Schiff doesn't bother to live in California, either
Is Maryland looking forward to having three senators? Sure looks like it, now that it comes to light that California's Senate frontrunner, Rep. Adam Schiff, actually lives in Maryland and has done so without anyone noticing for the past two decades.
According to the Daily Caller:
Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff has reportedly been living in Maryland for two decades, documents that surfaced Wednesday showed.
Mortgage records revealed Schiff claimed his 3,420 square foot property in Maryland as his primary residence, according to CNN. The congressman also reportedly claimed his 650 square foot condo in Burbank, California, as his primary residence to reduce his $7,000 tax bill.
Schiff did not take an exemption on his Maryland home, the outlet reported. However, he reportedly signed documents stating both his Maryland and California properties were primary residences.
A spokesperson for Schiff, Marisol Samayoa, claims the congressman’s primary residence is in California.
There's plenty of tax shenanigans throughout the piece describing the pretzel act Schiff has conducted to claim, legally or not, the lowest tax bill. For a guy who loves imposing high, higher, highest taxes on his home state, he sure seems interested in getting himself the low rates. Taxpayers who don't or can't make his strange claims, see, are suckers.
But the bigger issue, it seems is that he doesn't really live in the state he purports to represent. The condo, or better yet, apartment, should be in the D.C. suburbs so he can get to his day job. The mansion should be back home in Burbank. But that's not how he's worked it. His home is in the Washington swamp and that's where his castle is. The rest is just window dressing. One wonders who really lives in that Burbank condo since Schiff doesn't.
What's disgusting here is that this shows that residency requirements for long-incumbent members of Congress and other political leaders are an absolute joke. Nobody enforces them, unless the forces that be want to get rid of someone for other reasons.
I recall this 2010 case in Schiff's district with local powerbroker Richard Alarcon here, via Wikipedia:
In August 2010, Alarcon was indicted on perjury and voter fraud charges for not living in his district and lying in campaign disclosure documents about his official residence.[7] Six members of his staff testified before a grand jury.[8] Alarcon raised at least $9,000 from donors to cover legal fees.[9]
The charges were dismissed by Judge Kathleen Kennedy in May 2012, but District Attorney Steve Cooley refiled them. Alarcon was charged with 18 counts involving false declaration of candidacy, fraudulent voting, and perjury.[10] On July 23, 2014, Alarcon was convicted of three counts of voter fraud and one count of perjury.[11] After serving his full sentence through 51 days of house arrest, his conviction was overturned by an appeals court.[12] Charges were again refiled.[13]
In 2019, prosecutors said they would not retry their perjury and voter fraud case against Alarcon and his wife, bringing an end to a nine-year legal battle.[14]

The same is happening in Washington, likely on a grander scale. Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona reportedly lives in Texas. The current California senator who replaced the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein by gubernatorial appointment, Laphonza Butler, is another resident of Maryland. She, uh, changed her voting registration to California, so that all would be hunky dory as she took up the Senate seat and it would be interesting to see her change it back when she leaves office, presumably for Schiff's entry to the seat. Rep. Sara Jacobs, my own representative in San Diego, ran for office in at least one other district before she got hold of mine, as did her reported live-in boyfriend, Palestinian Munich-massacre terrorist grandson Ammar Campa-Najjar, who ran for Rep. Duncan Hunter's seat out in the conservative San Diego back boonies and then ran again for mayor of Chula Vista down by the Mexican border, neither race of which impressed the locals because he didn't have much in the way of roots in either district. There likely are others, because the only thing these pols care about is the promoting the interests of the Washington swamp. They don't live in their districts and they sure don't care about them.
Now it looks like Maryland will get a third Senator, and one wonders why Californians are fleeing that state. When there is no political representation, even for Democrats, based on the basic requirement of residence in the district represented, what do we have? An out-of-touch swamp that pays no attention to the interests of the voters who elect them.
Schiff ought to be disqualified from the Senate race and his House seat for his failure to live here. He's a representative in name only and there are laws on the books against this. But that's not how things are done these days, given the power of the swamp. Maybe it's time for that to change.

Maybe the IRS should spend their time administering the tax code instead of targeting people they don't like and protecting criminals whose policies they like.
These days, it is no different than when the IRS targeted Tea Party members for the sole reason that they did not like President Obama's big government and high-tax policies.
Biden compared Tea Party members to domestic terrorists back then, just like he compares MAGA Republicans to domestic terrorists today.
It is Democrats who continually gin up racial hate and division while they pretend they want unity and most of the media cheers.
Why should we hire 87,000 more IRS agents when the ones we have are more interested in protecting themselves instead of doing their job?

IRS Axes 'Entire Investigative Team' Probing Hunter Biden Taxes: Report
According to an exclusive report late Monday night from The New York Post, the IRS "removed the 'entire investigative team' from its long-running tax fraud probe of first son Hunter Biden in alleged retaliation against the whistleblower who alleged a coverup."
Biden's latest financial disclosures are out and he showed no gifts. What about the gifts when Hunter uses kickbacks to pay Daddy's bills? I bet those gifts have never been shown on any gift tax return. I bet IRS agents don't care.
What about all the times Joe and his family spend vacations at a billionaire's house for free? Where are the gift tax returns?
The leftist media has been spending lots of time trying to destroy Clarence Thomas for free vacations, even though that is not a violation, but they actively support Biden no matter how corrupt he is and how many ethical violations he has.
It is so hard to spot the bias:
Royalties from a pair of books he published years earlier: $2,933. Interest from one bank account: $15,000 or less. Gifts to declare: none
Meanwhile, Special Counsel John Durham's report shows how corrupt and politicized the Justice Department has become. They have interfered in all elections since at least 2016 with endless witch hunts. The corruption by the Obama and Biden Justice Department dwarfs Watergate.
There have been endless witch hunts seeking to destroy Trump and associates yet the corrupt Justice officials remain free.
It is a joke when the Justice Department says the reforms they have put in place will stop this. They are targeting Catholics, parents, pro-life people, and trespassers with no regard for equal justice or the truth.
The corruption in 2020 was as bad as 2016 when they colluded with the media to bury the truth about the Biden family corruption.
And the media cheers and continues to intentionally lie to the public that the 2020 election was clean.
If the media and other Democrats dispose of Trump, they will go after Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis or whoever else is the Republican candidate. They also trashed Reagan, Bush, McCain, and Romney. The only Republicans they pretend to support are Republicans when they are attacking other Republicans.
Is the media going to call out Rep. Adam Schiff for all his intentional lies? Nope, they will continue to have him lie about Comey's and Jordan's investigations into the massive corruption of Joe Biden. The truth hasn't mattered for a long time to the sycophant media. They only care about power.
The swamp must be drained before the U.S. collapses. The younger generation is being indoctrinated with garbage, like the lies about climate change and white privilege.
There is nothing progressive about the media and other Democrats that call themselves progressive. They are intentionally moving the country backwards. They should be referred to as depressives, oppressives, destructives, or regressives.

Adam Schiff, a serial liar, warns about a Jim Jordan speakership

Serial liar Adam Schiff, who ran scam investigations for years, is warning about Jim Jordan, and embarrassingly, the situation compelled Schiff to advertise his profound ignorance regarding basic civics. Read below, from RedState:
‘Today, Republicans may make Jim Jordan the Speaker,’ Schiff ranted.
‘Jordan would preside over the counting of electoral votes in the next election. After he was deeply involved in trying to overturn the last one. Just when you think they can’t be more irresponsible, they prove you wrong.’
Schiff doesn’t even know that the President of the Senate, which is the sitting vice-president, presides over the electoral vote count, not the Speaker of the House.
But Schiff wasn’t the only clown to mouth off.
Rep. Pete Aguilar, a Democrat from California, nominated election-denier Hakeem Jeffries for Speaker, while lecturing about “election denier” Jordan. From The Hill:
‘A vote today to make the architect of a nationwide abortion ban, a vocal election denier and an insurrection insider to the Speaker of this house would be a terrible message to the country and our allies,’ Aguilar said, speaking of Jordan.

Then Adam Kinzinger, the fake Republican who rose to a level of some relevance for sitting on the sham J6 committee and crying over the unauthorized tour of the Capitol, said he was “proud” of the Republican holdouts. Democrats love useful idiot RINOs like Kinzinger, who can be disposed of once no longer useful… they gerrymandered him out in Illinois.
And then there is dictator Pelosi, who failed to secure the Capitol, despite warnings, lecturing about Jordan. She claimed it would be bad for our conscience and children to vote for Jordan; from The Gazette:
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had harsh words for Speaker Designate Jim Jordan (R-OH) and those who voted to give him the gavel, saying, ‘They're going to have to answer to their conscience, to their children, to their own legacy for doing something so disreputable.’
“Disreputable”? This is from a person who supports an administration that advocated for continued school closures, supported all that money to Iran, supports open borders which reward cartels, supports pro-crime leftist DAs, is against the Born Alive act, opposes school choice, believes that women and others who decline vaccines should be fired over private medical decisions, supports men exposing themselves in women’s locker rooms, supports making future generations pay off other people’s student loans, and is greatly harming the poor (especially children) with her support of radical energy policies.
Republicans’ consciences will be just fine if they vote for Jordan, who believes in Trump's policies to give the power, money, and freedom back to the people instead of the powerful government which Pelosi and Democrats support.
And then there are all the Democrat campaign workers, posing as journalists, repeating the talking points that Jordan is “far right” without defining the term.
Representative Omar and other Democrats have trouble referring to murdering terrorists as terrorists, but have no trouble labeling Jordan one. From another RedState item:
Omar, as we’ve also noted, has been another who has deliberately refrained from calling Hamas out for what they are. But when it came to Jordan, she didn’t hesitate to trot out the ‘terrorist’ accusation against him….
Who exactly would the media and other Democrats support as Speaker? McCarthy was pretty “bipartisan” (to put it nicely) and a friend to the Democrats, yet they voted in lockstep with eight Republicans to eject him from the position.
It is a shame that so many supposed conservatives or Republicans cave to the false belief that they will finally be accepted by the media and other Democrats if they just toe the line for the Establishment.
