JOE BIDEN - NO! NO! NO! - IT'S ABOUT GETTING MY ILLEGALS INTO VOTING BOOTHS SO THEY WILL VOTE FOR MORE AND THAT MEANS GLOBALIST DEMOCRAT

Biden's latest executive order is his most frightening yet

The Democrats who now control Washington, D.C. are determined to change America's election laws to ensure that they never lose another election.  The first salvo in this battle was the House's vote passing H.R. 1, which opens federal elections to all types of fraud and manipulation.  On Sunday, Joe Biden added his bit to the effort by signing yet another executive order, this one ostensibly to enhance "voting rights" on the anniversary of the Selma protests in 1965.  However, the order is drafted to allow the federal government to control political speech.

As with most of Biden's initiatives, it frames the power-grab in terms of race (emphasis mine):

The right to vote is the foundation of American democracy.  Free and fair elections that reflect the will of the American people must be protected and defended. But many Americans, especially people of color, confront significant obstacles to exercising that fundamental right. These obstacles include difficulties with voter registration, lack of election information, and barriers to access at polling places.  For generations, Black voters and other voters of color have faced discriminatory policies and other obstacles that disproportionally affect their communities.

Once again, the leftist premise for increasing opportunities for election fraud is the theory that Blacks lack the mental capacity to navigate the American system without the Democrat party at their side, supporting them.  It's an amazingly offensive position, but, sadly, Democrats have conditioned Blacks for decades to believe in their own helplessness.

Having established the premise — Blacks are helpless — the edict sets out the solutions: making it easy to register to vote, vote by mail, and cast ballots; making online access to information easier; distributing voter registration and vote-by-mail forms; and helping people fill out the forms.  The more worrisome one requires "soliciting and facilitating approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations and State officials to provide voter registration services on agency premises."

Color me unduly cynical, but I have a feeling that all the "approved, nonpartisan third-party organizations" are going to look remarkably like ACORN or the Southern Poverty Law Center.  I heartily encourage conservatives to create "nonpartisan third-party organizations" and to get in line for approval.  I suspect, though, that the process will be as hard for them as it was for Tea Party groups in 2012 to get the IRS to approve of them as non-profits.

The scariest thing about the executive order is its emphasis on "information."  Through the document, the order empowers the federal government to control information:

"Agencies shall consider ways to expand citizens' opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process."

The agency is to consider "ways to provide relevant information in the course of activities or services that directly engage with the public — including through ... social media platforms[.]"

For Native Americans, the order establishes a "Steering Group to facilitate the sharing of information and best practices, as appropriate and consistent with applicable law[.]"

That may sound innocuous, but it ceases to do so if you double back to the policy statement in Section 2 (emphasis added):

It is the responsibility of the Federal Government to expand access to, and education about, voter registration and election information, and to combat misinformation, in order to enable all eligible Americans to participate in our democracy.

There's the magic phrase that says what all this emphasis on information is really about: the federal government will use its reach and power "to combat misinformation."

And what is "misinformation" in the Democrats' new political lexicon?  It's anything with which the Democrats disagree.  The federal government, through Biden, has just announced that it will put its thumb on the scale in all future elections, combatting "misinformation" by presenting its version of "information."

What Biden is proposing is unconstitutional, as is the case with many of his executive orders.  They are often straightforward announcements that he will no longer abide by American law, especially regarding our southern border.  Biden and his handlers are confident that the Supreme Court is so cowed by the court-packing threat that it will do nothing to slow the Democrats as they slowly, but surely, run the Constitution through a shredder.

Biden’s Border Brouhaha is Just the Start

I tell you what really frosts me about the Biden administration. It is that, one way or another, I am going to have to pay for its terminal stupidity. And I ain’t responsible.

Illegal immigration? Wow, who could have foreseen that the illegals would be swarming the border? Surely the Biden people are in touch with the activist groups that are distributing Biden Let Me In t-shirts. And, by the way, we military history readers know that armies of migrants heading across Central America for the U.S. border don’t feed themselves. They aren’t feeding themselves “off the land” as armies from Xenophon’s Ten Thousand to Sherman’s “bummers” have done down the ages. Someone is organizing the feeding of these people, and someone is paying for it. I wonder who? Oh, so now Biden wants help from the Mexican president.

Oh, I get it. Somehow, somewhere, some Activist Second Class called Clarence needs to get his activist wings on the open-border front. But whatabout the current People of Color citizens? Do not you activists -- “allies” every one -- care that the unskilled migrants you bring into the country are competing with historically marginalized oppressed peoples for jobs? And that they lower the wage level, and that if you raise the minimum wage it will just distort the labor market more and make everyone from the white working class on down more despairing?

Whatabout the Democrats’ $1.9 trillion stimulus bill? Just this week I read how Warren Buffett’s index of stock market valuation to GDP is at an all-time high. Golly, Chuck and Nancy, what could go wrong with cranking up the debt some more? Remember when Sen. Everett Dirksen (R-IL) did not apparently say “a billion here, a billion there, pretty soon you are talking about real money.” Forget billions: now it’s trillions!

Oh, I get it. All over the country there are Democratic voters and special interests and blue states that are owed their loot and plunder. Vikings gotta go a-viking. Only this time, I predict, we won’t just get a painfully slow recovery from the Crash of 2008, but something worse. In your Trump hatred you Dems may not remember, but the economy was showing signs of overheating back in 2019, with a reverse yield curve developing in early March. Then, in September 2019, Trump jawboned the Fed into lowering interest rates and it was Katy bar the door once COVID was announced.

Oh, and house prices are now 37.6 percent above their April 2007 peak and have basically spent the last year rocketing into the stratosphere. Freddie Mac’s 30-year fixed rate mortgage index has jumped from 2.73  percent to 3.04 percent just in the last three weeks. Golly, Secretary Yellen at the Treasury, what could go wrong?

Inflation? Stagflation? Oh, the Places You’ll Go!

And when things do go wrong, Fed chief Jerome Powell, are you ready? Have you reread Walter Bagehot’s Lombard Street this month and reminded yourself that “lender of last resort” means Lender of Last Resort and you don’t shy at the second fence like apprentice jockey Little Ben Bernanke did in 2008?

But let’s stop talking about me, a well-provided-for OK Boomer. Whatabout the rest of the country?

Do you Dems not understand that unlimited immigration hurts the undereducated and underskilled PoCs the most?

Do you Dems not understand that the minimum wage prices undereducated and underskilled PoCs onto the unemployment line?

Do you Dems not understand that social insurance taxes combined with a hands-off attitude towards illegal migrant labor hurts the PoCs, because legal employees have to pay payroll taxes and their employers have to pay a variety of taxes from unemployment to workers’ comp., and the off-the-books employers and employees do not?

Do you Dems not understand that the subsidization of home mortgages that continues today despite the lesson of 2008 puts money in the pocket of OK Boomers like me and screws the young’uns and the PoCs to the wall? And if you do not understand that, then why not?

And do you Dems not understand that the subsidization of college tuition with student loans puts money in the pocket of educated-class elites and digs it out of the pockets of middle-income youngsters and their middle-income parents.

And do you Dems not understand that wokery like “decolonizing math” means that white Beckys go buy homeschool math books for their children and PoC children get screwed?

I’m halfway through Jordan B. Peterson’s new book Beyond Order, and he writes that on the book tour for 12 Rules one subject made the audience really go quiet and pay attention: Responsibility.

I wonder whether our liberal friends will accept responsibility as things start to go wrong: border chaos today, and maybe “stagflation” by 2022.

Because “responsibility” seems to resonate with people in America.

President Joe Biden struggled to name of his Defense Secretary, Lloyd Austin, during an event marking International Women’s Day at the White House on Monday.

Biden spoke at a White House event highlighting his nomination of two women General Officers for positions as four-star Combatant Commanders — Air Force Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost and Army Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson.

“So I want to thank you both, and I want to thank the sec… the former general, I keep calling him general but my… my, uh… the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden said as he wrapped up his speech.

Austin served as a general in the Army and was nominated by Biden to be the first black Secretary of Defense.

Biden concluded, “I want to make sure we thank the secretary for all he’s done to try to implement what we just talked about.”

Austin, who was present for the event, spoke about Biden’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’s celebration of the historic nominations.

“Both of you lead by example, and the example that you set in all things is one of inclusiveness,” Austin said, praising Biden and Harris. “You know that diversity of our nation makes us stronger, and that diversity in our military ranks makes us better at defending the American people.”

Brain Freeze: Joe Biden Struggles While Touting His $1.9 Trillion Spending Plan

President Joe Biden suffered another brain freeze Saturday, trailing off and appearing to re-read a line from his remarks on a spending bill.

The candidate who received the most votes ever for president was touting the “American Rescue Plan,” the $1.9 trillion coronavirus spending bill passed by the Senate over the weekend.

“The vast majority of economists — left, right, and center — from Wall Street to the, to the, private e—, private, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, economic, uh, uh, polling, uh, initiatives,” Biden stammered.

“The economists, as I said, left, right, and center,” he continued, rereading his speech.

Last week, Biden appeared to have an unscripted moment when he asked for questions after speaking to members of the House Democrat caucus.

“I’m happy to take questions if that’s what I’m supposed to do, Nance, whatever you want me to do,” a seemingly uncertain Biden said to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

The president appeared to look off-camera for direction before his image was replaced with a graphic of the White House. His final comment was deleted from the video of the event posted to the White House YouTube page.

Breitbart News reported Biden has not held a solo press conference in the 45+ days he has been president, breaking a 100-year record.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki claimed Biden would hold one “before the end of the month.”

THE BIDEN KLEPTOCRACY

American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now. TOM FITTON - JUDICIAL WATCH

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer said he reads President Biden’s statements about his son Hunter’s deals as a declaration that “it’s going to be business as usual in the Biden administration as far as these deals are concerned.”

Schweizer said, “Joe Biden has said there are going to be no sketchy overseas deals during his second term. Here’s the problem: He does not believe that the early deals that Hunter was involved in, the China deal, Burisma, he’s never described those as sketchy. So, I read that as saying, it’s going to be business as usual in the Biden administration as far as these deals are concerned.”

Fitton: America Needs to Know the Truth About Biden Family’s Corruption

The Biden scandals didn’t disappear when Joe Biden entered the Oval Office, as I wrote in this op-ed for The Washington Times:

A president takes office amidst charges of family corruption and shady business dealings with a country connected to interfering in the very election that put him in the White House. Sound familiar?

The false narrative that Democrats concocted to hobble the Trump administration four years ago is now the real deal with Joe Biden and his family. And unlike President Trump, who faced unprecedented institutional resistance and Deep State resistance, President Biden can likely count on the Justice Department and the media to allow him to escape meaningful scrutiny.

Judicial Watch recently started a petition at Change.org asking the Department of Justice immediately to appoint a special counsel to investigate Biden family dealings in China, Ukraine and other countries. There is substantial evidence, from documents and witness statements, that the Biden family, including President Joe Biden, may have been involved in criminal activity with foreign entities tied to Ukraine and China. In just a few days the petition has garnered nearly 200,000 signatures.

Judicial Watch uncovered documents that show even as far back as the Obama administration Russia-linked media in Ukraine were “trolling” Joe Biden over “his son’s business.” Mr. Biden’s son Hunter has acknowledged that he is the target of an FBI criminal investigation. Any investigation should involve alleged money laundering, influence peddling and tax violations among other shady activities.

A special counsel is required because the Justice Department and its FBI are conflicted in investigating any matters that could implicate the president and/or his immediate family in criminal activity. As Republican Sen. Tom Cotton of Arkansas said recently, “if there were ever circumstances that create a conflict of interest and call for a special counsel, that’s here.” Justice Department regulations that were abused to appoint a special counsel to harass then-President Trump actually do fairly apply to the Biden situation. A special counsel is required by Justice regulations when:

(a) That investigation or prosecution of that person or matter by a United States Attorney’s Office or litigating Division of the Department of Justice would present a conflict of interest for the Department or other extraordinary circumstances; and

(b) That under the circumstances, it would be in the public interest to appoint an outside Special Counsel to assume responsibility for the matter.

The matter is urgent. Americans just learned that communist China was actively involved in the 2020 presidential election. Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, in a letter transmitted to Congress, concluded that “based on all available sources of intelligence, with definitions consistently applied, and reached independent of political considerations or undue pressure — that the People’s Republic of China sought to influence the 2020 U.S. federal elections.”

Chinese efforts to interfere in the 2020 election might have been better known before election days but for Deep State resistance. Intelligence Community Ombudsman Barry Zulauf found that CIA analysts were reluctant to reveal China’s malign actions because they were opposed to the Trump administration, and were “saying in effect, I don’t want our intelligence used to support those policies.” In fact, “strong efforts” were made last summer to suppress analysts who wanted to expose the full range of Chinese efforts to swing the election to Mr. Biden.

We are already seeing China indirectly benefitting from Biden policies. Cancelling the Keystone XL pipeline will divert Canadian oil west to the petroleum-hungry People’s Republic. Re-entering the Paris Climate Agreement gives political cover to China’s excessively polluting dirty coal industry, in which Hunter Biden is heavily invested. Mr. Biden’s State Department on Day One removed a page on its web site that contained a comprehensive assessment of the threats China poses to the U.S. and its allies, and an emboldened Beijing slapped outrageous sanctions on outgoing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and 27 other former Trump officials. Does China have corrupt leverage over President Biden?

Given the years of investigations costing millions of dollars to delve into fake Russia collusion accusations against Trump world, the American people deserve to know what China was up to with Joe Biden, especially when Beijing had already shelled out millions of dollars to Biden family members — including millions in set-asides for “the big guy.” What else is on that infamous Hunter Biden laptop? The conflicted Biden Justice Department cannot be trusted to engage in any meaningful oversight on this issue. We need a special counsel now.
