pennsylvania hasdisclosed at least $14 million in donations from China or Hong Kong, the Free Beacon reported last week. The names of these donors have yet to be disclosed by the Department of Education, breaking the precedent of prior administrations which published foreign donor names in a public database.
The World Economic Forum (WEF), the Deep State, the Radical (Marxist) Left, self-interested and corrupt politicians, the ruling elite, the leftist media complex, big tech, and multinational corporations manipulate Biden. In so doing, “These actors have robbed the public treasury of billions of dollars in broad daylight. These actors seek and are driven by retaining and gaining more power and money.”
A conspiracy with mutual interests through deception and disinformation is destabilizing our country in a move toward a totalitarian state. Under the guise of Democratic socialism. Democratic socialism is a rebranding of the New World Order or Globalism, Marxism, Fascism, Nazism, and Communism. As VDH calls it, “Our French Revolution."
The conspiracy sought to delegitimize, impede, sabotage, and unseat a duly elected President by using faux impeachments, abuse of power by public officials, bribery, thefts by fraud, money laundering, perjury and the obstruction of justice, violations of civil rights, the attack on and subversion of the rule of law and equal justice, the violation of the inalienable rights of the people and the defilement of the US Constitution in an ongoing criminal enterprise as defined in Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
Donald Trump in 2016 was a direct threat to the conspiracy. Trump, as an outsider, was not constrained by the political establishment in DC. The voters understood that our elected were self-dealing, lining their pockets with public funds, and acting counter to the best interests of our country. The voters knew; “Trump was no angel, unpresidential, and sometimes crude. The people knew what they were getting when they voted for Trump.”
Hillary Clinton had to win the 2016 election, or the dike holding back the truth would burst. If the truth were laid bare, it would expose the Obama Administration, Hillary Clinton, the Senate and House, and many executive departments for their complicity in abuses of power and collaboration with our adversaries. Much to their dismay, Donald Trump won the election.
US Attorney William Barr accused the “liberal ‘resistance’ of trying to ‘sabotage’ Trump.” A soft coup with the false Russian collusion narrative and other illegal actions to cover for its collective crimes before and after the 2016 election continued through the 2020 election and is now in the campaign cycle before the 2024 election. So is evidenced by the recent indictment of Trump for a crime that doesn't exist – "Show me the man, and I'll show you the crime.” Alan Dershowitz says this conspiracy will do anything to Get Trump.
Dr. Anthony Fauci was the last straw. Everyone was personally affected by the COVID fraud under the cloak of a public health crisis. The perpetrators intentionally obscured the origin of COVID-19. The totalitarian actions of mandatory vaccination, needless lockdowns, and denial of effective treatment therapies that killed millions worldwide had more to do with concealing the profits made and reinforcing the control of the people setting the stage for election fraud in 2020. The truth was actively suppressed and censored at the behest of government agents. Many people now see the lying by politicians and experts of the administrative state about COVID.
During my 35-year law enforcement career, including as a police detective, I investigated many elaborate criminal conspiracies, including public conflict of interest cases, embezzlements, financial crimes, and frauds, as well as illicit nonprofits engaging in money laundering to divert funds. I wrote and served hundreds, if not thousands, of criminal search warrants. Most of these cases were successfully prosecuted.
There sometimes comes a point when common sense dictates that seemingly unrelated incidents are connected and were intentional acts. With a jaundiced eye, I watched this COVID kabuki theater unfold. An elaborate illusion to cover for criminality is now exposed for all to see.
In my professional opinion, there is substantial probable cause (PC) to believe that agents of our government, including President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, aided or abetted by others engaged in an ongoing criminal conspiracy with a common purpose, committed serious felonies and concealed these crimes over many years.
This PC warrants an investigation of the perpetrators. There must be accountability to restore the people’s faith in our elected politicians and the unelected administrative state government, lest we descend into a dictatorial Banana Republic.

Like the Biden family, the Clinton family are criminal enterprises (RICO). Both interfered with presidential elections with the aid of the FBI, the CIA, and other administrative entities - lowballing the Clinton espionage investigation (bathroom server), the Benghazi raid (gun running weapons from Libya to Syria), spying on then-candidate Trump and Russiagate before the 2016 election and after, the deep-sixing Hunter Biden’s laptop from Hell before the 2020 election, and using COVID (the Chinese bioweapon released either accidentally or intentionally - an act of war) as an excuse to interfere with the 2020 election by election fraud.
Biden abdicated his constitutional duty to defend the border. The Chinese exploited this opportunity to flood the country with Fentanyl - supplying the Mexican cartels with the precursors to manufacture and distribute the Fentanyl. The Fentanyl is killing about one hundred thousand yearly to wreak havoc and chaos in our communities. The disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan directly benefited the Chinese. In his pursuit of green energy, Biden also immensely rewards the Chinese and others in this scam (here), which is a massive redistribution of wealth (here).
The DOJ, the FBI, and the CIA have gone full Stasi. They are attacking and intimidating the political enemies of the radical Left without regard for the rule of law. The arrests and SWAT raids on the houses of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Paul Manaford, Roger Stone, James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, Mark Houck, and former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence were the most egregious examples. They were selectively prosecuting the alleged January 6th “insurrectionists” to the exclusion of the violent acts of BLM and Antifa (The insurrection that wasn’t). They targeted, at the direction of the US Attorney General, parents attending school board meetings to complain about CRT and other progressive curricula as domestic terrorists.
BLM and Antifa are domestic terrorist organizations disguised as legitimate public interest groups. Both have crossed the threshold of peaceful assemblies, committing serious felonies to create chaos akin to the Brown Shirts of the Third Reich.
NGOs funded by George Soros and others dropped millions of dollars into local district attorney races to elect far-left prosecutors (as many as 70). Under the veil of social justice reform, these prosecutors implemented policies including no cash bail, which released violent serial offenders without regard for public safety. The released, ruthless, violent criminals commit new murders, rape, robberies, and mayhem before trial. Again, to wreak havoc and chaos within our communities, who then, in fear for their safety, will willingly relinquish their civil rights in exchange for totalitarian controls.
Russiagate was a domestic disinformation operation run by the CIA and the FBI. They were illegally running an illegal domestic spy operation on Trump under the guise of a counter-intel operation. The FBI lied in securing FISA warrants to spy on President-elect Trump using political opposition research paid for and supplied by the Clinton campaign. I could assure you if I lied in a warrant affidavit, my superiors would have thrown me out the door.

Authoritarian governments across the world are looking to censor the Internet in order to “control people”, a senior official from ICANN has said.
David Huberman, a senior official within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has accused authoritarian governments across the globe of looking to fracture the Internet in the hopes of controlling people.
Legally registered as an NGO, ICANN is responsible for making the international system of IP addresses function correctly, with the organisation describing itself as being “dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable”.
Those within the organisation are now claiming that authoritarian governments are starting to get in the way of this goal, with Huberman telling the Cloudfest industry meeting in Germany that some states now aim to cut up the Internet in order to better control their populations.
“The potential fragmentation of the Internet is a worrying topic,” Der Spiegelreports the expert as saying, before discussing the impact that such governments could have on the Internet.
“They are authoritarian governments that want to control their people,” he said.
Although Huberman did not name any individual nation-states in particular as being involved in this effort to undermine the net, the report published by Der Spiegel goes on to name China, Iran, and Russia as being the three countries tech experts are primarily focused on.
However, many governments in the West are also now jumping on the bandwagon of splitting off and censoring the Internet, with authorities in the United Kingdom and European Union in particular now regularly taking potshots at the free transmission of information online.
Authorities in Brussels have so far been the most active in forcing Internet censorship on the people, blocking its citizens from accessing a number of Russian news outlets online in March last year.
Such material can now only be accessed by those residing within the bloc through use of a virtual private network (VPN), similar to how those living within Communist China must use such services to access many Western websites and media outlets.
Politicians in the United Kingdom appear to be just as keen on implementing widespread Internet censorship, with the country’s planned Online Safety Bill set to hand regulators widespread powers to force social media firms to censor content deemed to problematic.
As of the time of writing, such targets of censorship will range from already highly illegal content such as child pornography to perfectly legal material that simply upsets the progressive sensibilities of those ruling Britain.
The planned censorship regime has been widely panned by various tech firms as being set to end Internet privacy in the UK, with the bill set to render end-to-end encryption effectively illegal by mandating chat apps spy on their userbase using AI to make sure they are not doing anything illegal.
Multiple apps, including Signal and WhatsApp, have now threatened that they will withdraw their services entirely from the country should the bill become law, saying that the measures would completely compromise security and privacy on their platforms.
I never thought I’d be thanking an ex-Democrat former congresswoman and presidential candidate for telling the truth, exposing the evil Democrat agenda and saving the GOP. But former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard just broke the mold.

She reported Democrats are anti-white — in other words, she admitted Democrats are racists who hate white people.

She reported Democrats hate and demonize the police and openly protect and support criminals.
She said Democrats are a cabal of warmongers intent on starting World War III and bringing us purposely to the brink of nuclear war.

And then she added in a media interview that Democrats are ushering in the “normalization of pedophilia.”
All true. But… WOW. My jaw is on the floor. No former high-level Democrat official has ever said these words in history.
I’ve reported and warned about every one of these threats to our country for many years. So, what’s the significance of Gabbard saying these same things?
No. 1: She is the first Democrat congresswoman and former Democrat presidential candidate to ever admit any of this. That’s credibility.
No. 2: She is giving an “insider” account of what is happening in the Democrat Party at the highest levels. She is a witness. She proves what I’ve always warned: These are not mistakes, ignorance or incompetence. This is all a purposeful, planned, coordinated, radical, extreme, communist, globalist, fascist attack on America.
No. 3: Her words should embolden moderate and RINO Republicans to tell the truth about how bad this attack on America really is — 99% of Republican candidates have never gone this far, never used words like this. They are cowards, scared of their own shadows. They’re worried about what the media would say about them. Hopefully Gabbard’s words will embolden (or shame) them to start telling the raw truth about what what’s really happening to America. Gabbard gives them cover.
No. 4: Gabbard’s brave words and action could inspire moderate, non-insane Democrats like Sens. Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona to leave the Democrat Party to become either Republicans or independents.
My hope is that Tulsi Gabbard is the canary in the coal mine. She is the model. She has started a trend. She has started a tsunami away from the radical, insane, extreme, America-hating Democrat Party.
Gabbard then backed up her words by immediately endorsing two MAGA, America-First Republican candidates: Joe Kent for Congress in Washington and GOP Senate candidate Dan Bolduc in New Hampshire. I don’t know if Gabbard is officially joining the GOP, but it’s a darn good start!

According to the avalanche of posts by reporters Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, and writer Michael Shellenberger, to whom new Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk provided access to internal communications, Twitter massively “shadow-banned,” restricted and even flat-out blocked access to conservatives and conservative content.
So, how does the anti-Donald Trump and the anti-conservative Left ignore and even justify this nefarious practice? How do they completely ignore real “election interference” and this blatant attack to manipulate information to alter what we read, how we think and how we vote?
One defender wrote: “So it’s just occurring to so called conservative ‘intellectuals’ that private companies have internal memos discussing business practices. Amazing.”
The same leftists who dismiss the Twitter expose on the grounds that “it’s a private company” see no problem using government to compel a private company to provide health insurance, minimum wage, racial diversity and sensitivity training, paid medical and family leave or to require at least one female on its Board of Directors (a California law that was struck down as unconstitutional promptly followed by California Gov. Gavin Newsom signing another bill that requires at least one member of the “disadvantaged” community to be on the board of a private publicly held company, headquartered in California.)
It’s one thing to suppress conservative content and conservatives, it’s another not to tell them — and it’s another level of evil to deny that they do it. Fox News writes: “CEO Jack Dorsey and top Twitter employees, as well as members of the liberal media, have repeatedly claimed over the years that the social media company did not ‘shadow ban’ users or secretly censor conservative accounts.
“Yet, the second installment of the ‘Twitter Files’ released Thursday (Dec. 8) revealed a comprehensive system and internal communications in which the social media site created SECRET (emphasis added) ‘blacklists’ that applied to certain users and tweets, many of which leaned right politically.”
Consider this July 2018 statement by Twitter product lead Kayvon Beykpour and Twitter lawyer Vijaya Gadde who said “we do not shadow ban”: “You are always able to see the tweets from accounts you follow (although you may have to do more work to find them, like go directly to their profile). And we certainly don’t shadow ban based on political viewpoints or ideology.”
In August 2018, in an interview with Fox’s Sean Hannity, Twitter founder, then-owner and CEO Jack Dorsey was adamant: “We do not shadow ban according to political ideology or viewpoint or content. Period.”
Dorsey, in a 2018 interview with CNN’s media critic Brian Stelter, was equally emphatic: “Are we doing something according to political ideology or viewpoints? And we are not. Period. We do not look at content with regards to political viewpoint. We look at behavior.”
In September 2018, Dorsey appeared before the House Energy and Commerce Committee where this exchange took place:
Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Penn.: “I want to read a few quotes about Twitter’s practices and I just want you to tell me if they’re true or not. Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives. Is that true of Twitter?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Are you censoring people?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Doyle: “Twitter’s shadow-banning prominent Republicans … is that true?”
Dorsey: “No.”
Journalist and author Glenn Greenwald tweeted: “The list of prominent conservative US/Western elected officials, journalists, authors, etc. banned by Big Tech is very long.
“No establishment left-liberal voice ever is.
“To deny Big Tech censorship targets conservatives requires pathological lying.
“Name the comparable Dems?”
Given that much of Left/Dems/liberal media/Hollywood/academia/Big Tech think of most conservatives — to quote Biden — as “semi-fascists,” they view suppression of conservatives and conservative content on social media as an act of patriotism.
But on one level, this corroboration that social media suppresses conservative content and therefore stifles the exchange of differing ideas and opinion is good news. This means that the American Left is not quite as blind on many issues as conservatives think. The American Left cannot know what they are prevented from knowing by those who believe they know better.
