Trump Demolishes Biden for Lying About Senate Immigration Plan: ‘It Would Have Exacerbated the Problem’
PALM BEACH, Florida — Former President Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee for president in 2024, lit up his general election opponent Democrat President Joe Biden in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News for lies Biden told during the State of the Union about the bipartisan Senate immigration plan scuttled earlier in 2024.
“It would have exacerbated the problem,” Trump told Breitbart News of the Biden-backed bipartisan Senate immigration plan. “It would have made it worse. And they allowed five thousand people a day. Those are numbers nobody’s ever heard of.”
Trump is exactly correct in that the plan would have codified the entry of thousands of migrants a day into the country, as Breitbart News has extensively reported the plain letter text of the plan shows. Part of why Biden has leaned into this message, though, is that as he is reeling from his immigration policy mistakes as president, he has sought to shift blame and responsibility for the crisis — which has seen millions upon millions of migrant entries that otherwise would not have happened — to Congress and Trump and away from himself ahead of the upcoming November election. During his State of the Union address, Biden lied to the nation by claiming that the Senate deal, negotiated by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) and others, would have helped the border crisis.

In the speech, Biden said that the bill would have helped address the problems he created with the more than 60 executive actions he took as president to open the border up.
“In November, my team began serious negotiations with a bipartisan group of senators. The result was a bipartisan bill with the toughest set of border security reforms we’ve ever seen in this country,” Biden said during the speech. When Republicans in the chamber booed Biden loudly, he testily shouted back at them, “Oh, you don’t think so? Oh, you don’t like that bill, huh? That conservatives got together and said was a good bill? I’ll be darned, that’s amazing.”
After rattling off several of the details in the bill — like how it would provide for more staffing and more machines and equipment at the border, but again, the bill had no substantive policy changes away from Biden’s open border vision — the Democrat president then lit into Trump by claiming he blocked the bill for political reasons.
“I’m told my predecessor called members of Congress and the Senate to demand they block the bill,” Biden said, adding that he believes Trump “viewed it would be a political win for me and a political loser for him.”
“It’s not about him. It’s not about me,” Biden said in the address.

Trump, when asked to respond to this claim from Biden, told Breitbart News that it was yet another lie. Trump then pointed to the House-passed HR2 border security bill as legislation that actually would help solve the problem and questioned why Biden and his Democrat allies in the Senate did not support that bill if they actually cared about solving the problem rather than just trying to shift blame off themselves for causing the disaster.
“No, we want to save our country,” Trump told Breitbart News. “This bill would have made it more complicated. It actually would have made things they are doing illegally legal. Now, the Congress [the House] passed a bill [HR2] that’s a good bill, but they wouldn’t go for it. It was actually a bill that was meant to work.”
Trump also said he believes that Lankford, the GOP senator from Oklahoma who was the public face of these negotiations that Senate GOP leader Mitch McConnell used to try to generate a vessel to pass more Ukraine aid, hurt himself politically by taking part in this.
“Lankford has really hurt himself, I think — five thousand people a day?” Trump said. “You can’t let five thousand people a day. Five thousand people a day—that’s a lot of people. It’s crazy.”

“He is the worst president in the history of our country, and he is the worst border president in the history of our country,” Trump said. “We had the best border in our history three years ago. If he did nothing — if he just went to the beach — we’d be better off. I say it all the time. Our border was getting better all the time. Nobody was coming because it was too tough to get in. If he did nothing and just left those people in place and left those policies in place…He got rid of Remain in Mexico. Who would do that? Remain in Mexico was incredible. It wasn’t easy to get either. Mexico didn’t want it. But he got rid of Remain in Mexico. I’ve never seen a thing like that before. It was so powerful. Title 42 — everything. Letting sick people come into our country. These are people with diseases that could take over our whole nation.”

Sen. Roger Marshall: Democrats Want Open Border to ‘Build Their Census’
Democrats want an open border to “build their census,” Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily, detailing the fight between Republicans and Democrats on the issue of border security.
Democrats in the Senate this week rejected the Laken Riley Act, and the White House has rejected it as well, urging Republicans to instead get on board with the highly flawed Senate immigration bill.

C-SPANWhen asked by host Mike Slater why Democrats are opposing these legitimate efforts to secure the border and export criminal illegal aliens out of the country, Marshall said Democrats are actually trying to “build their census.”
“It is absolutely to build their census, so they can have more people,” he explained. “So when they do the census, the amount of government resources that are resources that go to your district is based upon that census, and they’re gonna be voting illegally.”
“And you know, so they help to grow their electoral college as well. California and New York are hemorrhaging people — people that are leaving because they’re tired of the violence. So they’re trying to backfill that so they keep the number of congressional seats, which adds to their electoral college,” he said, concluding that it is absolutely “politically motivated.”

Further, Marshall said Democrats create crises and then think the government can solve them. But then, their solution actually causes more problems.
“Now the mayor of New York, Chicago are feeling the pain,” he said, explaining that they are now requesting monetary aid.
“It’s not going to solve the violence problems. To your point, the folks that came in from Venezuela, a lot of those are not good people. It’s a violent society. If you’ve ever been there, you understand just how violent that society is. These got-aways, 2 million got-aways in this country — there’s a reason they didn’t go through the regular process,” he added.

Illegal immigrants have not and will not be entering America with a platinum healthcare insurance plan. All will be without healthcare coverage. Yes, that equals millions of illegal immigrants. So, they will have Uncle Sam as their healthcare provider – we call it Medicaid (healthcare for the indigent). And it costs us billions.
Are there any Americans who would agree to pay more taxes in order to pay for the influx of illegal immigrants? Well, we cannot continue to put it on Uncle Sam’s credit card either.
For the sake of our nation, Republicans must hold the line, fund our government but do not provide foreign assistance for those protecting their borders until Biden takes one, if not all, of following three steps to secure America’s border:
1. Use executive orders to secure our border
2. Return to the border security policies that were working under the prior administration
3. Use the military to protect and secure our border
The Republican Senate leadership’s failure and now House Speaker Mike Johnson’s wavering, could give President Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer a lifeline. House Republicans, led by Speaker Johnson, negotiated, and got absolutely nothing.
They are poised to cave on forcing Biden to protect our border with Mexico, giving Biden and Schumer a total victory for funding the security needs of other countries. With one finger in the air, Biden and Schumer said accept our crappy border deal from the Senate or get nothing. Yes, it is the proverbial “take it or leave it” diplomacy.
Last year the growth of Medicaid was three times the rate of inflation – nearly 10%. It currently stands at a cost of $800 billion and at its current rate will soon eclipse $1 trillion.
We already have to borrow $1.75 every time we buy that $6.20 coffee. We simply do not have the money, Mr. Biden – but you already know that.
Our top money man Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell has stated that the course we are on financially is unsustainable. Maybe we should listen to him.
Individually, our nation’s financial plight has rippling negative effects – high interest rates being one of the biggest ripples. For instance, due partially to high interest rates, home foreclosures are up, business and personal bankruptcies are up 16.8%, and credit card debt is at an all-time high, a whopping $1.02 trillion. These are all facts not widely reported by our liberal media.
So why would Biden and the Democrats push America more rapidly toward the financial cliff? Paramount for them is winning elections.
But Democrats have a problem with this. They have not won the white vote in over 50 years. Yes, they have lost the white vote in every single presidential election since Lyndon Johnson.
So their “Plan B” is to let the mess happen at the Mexican border. They want the flow of illegal immigrants to swell into the millions, knowing that these immigrants will eventually be included in the census and vote. That’s sad.
The cat is out of the bag, however.
That is the reason the Democrats “recruit” new voters so the party can create a clearer path to victory in the decades to come. But do not call these folks “illegals”!
Democrats are offended when their ploy is revealed. They are also offended when people come to America in a non-legal way and are referred to as “illegal immigrants.” They are immigrants and they are crossing into America with no regard for our laws. That is the definition of an illegal immigrant.
The not-so-secret Democrat model and plan goes like this… Abraham Lincoln freed the slaves and won for the Republicans a near unanimous vote of Black people for decades thereafter. Biden and the Democrats wrongfully believed that Hispanics would do the same thanks to the party’s strong support of immigrants. But this is not happening, however.
Why not? Well, having 400 years of slavery for Black people, freedom in America trumps merely wanting a new job in America for Hispanic people. Loyalty to the liberator of the slaves creates a unique bond.
Regarding elections, flipping Texas would make it nearly impossible for Republicans to win at the electoral college level in the future. Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico could also fall permanently in the Democrat column.
Thanks to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s approach of sending illegal immigrants to Democrat states, the likelihood decreases for the Democrats to gain politically. It was a brilliant move by Abbott. History may show that he played a key role in saving the nation.
Biden, the stubborn, octogenarian, and 50-year political pro, is willing to risk the wellbeing of millions of people around the world in order to keep the water flowing, the flow of illegal immigrants moving across our southern border. He has refused to lift a finger – despite the U.S. Constitution which clearly states that “the United States must protect each state from an invasion.” Don’t forget the Democrats would say, “It depends on the meaning of ‘invasion’?”
In polls, a vast majority of Americans feel it is an invasion. Illegal immigrants are being weaponized to bring down America financially. The numbers of invaders and Biden’s inaction are historic.
To end the invasion, suffice it to say: “Where there is a will, there's a way.” The problem for the Democrats is that there is no “will” to do so. Their policy is tragic and financially costly for America, but it may win votes for Democrats into the future.

How Many Millions of Illegal Aliens in the Country Does the Democrat Party Need to Destroy America?
I entered duty with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1995, back when there were only 5,000 people (Agents and support personnel) in all of the USBP. I was the Director of the Aircraft Maintenance Facility in Del Rio, Texas in the Del Rio Border Patrol Sector
My guys maintained Piper Super Cubs and Aerospatiale A-Star AS-350 helicopters for our cadre of pilots. Back then, the Chief Pilot and I collected daily Air Operations performance data. The pilots annotated (after flight) on their flight logs how many aerial-assisted apprehensions (APPs) they performed as well as the number of GOT AWAYs pilots counted from the air. Such as, Border Patrol Agents performing flying duties would detect and follow tracks in the desert, (called “cutting sign”) and when those tracks stopped or disappeared, such as at a paved road where a groups of illegal aliens were picked up, those tracks left in the desert were counted as GOT AWAYs.
The Chief Patrol Agent of Air Operations at El Paso collected the data from each of the ten Border Patrol Sectors’ Air Operations and published the data as “Measures of Performance” as required by the Government Accountability Office. Monthly and annual reports went to Congress, the Chief of the Border Patrol, the I&NS Commissioner, and because the Border Patrol was part of the DOJ at the time, the Attorney General.
