Fauci spends millions on “excruciating” experiments with rhesus monkeys.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) headed by Dr. Anthony Fauci since 1984, conducts “excruciating experiments” on rhesus monkeys at NIH labs in Bethesda, Maryland.
“In many of these experiments, Fauci and staff intentionally withhold pain relief, even though these are some of the most excruciating experiments in the federal government,” John Goodman of the White Coat Waste Project (WCWP) told the Epoch Times.
According to a federal database, of the $13.5 million HHS spent to breed and maintain the monkeys, NIAID paid $8.9 million. Goodman told the Times it was “very unlikely that Fauci didn’t know about this given the amount of money involved and the fact that these experiments are happening in his own laboratories.”
A NIAID mouthpiece told the Times the monkeys are used “for research that helps develop life-saving preventions and treatments for diseases affecting public health.” No actual life-saving preventions and treatments from the excruciating research were mentioned. WCWP advisor Dr. Stacy Lopresti-Goodman told the Times, “primate experimentation is a cruel and notoriously unreliable way to develop drugs and treatments for humans, and it doesn’t deserve taxpayers’ support.”
The WCWP also revealed that NIAID shipped part of a $375,800 grant to a lab in Tunisia to drug beagles and lock their heads in mesh cages filled with sand flies. The dogs were subjected to a “chordectomy,” the removal of their vocal cords, so their barking would not disturb the researchers. The revelation sparked a letter from 24 members of Congress, Republicans and Democrats alike, denouncing the wanton cruelty and waste of taxpayer dollars.
As the Washington Post reported, “NIAID was initially listed as a funder on the study in a paper in a scientific journal in late July,” but researchers had “erroneously listed” NIAID and “the medical journal corrected the error.” Outgoing NIH boss Francis Collins defended Fauci, proclaiming “Truth is supposed to be truth and the fact that your truth would be so heavily modified by your social circle or where you get your news tells you we’re in real trouble.” Truth is, the doctor came up short on facts.
If NIAID did not fund the experiments, Robert Spencer wondered, “why was it listed as doing so in the first place? Was the NIAID removed from the list of funders only when the experiments started to receive unwelcome media attention?” Both the monkey and beagle experiments bear similarities to NIH and NIAID spending on gain-of-function research, which makes viruses more lethal and transmissible to human beings.
“Neither NIH nor NIAID have ever approved any grant that would have supported ‘gain-of-function’ research on coronaviruses that would have increased their transmissibility or lethality for humans,” claimed Collins in a May 19 statement. In October, weeks after Collins announced his resignation, the NIH admitted funding a “limited experiment” to test if bat coronaviruses were “capable of binding” to a human receptor.
Fauci’s NIAID funded the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Communist China, where gain-of-function research could be conducted in secret, with no accountability. The WIV also received a shipment of deadly pathogens from a lab in Canada, courtesy of Chinese scientist Dr. Xiangguo Qiu. As Israeli microbiologist Dr. Dany Shoham noted, Dr. Qiu worked closely with four institutions, including the WIV, connected to China’s biological weapons development.
In early 2017, Fauci proclaimed there was “no doubt” that president Donald Trump would be confronted with a surprise infectious disease outbreak. In early 2020, Fauci praised China’s handling of the pandemic and in the early going opposed President Trump’s ban on travel from China. Fauci contended that the COVID virus developed naturally in the wild, a view not derived from a replicated scientific study. When CDC director Robert Redfield found evidence the virus was engineered and leaked from a lab, he got death threats.
Anthony Fauci earned a medical degree in 1966 but his bio shows no advanced degrees in molecular biology or biochemistry. According to Nobel laureate Kary Mullis, inventor of the polymerase chain reaction, Fauci “doesn’t understand electronic microscopy and he doesn’t understand medicine. He should not be in a position like he’s in.” But he is.
Fauci has been a government bureaucrat since 1968, wielding enormous power without ever having to face the voters. The white coat supremacist commands a budget of more than $6 billion, and to gain budget increases the incentive is to spend all of it, as in the beagle and monkey experiments.
Despite the evasions that prompted Angelo Codevilla to brand him a “deep state fraud,” Fauci claims those who criticize him are actually attacking science itself. That smacks of megalomania, but there’s more to it. Fauci is most responsible for shutting down the economy but his statements of sympathy for embattled Americans are hard to find. If the people think Fauci is a white coat sadist, and call him out in the same terms they use for Joe Biden, it would be hard to blame them.
In defense of Fauci, Dr. Collins told the Washington Post he wants to “identify those who are purposefully spreading false information online and bring them to justice.” In effect, the NIH boss wants to slap a chordectomy on critics of himself and Dr. Fauci, who both lied about funding gain-of-function research at the WIV.
Fauci and Collins should be investigated but it’s hard to see that happening under the Biden Junta. While justice awaits, some realities should be clear. White coat supremacists are dismissive of the people’s constitutional rights, adverse to accountability, and insensitive to suffering in animals and human beings alike.
Cotton: ‘Fauci Should Be Investigated for Lying to Congress’
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) called on National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci to be investigated for lying to Congress in his denial that his agency funded gain-of-function research during testimony earlier this year during an appearance on FNC’s “The Ingraham Angle” on Monday.
“Well, it’s just another example of the incompetence of the Biden administration. They think Tony Fauci remains a credible and impartial messenger about the Wuhan coronavirus,” he said. “I mean, you saw this weekend, he went out and became an open partisan attacking a sitting United States senator, who was democratically elected by the people as are the other 99 senators, as a nothing but a bureaucrat, who works for those people who democratically elected all 100 senators, attacking him in a partisan way.”
“This is not Tony Fauci changing or turning over a new leaf,” Cotton continued. “This is who he’s been from the very beginning. And it is a simple fact that he testified to Congress, by the way, that he did not fund through his agency gain-of-function research in the Wuhan labs, making the coronaviruses there more dangerous and more transmissible. Yet his agency has since acknowledged they, in fact, did fund that kind of gain-of-function research. Both those things can’t be true. Fauci should be investigated for lying to Congress.”
