AMERICA'S BREAKDOWN IN LAW AND ORDER AND COMMON SENSE - Report: Three Louisiana Academy Store Workers Fired After Chasing Gun Thief

Here is the problem in a nutshell.  Most Democrat voters don't realize that leftist idealogues have hijacked the Democrat party, actively pushing traditional Democrat politicians out.  They don't yet understand that the Democrat party they knew doesn't exist anymore.  Almost all of the major news organizations work together to lie to Democrat voters and feed them misinformation constantly.  Corrupted government entities like the FBI and the DOJ, and the leftists running all social media, have worked together to censor and silence any dissenting voices.  The goal is to create a false reality in the eyes of Democrat voters and shield them from the truth.  This is vital to ensure their continued support on Election Day.                                                         IAN MacCONNELL

Report: Three Louisiana Academy Store Workers Fired After Chasing Gun Thief

Three workers at an Academy Sports + Outdoors store in Metairie, Louisiana, were reportedly fired for trying to stop a shoplifter who fled with a gun on December 16.

Michelle Sutton, who was a team lead, and two of her fellow employees were showing a customer a pistol when the incident happened, Fox Business reported Friday.

However, the man ran off with the gun which left the store’s workers in disbelief. When someone informed Sutton what happened via her radio, the young woman said she “took off,” adding she knew she needed a way to help police officers.

The trio searched for the suspected thief but were unsuccessful in locating the man.

Store policy apparently does not allow workers to chase or physically restrain someone suspected of theft who is running from the scene.

“Even though me and the other associate did stay on the sidewalk it fell under we left the front porch, as they call it,” Sutton told WGNO.

However, loss prevention workers or managers may detain a suspect who fled the store. Those individuals are told to approach the suspect at a distance and also request that they reenter the building.

“No clarification on getting like location for, you know, police,” Sutton commented. She hopes to be reinstated at her job but wants policy regarding such incidents to be made cleared for the future.

In July 2018, the manager of a Tallahassee, Florida, Academy store was fired after he subdued an individual who allegedly tried to steal a handgun, Breitbart News reported at the time.

The outlet noted that local law enforcement indicated the suspect had stolen two guns from Cash America Pawn a few hours before he went into the Academy store.

More recently, a grocery store employee in Centennial, Colorado, was fired for catching three men on video as they stole $500 worth of items from a King Soopers store, Breitbart News reported in July.

In yet another similar incident, an injured 68-year-old Lowe’s worker in Rincon, Georgia, who was fired for chasing shoplifters was offered her job back in July.

While speaking of the initial incident, Donna Hansbrough said, “They say that if you see somebody stealing something out the door, not to pursue, not to go out. I lost it.”

“I grabbed the cart. I don’t actually remember going out but I did. And I grabbed the cart that had the stolen items in it,” she added.

Leader of Missouri Veteran Program Allegedly Stole over $36K to Pay Debts

A Missouri man who is the vice president of a nonprofit that assists veterans allegedly embezzled over $36,000.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 42-year-old Brett Aaron Leary is vice president of the Gateway Warrior Foundation, an organization that helps provide service dogs to military veterans. He was charged in St. Louis County Circuit Court on one felony count of stealing.

Service dogs “can be trained to perform and variety of tasks, and their work helps individuals with disabilities and impairments lead more fulfilling and independent lives,” according to DAV.org.

“He tried to repay the organization, but his $36,000 check bounced,” the Post-Dispatch said.

The nonprofit has since said its board of directors reported the theft to law enforcement not long after it learned of the situation. Now, it is cooperating with officials investigating the case. The leaders also said they will continue assisting the nation’s veterans.

The Gateway Warrior Foundation’s website says it is “Helping veterans in need.” In March, the organization urged people to register for its 14th annual golf classic at a country club scheduled for October.

The Post-Dispatch article continued:

Soon after Leary became vice president, the foundation closed its previous bank account and opened a new one with Leary as the account’s sole administrator, according to charging documents. As part of the move, Leary was given a debit card and checks for the bank account.

Months later, the foundation’s treasurer requested bank statements and saw that Leary had written multiple checks to himself totaling “several thousand dollars,” without listing a reason for the expenses, according to charging documents. The treasurer was not named in the probable cause statement.

Leary eventually told the board members he took the money from the organization to pay off loans and credit card debt. He tried to pay back the money, however, the bank he used denied it because he did not have sufficient funds, the Post-Dispatch report said.

In March 2016, a woman was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for embezzling more than $141,000 in benefits from the nation’s veterans, Breitbart News reported at the time.

“Cornelia V. Hurling was sentenced by Senior United States District Judge David A. Ezra in San Antonio after she pleaded guilty to the felony of misappropriation by a Veterans Affairs fiduciary. Hurling was a resident of San Antonio,” the outlet stated.

AREN'T PEOPLE GETTING SICK OF BLACK ASSAULTS ON MINORITIES? A LOOK AT AMOS BROWN'S CONDUCT. SO GHETTO TYPICAL!

San Francisco goes full Mao, forces Asian-American rapper to issue groveling apology for criticizing mayor

Didn't Mao celebrate his 130th birthday this week?

That certainly seems to be what they were celebrating in San Francisco, where political goons aligned with Mayor London Breed forced an Asian-American rapper to apologize, in the most grovelly struggle-session way possible, for creating a rap video critical of Mayor Breed, on whose watch the city has turned into a dump. It was as if the Red Guards had marched in.

According to local KRON:

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A civil rights advocate in San Francisco is being accused of threatening San Francisco small business owner Andy “Chino” Yang.

Yang claims Rev. Amos Brown, the president of the San Francisco NAACP, made threats against his business and family. In an Instagram post on Saturday, Yang, along with the organization ‘Asian Justice Movement’ (AJM), claims Brown came to Yang’s business, demanding he apologize for a rap video that blames Mayor London Breed for a rise in crime in recent years.

Yang and AJM issued a statement on Saturday, specifically calling out Brown, writing in part:

We are particularly concerned with the actions by Rev. Brown, purporting to represent the NAACP, which actions have had the impact of pitting the Asian and Black communities against one another. Our communities share a common history of fighting prejudice and hatred. We are stronger when we stand together.

Yang and the group are now demanding an apology from the reverend.

What was this -- political muscle, Red Guards, marching in on Yang, and holding a struggle-session with him? Brown is a powerful longtime fixture in San Francisco politics, closely aligned with Willie Brown and his political machine, and now has the title of local NAACP chief. For him to go over to Yang in his place of work over a rap video seems ... beneath him, but does tell us that the powers that be felt that this was important. Yang would have known how powerful and politically connected the famous reverend was.

Yang's grovelly, self-criticism apology, and eew, it's bad, can be viewed on Instagram here.

Yang's political group, Asian-Americans for Justice, gave a more graphic account of what really happened, as compared to the bland KRON report:

The rap that upset them is below, and I agree with the person tweeting that nobody'd care about this thing had city hall not made such a big deal about it.

I'd be more curious about how an Asian-American managed to do such a good imitation of a black rapper, how many of those rap videos did he have to watch to get all the moves and gestures and inflections down pat and why he spent so much time on it. The political criticism was pretty much a nothingburger, nothing we haven't heard from anyone else in that miserable, badly managed city. I would not have even noticed it.

They take their rap very seriously over in those halls of power in the city by the bay which tells us more than we would have liked to know about them.

More to the point, the musclings tell us a lot about how that city works and why it's starting to decline like Detroit amid all its poop maps, fleeing residents, bums taking over, rampant drug dealing, shoplifting, absent police, and out-of-control crime. Brown, as of now, has refused to apologize, and according to KRON, he said Yang was to blame, as he should have told the good reverend that he was feeling threatened.

Only his subjective feeling, see. Sound believable?

There obviously is a corrupt political machine there that is watching everyone, particularly Asian-Americans, who have demonstrated their own political strength with the booting of far-left district attorney Chesa Boudin more than a year ago.

Now that this ruling political machine has gotten its apology, it has only roused the Asian political organizations even more with this disgusting attempt to play Red Guard on a hapless Asian-American. The Asians, if they've ever had any experience in China, are going to recognize this pattern. Odds are, the wannabe Red Guards will now awaken a sleeping giant.

Asian-Americans are flexing their political power these days in San Francisco, and this was obviously an effort to shut them down. It's ethnic politics of the same kind we saw in Los Angeles, when the Latino machine was caught on tape badmouthing the black political machine over there and a couple of them lost their jobs for it.

This should serve as a wake up call to anyone not paying attention that their tactics are ugly and they mean to force everyone in that city into line, no criticism allowed, despite the abundance of things to criticize.

As for this disgusting political machine that won't apologize, there is likely no way out from this exposure, and in a non-Biden world, they'd be good candidates for a DoJ civil rights violations investigation. It may take an election to get it and get them out of there. What a nasty business.

6 Men Arrested After Committing 70 Crimes Targeting Asian Women

From top left, Anthony Michael Robinson, 24, of Stockton, Cameron Alonzo Moody, 27, of East Palo Alto, Derje Damond Blanks, 23, of San Jose, and, from bottom left, Hassani Burleson Ramsey, 24, of Oakland, Clarence Jackson, 21, of East Palo Alto, and Malik Short, 21, of Tracy, were arrested in …
San Jose Police

Six men were arrested after working together on over 70 crimes targeting Asian women in California’s Bay Area, according to Santa Clara County authorities.

The six men allegedly committed more than 70 robberies, thefts, and burglaries against Asian women between October 2020 and September 2021. Santa Clara County’s District Attorney’s Office charged the six men with hate crime enhancements after the suspects targeted Asian women and used “ethnic slurs against Asians.”

Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen said:

I decided to charge this also as a hate crime for a few reasons. Number one, it adds additional time in custody, which is appropriate for a case of this magnitude. Number two, I recognize that a hate crime doesn’t only affect the individuals involved… it also affects the people in the Asian American community who were not targeted in that it makes them fearful that they may be next.

San Jose Police Captain Brian Shab revealed that three suspects are in custody. The other three were released. One of the men faces a maximum sentence of 95 years in prison.

One man, who is suspected to be involved in over 30 robberies and thefts, was arrested in August on suspicion of felony robbery and misdemeanor vandalism.

Three of the suspects were arrested and charged with hate crimes in September. Then, in November, authorities made the final arrests after witnesses the last two suspects commit robberies.

Mercury News reported:

Ethnic slurs were allegedly used against some of the women by the three men and officials said the suspects followed the women to their cars in parking lots and waited until they were inside before opening the door or breaking a window to snatch a purse from their passenger seat.

“There is no doubt that these suspects believed they could prey on these victims because of their ethnicity and because of their gender,” Shab said. “They believed that they were going to be easy targets and that they were carrying large sums of cash.”

Black Who Attacked Asian In SF Gets Chesa Boudin's "Restorative Justice" Instead Of, You Know, Justice

See, earlier: New San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin Promises to Stop Gang Enhancements to Protect "Criminals of Color"

Just as predicted, we are rapidly moving to a future where black people will not be arrested for their violent crimes.

SF DA withdraws charges in attack on elderly man, chooses ‘restorative justice’ model instead, KTVU.com, March 3, 2020

The San Francisco District Attorney withdrew charges on Monday against one of two suspects in a widely publicized attack on a Chinese man who had been collecting recyclables in San Francisco’s Bayview district.

Chesa Boudin first told the Chronicle that his office will pursue a “restorative justice” model against 20-year-old Dwayne Grayson, who was arrested last week on suspicion of robbery, elder abuse, a hate crime charge and probation violation following the attack on Feb. 22.

San Francisco police said Grayson recorded the attack and posted it to social media. The second suspect, Jonathan Amerson, 56, turned himself in on Sunday, and was booked on charges of robbery and elder abuse.

Boudin charged Grayson with elder abuse but decided to change his mind after talking with the elderly man, DA spokesman Alex Bastian, told the Chronicle. Boudin did not make mention of changing his charging decision in Amerson’s case.

If restorative justice does not work, the district attorney’s office told the Chronicle Boudin will still have the option to file criminal charges.

The elderly man has not been identified or spoken publicly about the ordeal. At the time, he had been collecting items on Oceola Lane when he was attacked for no apparent reason. Suspects are seen on video stealing from him, and one of them appears to try and strike the him with a weapon.

As onlookers filmed and taunted the man, someone in the background can be heard saying, “I hate Asians.”

No need to reinvent the wheel: All eyes should be on California in 2020, where criminal justice reform policies are being implemented at frightening pace, theoretical concepts preached in academia vanquishing law and order and promoted by those prepared to fight white privilege with woke policies geared to advance the lives of criminals of color!

One wonders if Asian Americans in San Francisco will tolerate this black attack on a member of their community, and the Bolshevik DA deciding “restorative justice” is a better punishment than jail.

What might “restorative justice” be? An alternative/inversion to the white man’s concept of law and order:

When District Attorney Boudin announced he would forego hate crime charges against one of the suspects in favor of restorative justice, people voiced their frustrations. Many are under the impression that restorative justice is just an excuse to let criminals off easy. In reality, restorative justice is a blanket term for a concept that has been practiced by indigenous communities for thousands of years. Rather than exercising retribution or punishment against their own, they would seek resolutions to repair the harm done to the victim, correct the behavior of the perpetrator, and heal any ruptures within the community. If facilitated under those same principles, restorative justice can still be effective in today’s society. San Francisco is the right place to start.

Restorative justice is not just a buzzword, it’s a real practice that’s shown real results. Professor Mary Louise Frampton conducted a five-year study of the Fresno County Juvenile Court’s restorative justice program, which operated as an alternative to incarceration for eligible offenders. Over several conferences with mediators, juvenile offenders would meet with their victims and work out agreements about how to best repair the harm done. The court reviewed the agreements and supervised their completion. The outcome has been remarkable, and other counties should take note.

We are in the late stages of the American experiment, where Bolsheviks have been elected to enact their anti-white agenda in the judicial system, though it remains to be seen if the Asian-American community will acquiesce in the face of injustice.

10 Hollywood Celebrities Who Fled California for a Better Life

The great California exodus continues, with a growing list of Hollywood celebrities leading the way as hundreds of thousands of people abandon the Golden State and its crushing problems to find a better life elsewhere.

California saw its third straight year of population decline in 2023, with the state’s population dropping 0.1 percent during the 12 months between June 2022 and June 2023. The number of people living in California dropped below 39 million this year, its lowest level since 2015, according to recently published U.S. Census estimates.

The state lost about half a million people between 2020 and 2022.

Among the problems driving people away are high taxes, soaring crime, out-of-control homelessness, and one-party Democrat rule — which seems to be making everything worse.

Other overwhelmingly blue states, including New York and Illinois, are also seeing population declines.

Meanwhile, red states like Florida and Texas continue to see surging population growth

The flight of wealthy people from California — in addition to celebrities, Silicon Valley types are also fleeing — has resulted in a projected record $68 billion deficit for the state in the coming fiscal year.

The Hollywood stars who’ve moved out of California each have their reasons — some personal, some political. But what unites them is that California no longer holds the allure it once did.

Mark Wahlberg

The Oscar-nominated star moved with his family to Nevada so that he could “give my kids a better life.”

“So, we came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lot of opportunity here,” Wahlberg said in an interview last year. “I’m really excited about the future.”

“A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble,” Wahlberg said in another past interview. “They’re pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family,” he said.

Sylvester Stallone

After decades living in Los Angeles, the Rocky star has moved with his family to Florida.

“It’s an incredible move, I have to say I’m really happy with our move and our change,” his wife Jennifer Flavin recently said.

Stallone revealed in his recent Netflix documentary Sly that the change of locale will hopefully inspire something creative in him.

“I wasn’t moving because ‘Oh, wow, I wanted another beautiful view.’ Any time changing that paradigm which you become used to, it’s literally to jump-start that process again,” he said.

Rod Stewart

The British rocker is selling his Los Angeles residence, saying he is fed up with the city’s “toxic culture.”

The 78-year-old star had initially listed his L.A. home for $70 million six months ago but upped the price to $80 million in his new listing. He plans to spend more time at his home in the U.K.

Sheryl Crow

The country music star said her decision to move from Los Angeles to Tennessee saved her life.

“I know how hard it is for especially young people — and I don’t know if anybody was pained by struggles like I did when I was young — but these are some tricky waters to navigate now,” she said earlier this year. “I’ll just tell you that, for me, getting out in nature really saved my life.”

Dean Cain

The Lois & Clark star quit California after decades, relocating to Nevada.

“I had to leave California. California has gone crazy in a sense,” he said. ” There’s been so much. Look at the taxation. Look at the regulations. Look at the silly laws that have been passed. There were things that I didn’t agree with, and I’ve been voting here and living here and working here my entire life. I finally got to a place where I was like, I don’t agree with this.”

Robert Davi

The Die Hard star (and director of My Son Hunter) left California for Florida.

“Dear Friends I quietly Moved to Florida 2 years ago,” the actor wrote in a recent X/Twitter post.

In his most recent article for Breitbart News, Davi praised GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy’s performance at the Republican primary debate in November, comparing his command of the stage to an expert knockout punch from Mike Tyson.

Kat von D

The celebrity fashionista and tattoo artist — who recently embraced Christianity — has bid farewell to California, moving to a small town in Indiana.

“Goodbye California!” she wrote in an Instagram post two years ago. “After much thought, we have decided we will permanently be moving to Indiana at the end of this year. We plan on selling our beautiful home here, and I will most likely open a private studio in Indiana once we are done with the house remodel there”

James Van Der Beek

The Dawson’s Creek star said goodbye to California, moving his family to Texas nearly three years ago.

As Breitbart News reported, the actor recently ripped the Democratic National Committee for backing President Joe Biden without allowing his challengers Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson to debate him on television.

“How is this a democracy?” he said in a social media video post.

Sean Patrick Flanery

The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles actor also moved to Texas after years in California.

Speaking earlier this year in an interview with Breitbart News’ editor-in-chief Alex Marlow, he said he credits “traditional family values” — including hard work and meritocratic achievement — for the success he has experienced in his professional and personal life.

He said moving from California to Texas brought numerous benefits, including being closer to extended family members.

“I always wanted that for my kids,” he said. “We were thinking about going back and forth but we never actually did. We sold everything and our only regret was why didn’t we do it sooner?”

Nikki Sixx

The Mötley Crüe bassist says he and his family moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, in 2020. “I wake up and I’m like, ‘I can’t think of a place I’d rather be,’’ he exclaimed.

The rocker said that the area’s outdoor activities like skiing and fishing make it a wonderful place to live, while his former home of Los Angeles is fine for the occasional visit.

“[During the pandemic] my journey took me back to a place where I can go fishing and see the mountains,” he remarked. “And then one day, my wife was like, ‘Why are we still here in California? This is a better place to raise our daughter.’ We find ourselves coming down to Los Angeles to see friends. But then we are happy to go back home. And we spend 95% of our time in Wyoming. It’s home.”
