Past Time to Undo Obama’s 'Fundamental Transformation'

In 2008 the media lapped up the master of Shuck and Jive, Barack Obama and his high-falutin' promise:

Now, Mizzou, I just have two words for you tonight: five days. Five days. After decades of broken politics in Washington, and eight years of failed policies from George W. Bush, and 21 months of a campaign that's taken us from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunshine of California, we are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.

"In five days, you can turn the page on policies that put greed and irresponsibility on Wall Street before the hard work and sacrifice of folks on Main Street. In five days, you can choose policies that invest in our middle class, and create new jobs, and grow this economy, so that everyone has a chance to succeed, not just the CEO, but the secretary and janitor, not just the factory owner, but the men and women on the factory floor.

In fact, what he instituted, endorsed, and placed the federal government’s many resources behind was the Marxist division of America into oppressed and oppressor groups -- using race and sex as substitutes for workers and producers. The destruction of national unity, the downplaying of merit and equal opportunity (in pursuit of equal outcomes) and the deliberate favoring of our enemies over our allies is now manifest.  Almost two decades later, we have seen how these policies have led to wars in the Middle East, the destruction of our educational systems, danger to our lives from poor management, and a substantially weakened military capability. From the personnel and policies that resulted in the wars in the Middle East to the appointment of the antisemitic Claudine Gay, I see Obama’s heavy hand.

Harvard

Penny Pritzker, senior fellow of Harvard Corporation (in effect, its Board of Trustees), was instrumental in both the election of Barack Obama and the selection of Claudine Gay as Harvard’s President.

“Without Penny Pritzker, it is unlikely that Barack Obama ever would have been elected to the United States Senate or the presidency. When she first backed him during his 2004 Senate run, she was No. 152 on the Forbes list of the wealthiest Americans. He was a long-shot candidate who needed her support and imprimatur. Mr. Obama and Ms. Pritzker grew close, sometimes spending weekends with their families at her summer home.” (New York Times)

She chaired his 2008 finance team and aided in his re-election campaign. Pritzker also chaired the team that selected Gay as Harvard president. When Gay’s presidency was on the shoals after her disastrous congressional appearance, Obama lobbied the Corporation to retain her, but ultimately failed when the evidence of Gay’s professional lifetime of plagiarism was exposed and even Pritzker could no longer save her.  Gay, like Obama, had achieved a highly prestigious role, not on merit, but on the very characteristics DEI weighed more heavily, and Harvard suffers and continues to suffer from the departure from the norm of earned merit as a criterion for advancement.

The Middle East

Antony Blinken, Biden’s Secretary of State, is an Obama holdover. Under Obama, he was deputy national security advisor and then deputy secretary of state. When he assumed his position under Biden, Trump had diplomatically isolated Iran, which was under international arms embargos. Biden adopted pro-Iran, pro-Qatar, and pro-Palestinian policies. These policies empowered our most dangerous Middle-Eastern enemies that finance Hamas, Hezb’allah, and the Houthis, all of which are fanatically anti-American and anti-Israeli. To take one example, immediately upon taking office, Biden reversed Trump’s designation of the Houthis as a terrorist organization. Blinken’s explanation for the reversal was that designating the Houthis as a terrorist organization would cause famine in Yemen. In recent months, the Houthis, in violation of international laws, have fired upon and pirated ships passing through the Red Sea. This week, after countless provocations, the U.S., allied with the U.K., the Netherlands, and others, has been forced to attack Houthi assets to permit uninterrupted transit on the Red Sea. On Friday Biden said he considered the Houthis terrorists. Once again, the policies and personnel of Obama have created chaos and war in the Middle East.

The U.S. Military

We can no longer meet our armed forces recruitment goals. A major factor is that white male recruiting is down. That this should surprise anyone is bizarre. Patrick H. Brady and Mike Waltz in the Wall Street Journal review the deleterious impact of DEI on our military. 

The U.S. military faces a self-inflicted threat to its preparedness to deter, fight and win wars. An essential, battle-tested element of military culture – colorblindness -- is being undermined. Unless the trend is reversed, our national security will be at increased risk. The reversal could be done at no cost, requiring only a policy decision and the reorientation of relevant training. 

Selflessness, which has been vital to the warrior ethos for generations, requires subordination of self and subgroup identity and the ability to regard teammates’ racial and ethnic differences as inconsequential. In the Army and Marines, sayings such as “We’re all green” or “We all bleed red” were part of training that transformed millions of diverse civilians into war fighters….  But that ethic is under attack. 

At the Air Force Academy, cadets have been taught that the term “colorblind” is offensive and that it’s preferable to be “color conscious.” Rather than teach future military leaders that “colorblindness” is a cultural imperative, the Pentagon unnecessarily focuses on, and even elevates, race and maintains an obsessive focus on racial demographics. Worse, it uses racial preferences in officer accession programs and sometimes in command, promotion and schooling selections….

Training that in earlier years was intended to ensure equal opportunity and dignity and respect for all has been displaced by diversity, equity and inclusion curricula with often vague language that emphasizes differences…

Viewpoint diversity can be beneficial even in an autocratic organization such as the military. What’s harmful is the Defense Department’s uncritical focus, through DEI, on racial differences that has weakened the colorblind warrior culture, eroded morale, undermined unit cohesion, and compromised combat effectiveness. 

The Production and Operation of Essential Equipment

If these examples of the dangerous impact of DEI on our functioning were not enough, consider how DEI led to a door falling off an airplane in flight. Elon Musk nailed it:

Elon Musk ripped Boeing over a filing that appeared to show the aeronautical giant two years ago began using diversity, equity and inclusion goals as incentives for executive compensation after previously focusing solely on safety and quality controls.

“Do you want to fly in an airplane where they prioritized DEI hiring over your safety? That is actually happening,” Musk said on X on Wednesday.

The billionaire, whose comments followed a nearly-catastrophic Alaska Airlines flight that suffered a fuselage panel blowout over the weekend, was reacting to a screenshot that showed a proxy statement from Boeing filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Beginning in 2022, the aircraft manufacturer changed its incentive plan from giving executives bonuses based on passenger safety, employee safety, and quality to rewarding them if they hit climate and DEI targets, according to the filing. [snip]  United Airlines has also found loose bolts and other “installation issues” on some of its Boeing 737 MAX 9 jets that were inspected following the Alaska Airlines flight.

Boeing has faced an influx of scrutiny after its 737 MAX 9 aircraft malfunctioned mid-flight.

 Delta and United airlines are now emphasizing DEI in pilot hiring. In United’s case, this policy may have resulted in an incident which nearly totaled its plane and other incidents blamed on pilot error.

Will we have to wait until a really tragic incident occurs before these airlines and Boeing wise up? 

Like Obama, DEI puts in nicer sounding words policies and personnel which endanger us all in every possible way.

Obama and the Broken Nation He Made Come Of Age

A generation doesn’t remember life before the crises he created.

Barack Obama turns 60 over the summer. The AARP cover with Barry posing next to a basketball and a shelf of bestselling non-fiction books he hasn’t read can’t be too far away.

Once the symbol of youthful hipness, the former boss of Hope and Change now lectures “young people” on what they should be doing. His legacy is being carried forward by 78-year-old Biden and the 81-year-old Pelosi. That’s above the average age of 80 of the House Dem leadership.

The average age of the Biden cabinet is two years older than President Trump’s cabinet.

The gerontocratic technocracy uses AOC as its younger foil, but she’s been a stalking horse for Bernie Sanders who will hit the big 80 in the fall. The big donors behind the American Left are even older with George Soros due to hit 90 the same month Obama gets to 60. The even bigger reservoirs of cash flowing into the leftist machine are coming from the foundations of men who were born in the 19th century like Henry Ford, John D. MacArthur, and John D. Rockefeller.

That’s about right for a 19th century ideology whose followers keep trying to make it look young.

Youthful leftism is anarchic. It’s CHAZ, BLM, and Antifa. It’s open air heroin markets, smashed store windows, and political assassinations. Turning that anarchy into collectivism requires hysterical propaganda and rallies that appear anarchic, but are actually tightly controlled, ideas that seem edgy, but are actually the work of men who were born during the age of the steam.

Obama’s policies have aged as badly as Marx, Biden, or their front man. But instead of moderating as they grow older, they only grow more radical. Obama equivocated on gay marriage, while Biden entirely erases the existence of women by calling them “birthing people”. Obama covertly weaponized the government against conservatives, while Biden is doing it openly. Everything from election rigging through H.R.1 to indoctrinating every government employee with critical race theory is happening more openly and blatantly under Biden.

Youthful leftist revolutions break the system while leftist gerentocrats impose the tyranny.

Making tyranny look like freedom requires hefty doses of chaos and outrage that make it appear that the system is being broken when it’s actually being built up. Or as George Orwell wrote in 1984, “One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship.” The revolution is the thing it’s revolting against.

The end of history keeps arriving only to vanish like a mirage when the youth reach for it.

"This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal," Obama told his followers. Two years later, he privately snapped, "What does he think I'm supposed to do? Put on my f------ Aquaman gear and swim down there myself with a wrench?"

Thirteen years have passed and if the planet has begun to heal, Democrats won’t admit it.

The moment of epochal change can never be allowed to arrive because it would interrupt the permanent crisis. Salvation is always here and also always out of reach. But there’s always a new generation available to be fooled again because they know the past doesn’t matter.

History is radically revised every generation not just for what it teaches, but for what it doesn’t.

A revisionist history work like the 1619 Project doesn’t just impose a radical new racist history, it displaces the past. Another revisionist history will come along to displace the 1619 Project because manufacturing history churn is vital to destroying any continuity with the past. All the academic lenses being swapped one for the other like a mad ophthalmologist leaves a new generation with a lot of theories, but no clue that they’re being indoctrinated into a lost cause.

The Left has no new ideas. Like Hollywood, it makes old ideas seem new by rebooting them, by making them appear hip and trendy, and by destroying a meaningful connection with the past. And that way audiences don’t realize they’re just seeing the same movie remade over again. What might be creative bankruptcy in a movie theater is a more seriously sisyphean problem described by Churchill as, “Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it.”

But how does a new generation learn from a past that isn’t allowed to exist on its own terms?

Demonizing the past is a convenient way of obscuring it. The only thing students are taught about the past is that it was a horrible time, its people backward, its customs savage, its learning wicked, its institutions racist, and its ideas horrifying. In postmodern history, the past exists only as a cautionary tale gleaned for historical struggles that fit into the new narrative.

History is an incomplete present whose revolutions were never fully fulfilled. It’s a revolutionary story of a world ruled by villains until they were overthrown by the forces of good. And this revolution against history must continue until all of the past is negated by the present.

The destruction of statues and burning of books forces ‘presentism’ for the past to conform to the dogmas of the moment. The biggest problem with the past isn’t that it’s politically incorrect, but that it’s repeating itself. The Black Lives Matter movement transparently harkens back to the 70s. So do most of the radical social impulses in which the Left cloaks its real power agenda.

The revolutionary chaos is doomed to fail again, but each oscillation breaks the country more.

The social activism is window dressing. A proper Marxist regime has little use for militant minorities, feminism, gay rights, police defunding, transgender bathrooms, pipeline protests, abortion, or any of the other issues the radicals have been using to waste our time. If you doubt that, go look at how many of any of the above you can find in China, Cuba, or North Korea.

The Russian Futurists vowed to throw the art and literature of the past overboard from the “steamship of modernity”. But the Bolsheviks were not looking for disruptive art and when the revolution arrived, modern art was tossed overboard and the former revolutionaries settled down to producing socialist realism and recreating the art of the past for the Soviet Union.

After a brief permissive period, the Soviet Union criminalized homosexuality and insisted on traditional marriages and roles for women. Those feminists who resisted were soon shown their place with one of the more notorious free love figures being forcibly married off by Lenin.

The dictatorship had eclipsed the revolution and the past was quickly rewritten all over again.

As Obama approaches his sixtieth birthday, the age at which Khrushchev struggled for control of the USSR and Mao launched his Great Leap Forward, two events that would require a good deal of historical editing, our American past is already being rewritten. Only those who are at least in their thirties will remember that there wasn’t a racial crisis before Barack Obama.

And there hadn’t been such a crisis for a generation before he took power.

Our racial crisis is not a legacy of 1619, but of 2008. Obama’s victory was not a revolution against a crisis, but the revolution that created the crisis. To a new generation, the racial crisis is a permanent feature of life. They have always lived under the crisis and expect to always live under it. That is why critical race theory and white privilege rants have become so pervasive.

Without a generation coming of age in a world shaped by the toxic idea that all white people are evil and all minorities are victims, no one outside academic circles would have willingly accepted them. And if that generation seems all too easy to radicalize into supporting the most insane policies, that’s because it grew up in a world defined by the hysteria of manufactured crises.

The world as they know it is doomed by melting ice caps, the rich getting richer, and the genocide of black people at the hands of the police. Every radical program is backed by a sense of urgent crisis which is killing people and destroying the future. They can’t imagine a present without the crisis and don’t remember ever living in a world not defined by crisis.

As Obama gets closer to his AARP cover, a generation lives in the world that he made.

Like Obama, his radical political movement speaks endlessly about the past, but has no actual past. Its past is always being reinvented and retold through new narratives, but with no facts.

The Obama revolution has come and gone. We have skipped past it to the Soviet Union of Chernenko and Andropov, of gerontocrats building the tyranny with the beams of revolution. The decline is everywhere as the theories fail, the factories close, and the stores stand empty.

The youth are being rallied to cheer for the revolutionary tyranny of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer who are promising a new era in history no one believes in anymore. Since the election their cause is no longer free college, it’s federalizing elections through H.R.1.

Federalizing elections, eliminating the filibuster, and packing the Supreme Court are compelling issues in Washington D.C., but the regime plotting new coups has little to say to the ordinary people facing high prices for gas and bread. Land, Bread, and Peace has given way to a race for total power over the country as the revolution of Hope, Crisis and Change comes of age.

There’s no change without crisis, and without hope, there’s only hate.

 

How Obama Pulls Biden's Strings

Barack Obama and his “Hope and Change” for America represented a political Trojan Horse phenomenon.  Joe Biden was Obama’s choice for his vice president for eight years of his Trojan Horse presidency. Joe Biden’s presidency has been an Obama Trojan Horse II with less subtle, more blunt messages of political persuasion and policy formation.

Obama, through clever political manipulation, presidential dictates, and eloquent speechmaking brought a seductive liberal, progressive, socialistic utopian vision to America. Obama used sophisticated Alinsky-style tactics to construct his Trojan Horse. He has tried to change America from within by distorting our political system. According to Obama, we are not an exceptional country. We are in Obama’s mind merely another tribe in his vision of where the best history of the collective human village is going.

Joe Biden trumpets Obama’s propaganda slogans of “social justice” vaunted as America’s true democratic values. Obama and now Biden both seduce and are pampered and protected by the American mainstream media which suspends vigorous investigative reporting about Hunter Biden’s promoting ‘the Biden brand” for alleged political influence peddling and financial gain for Biden family members.  

Joe Biden has created a third term for Obama’s propaganda domain labelled as “social justice” and “our American democratic values,” really Obama-Biden’s version. Biden has added climate change as his anti-fossil fuel campaign that destroys our energy independence and brings American security and military power down a peg. Former president Barack Obama has raised questions about the structure of President Biden’s reelection campaign, discussing the matter directly with Biden and telling the president’s aides and allies the campaign needs to be empowered to make decisions without clearing them with the White House, according to three people familiar with the conversations.

Obama grew “animated” in discussing the 2024 election and former president Donald Trump’s potential return to power, one of the people said, and has suggested to Biden’s advisers that the campaign needs more top-level decision-makers at its headquarters in Wilmington, Del. — or it must empower the people already in place. Obama has not recommended specific individuals, but he has mentioned David Plouffe, who managed Obama’s 2008 race, as the type of senior strategist needed at the Biden campaign.

David Plouffe also remained Obama’s senior advisor who headed his internal comms strategy. He then became Obama’s point man for warning Biden to stand down and let Hillary get the nomination.

I don’t know how compos mentis Biden is, but I can only imagine his teeth gritting at the mention of Plouffe.

Biden’s weakness has really brought out the vultures. As I wrote recently, Biden had turned to Hillary Clinton for help.

Hillary Clinton is hosting fundraisers for Biden and making the case for him to Democrats. The Clintons won’t spit in your face for free and acting as a campaign surrogate comes with a high price. That’s why Hillary is now suddenly back on the world stage, meeting with foreign leaders and why her aides are showing up in the Biden campaign. Dennis Cheng, the vice president of the Clinton Foundation, is now going to be Biden’s deputy political director, tying together the Biden campaign and the Clinton moneymaking operation.

Now Obama showed up to name his price for a piece of what’s left of Biden’s soul.

Why is this story appearing in the Washington Post? Obama’s people are applying pressure on Biden’s people by way of putting the word out to Biden’s donors.

Obama also recommended that Biden seek counsel from Obama’s own former campaign aides, which Biden officials say they have done, the people said.

No doubt.

Biden’s people are worried about being displaced. A campaign shakeup and a hijacking followed by Obama’s people taking over.

This is really a pitched battle over who gets to be the hand inside an elderly and increasingly less functional puppet.

Two Racial Grievance Girls: Michelle and Meghan

How much do Meghan Markle, duchess of Sussex, and Michelle Obama, ex–first lady, have in common?  It’s odd how much, yet how little of distinction or substance is in that muchness — given the strong hints of vacuity in both women, and in spite of the gushing excesses of “personality” in their public profiles.  There are so many legitimately accomplished and courageous female heroines, past and present.  It is an unfortunate characteristic of reportage that the likes of these two get the insistent “coverage” withheld from those far more deserving.

The two women share middle-class backgrounds and higher education (Michelle Ivy League, Meghan top-tier) degrees.  Both women have been (Michelle) and are (Meghan) using their own mothers to “help” raise their children, in a sort of familial au pair capacity.  Both have high-fashion tastes and use private jets for travel.  Both are frequent commentators on their own racial victimization.

The serious press doesn’t run much on Meghan, yet just enough to legitimize the tabloids; social media; and bored, dissatisfied individuals across the world who opine that the duchess is something worth thinking about.

Michelle Obama, by contrast, is heavily reported, always, in the MSM.  Michelle does revolving books (or someone does for her).  Apparently, she has a heavy hand in the Obama Netflix MAGA attack theatre.  She routinely fills up the Obama unearned privilege tank with loads of cash, to spend or invest, from wildly overpaid speeches and “cameo” appearances.  Never has grifting been so easy.  At last count, Michelle has four mansions to “live in” and enjoys her subsidized, international celebrity vacation tours annually.

We were told, shortly after Meghan’s ascent — via her heavily strategized betrothal and royal marriage to Prince Harry — that Michelle and Meghan were already “friends” (really?).  There is no longer intel on that “friendship” through the MSM waves — which silence is, of itself, meant to carry a message to us.  Is Michelle not happy with Meghan’s aggressive socio-political ambitions in the race market?  Michelle O is, to any marginally perceptive voter, an argumentative, über-aggrieved individual who leaves no quarter for rivalry.  (Ask Jill Biden.)

Meghan is small beer compared to Michelle — or the press really thinks so.  So what is the commercial glue that holds these two aloft, at least in the progressive mind?  Why, “racism,” of course.  Just ask poor old Oprah, who filmed a long whine-in session after Duchess Meghan’s flight back to Canada (with her prince in tow), and then to California, where Hollywood is.  The main topic was Meghan’s so-called privileged “sufferings” across the pond in Britain — as a “Black.”  Goodness, who knew?

Michelle has those privileged sufferings, too, in her White House desert years, and perennially.  Here Michelle Obama is, with ex–first lady Laura Bush, both commenting — from Tanzania — on life in the White House:

MRS. OBAMA:  No, there are prison elements to it [The White House].  (Laughter.)  But it's a really nice prison, so...

MRS. BUSH:  But with a chef.

The nuances and cultivation of racism are brought to the American public through the services of our nearly fascistic government and MSM — which government/MSM is reinventing the common humanity (remember “the human race”?) of the American people — now in hyper-regulated P.C., separate parts of a slice-and-dice universe — with no human solidarity, and thus no shared moral core.  “Racism” is further devolving around us into faux “feminism” and faux “gender-transitioning” and any other divisive, unproven absurdity, now almost overtaken by “climate change”–ism.  We are being separated and estranged from one another — to give the brutish U.S. government and the world’s elite a power lock on our lives.

A handy barometer for the federal, monetized aggression via “isms” against the American people can be readily seen in the current documents of the U.S. Census, as it fails to justify its growing demands upon our privacy and insists on the priority of “race” in every evaluation:

The racial categories included in the census questionnaire generally reflect a social definition of race recognized in this country and not an attempt to define race biologically, anthropologically, or genetically. In addition, it is recognized that the categories of the race item include racial and national origin or sociocultural groups. People may choose to report more than one race to indicate their racial mixture, such as “American Indian” and “White.” People who identify their origin as Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish may be of any race.

OMB requires five minimum categories: White, Black, or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.

Oh-kay.  The U.S. Census does admit that it is not using formal definitions or understandings, let alone “science,” regarding what “race” means.  That is right — they aren’t — but they are making up some.  Whatever might be “a social definition of race”?

All it took for Meghan’s version of her racially victimized past to stick was to haul her “Black Mother” — who raised her less than her white father did — across the ocean and announce to the world (having landed Harry) that the duchess is not “really white,” as it turns out (like her despicable, too responsible dad), but “black.”  Meghan is hip that, in the currency of her journey, “white” is not a good look.  She needs the MSM and progressive buy-in — and wants it driven, as part of the winning political message, out to the streets, where the clueless, protesting public await another bone to chew on.

At present, how goes the polling on Meghan and Michelle?  Michelle is widely proffered as a candidate for the 2024 presidential race.

The ex–first lady’s oft-cited popularity, almost exclusively extant among the Democrats, is a result of at least a decade of unrelieved, inaccurate, fatuous, Photoshopped, and insistent accolades from the MSM and social media.  Well, she could secure the Obama “fourth term” — which should be, to any sentient creature, a truly horrific prospect.

And what of poor little Meghan, still toiling as an outfielder in the polling world?  Hilariously, Meghan has been advanced by several — including Biden’s sister — as a good presidential prospect.

Meghan has no political qualifications.  Michelle is less politically qualified than ex–first lady Hillary was, in her bespoke, scandal-bedeviled nomination, positioned as a heavyweight in the inherently dubious ex–first lady presidential qualification scales.

Meghan is not polling very well, even as a popular “influencer,” lately.  Well, that’s show business.  Soap actress Meghan, bless her, may have to wait for 2028.  Michelle may be more “lucky.”  In the meantime, maybe Meghan should pick up a law degree.  Harvard is looking for some good press.

The Democrat party: who are they?

Just who are the members of the Democrat/socialist/communist (D/s/c) Party? How do their beliefs differ from those of normal Americans?

I write “D/s/c” as an umbrella acronym for the Democrat Party, which is largely devoured and directed by its socialist and communist-leaning members. It also encompasses various anarchist and fascist—fascists are leftists—branches such as BLM, Antifa and other charming social organizations, though they’re a bit more overt in their destructive designs. Their view of politicians is at once worshipful and cynical. They tend to see and speak of them in messianic terms as they did and do with Barack Obama. He’s “The One,” and “The Lightbringer.” Google “Obama halo” and you’ll find an endless supply of photos and other images of Obama wearing a halo. He's been depicted as a pseudo-Hindu god of death, and in saint-like iconography. One magazine interposed him over a cross in time for Easter, and he often used our troops as worshipful stage props. Even now, his followers proclaim him the most brilliant man ever to have lived, and he continues to brilliantly damage America.

Contrast this with Joe Biden who was, until recently, universally favorably depicted, but not blasphemously worshipped. He’s being cynically used, a rapidly spoiling meat puppet whose political usefulness is nearly expired, a tragic victim of elder abuse. Even so, if he can be drug into a fourth Obama term, his handlers will be delighted to keep propping him up. He can be controlled.

D/s/cs tend not to be overtly religious. Their political beliefs are their faith, and in true communist style, there can be no greater power than the Party, which is their secular faith. This largely explains their increasingly overt hostility toward, and persecution of, Christians. This too is projection. They see Christians as deadly threats, so believe Christians feel the same and will act on those feelings. Thus has the FBI been surveilling Catholics who appreciate the Latin Mass, branding them “Radical Traditional Catholics.” Thus were innumerable Christians arrested for trying to attend church during Covid lockdowns.

Essential to understanding them is knowing many of them think themselves morally, intellectually, and politically superior to normal Americans. They're the self-imagined elite. They really do denigrate the denizens of “Flyover Country”—their term--that vast, cultural wasteland between the enlightened coasts where Deplorables live their pathetic, uninformed, meaningless little lives.

Because they are superior beings, their political beliefs and policies are perfect--non-falsifiable. They cannot fail and no evidence can prove them wrong. When those policies inevitably fail, the failure is either ignored, indignantly denied, or blamed on their generosity in allowing their opponents to keep living to oppose those policies. Perhaps the policies haven’t been in force long enough for their wonders to manifest, they haven’t been imposed on Deplorables good and hard enough, or as always, not nearly enough money has been spent. Failure is impossible, but inadequate messaging may be reluctantly admitted. Doubling down on failure, and the more destructive the better, is their status quo.

They value ideological purity in voting and all else, and virtually always vote in lockstep. They are masters of warping language to their benefit and invent new narratives to suit their transitory political needs. Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are related narrative systems that reflect their political methods of class/identity warfare where there are oppressors—white Americans—and the oppressed—everyone else. Individuals don't matter.

Joe Biden infamously observed “we believe in truth over facts.” Among their current truths is America was founded on slavery, is irredeemably racist, and is the source of all the world’s evils. All white people are white supremacists, and all political opponents are domestic terrorists, insurrectionists, and existential threats to “our democracy,” their intended tyranny of the majority.  

Among their favored oppressed are criminals--the more violent and depraved the better--and their policies have turned our blue cities into third world war zones. Other oppressed are the millions of illegal aliens they’re importing. Non-D/s/c Americans have so disappointed them. They intend to abolish them and import their replacements. That many of them are criminals, terrorists, pedophiles, slavers and masses who can’t speak the language and have no skills with which to support themselves is a feature rather than a bug. They’re worried about the illegal avalanche, but not because of the damage it’s doing to America. They’re afraid of losing power, afraid, despite their best Trump Derangement Syndrome efforts, their election fraud protocols might not prevail.

Some of them still possess a conscience, a modicum of morality and decency. They know what they’re doing is wrong, but their politics appeal to the basest emotions and drives, among them, power, and power corrupts. Pursuing power, they’re becoming increasingly afraid of Donald Trump—of normal Americans—and desperate people do desperate things.

Why Michelle Obama is as Rotten a Choice for President as Hillary Clinton

Democrats are using identity politics again to test the waters for a ballot replacement for Joe Biden instead of finding a candidate with bona fide qualifications -- and integrity.

Michelle Obama is being touted a possible candidate who could beat Donald Trump.

She was recently publicized as an executive producer of a Netflix fiction movie, along with husband Barack. 

There was not much of the old Obama hopey-changey messaging in her anti-white Netflix endeavor, however, which left identity politics as her selling point with voters.

Per the academic definition, identity politics is a Marxist tactic of assigning utmost societal importance to a candidate’s empowerment of a collective, victimized group such as women, or minorities.

Anyone opposing the victim-candidate is immediately labeled as suppressing the entire representative group. For example, people who opposed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton were labeled as anti-women or misogynists, just as those who criticized Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 were called racist.

Identity politics has pulverized Dr. Martin Luther King’s Jr.’s dream of Americans judging others by the “content of their character instead of the color of their skin” in choosing a candidate.

Meanwhile, collectivism is a fundamental element of totalitarian ideology.

As a result, political candidate selection that should embrace American individualism and Dr. King’s character-content theory is now surpassed by identity politics.

But individualism and integrity as candidate-qualifiers have not worked out well for Democrats.

For example, in Hillary Clinton’s case, her entire 2016 campaign was dependent on identity politics and Democrats’ collective yearning to elevate women with a first woman president.

But, Clinton’s integrity was defined by such moments as being caught on tape nervously laughing about winning a case for a 41-year old rapist of a 12 year-old girl, and her soulless, exasperated, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” remark regarding her part in terrorists’ 2012 murders of a U.S. ambassador and three embassy employees in Benghazi, Libya shortly before President Obama's 2012 re-election.

Yet, Clinton had the opportunity for an unprecedented moment of integrity, that could have secured her future presidency, relevant to having endured many insufferable sexual misconducts (including dubious Jeffrey Epstein'd travels) by her philandering husband, Bill.

In that respect, Clinton was a genuine victim of wifely, mental abuse. She could have evidenced some feminist leadership by taking daughter Chelsea’s hand and proclaimed to the world, “We’re outta here, he’s a pig and women deserve better!" 

Unfortunately, that moment never came, and she mercilessly maligned the “other women” instead.

So she showed zero moments of integrity to voters and Clinton was ultimately deemed by them a rotten choice for president of the United States.

But what of identity politics, and the possibility of Michelle Obama running against Trump — a first Black-woman president -- but another Barack Obama silhouette?

Michelle Obama has somewhat similar qualifications to Hillary Clinton, having served as first lady, and her capacity to project the appeal of identity politics.

But like Hillary, Michelle had a disqualifying moment that reflected poorly on her integrity, dating from Inauguration Day in 2016.

It was about her treatment of incoming the first lady, Melania Trump.

Americans will recall, Melania clad in a Jacqueline Kennedy-esque Ralph Lauren light blue pastel coat dress and matching gloves, nervously carrying a light blue Tiffany gift box to graciously offer the departing Michelle Obama.

But, instead of graciously accepting the gift and making Melania feel at home, Michelle recounted her alleged famously ‘awkward’ moment on the Ellen DeGeneres show this way:

Shaking her head with feigned embarrassment, Michelle stated she was given the famous robin’s egg blue box by Melania, and claimed she had no idea what to do with it. In other words, she  attempted to construct the perception that Melania Trump had made the most unprecedented social gaffe in White House history.

To the delight of Trump-desping DeGeneres, Michelle complained: "So, I’m sort of like, 'O.K., what am I supposed to do with this gift?' and everyone (staff) cleared out and no one took this gift,” the former first lady added. With intuitive, Marxist finessing, Michelle painted herself as a victim of a traumatically awkward $1,000 sterling silver picture frame.

Moreover, this potential presidential candidate stated she felt helpless (by not a nuclear disaster, mind you) but by the utter shock of being handed a Tiffany gift box which required Barack’s vast political experience to rescue her from.

She confided to DeGeneres how thankful she was when her husband “saved the day” by taking the gift and (heroically) placing it inside the White House. Left-wing news platforms, only too happy to elicit hate against the Trumps, published dozens of headlines about Melania’s horrifically “awkward” gift.

In the video of the exchange, it doesn’t appear as though Michelle thanked Melania for the gift. She handed it off immediately and cast a flustered smirk into the camera, as if to say, “how weird is this?” The only explanation Obama offered for her boorish behavior was, “Well there is all this protocol. This is like a state visit so they tell you they’re going to stand here, and never before do you get this gift so I’m kind of like, ‘OK…What am I supposed to do with this gift?' ‘Never before,’ and ‘how awkward,’ was parroted for days in the halls of mainstream media.

But, in this defining moment of integrity, Michelle’s “protocol” story turned out to be a colossal lie, when the audience looks at the video of Michelle Obama giving outgoing first lady, Laura Bush, a similar gift on the exact same day: Inauguration Day in 2009, which brought the Obamas to the White House. Evidently, this is a tradition that Melania’s staff likely researched thoroughly, as opposed to any journalists reporting the stunningly awkward breaking news.

Then first lady Laura Bush, the epitome of Texas hospitality, had warmly thanked Michelle, and then simply positioned her gift box behind Barack’s back during the photo shoot as was normal social ‘protocol.’

What was Michelle’s defining moment hee-hawing with DeGeneres about the enormous “never been done before” lie rated?

What is this on the scale of presidential candidate choices? 

Seems pretty much rotten.

However, Michelle’s intriguing memory loss could potentially be balanced out by association with husband Barack’s defining moments of integrity.

For example, who could forget the heart-wrenching video when Joe Biden, in the throes of senility, was pictured wandering in a crowd, lost, disoriented when suddenly he was relieved by spotting the familiar face of Barack? 

This was an anguishing scene for anyone who has experienced the inner turmoil of dementia victims, and it was captured when Joe, snubbed by everyone swarming around him, fixated his eyes on someone he recognized and called out: 'Barack!' Painfully, Joe struggled through the unrecognized strangers in the crowd and when he did not get a response, he reached out and put his hand on Barack Obama’s shoulder, trying to get his attention and murmured a sentence... Barack...

But, Joe was icily ignored by the arrogant Obama, pompously working the room with more important people. Anyone who watched this pathetic video would identify the moment of disposable humanity oozing from the second gentleman in the White House if Michelle Obama were to be selected. How does this all measure up for a presidential candidate choice?  Rotten indeed.

The Eyes of Totalitarianism

It’s not your grandfather’s Democrat Party.

The iconic broadcaster, author, and legal scholar Mark Levin recently observed: “As a nation we’ve now turned the corner. We’ve turned the corner into a hard tyranny…. I just want the audience to know that we are staring into the face of tyranny, that the Democrat Party is a totalitarian party.”

And indeed, it is. To recognize this, we need only to listen when Democrats tell us – repeatedly – of their burning desire to “transform” the U.S. into a radicalized cesspool by such means as:

· ending the filibuster rule so they can forcibly ram their radical legislation through the Senate;

· governing via presidential executive orders rather than navigating the normal legislative process;

· promoting immigration and border policies designed to import massive blocs of foreigners who will eventually become reliable Democrat voters for generations to come;

· turning the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico into new U.S. states, thereby allowing Democrats to permanently pack the Senate with four additional members of their party;

· expanding the Supreme Court and packing it with newly appointed leftist ideologues;

· openly defying that same Supreme Court whenever its rulings conflict with Democrat Party preferences;

· forcibly censoring the free expression of any ideas that conflict with Democrat values; and

· pursuing the impeachment and imprisonment of their political foes on the flimsiest pretexts imaginable.

Below is an abundant collection of remarkable quotes by which immensely powerful Democrats in recent times have openly and proudly promoted the objectives enumerated above, like the domineering totalitarian thugs that they are.

Barack Obama (GAMER LAWYER)

During a campaign stop in Missouri five days before Election Day 2008, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama famously said, to thunderous applause: “Now, Mizzou, I just have two words for you tonight: Five days. Five days…. [W]e are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Three months earlier, when candidate Obama spoke in July 2008 to the open-borders group, National Council of La Raza, he stated that “together, we won’t just win an election; we will transform this nation.”

And a year before that, on July 17, 2007, candidate Obama spoke before the Planned Parenthood Action Fund to advocate for unfettered abortion rights and said: “I am absolutely convinced that we’re not just going to win an election, but more importantly we’re going to transform this nation.”

Indeed, nearly two decades earlier, in an interview published by the Daily Herald on March 3, 1990, Obama had candidly articulated his desire to “reshape America” and “be part of a transformation of this country.”

The Democratic Party’s 2016 Platform

In 2016, the Democratic Party’s official platform said that in an effort “to end institutional and systemic racism in our society … [w]e will push for a societal transformation.”

Joe Biden (GAMER LAWYER)

At a March 26, 2019 presidential campaign event in New York City, Joe Biden said: “We all have an obligation to do nothing less than change the culture in this country. This is English jurisprudential culture, a white man’s culture. It’s got to change.”

On April 13, 2020, Biden said “we can transform this nation … so that [my administration] goes down in history … as one of the most progressive administrations since Roosevelt.”

On May 4, 2020, Biden characterized the coronavirus pandemic as an “incredible opportunity … to fundamentally transform the country.”

In early June 2020, Biden stated that America needed to make “revolutionary institutional changes.”

On July 4, 2020, Biden pledged to “rip the roots of systemic racism out of this country” and “transform” it.

On July 13, 2020, Biden promised to make “systemic” and “institutional” changes to American society.

On October 29, 2020, Biden channeled Obama’s famous utterance from 12 years earlier and said: “Five days left [until Election Day]. Five days. I believe when you use your power, the power of the vote, we literally are going to change the course of this country for generations to come.”

Shortly after two mass shootings that had killed a combined total of 18 people in Colorado and Georgia, White House press secretary Jen Psaki announced on March 24, 2021 that President Biden was planning to issue executive orders to address the issue of gun violence, and was “not waiting for anything to fail” in Congress.

In a September 9, 2021 speech announcing new federal COVID vaccine mandates, Biden said: “And tonight, I’m calling on all governors to require vaccination for all teachers and staff…. Let me be blunt. My plan also takes on elected officials in states that are undermining [teachers] and these lifesaving actions. […]  If they’ll not help, if these governors won’t help us beat the pandemic, I’ll use my power as president to get them out of the way.”

On September 25, 2021, Biden said the following about the $1.9 trillion infrastructure bill that he was promoting: “My first piece of economic legislation will “fundamentally change the structure and the nature of the economy in this country.”

On October 4, 2021, Biden – citing the October 18 deadline by which time the Democrat-controlled Congress was seeking to raise the federal debt limit in order to allow for more government borrowing – condemned Senate Republicans for using the filibuster rule to block such a measure. “Republicans just have to let us do our job,” said Biden. “Just get out of the way. If you don’t want to help save the country, get out of the way so you don’t destroy it.”

On October 5, 2021, Biden said there was a “real possibility” that Senate Democrats might use their razor-thin majority to suspend the filibuster rule so they could forcibly raise the debt ceiling even with no Republican support at all.

During a June 30, 2022 press conference, Biden was asked what “specific actions” he might take in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. “I believe we have to codify Roe v. Wade in the law,” he said, “and the way to do that is to make sure Congress votes to do that. And if the filibuster gets in the way … we provide an exception for this, we require an exception to the filibuster for this action to deal with the Supreme Court decision.”

During a September 30, 2022 speech for Hispanic Heritage Month, Biden celebrated what he viewed as the political benefits of the mass migration – legal and illegal — of Mexicans and Central Americans into the United States. “When in American history has there been a circumstance where one ethnicity has the potential to have such a profound impact on the direction of a country?” he asked rhetorically. “Twenty-six percent of every child who’s in school today speaks Spanish — 26 percent,” Biden added.

Bernie Sanders

In October 2019, then-presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said in a tweet: “Our campaign is not only about changing the system politically and economically. We will change the value system of this country.”

In August 2020, Sanders, who by then had dropped out of the presidential race, said that “when Joe Biden is elected president, when we have a Democratic House, when we have a Democratic Senate, we can begin the process of transforming this government and our nation.”

Charles Schumer (GAMER LAWYER)

In a September 30, 2020 interview with MSNBC’s Joy Reid, then-Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer speculated about what he and his fellow Democrats could accomplish if they were to win both the White House and a majority in the U.S. Senate: “I’m not busting my chops to become majority leader to do very little or nothing, We are going to get a whole lot done. And as I’ve said, everything, everything is on the table.” He further elaborated: “I would — believe me, on D.C. and Puerto Rico … I’d love to make them states.”

On the afternoon of November 7, 2020 — shortly after America’s largest media networks announced that Joe Biden had won the Electoral College vote in the disputed 2020 presidential election — Schumer, raising a clenched left fist for emphasis, told a jubilant crowd of supporters in Brooklyn: “Now we take Georgia, and then we change the world! Now we take Georgia, and then we change America!” (This was a reference to the two upcoming Senate runoff elections slated for January 5, 2021 in Georgia. If the Democrats could win both, they would gain control of the U.S. Senate.)

In a January 30, 2021 interview with Al Sharpton on MSNBC’s Politics Nation, Schumer, who was now the Senate Majority Leader, re-emphasized his commitment to bringing transformational change to the United States: “Well, Rev, we have one goal: big, bold change in America” which would include “dealing with D.C. and Puerto Rican statehood.” He also articulated his desire to end the Senate filibuster rule, thereby empowering his party to ram its radical agenda down the throat of a deeply divided nation at a time when Democrats controlled both the House and Senate by the slimmest of margins.

At a March 16, 2021 press conference, Schumer spoke about the prospect of Democrats either dispensing with the Senate filibuster rule, or circumventing it by means of the budget reconciliation process (by which budget-related bills can pass with a simple majority and do not require 60 votes to overcome a filibuster). “[W]e must get bold change,” he said. “And if our Republican friends block it, we’re going to put our heads together and figure out the best way to go. Everything’s on the table. It’s plain and simple.”

· This was a stark contrast to what Schumer had said about the prospect of ending the filibuster in 2005, when Republicans held a solid majority in the Senate. SaidSchumer at that time: “The ideologues in the Senate want to turn what the Founding Fathers called ‘the cooling saucer of democracy’ into the rubber stamp of dictatorship. We will not let them. They want – because they can’t get their way on every judge – to change the rules in midstream, to wash away 200 years of history. They want to make this country into a banana republic, where if you don’t get your way, you change the rules…. It would be a doomsday for democracy if we do.”

· Schumer had similarly spoken out against ending the filibuster in April 2017, when he suggested that President Donald Trump should replace his Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch, with “a mainstream nominee” who would be able to garner 60 votes in the Senate — rather than allowing the majority Republicans to do away with the filibuster and confirm Gorsuch with a simple majority vote: “Look, when a nominee doesn’t get 60 votes, you shouldn’t change the rules, you should change the nominee.”

On October 4, 2021, Senator Schumer, who wished to be able to raise the federal debt ceiling without any Republican support whatsoever, said: “We only ask that they [the Republicans] get out of the way, let Democrats pass it on our own …”

Nancy Pelosi (INSIDE TRADER AND STOCK MANIPULATOR)

In September 2020, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declared: “We can impeach him [Trump] every day of the week for anything he does.”

On October 12, 2021, Pelosi lamented the fact that some Democrats wished to scale back their party’s ten-year, $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” spending bill. But she vowed that while the legislation’s price tag might be negotiated down, changes to the bill “only would be [made] in such a way that does not undermine the transformative nature of it.”

During an October 12, 2021 press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki discussed the ongoing negotiation between Democrat legislators vis-a-vis the $3.5 trillion “Build Back Better” bill that the Biden administration was hoping to pass. “The president wants to make fundamental change in our economy, and he feels coming out of the pandemic is exactly the time to do that,” she said.

Maxine Waters (BANKSTER BRIBES SUCKER)

At a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation event on September 21, 2017, Rep. Maxine Waters asserted that Congress could impeach President Trump for any reason it chose. “Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says it is,” she said. “There is no law that can dictate impeachment. What the Constitution says is high crimes and misdemeanors, and we define that.”

In a July 22, 2019 tweet, Waters predicted that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s appearance before Congress on July 24 would open the door for Democrats to impeach President Trump “immediately” and then incarcerate him. Wrote Waters: “Impeachment first, prison next!”

After the Supreme Court officially announced its decision to strike down Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022, Waters, flanked by fellow Congressional Democrat Al Green, joined a throng of pro-abortion activists outside the Supreme Court building and told reporters: “You ain’t seen nothing yet. Women are going to control their bodies no matter how they try and stop us. The hell with the Supreme Court. We will defy them!”

In a June 30, 2022 appearance on MSNBC’s Hallie Jackson Reports, Senator Ed Markey exhorted the Senate to eliminate the filibuster rule and pass “abortion rights” that would circumvent the recent Supreme Court decision and permanently enshrine Roe v. During a January 2, 2022 appearance on MSNBC’s The Sunday Show, Rep. Pramila Jayapal applauded Twitter for its decision to permanently ban the personal account of Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who, according to the social media giant, had been spreading “misinformation” about the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccines designed to combat it. “I think it’s just as well that we take one voice [Greene’s] that is deliberately spreading disinformation out of the mix as much as possible,” said Jayapal. “That’s certainly a good thing.”

On February 22, 2022, Rep. Ruben Gallego called for government and law-enforcement agencies to forcibly seize and then give away the vehicles of truck drivers who were heading to the District of Columbia in a peaceful convoy to protest the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates. “Perfect time to impound and give the trucks to small trucking companies looking to expand their business,” Gallego tweeted.

Conclusion

There you have it – the Democratic Party in all its totalitarian glory. Whatever obstacles its members may face, their instinctive response is always the same: iron-fisted thuggery.

If the Senate filibuster rule thwarts the Democrats’ legislative desires, they portray it as an antiquated relic of a racist epoch and demand that it be canceled.

If Democrats’ control of the U.S. Senate hangs precariously in the balance, they demand the sudden creation of a group of brand new majority-Democrat states that each will yield two new Democrat senators.

If Democrats are unable to cobble together electoral majorities in a few crucial swing states, they import massive blocs of people from across the globe who will eventually become reliable Democrat voters for generations to come.

If the radical-left Justices who sit on the Supreme Court are outnumbered by their originalist colleagues, Democrats seek to expand the Court and then pack it with newly appointed leftist ideologues to rubber-stamp every Democrat agenda item.

When that same Supreme Court issues rulings that conflict with Democratic Party preferences, the Democrats pledge with passionate zeal to defy those rulings.

If anyone dares to challenge Democrat positions on matters like the merits of critical race theory, COVID vaccine mandates, “gender-affirming” surgeries for minors, or claims that the 2020 presidential election was rife with Democrat corruption, Democrats respond by demanding that the most influential social-media platforms on Earth should censor and ban such heretics from the digital public square.

And, when challenged by a former Republican President who was highly effective at exposing and mocking the vapidity of various left-wing ideals and policies, the Democrats, in the longstanding tradition of fascists and communists from across the globe, simply call for his impeachment, arrest, and imprisonment.

Trouble in Paradise: Black Women Threaten to Boycott Biden

Campaign officials get 'earful' from core constituency, urged to offer XXXL clothing sizes to 'appeal to a diverse range of supporters'

What happened: Joe Biden's reelection campaign recently held a series of meetings with "influential Black women from around the country," during which the core Democratic constituency gave the president's team an "earful" and threatened to withhold their support for Biden absent "serious changes" to address their concerns.

What they said: "Black women who put [Biden] over the top in 2020 won’t turn out for him in 2024" unless his reelection campaign takes "immediate steps to engage Black women who feel disillusioned by the president's first term," Jasmine Wright of NOTUS reported on Monday.

• Members of the pivotal coalition demanded that Biden's team hire more "senior-level Black women" and deploy a more diverse array of campaign surrogates with "lived experience."

• "If they want Black women to really be on board, we need to see someone that mirrors us on that national level," Rev. Krista Alston, who co-organized a virtual meeting with Biden campaign staff, told NOTUS. "You've got to have representation."

• The group also suggested the Biden campaign spice up its "dull" merchandise offerings and offer clothing sizes larger than XXL in order to "appeal to a diverse range of supporters."

Why it matters: Biden is in trouble. The president's approval rating among black voters has dropped nearly 20 points since the start of 2023, according to an NBC News poll published in late November.

• Notably absent from the NOTUS report was any suggestion that black female leaders want Biden to step down after one term in order to elevate Vice President Kamala Harris, a mixed-race woman, to the top of the Democratic ticket.

Crucial context: Harris, one of the most widely despised vice presidents in American history, recently hired an anti-Biden gunslinger as her campaign communications director. Meanwhile, her stepdaughter Ella Emhoff has fomented anti-Semitism, and her husband Doug Emhoff has been ridiculed for inaccurate Hanukkah posts.

• One of America's most prominent black women, Michelle Obama, said she is "terrified" about the 2024 election, presumably because she doesn't think Biden has what it takes to win. The Obamas have consistently disparaged Biden's political talent.

• One of former president Donald Trump's most enthusiastic supporters, Rochelle "Silk" Richardson of the commentary duo Diamond and Silk, is a black woman. Her sister, Lynette "Diamond" Hardaway, passed away one year ago today. Rest in peace.

Report: Biden Campaign Failing to ‘Recruit Enough’ Black Surrogates

The Biden campaign is reportedly not reaching its black surrogate recruitment numbers, highlighting President Joe Biden’s sinking popularity among the historically important demographic for Democrats.

Biden’s previous statements and policies offended many black voters:

• “They are beyond the pale many of those people,” Biden said. “We have no choice but to take them out of society.”

• “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” he said.

• “I think the two-party system is good for the South and good for the Negro, good for the Black. Other than the fact that they still call me boy, I don’t think they’ve I think they’ve changed their mind a little bit,” he said.

Biden’s complicated history with black voters might not help his surrogate recruitment. According to Semafor’s Kadia Goba, Biden’s support among black voters is worrisome.

“Amid concerns that Biden’s message isn’t breaking through with the party’s bedrock base of Black voters, Democrats told Semafor that there were still too few effective messengers working to sell his record to skeptical voters,” he wrote Monday:

The party has struggled to replicate Obama-era turnout and margins with Black voters since 2016, and there are some signs in recent surveys that Biden risks a further erosion in support.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), a Biden ally who greatly aided Biden’s 2020 campaign with an endorsement, said many black voters are interested in America First policies, an issue he is “very concerned” about.

“My problem is, we have not been able to break through that MAGA wall in order to get to people exactly what this president has done,” he told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday.

The Biden campaign claims it treats the black community well and does not parachute into their lives when they need votes.

“Instead of parachuting into communities of color a few weeks before the election, our campaign is investing earlier and more aggressively than ever before, including with the largest and earliest investment in Black media by a re-election campaign beginning in August 2023,” Principal Deputy Campaign Manager Quentin Fulks told Semafor.

“We are meeting voters in every community where they are and putting in the work to earn every vote and let voters know how President Biden and Vice President Harris have delivered for them in an unprecedented way. The stakes are high for Black America, and we aren’t taking anything for granted,” he said.

Polling shows Biden’s support among black voters is down, recent New York Times polling shows:

• Only 72 percent of black voters support Biden
• Democrats lost ground among black voters in nearly every election in the last ten years.
• Biden is in a worse position among nonwhite voters since Walter Mondale in 1984.

"The Race" is currently leading a smear campaign against staunch immigration enforcement leaders and has called for TV and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves -- in addition to pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up their foes. The New York Times reported that current "Race" president Janet Murguia believes "hate speech" should "not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights."

3. "The Race" sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: "We don't want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don't need a White water fountain … ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction."

 Imagine if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Rashida Tlaib got to single-handedly veto sovereignty legislation dating back to the 1880s just like a president could veto a new bill passed by Congress this session. Imagine if they could unilaterally abolish ICE and declare open borders, except, unlike a president, they wouldn’t have to stand for re-election. Well, that is exactly the situation this week with a single federal judge. Thanks to Republicans agreeing to the notion that judges – even lower court judges – have direct veto power over legislation, a foundational immigration law has just been “vetoed.”

KCUR-FM reports that on Wednesday, Judge Carlos Murguia of the U.S. District Court of Kansas ruled, based on a Ninth Circuit opinion, that 8 U.S.C. §1324, the law prohibiting someone from “encouraging” or “inducing” illegal immigration, is an unconstitutional infringement upon the First Amendment. In doing so, Murguia vacated the convictions of two illegal aliens, Jose Felipe Hernandez-Calvillo and Mauro Papalotzi, who were convicted in August 2018 by a jury for conspiring to encourage illegal aliens to remain here through employment at a drywall company in Lawrence, Kansas. Four others were originally indicted by a grand jury in 2015.

 

This law has been on the books in some form for over 130 years, and numerous federal courts have upheld convictions based on §1324. Yet one judge, who worked for an open-borders group named El Centro Inc. and whose sister Janet Murguia is president of La Raza (now called UnidosUS), suddenly thinks conspiring to harbor and encourage illegal immigration violates the First Amendment. Carlos’ sister Mary (who is an identical twin to Janet) is a federal judge on the very Ninth Circuit Court from which he drew this opinion. Judge Mary Murguia once recused herself from a trial involving pro-enforcement Sheriff Joe Arpaio because of her sister’s leadership of La Raza. Carlos should have done the same thing this week in this case, which involves a law that directly conflicts with the work with the open-borders groups his family is associated with.

Rather than rule based on the law, he decided to adopt the ruling of the Ninth Circuit (which doesn’t have jurisdiction in Kansas), which ruled last December that §1324 is “unconstitutionally overbroad” because it “criminalizes a substantial amount of protected expression.” “The court adopts (the 9th Circuit’s) analysis in full and agrees that (the law) on its face is overbroad under the First Amendment,” said Murguia in a brief bench ruling first reported by KCUR-FM.

This assertion is ridiculous, because the law clearly refers to engaging in subversive and fraudulent activities to encourage or enable actual individual aliens to remain in the country, not mere political advocacy for liberal immigration policies in the abstract. It’s like saying that someone who hates high taxes or gun control laws and advocates against them is the same as a person who actively assists tax cheats and gun felons in achieving the end goal of the criminalized behavior.

The 1952 INA (8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)) calls for felony prosecution for anyone who “encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.” Subsection (V)(I) prohibits “any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts.” The two defendants in this case were convicted on both counts. This law passed the Senate unanimously!

The forerunners to this law were the Contract Labor Law of 1885 and the 1891 Immigration Act. The 1885 law made it unlawful to “in any way assist or encourage the importation or migration of any alien” for the purpose of contract labor. Section 3 of the 1891 Immigration Act made it a felony to “assist or encourage the importation or migration of any alien by promise of employment” through advertisements.

Other circuits have long recognized this law as completely legitimate. “Harboring, within the meaning of §1324, encompasses conduct tending substantially to facilitate an alien’s remaining in the United States illegally and to prevent government authorities from detecting his unlawful presence,” wrote the Second Circuit in 1999. “Such facilitation may be attempted through a wide range of conduct.” (United States v. Kim, 193 F.3d 567, 574 (2d Cir. 1999).) The Fifth Circuit has ruled that Congress intended for §1324 to “broadly proscribe any knowing or willful conduct fairly within any of these terms that tends to substantially facilitate an alien’s remaining in the U.S. illegally.”

So how could a single judge who has a family history of open-borders activism be allowed to veto such long-standing and universal laws? The answer is that he has no such power other than what the other branches are willing to cede him.

The concern here is that this will not only protect employers who knowingly help illegal aliens get around our immigration laws, but it will also essentially legalize sanctuary cities. Throughout the county, sanctuary cities are taking active steps to thwart immigration law. We would never tolerate this for other federal laws concerning American criminals. Why should illegal aliens have special privileges?

Rather than shirking from §1324 prosecutions, Trump’s DOJ should aggressively go after sanctuary cities, especially in areas where there are saner federal judges. A judge has no power to “strike down” or veto statutes he or she believes are overly broad. If there is a case that concerns pure speech or advocacy without any conspiracy or action taken to encourage illegal immigration, then it is within the prerogative of a judge not to convict the person. That is judicial power. But judges have no ability to say that the statute can’t be applied even when an action is involved because, in their view, the text of the law might rope in speech in other cases. To believe otherwise is to concoct an entirely new level of judicial veto that our Founders explicitly rejected. This is the difference between judicial review and judicial supremacy.

Finally, it’s important to remember that this is yet another example of judges attempting to fully nullify long-standing immigration law. Some on the Right believe that Congress needs to pass new laws in order to end illegal immigration. It’s simply not true. We don’t have a law problem; we have a judicial supremacy problem. The only question is whether the other branches will give this fake power full effect.

As Phyllis Schlafly reveals in this issue of Whistleblower: "This CFR document asserts that President Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin 'committed their governments' to this goal when they met at Bush's ranch and at Waco, Texas, on March 23, 2005. The three adopted the 'Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America' and assigned 'working groups' to fill in the details. It was at this same meeting, grandly called the North American Summit, that President Bush pinned the epithet 'vigilantes' on the volunteers guarding our border in Arizona."

The CFR report – important excerpts of which are published in Whistleblower – also suggests North American elitists begin getting together regularly, and presumably secretly, "to buttress North American relationships, along the lines of the Bilderberg or Wehrkunde conferences, organized to support transatlantic relations." The Bilderberg and Wehrkunde conferences are highly secret conclaves of the powerful. For decades, there have been suspicions that such meetings were used for plotting the course of world events and especially the centralization of global decision-making.

During Obama’s presidency, everyone joked that he selected Biden for VP because Biden’s incompetency insured that Obama would never be impeached. Yes, Obama was bad, but Biden would be worse. Background: “Born” in “Hawaii” in 1961, B. Hussein Obama moved with his mother at age six to Indonesia and ate dog meat. Apart from coddling terrorists, his signature foreign policy achievements include presiding over the death of an American ambassador in Benghazi and cozying up to the anti-American regimes in Iran and Cuba.

Claim(s) to shame: Generally speaking, Obama is a pathological narcissist who journalists lustily admired as president because he reminded them so much of themselves and satisfied their overwhelming desire to publicly demonstrate opposition to racism and other bad things. He resented the American people for constantly letting him down, and behaved as though the office of the presidency was beneath him. In March 2014, for example, Obama refused to let Russia’s impending annexation of Crimea spoil his vacation plans. “I needed this,” he told former NBA star Alonzo Mourning and other guests at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. “I needed the golf. I needed to laugh.”
