When Shoplifters Kill
Was it necessary for 27-year-old security guard Eric Harrison to die?
The book that has yet to be written, ‘Philadelphia Commedia,’ will not have Virgil but Walt Whitman as the reader’s guide as we travel through the city of William Penn.
Unlike Dante Alighieri’s ‘Divine Comedy,’ the Paradiso part of ‘Philadelphia Commedia’ will be put on hold until the city changes its political direction from Blue to Red, which nobody expects to happen anytime soon.
The story begins in Macy’s Department store on December 7, 2023 just as a stabbing is taking place.
We see a man named Tyron Tunnell, a distraught looking figure who has a history of retail theft and drug-related cases in the Philadelphia area.
Tunnell has entered Macy’s with the intention of shoplifting—no big surprise as Center City Macy’s, since the beginning of 2023, has experienced over 250 reports of retail theft, something that Acting Police Commissioner John M. Stanford Jr. says is, “An ongoing problem, not just for large chain stores but in terms of businesses throughout the city.”
In Philadelphia during Christmastime, going to Macy’s is a venerable tradition. Here we have a department store larger than a cathedral that features daily organ recitals, a light show with 100,000 LED lights and a massive Christmas tree you’re not likely to see anywhere else except perhaps in Rockefeller Center.
Tunnell, who has an active warrant out for his arrest in Delaware County, shoplifts a few hats and then proceeds to leave the store when he is stopped by a security guard, 27-year-old Eric Harrison, who makes him return the hats while permitting him to go free, a gesture that’s become all too familiar in big blue cities all across America:
Let the shoplifters go!
Yet Tunnell, not satisfied with his freedom, returns to the store intent on punishing the security guard because he thinks the guard showed him attitude when he made him put the hats back.
He lunges at Harrison and stabs him in the neck, then stabs another security guard who comes to Harrison’s aid. A murder under 100,000 LED lights and as Christmas music plays in the store.
Harrison is taken to the hospital where he dies; the other guard, though severely injured, manages to survive.
The crime occurred not far from where hundreds gather for the regular light shows.
Macy’s closes shop for two days; there’s also the issue of spilled blood to consider.
The killing makes the national 6:30pm news.
The Macy’s attack had the city in an uproar: DA Larry Krasner was quick to tell the press that his office will charge at higher level if someone is a prolific shoplifter offender with a pattern.
So here we have Krasner sounding like former Mayor Frank L. Rizzo. This fact indicates that even Left progressives have had enough of the lawlessness that has taken over the city.
“If it is one dollar or 50 cents, we prosecute that,” Krasner said. “We prosecute consistent with the statute, we prosecute summary offenses, at times misdemeanor offenses, at times felony offenses. Anyone who tells you we’re not prosecuting thefts of less than 55 dollars is misinformed.”
Krasner might as well be saying, “Philadelphia is not San Francisco!”
Krasner goes the extra mile when he says that his office is requesting additional funding from City Council for a task force to focus on repeat retail thieves and those who help them.
SEPTA’s 30,000 security cameras enabled police to follow Tunnell in real-time as he fled the store and discarded the switch-blade knife he used to kill Harrison. He was apprehended at the Somerset station on the Market-Frankford line.
The sad fact is that SEPTA its own world of crime.
Consider these facts:
A November 16, 2023, 6 ABC news headline read, “Man dragged down stairs, assaulted at Center City Septa Station.” The 51-year old victim was standing on the platform at 15th Street (City Hall Station) when he was attacked.
Then the coup de grace: The murder of SEPTA bus driver, Bernard Gribbin, in October 2023 when a female passenger shot him six times in the torso and throat. The 21-year-old assailant pulled a gun on Gribbin as she left the bus, killing him for no apparent reason.
Crime in Philadelphia has moved from the streets onto subway platforms.
In May 2023, Krasner said that while the city homicide rate was down from last year, he felt it necessary to issue warnings about violence on mass transit.
He was referring to groups of teen males in ski masks walking from train car to train car looking for victims.
The El ride from 13th and Market where Macy’s is located to the Somerset station takes about 20 minutes or so.
Here are some of the things a regular passenger might see while traveling this distance:
Sleeping homeless; people smoking weed and cigarettes; food and drink smashed on seats and on the floor; unruly passengers acting out (some in ski masks, despite a recent City Council ban); people holding the doors open at station stops, an action that prevents the train from moving while the train engineer makes repeated pleas to, “Please clear the doors.”
All this is happening while SEPTA’s CEO, Leslie Richards, recently got a $75,000 raise after signing a new four year contract (she makes $425,000 a year) to continue on as SEPTA’s head.
Yet what is Richards doing about improving conditions on the EL, or to convince Philadelphians that the El is safe to ride?
Especially if El passengers have to stand for the duration of their trip because the homeless have taken up all the seats, sometimes two or three seats at a time with their strollers, carts, and oversized moonscape knapsacks?
What she can do, and did, is to promote a $40 million SEPTA rebranding project that will change logos and the colors used in signage and advertising. She can also support the 2024 plan to rename bus and trolley routes to give them more “catchy” buzz names like ‘B1’ and ‘G,’ while the Broad Street subway will be renamed ‘the B,’ and the Market Frankford El, ‘the L.’
She can also cheer the plan to change font changes on SEPTA signs (never mind the stinking homeless person lying in stale urine a few feet below that sign).
After all, the design of a sign, like a tattoo, is everything. A cool look can work miracles.
Yet woke-inspired font changes, new colors and minimalist language that call to mind rock groups like the B52’s, won’t change the fact that tourists in Philadelphia never take the Market-Frankford El or the Broad Street subway.
Only a fool would put new wallpaper on a crumbling house or rehab a kitchen if the roof was falling in, or purchase dental implants or veneers if you had a serious case of gum disease.
The truth is that deteriorating conditions on “the L” have made it unreliable and often dangerous.
Stations are filthy and continue to be places where drug addicts can be seen injecting themselves. The trains themselves are run down and grimy. Marijuana smoking in stations and on trains continues to be a problem. Station announcements about delays and cancellations occur on a daily basis. Train announcements cannot even be coordinated: they often announce incorrect station stops.
It also doesn’t help that passengers are subjected to outdated recordings that masks are required, long after this policy was dropped.
What this shows is an unwillingness to get to the heart of the problem, including fixing the chronic fare dodging one sees at transit station.
Comparable, as some might say, to the Krasner-inspired policy of allowing shoplifters like Tyrone Tunnell to go free.
Tragically, if Tunnell been arrested and processed immediately for stealing those hates, Eric Harrison might still be alive.

In Chicago, like all of Illinois, there is a red flag law, a 72-hour waiting period on gun purchases, a Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) card requirement for legal gun ownership, and a ban on “assault weapons” and “high capacity” magazines.
Moreover, Cook County, where Chicago is located, has an additional ban on “assault weapons.”

High School Basketball Player, Older Brother Beat Up Coach After Getting Benched
A Conroe, Texas, teen and his brother have been arrested and charged with beating up a high school basketball coach after the coach benched the player for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Jevin Allen, 17, and his older brother Jarrick Allen, 22, are accused of attacking the coach on Dec. 5 in a beating that left the man with injuries to his head, neck, face, and arms, the New York Post reported.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office said the Willis High School coach said he benched Jevin “due to his behavior toward an opposing team player.” The benching reportedly “infuriated” the teen and his family.
Officials say that Jevin and his family confronted the coach over the benching, and things escalated until Jevin allegedly punched the coach in the face.
The older brother reportedly jumped into the fight and began punching the coach.
The brothers reportedly ran off after the attack, but police say that after reviewing surveillance video of the incident spurring them to arrest the pair. They were arrested, charged with assaulting a public servant, and were released from the Montgomery County Jail after paying $23,000 bond each.
Jevin is reportedly no longer enrolled at Willis High.
“The investigation is ongoing, but we did determine that the student’s address was no longer valid, so he has been withdrawn from the district. We are deeply saddened by this incident and will not tolerate this behavior from students,” the police said in a statement.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Accused of Gang-Raping 17-Year-Old High School Girl in Explosive New Lawsuit
Rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing yet another sexual assault lawsuit, this time from a plaintiff who alleges in disturbing and lurid detail that she was gang-raped by Combs and two other men in 2003 when she was just 17 years old.
In her complaint filed Wednesday in a New York City court, the anonymous plaintiff alleges the men took turns raping her in a bathroom at Daddy’s House Recording Studio in New York when she was in high school and Combs was 34.
The filing also named Harve Pierre, former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, and a third unnamed attacker.
The explosive lawsuit represents the fourth one filed against Sean Combs in recent weeks. Combs settled the first suit just one day after it was filed. The suit was filed by R&B singer Cassie, who alleged rape, abuse, and sex trafficking.
Another suit, whose plaintiff remains anonymous, claims Diddy and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall took turns raping her and one of her friends, either in 1990 or 1991.
On Wednesday, Combs denied the latest accusations in a strongly worded statement sent to multiple news outlets.
“Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday,” he said.
“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
The prior three complaints against Combs took advantage of New York state’s #MeToo law known as the Adult Survivors Act, which lifted the statute of limitations on sexual misconduct accusations — with no time limit on when the alleged actions took place.
But the new complaint is using a separate city law to get to Combs, according to a Rolling Stone report.
The plaintiff is taking advantage of the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Act, which offers a two-year “lookback” window for civil claims that previously fell outside the statute of limitations. The measure, which expires March 2025, applies to claims of “gender-motivated violence” that took place in the city’s five boroughs.
The new suit against Combs claims the then-34-year-old rapper convinced the 17-year-old “Jane Doe” to fly his private jet from Detroit to New York, where she was subsequently taken to his recording studio. There, the suit alleges, she was “plied” with drugs and alcohol “to the point that she could not possibly have consented to having sex with anyone.”
“While at the studio, Ms. Doe was gang raped by Mr. Combs, the Third Assailant and Mr. Pierre, in that order.”
As Breitbart News reported, Combs has stepped down as as chairman of his Revolt TV network in the wake of the multiple sexual assault lawsuits.

Widower of Elderly New Orleans Woman Brutally Killed in Carjacking Sues Teens’ Parents
The widower of an elderly New Orleans woman who was tragically killed in a vicious carjacking in 2022 is now suing the parents of the teens who committed the crime.
Linda Frickey, 73, died in March 2022 after a group of four teenagers dragged her behind her own vehicle as they stole it, severing her arm.
An 18-year-old man was recently convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the incident, and three girls between the ages of 15 and 17 pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The girls each received a 20-year prison sentence, while the man is scheduled to be sentenced on January 12. His conviction could get him a life sentence.
Rick Frickey, Linda’s husband, is now seeking $50,000 in damages for his wife’s unthinkable death due to loss of income and emotional distress, NOLA.com reported.
The lawsuit was initially filed on March 21 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court but was put on hold pending the conclusion of the criminal cases against the teens, attorney Donald Hodge Jr. said.
Rick Frickey’s sister, Kathy Richard, told the local outlet that her grieving brother is targeting the youths’ parents with the lawsuit to “bring awareness to the public that if your children commit crimes, you are liable.”
With the final convictions of John Honore, Briniyah Baker, Lenyra Theophile, and Mar’Qel Curtis finally being handed down, Frickey is ready to sue.
Linda Frickey’s death was agonizing, as she was dragged for more than 200 yards during the violent carjacking, with a witness testifying that the victim was “skinned alive” and “tortured,” according to Fox 8.
Prosecutors showed harrowing video evidence to the jury during Honore’s trial, which showed Frickey, tethered by a seatbelt, pleading for her life to no avail.
“The defendant, after pepper spraying her, grabs her, pulls her out of her car, puts heel to her face, stomps her on the head, gets on top, punches her, gets into the driver seat and you will see decisions made that ended Frickey’s life,” prosecutors said during the trial. “She was screaming and pleading for him to stop. [The defendant] dragged her over 700 feet – or two football fields.”
According to Hodge, the lawsuit will be “just part of the closure process.”
“I truly believe [the conviction] Monday was needed and brought a sense of closure, much like I think the civil lawsuit is and will,” the attorney told NOLA.com.

CRIME IN AMERICA'S BIG CITIES IS BLACK!
NYC Bodega Owners Arm Themselves amid Surging Crime
Bodega owners in New York City are arming themselves for self-defense and store defense as crime continues to surge in the City.
The New York Post pointed to the National Supermarket Association, which indicated upwards of 25 percent of NYC bodega owners are armed as compared with roughly ten percent prior to coronavirus shutdowns.
Moreover, “the United Bodegas of America and the Bodega and Small Business Group said they’ve helped at least 230 store owners apply for their gun licenses, connecting them with concealed-carry classes required by the state to obtain a permit.”
On January 22, 2023, FOX 5 reported that bodega owners in the Bronx observed that crime was so bad they were “chaining up merchandise” to prevent it from being stolen.
The United Bodega Association’s Fernando Mateo explained that part of the problem is that criminals are confident they will not get punished.
He said, “NYPD is doing their job, they come when you call them and make arrests, but that person will usually get a desk appearance and nothing will happen because District Attorneys and judges are not willing to prosecute.”
In mid-2022 Mateo called on bodega owners to legally arm themselves.
FOX News quoted Mateo saying, “We want to make sure every bodega owner in New York City that is law-abiding, that feels the necessity to carry a licensed gun, to go and apply for it. Why? Because you need to be able to defend yourself.”
He noted that an armed bodega owner can protect himself in the moment prior to police reaching the scene: “When there’s a gun to your head, it’s very difficult to call 911 but if you survive that then call 911. If you are being assaulted or beaten up, there’s really no time to call 911, but after that happens, call 911.”

Add pee to the poop destroying American cities, with Baltimore as Exhibit A
One of the solid hits that Ron DeSantis landed on Gavin Newsom during their Thursday night debate was his waving a map graphically illustrating that San Francisco is covered with human fecal matter (aka poop), something that magically vanished only when a Chinese dictator came to town. San Francisco may be the worst city for human poop, but it’s not the only problem facing urban America. In Baltimore, the fact that the city has become a giant urinal is destroying the city’s historic buildings.
Until the modern era, cities were vast dung heaps, crawling with human and animal fecal matter. One of the hazards of narrow urban streets from the Roman era to the 19th century was that an upstairs window might open and, suddenly and without warning, someone would empty a chamber pot on your head as you walked by. Cesspits, where human waste was dumped, might not be cleaned for decades and, when they were, the stench was reputed to be so awful that the men tasked with the job sometimes died on the spot.
On busy streets, human fecal matter was outweighed by animal fecal matter from the horses, oxen, and other livestock that traveled through cities. In some areas, the effluvia could be ankle-deep. That’s why, when the car came along—the same vehicle we view as a pollutant—it was hailed as the answer to clean cities. For once, the roads were no longer an odorous slurry of animal urine and feces.
As you can imagine the fact that cities were giant, open sewers meant that the stench was unbearable. Indeed, in London, during the unusually hot summer of 1858, London experienced what became known as the “Great Stink.” Until then, the Thames was not only the main waterway but also the main sewage line. However, in 1858, human waste, combined with animal waste from the London butcheries, overwhelmed the Thames to such an extent that Parliament came to a standstill and finally passed legislation to build a modern sewage system.
However, thanks to Democrat policies in cities across America, we’re reverting to the pre-modern era. As noted, San Franciscans need poop maps to navigate their once-lovely city:
It’s not just San Francisco, though. In Baltimore, a Democrat hellhole with gorgeous 19th- and early 20th-century architecture, public urination is eating away at the buildings:
Many of downtown Baltimore’s buildings are slowly being washed away. The problem is less flooding and rain, more golden showers.
That’s right, pee is eroding thousands of historic buildings downtown, the exterior bases corroding with every spurt.
Like a yellow Sharpie, it’s highlighting long-standing tensions in Baltimore: the decline of a once bustling city center, dwindling public spaces and the enduring needs of the local homeless population.
As the article points out, the same problem is eating away at other of the world’s historic buildings:
The acidic liquid is also wreaking havoc on the world’s tallest church in Germany, the historic streets of Paris, and medieval inns in London, where cities have opted to install “urine deflectors” and “open sidewalk urinals” to redirect bold tinklers.
Baltimore is planning to install more public restrooms, but that’s not necessarily the cure it seems. As drug use and homelessness rise in cities, restrooms cease to be places in which people can go to relieve themselves. Instead, they become places for the homeless to camp out, prostitutes to ply their trade, and drug users to shoot up.
In addition, all the cities that have opened their doors to overwhelming influxes of third-world “refugees,” especially from the Middle East, are discovering that those people don’t even have a concept of toilets. In Germany, the Muslims really like to use swimming pools. In Italy, they use the public fountains as bidets.
While today’s pee story is about Baltimore, the fact is that we are rapidly “de-civilizing.” Thanks to the breakdown in Western norms, we are returning to a pre-modern world and, I can assure you, it will be smelly, inconvenient, and rife with deadly diseases we once believed were long gone from the West.

THE WEEKY BLACK ON BLACK SHOOTINGS IN CHICAGO CAUSED BY RIGHT-WINGERS!
At Least 30 Shot in Brandon Johnson’s Chicago over Thanksgiving Weekend
At least 30 people were shot, one of them fatally, over Thanksgiving weekend in Mayor Brandon Johnson’s (D) Chicago.
Breitbart News reported 25 people were shot in the Windy City by Saturday night alone, with one of those shooting victims succumbing to their wounds.
One of the non-fatal shootings was as a drive-by incident just after midnight on Thursday that left five teens wounded near the United Center. The teens ranged from 15 to 18 years in age and, although wounded, were in good condition.
CBS News noted that by Monday morning the total number of shooting victims in Chicago for the Thanksgiving Weekend has reached at least 30. They reported five non-fatal shootings on Sunday, three of which were incidents in which people were walking their dog or simply walking down the sidewalk when someone opened fire on them.
A 49-year-old woman “in the 100 block of South Sacramento Boulevard” was robbed at gunpoint just before 8 a.m. Sunday and one of the suspect’s shot her in the abdomen after stealing her belongings.
The victim was hospitalized in good condition.
Chicago, like all of Illinois, has a licensing requirement for legal gun ownership, a 72-hour waiting period on gun purchases, a red flag law, and an “assault weapons” ban, which includes a ban on “high capacity” magazines. Moreover, Chicago sits in Cook County and that county has an additional “assault weapons” ban.
Nevertheless, nearly 540 people have been killed in Chicago during 2023, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Radical Left-Winger Brandon Johnson Wins Race for Chicago Mayor
Brandon Johnson, the far-left, self-professed “progressive” candidate who ran on a plan to defund the Chicago Police and raise the city’s taxes, has won his runoff campaign for mayor of Chicago.
Moderate Democrat Paul Vallas led Johnson for most of the night until around 8 p.m. when Johnson began overtaking the former Chicago Public Schools chief.
Vallas ran as a business-friendly, law-and-order candidate while Johnson, who is black, ran a brutal campaign calling Vallas a racist who is “really a Republican.”
The election came down to the wire with more than 500,000 Chicagoans casting their ballot for mayor, but in the end, Johnson was able to maintain his slight lead, although the counting will continue as absentee and mail-in votes are counted after Election Night.
Still, many were calling the mayor’s race by 9 p.m. Central on Tuesday evening.
Crime served as a top issue in the runoff even as Johnson continued to try and run away from the debate on the campaign trail.
It was no surprise that Johnson did not want to talk about the issues.
According to the Chicago Tribune, in the wake of the death of George Floyd back in 2020, Johnson — who was a Cook County Commissioner at the time — introduced a resolution to “redirect funds from policing and incarceration to public services not administered by law enforcement.” His “Justice for Black Lives” resolution passed overwhelmingly in July 2020.
Johnson also blasted the now deposed Mayor Lori Lightfoot — who opposed defunding the police — and insisted that “she’s on the wrong side of history. … And the other side of the building has to come to their own reckoning.”
Johnson added, “This will give the county commissioners a road map for taking millions of waste spent on incarceration and policing and reinvesting it.”
A year later, Johnson appeared on WCPT 820′s The Santita Jackson Show and said that defunding the police is not just a slogan, adding, “I don’t look at it as a slogan. It’s an actual real political goal,” the Tribune added.
Johnson has also been in favor of huge hikes in taxes on a city that already has some of the highest taxes in the country.
Under Lori Lightfoot, the Windy City led the nation along with Los Angeles in losing citizens to outward migration.

Hundreds of Chicago Teachers Raped, Sexually Assaulted, Groomed Students in 2022
Hundreds of teachers in Chicago’s public school system raped, sexually assaulted, and groomed students last year.
According to a report released by Chicago Public Schools’ Office of the Inspector General, the 2021-2022 school year saw 772 investigations into teachers for allegedly raping, sexually assaulting, or grooming students.
The office was able to close 600 “adult on student” cases in the past year, and substantiated more than half of the allegations. Despite that, only 16 of the cases have resulted in charges.
Some cases involved taking trips to Las Vegas, Ibiza, London, and the Bahamas for sexual purposes.
While the majority of cases involved high school students, some involved children as young as fourth grade.
One Chicago teacher “groomed and sexually assaulted” a 17-year-old student on three separate occasions.
“She began to think of him as her friend and therapist,” according to the student. The teacher “touched and groped the student while hugging her, touching her thighs and buttocks under the pretext of removing lint from her clothing.”
Those allegations were corroborated, but while the teacher was charged with multiple counts of sexual assault, he was acquitted in November. He is currently battling his termination with the Illinois State Board of Education.
A Junior ROTC staffer reportedly had sex with a female student from the ages 16 to 17-years-old, and would buy her alcohol. He also asked her to buy him marijuana from other students.
Some texts between the staff member and the student were highly sexual, including “I’m ready to f*** right now … I’m not gonna be gentle either.” The staff member also “threatened to kill the student and her family” if she told anyone about the relationship.
Yet another incident involved a teacher asking “a fourth-grade student why her lips were chapped, and then stated that the student’s lips were chapped because she was ‘sucking dick.'”
One gym teacher exposed himself to a sophomore girl and sent a different 15-year-old student “photos and videos of himself masturbating and engaged in other sexual acts.”
An elementary school teacher “sexually touched” a male student over the course of several years, from ages 11 to 14. That teacher “spent the night in the student’s bedroom, having sex with the student.”
As Breitbart News reported, the Biden administration attempted to end the Trump-era reporting requirements for teachers who sexually assault students. Such a proposal would have seen only the 16 allegations with criminal charges included in national numbers, not the full 772.
It would have also made it easier for school districts to continue “passing the trash — relocating predator teachers without disclosing their conduct to the new district,” according to former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Steps Down as Chairman of Revolt TV Network Amid Sexual Misconduct Accusations
The rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has stepped down as chairman of his Revolt TV network after he was hit with three sexual misconduct lawsuits that included disturbing accusations of rape and sex trafficking.
Revolt announced Combs’ resignation in an Instagram post Tuesday.
While some media reports have described the resignation as “temporary” or “stepping aside,” the company’ post simply stated that Combs “has stepped down from his position as chairman of Revolt.”
Revolt said Combs “has previously had no operational or day-to-day role” in running the business.
“This decision helps to ensure that Revolt remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black [sic] people throughout this country and the African diaspora.”
As Breitbart News reported, Sean Combs was recently hit with three lawsuits in New York that were recently filed as part of the state’s Adult Survivors Act, which lifted the statute of limitations on such complaints — with no time limit on when the alleged actions took place.

Alleged Hate Crime Victim in Texas Charged with Burning Down His Own House
SAN JACINTO COUNTY, Texas — A Texas man who claimed his house was sprayed with racist graffiti is now facing charges of burning down his own home. Two men, including a family member, reportedly died in the fire, and another person was seriously injured.
A San Jacinto County grand jury returned a true bill indictment against Waterwood resident Mario Roberson, Sheriff Greg Capers told Breitbart Texas on Tuesday. The grand jury charged Roberson with Felony Arson after an investigation by the Texas State Fire Marshal’s Office into a June 10 fire that left two people dead and another seriously injured.
San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers told Breitbart Texas that a warrant for Roberson’s arrest has not yet been issued. “We can’t do anything until we have a warrant for his arrest,” Capers explained. “The best thing Roberson can do would be to turn himself in.”
Roberson claimed earlier this year that his home was sprayed with graffiti that included racial slurs, KTRK ABC 13 reported.
“Racism, power, hungriness, money has gotten us to this place,” Roberson told ABC13 on the day of the June fire. Prior to that, KTRK interviewed Roberson regarding the racist graffiti. Roberson alleged someone sprayed his door with “We don’t like your kind,” followed by a racial slur.Roberson blamed the Waterwood Property Owners Association for the attack. He said there was an ongoing dispute over short-term rentals in the subdivision.
KTRK REPORTED:
ABC13 obtained body-worn camera video from law enforcement at the fire scene on June 10.
In it, Roberson is heard telling authorities, “The neighbors called me. I kept hearing the phone ring. She said, ‘Mario, your house is on fire.’ I thought she was playing. She said, ‘Your truck.’ I come over here, and I didn’t expect to see this… Matter of fact, when this went down, I know y’all heard about this racist stuff that was sprayed on my door.”
According to neighbors, the man who survived the fire got out covered in flames. He drove a truck away from the scene and later crashed into a ditch. San Jacinto County deputies found him.
“I stepped in some gas,” the burned man told the deputy. “I’m burned up.”
When asked by the deputy what happened, the man said, “I’m telling you. I’m from Houston. This dude, he told me to bring him out here to Huntsville… He said somebody wants to do a numbers job on a house.”
Roberson faces a first-degree felony arson charge. If convicted on the charge, he could face a sentence of five to 99 years in a Texas prison.

Roberson alleged someone sprayed his door with “We don’t like your kind,” followed by a racial slur.

Police: FBI Agent Carjacked in Washington DC as Crime Plagues Capital
Police say an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) was carjacked by two armed suspects Wednesday afternoon in Washington, DC.
Approximately 30 minutes after the incident, the vehicle involved was located a mile away from the scene, the New York Post reported Thursday.
An image shows what appears to be officers at the scene:
“The FBI’s Washington field office and the Metropolitan Police Department’s carjacking task force are investigating, the FBI said in a statement,” the outlet said, noting, “Violent crime in Washington has also been on the rise this year, up more than 40% compared with last year.”
Fox 5 reported Wednesday there was not yet any information regarding arrests in the case:
Law enforcement officers apparently do not know why carjackings in D.C. surged 111 percent in the first ten months of 2023, Breitbart News reported October 7.
The article noted the jump in numbers is compared to the same period in 2022, adding officials refused to prosecute 67 percent of the arrestees in 2022.
The outlet said the people arrested in the carjacking cases are mostly under 18 years old.
The report continued:
U.S. Attorney for D.C. Matthew Graves suggested in August that his office would crack down on some crimes involving juveniles. His office does not generally prosecute them. According to 2022 District statistics, Graves refused to prosecute 67 percent of those arrested who could have stood trial in the D.C. Superior Court. Among juvenile crime, he refused to prosecute 26 percent, according to data obtained by the Washington Post.
President Joe Biden nominated Graves to his position in 2021, and the Senate confirmed him.
It is important to note that officials say a 13-year-old in D.C. who was fatally shot during an alleged attempted carjacking of a federal officer had nine previous carjacking and robbery charges over the period of five weeks, Breitbart News reported on November 4.
“The tragic incident is representative of the soaring crime and the District’s bewildered justice system,” the article said.

New York Retailers Blast Gov. Hochul After Losing $4.4 Billion to Theft Last Year
New York retailers are blasting Gov. Kathy Hochul after losing a whopping $4.4 billion last year to theft, as the Democrat governor vetoes measures to tackle the issue.
Hochul vetoed a proposal last week that would have created a 15-member task force of appointed experts to tackle organized retail crime, to the “chagrin” of store owners, the New York Post reported.
“Retailers throughout the state are extremely disappointed to learn that Governor Hochul vetoed a bipartisan bill that would have established the New York State Organized Retail Crime Task Force,” the Retail Council of New York State said in a statement on November 20.
“Stores that invest in New York communities lose $4.4 billion to retail theft, and this illegal activity certainly has community safety implications.”
Council president and CEO Melissa O’Connor said she spoke with Hochul “at length” to discuss the “need for immediate action and an effective, collaborative response to this problem,” but reported that her administration has disappointed store owners throughout the state with her inaction.
A spokesperson for Hochul excused the veto by saying that the task force would have cost the state $35 million that was not in the budget, the Post noted.
New York City has seen major increases in retail theft, with a 64 percent surge in reported incidents over the four-year period between mid-2019 and June of this year, according to a Council on Criminal Justice report.
While the Big Apple faces the brunt of crime, smaller cities throughout the state have also seen tremendous losses from organized retail theft, officials say.

NYPD Crime Stoppers via StoryfulSyracuse Police Chief Joe Cecile said last month that his town has seen a 55 percent spike in shoplifting since 2021, noting that the figure is a conservative estimate due to under-reporting.
“That number is likely higher because businesses often don’t report it—but they do continue to express concerns,” Cecile told CNY Central.
The chief warned that small businesses are “having trouble sustaining themselves” amid the crime surge.
One local pharmacy chain has been suffering losses of over a quarter million dollars per year alone, he told the outlet.
In the state capital, Albany, police have fielded 23 calls for larcenies at a single convenience store this year, up from 14 at this time in 2022.
Not surprisingly, the owner eventually had to shut down the location.
“Retail theft at convenience stores throughout the state is not as organized as at some other retailers but is as dangerous and impactful,” Kent Sopris, president of the New York Association of Convenience Stores, told the Post.
“My members have reported theft that leaves stores in shambles as criminals seek cigarettes, lottery tickets, and anything they can get their hands on.”

Police: Teen Murder Suspect Escapes Louisiana Jail for Second Time in Two Weeks
A teenage murder suspect who escaped from jail Saturday in Louisiana had apparently done the same thing two weeks prior.
Officials with the Baton Rouge Police Department were holding 17-year-old David Atkins on a first-degree murder charge, Fox News reported Monday.
However, Atkins broke out of jail Saturday alongside 17-year-old Willie Jackson, whom officials were holding on a murder charge through the sheriff’s department.
According to WAFB, Atkins had also escaped the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center the night of November 14 with another teenager identified as Jeremiah Green, 17.
At the time of Atkins’s first escape, the teens were wearing white shirts, orange sweat pants, and orange slippers, the outlet noted:
The Fox report said officers recaptured them just over 24 hours after the escape. However, Atkins is once again on the run, this time with Jackson.
In a social media post Monday, Capital Region Crime Stoppers shared images of the suspects:

The group is offering $2,000 per escapee for information leading to their capture.
The Capital Region Crime Stoppers post reads:
ATKINS is pictured below wearing the black hooded sweatshirt. JACKSON also shown wearing the gray t-shirt. ATKINS was being held on First Degree Murder charges through the Baton Rouge Police Department. JACKSON was being held on First Degree Murder charges through the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of DAVID ATKINS or WILLIE JACKSON is urged to contact to contact Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP(7867), download the P3 Tips App, or visit crimestoppers225.com.
Law enforcement is still working to determine how the teens escaped, telling Fox the search is ongoing.
“Over the weekend, the Baton Rouge Police Department issued a press release saying the suspects may have changed their hairstyles and warned the public not to approach the suspects if they are spotted,” the article said, adding the facility has been criticized for multiple escapes and violence in past years.
It is interesting to note that in May, Louisiana State University reported that a survey found crime was the main concern for residents.
“This year, crime surged to the top of state residents’ concerns, named by about one-fifth of respondents (19%),” the post read.
"That phase of the takeover was started in 2008 by President Barack Obama. Throughout his eight years in office, Obama practiced divisiveness and hammered away at the Second Amendment while pouring gallons of fuel on the fire of the "Black Lives Matter" lie. His administration was rampant with corruption, pushing the envelope with every new scandal." RICK HAYES

Police: Indiana Man Had Pistol Hidden in Rectum During Traffic Stop
A man with a long criminal history was carrying a handgun in his rectum Monday during a traffic stop in Evansville, Indiana, police say.
Officers made the 2:00 a.m. traffic stop for an obstructed license plate on a vehicle in which 32-year-old Christopher Boyd was a passenger, The Smoking Gun reported.
The outlet noted the car’s driver and another passenger were later released after the Evansville officers searched them.
The outlet continued:
A pat down of Boyd, however, turned up “a small bag with multiple pills” in his right sock. Boyd reportedly said he got the narcotics from his “Aunt Trish” and believed the pills to be Percocet. He used the painkiller, Boyd said, “because he has a bullet lodged in his spine.”
Before being placed in a cruiser, Boyd (seen at right) was searched, though he claimed to be unable to spread his legs very far due to his spine injury. “While searching in Boyd’s groin area, Boyd tensed up,” a cop noted, adding that he asked the suspect if he had “anything stuffed in his groin or buttocks.”
In reply to the question, authorities said he told them he did not.
When they arrived at the jail, a body scanner highlighted an object in the suspect’s groin area while a strip search revealed small bags of marijuana concealed beside the man’s scrotum.
During the process, Boyd was clenching his buttocks and an officer realized he was holding a handgun inside his rectum. The gun was eventually removed from the suspect’s body.
The Smoking Gun said it was a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard, which is quite small and lightweight.
An image shows the suspect in the case:
Social media users were quick to offer their thoughts on the report, one person referring to it as “Concealed carry.”
“I hope it wasn’t loaded. That would be dangerous,” another user replied. The Smoking Gun article noted it was unclear if the firearm was loaded or not.
Boyd was reportedly previously convicted of attempted murder, burglary, and domestic battery, the outlet stated.
Now, “he is the subject of an active protective order and has been classified as a ‘Serious Violent Felon and Domestic Batterer,’ which bars him from possessing a handgun, cops reported,” the report said, adding he was charged with felony drug, gun, and trafficking charges in the recent case.
Officials are currently holding him without bond.
In 2022, a model skirted being criminally convicted for attempting to smuggle cocaine into an event in Sydney, Australia, where there were drug-sniffing canines, according to Breitbart News. The outlet said that during a strip search, law enforcement had found the cocaine in a condom tucked inside her vagina, the outlet said.
A similar instance happened in Waco, Texas, in 2015, when police found drugs in a car and a loaded pistol tucked inside a woman’s vagina during a traffic stop, per Breitbart News.

BLACKS ARE THE MOST VIOLENT SUBCULTURE IN THE WORLD!
On May 25, 2020, a Black man who’d ingested huge quantities of illegal drugs died while a White cop restrained him as an angry crowd threatened. Democrats seized this incident as an opportunity to reclaim the White House and dominate government by racially dividing the nation.
https://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2022/06/mexifornia-reparations-for-blacks-when.html
Let me be blunt. Throwing more money at Blacks will make virtue-signaling White leftists feel a little more virtuous. It will not help those Blacks who are sinking into a morass of poverty, crime, abuse, and despair. The only thing that will change is when they stop looking for reparations (even arguably deserved ones) and start repairing their broken communities. ANDREA WIDBURG

Suspect Freed from Jail without Bail in Memphis After Allegedly Murdering 15-Year-Old Boy on Thanksgiving
A man charged with murdering a 15-year-old boy on Thanksgiving in Memphis, Tennessee, has since been freed from jail without having to pay bail.
Edio White, 18, and Conner Tucker,15, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder during a robbery, criminal attempted aggravated robbery, and illegal possession of a weapon after allegedly shooting to death 15-year-old Anthony Mason outside his home on Thanksgiving in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis.
According to police, security footage shows White driving a Hyundai Sonata to Mason’s residence in the middle of the night on Thanksgiving with Tucker in the passenger seat. Mason can be seen interacting with the pair outside the residence, police said.
At one point, while the three were passing firearms back and forth to each other, White allegedly grabbed a firearm from Mason which led to a struggle between the two before Tucker allegedly fired a gunshot to Mason’s head from inside the vehicle.
As Mason fell to the ground, dying instantly, the pair fled the scene in the vehicle. Police said Tucker admitted to shooting Mason in the head, while he said White was the getaway driver.
White likewise admitted he was the driver, police said, and that they were headed to Mason’s residence that night to rob him with a pistol.
Since their arrests on Black Friday, White has been released from jail on his own recognizance without having to pay bail. His release has sparked backlash, including from Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who said “Criminals belong behind bars, not out on the streets,” in a statement posted to Twitter.
White’s release from jail despite a murder charge comes as Shelby County District Attorney Steven Mulroy (D) has overhauled the bail system in Memphis — now taking into account a suspect’s personal finances and whether they would be able to pay any bail at all.
While rolling out the new bail system in February, Mulroy said bail is “harder on the poor, it’s harder on minorities” and that his overhaul “is an attempt to fix that.”
Mulroy won the District Attorney’s race last year, ousting Republican Amy Weirich from the office. In the race, Mulroy was boosted by the likes of far-left jailbreak organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) and Real Justice PAC.
