Third party presidential candidate Cornel West claims that  the Democrat party is “beyond redemption,” accusing the party of being unable to “speak to the needs of poor and working people.”

The explosive commentary from West during an interview with the Hill TV’s Rising comes after Bernie Sanders endorsed President Joe Biden for a second term at Saint Anselm College’s New Hampshire Institute of Politics. According to Sanders, President Biden is America’s only hope for preserving democracy against the Republican party’s front-runner, former President Donald Trump.

“I think it’s a plausible argument,” West said. “I just don’t think it’s a persuasive one. I think that the argument he’s making means that there’s never any possibility for breaking the corporate duopoly, that there’s never any possibility of trying to speak to the needs of the poor working people.”

West mentioned that while on the campaign trail in Mississippi, he saw that officials are dealing with issues like police brutality and poverty that the Democrat party won’t address.

“They are dominated by the corporate wing, they’re dominated by the militarists when it comes to foreign policy, and that [Sanders] and AOC and the others are going to be, in a certain sense, window dressing at worst, and at best, people to appeal to every four years,” West said. “But the Democratic Party is beyond redemption at this point, when it comes to seriously speaking to the needs of poor and working people.”

In earlier comments, West claimed that Sanders’ support for Biden was only in reaction to his “fear of … neo-fascism of Trump.”

Sanders said on CNN’s “State of the Union” the threat of America losing democracy was the most prevailing issue, the Hill reported

“You know, Donald Trump is not somebody who believes in democracy,” Sanders said. “Whether women are going to be able to continue to control their own bodies, whether we have social justice in America, we end bigotry — around that, I think, we have got to bring the entire progressive community to defeat Trump or whoever the Republican nominee will be.”

Republicans Set Deadline for Amendments to Halt Massive Foreign Worker Expansion as 44M Americans are Out of Workforce

House Republicans have set a deadline for when their Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill, which includes a massive foreign worker expansion, can be amended. If Republicans keep the expansion, it will come as more than 44 million Americans are out of the workforce.

Republicans on the House Appropriations Committee have included provisions in a year-end DHS funding bill that will hugely expand the number of foreign workers in the United States labor market just as annual data shows millions of Americans are struggling to reenter and stay in the workforce.

This week, the committee set a deadline of Sept. 6 for when lawmakers can file amendments to the funding bill. The Heritage Foundation has urged Republicans to strip the bill of the two provisions that would expand the inflow of foreign workers to the U.S.

“Such substantive changes to legal immigration programs should be debated and voted on in the authorizing committees, not snuck into an appropriations bill,” the Heritage Foundation’s Lora Ries and R.J. Hauman wrote in an analysis of the bill.

The $91.5 billion funding bill, as currently written, loosens H-2A visa rules so that more industries related to the agricultural sector could import foreign workers and rewrites the program so that jobs do not have to be seasonal or temporary.

Currently, the H-2A visa program allows U.S. farms to annually outsource an unlimited number of American agricultural jobs to foreign workers, who can extend their stay for up to three years.

As Breitbart News has chronicled for years, the H-2A visa program has been used to import cheaper foreign workers. Most recently, a farm in Washington reached a $3.4 million settlement for firing its mostly female farmworkers and replacing them with mostly male foreign H-2A visa workers.

The other provision expands the H-2B visa program, which currently allows U.S. employers to import about 66,000 foreign workers for seasonal non-agricultural jobs in industries like construction, landscaping, hospitality, and food services, among others.

By loosening annual cap rules, the funding bill would likely bring at least an additional 20,000 foreign H-2B visa workers to the U.S., who compete directly against working-class Americans for often high-paying blue-collar jobs.

Like the H-2A visa program, the H-2B visa program is fraught with abuse.

Such an expansion of foreign workers in the nation’s labor market would come even as recent research shows that there are 44.3 million American-born men and women from 16 to 64 years old who are not in the workforce at all — almost ten million more than the year 2000, when 34.4 million were not in the workforce — not including those counted as unemployed.

At the same time, foreign workers have seen their share of the labor market hit the highest level in almost 30 years at more than 18 percent, with close to 30 million now holding U.S. jobs.

PEOPLE ARE GETTING A LITTLE SICK AND TIRED OF WALL STREET JOE AND HIS CRONIES PLUNDERING THE COUNTRY. WE'RE GOING TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THIS TIME!

WSJ says ‘the world’ is fearful of another Trump presidency

How tragic that the Wall Street Journal went to the dark side.

In many cases, the WSJ is just like the WaPo and NYT. They don’t want Trump to win again so they run a front-page story like this saying that the “world” is dreading the thought of another Trump presidency. Of course, they don’t seem as worried about the corrupt, incompetent Joe Biden. The lede stated that a Trump win has “capitals across [the] globe on edge” — oh, so not the people, but the politicians. From the article:

For many foreign capitals, the possibility of a second Trump administration is a source of anxiety. Allies from Paris to Tokyo regard Trump as an erratic leader with little interest in cultivating long-term ties to counter Russian and Chinese expansionism.

Huh, I wonder if those “allies from Paris to Tokyo” are World Economic Forum “allies” Anne Hidalgo and Fumio Kishida? In fact, the article includes an image of Biden with South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and… Kishida.

The world was relatively peaceful under Trump, particularly the First World. What was erratic? The second sentence is pathetic. Trump was much tougher on Russia and China than Biden has ever been. The WSJ might as well have repeated the lie that Trump colluded with Russia.

Trump opened up drilling in the U.S. so we were energy independent. This kept energy prices and inflation low, and greatly financially impacted Russia.

Trump put sanctions on the Russian pipeline to Germany; Biden removed them.

Trump’s family didn’t take kickbacks from Russia, Ukraine, or China; Biden’s did.

Trump wanted the Wuhan lab investigated as the source of COVID. He was continually blocked by the media and deep state officials when they called it a disproven conspiracy.

Trump started a program to block Chinese spying in the U.S. then Biden shut it down.

Also from the article:

Others, including Beijing and Moscow, see potential benefits from Trump, whom they view as a transactional leader who might be willing to strike deals to ease tensions in hot spots such as Ukraine and Taiwan, according to analysts.

Same comments as above. Then, this:

Trump has also threatened to withdraw the U.S. from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, a move that his former national security adviser John Bolton recently described as a near certainty if he is elected again.

Trump didn’t withdraw from NATO though, he just told them to pay their obligations. He also told Germany it was nuts to rely on Russia for their energy needs. If these “journalists” care about threats, maybe they should look into Biden, who while dangling a billion dollars in front of Ukrainian officials stated,  “if the prosecutor’s not fired, you’re not getting the money.”

Will they ever learn? Furthermore:

This month, Iran moved four U.S. citizens from prison to house arrest, the first step in a hoped-for prisoner release agreement between Tehran and the Biden administration. Trump as president withdrew from the 2015 deal that placed limits on Iran’s nuclear program in return for lifting sanctions. He ratcheted up sanctions on Iran and criticized the release of frozen Iranian funds by the Obama administration

Securing the funds is now a key objective for Tehran, a visible signal to ordinary Iranians that the regime is seeking to improve the country’s troubled economy, said Alex Vatanka, director of the Iran program at the Middle East Institute, a nonpartisan think tank. 'They’re trying to get as many concessions as they can out of the Biden team,’ he said.

Isn’t it much better for the Middle East, the U.S., and the world, that Trump cut off funds to Iran, which is the world’s biggest sponsor of terrorism, and which continues to pledge death to America and Israel?

Trump gave the world the Abraham peace accords and finally kept the promise to move the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem. What has Biden done other than to cave to Iran?

The WSJ also continually preaches against Trump’s trade policies which essentially means America first. Is it wise to rely on China for so much of our stuff? Didn’t we learn from the supply chain problems from COVID? The WSJ and others said the tariffs would cause high inflation but inflation stayed low… until Biden took office.

Obama and Biden signed the worthless Paris climate accord, which will do nothing to change temperatures, sea levels, or storm activity but will lead to economic collapse. Why doesn’t Biden present it to Congress for ratification? China doesn’t have to abide by the restrictions, and it will benefit greatly because it controls so much of the world’s lithium and other rare-earth minerals. Anyone who believes China and India when they promise to start reducing their carbon footprint in 2030 should not be trusted to run our country.

Trump wisely pulled us out of the accord because he knows it is a worthless piece of paper.

Anyone who believes that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea will give up their gas-powered military equipment is naïve at best.

Anyone who believes that Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and other oil producing countries care about their carbon footprint, and will give up their lifeblood of oil should check to see if their brain has been extracted.

As far as Ukraine, shouldn’t we have some constraints, audits, anything on Zelensky instead of essentially having a wide open spigot of taxpayer money? Breitbart reported that Zelensky won’t hold elections “unless [the] U.S. and EU pay for them” — is this a joke? Weren’t we told the war in Ukraine was “crucial” because it was a “fight for democracy”?

ANOTHER ONE OF PIG GAMER LAWYERS GIFTS TO AMERICA:

Mexican cartels are behind the spike in organized retail crime and are deeply entrenched in every level of the process, according to the federal government's chief investigative agency.

Retailers nationwide sustained nearly $100 billion worth of losses in 2021, the highest year on record, according to the National Retail Federation report published in September 2022. The growing number of cartel-run theft rings around the country drove that figure up from $70 billion in 2019.

"Organized retail crime is leading to more brazen and more violent attacks in retail stores throughout the country. Many of the criminal rings orchestrating these thefts are also involved in other serious criminal activity such as human trafficking, narcotics trafficking, weapon trafficking, and more," said Steve Francis, acting executive associate director for Homeland Security Investigations, in a statement. HSI is part of the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

More from Joe Biden's open borders: Mexican cartels reportedly behind organized retail thefts

Is there anything on the mayhem front an open border can't do?

The latest news is that Mexico's cartels are behind the organized retail thefts that are shutting down the shopping centers of America.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Mexican cartels are behind the spike in organized retail crime and are deeply entrenched in every level of the process, according to the federal government's chief investigative agency.

Retailers nationwide sustained nearly $100 billion worth of losses in 2021, the highest year on record, according to the National Retail Federation report published in September 2022. The growing number of cartel-run theft rings around the country drove that figure up from $70 billion in 2019.

"Organized retail crime is leading to more brazen and more violent attacks in retail stores throughout the country. HSI is part of the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Just a few days ago in San Francisco, Nordstrom's shut its doors in the heart of the city's downtown after 35 years, citing massive organized theft attacks which have destroyed that establishment as a business.

And just yesterday in that same city, a beloved clerk at a small liquor store in San Francisco's Outer Richmond district died of his injuries in hospital after confronting a dirtbag participating in one of these massive retail theft attacks on even that small establishment, beating him to death with a baseball bat.

Your Mexican cartels at work.

There's no doubt that these parasites will consume every establishment whose goods they can get their hands on. Already, San Francisco is a wasteland of "for lease" signs as shop and restaurant pull out.

And let's not forget that homes and cars are also being raided.

The glittering malls of yesteryear are all long gone. It won't stop until they've got them all, and then San Franciscans can learn to live without retail shops and cafes and public spaces. Once they are gone, the insatiable monster will target its industrial-scale organized criminal muscle against homes.

This is why we can't have nice things.

Yes, the fact that California's voters have voted themselves in a law decriminalizing thefts under $1,000 is a major reason for this problem. And yes, dropping bail and defunding the police have added to it mightily.

But the Mexican cartels have been fattened considerably by Joe Biden's open borders. They've collected millions in "crossing fees" from illegal border crossers who somehow have that kind of money and gladly pay it, all because they know that if they can get across, they will be permitted to stay. Biden not only enables cartels by doing that, but by paying NGOs to carry on the rest of the work once done, paying cartel crossing fees, paying for migrants' rooom, board, transport, medical, educational and legal fees and anything else they might think they need for a worry-free entry into the U.S. illegally. All of that significantly benefits Mexico's cartels, where this activity profits them.

Since then, they have branched out. They aren't just importing foreign nationals from Mexico into the U.S. but from Central America, South America, the Caribbean and now Africa, Asia and the Middle East. They've spread population-killing quantities of fentanyl all through the U.S. where the death toll already is above 100,000. They've gone into human smuggling, slave labor, and child-sex slave smuggling rings depicted by the movie "Sound of Freedom." They've challenged Mexico's government, shutting down border cities with gunfire and taking over ports, prompting Mexico's government to militarize its society. They have also spread mayhem all the way down through the hemisphere, where in Ecuador, for instance, a major presidential candidate was assassinated for vowing to take on these very same cartels.

Now we learn that we are behind the organized retail thefts that are changing the face of America's cities -- leaving junkie-strewn hellholes and boarded up storefronts.

Very little of this, it must be noted, was going on before Joe Biden opened the border and allowed some two million foreign nationals in. It started happening afterward -- when the cartels started getting paid -- and started looking for new opportunities. California has certainly given them, but so has Joe Biden. Cartels are evil, but they are also smart, or they wouldn't be around.

There seem to be no limits for them in terms of opportunities brought on by Joe Biden's utter failure to enforce U.S. immigration law, leaving the border wide open.

The Biden administration has largely ignored efforts to get

native-born Americans back into the workforce, instead

THE GLOBALIST DEMOCRATS AND THE MEXICAN FASCIST PARTY OF LA RAZA / UNIDOUS

Who Really Benefits From Illegal Immigration? | Victor Davis Hanson

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyRb2xFplKM

So Elon Musk is getting sued by the DOJ for not hiring one of these?

Elon Musk is being sued by the Department of Justice for hiring too many Americans at his SpaceX spacecraft launch company in Texas.

It's an obvious harassment suit, given that Musk has other obligations based on government contracting structure to hire only American citizens and green card holders. He also has some pretty strong security concerns.

That didn't stop the Justice Department from pouring on the glurge, appealing to those tug-on-the-heartstrings emotions to whip up support against him:

Asylees and refugees have overcome many obstacles in their lives, and unlawful employment discrimination based on their citizenship status should not be one of them. Through this lawsuit we will hold SpaceX accountable for its illegal employment practices and seek relief that allows asylees and refugees to fairly compete for job opportunities and contribute their talents to SpaceX’s workforce.”

It was garbage, and always was. Now it comes to light that the U.S. has a rather big vetting problem with foreigners from terrorist nesting grounds it keeps letting in.

According to immigration expert Todd Bensman, writing for the New York Post:

A Pakistani doctor who got an H-1B temporary work visa to join the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., is going to federal prison for incubating a plot to kill fellow Hippocratic oath takers while “behind enemy lines,” as he wrote in an encrypted jihadist social-media channel.

Bensman went on to explain what the problem was:

The typically perfunctory media coverage of this latest Islamic-terror case evaded the civic obligation to explore broader homeland-security questions it naturally raises.

So this guy was an H1-B visa holder, he had a lot of fancy education, Bensman noted that a lot of them do, and he proved to be a problem.

Apparently nobody vetted him. Yet the government insists that it vets these people.

H1-B is a fancy and rarified visa category in a way that "refugee" and "asylee" is not.

The DOJ insists that it vets all its refugees, so Musk has no excuse not to hire them:

Asylees and refugees are migrants to the United States who have fled persecution. To obtain their status, they undergo thorough vetting by the United States government.

Biden's DOJ considers them no different and outright equal to American citizens who are getting all these SpaceX jobs, which DOJ claims they have less right to than "refugees":

Moreover, asylees’ and refugees’ permission to live and work in the United States does not expire, and they stand on equal footing with U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents under export control laws. Under these laws, companies like SpaceX can hire asylees and refugees for the same positions they would hire U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents. And once hired, asylees and refugees can access export-controlled information and materials without additional government approval, just like U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents.

But are refugees and asylees vetted any better than H1B visa holders?

Circumstantial evidence says 'no.'

Number one, they often come from hellhole countries where a public records request from a U.S. official is bound to be met with a horse laugh, if such records exist at all. Try vetting someone from a collapsed or failed state. Anybody checking their social media posts? Talking to their friends and relatives? These things can get expensive.

And there are hundreds of thousands of them being let in.

Two, we have experience. The tens of thousands of Afghan "refugees" admitted to the U.S. during the U.S.'s chaotic exit were largely migrant-aged young men who had pushed their way in front of women, the elderly, and children in order to get a spot on a U.S. evacuation plane out of that country during the U.S.'s chaotic pullout. On character grounds alone they should have been disqualified, but were any of the pushers sent back? No, they were released into the interior of the country, rewarded for trampling onto the bodies of those weaker. Many have been found now to be commiting crimes against U.S. nationals and should have never been let in. But ahh, they were "vetted." Who knows how many of them are terrorist sleepers?

Meanwhile, in more recent news, under Joe Biden's open borders with its catch-and-release, a group of ISIS-sponsored Uzbeks were reportedly let into the interior of the U.S. as "asylum seekrs" with all that vetting and the Biden administration has no idea what happened to them or where they are now.

All of these cases point to one thing: That U.S. government vetting, just like U.S. government mass money distribution, tends to be a failure, this is not something they are good at doing, and way too many bad guys getting in and getting away with something that should not be happening, all because the government lies that they were "vetted."

According to the DOJ, Musk is supposed to be hiring these people.

And not hiring them is "inhumane" even as doing that deprives an American of a job.

Maybe they should try to do their jobs first before insisting that Musk take on all the terrorists and criminals of the world's nastiest places at his elite spacecraft company.

Zuckerberg’s FWD.us Demands More TPS Amnesties for Illegal Migrants

Billionaire West Coast investors are pressuring the White House to provide legal rights to illegal migrants from Africa and South America.

The legal protections — dubbed Temporary Protected Status (TPS) — would help Democrat mayors sideline rising public opposition in Chicago, New York, Maine, and Boston — but would create more border migration problems for President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign.

“There is a concern that granting TPS to one nationality will spur others from that country to come here,” a former official told NBC on August 26. “The concern is that word will get out, even through misinformation, and others will think they too can work and live here.”

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas speaks about border security during a briefing at the White House on May 11, 2023, in Washington. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

TPS “makes illegal immigrants a more effective factor for chain migration,” said Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies. Once migrants successfully get TPS, their home country peers face more economic and social pressure to migrate to the United States instead of staying to develop their home country’s economy and society, he told Breitbart News, adding:

Even though certain individuals make more money [in the United States], it is truly disruptive in a way that is not helping these [home country] communities … I’m not sure anybody here cares about [the home-country damage], and I’m not sure anybody running those countries cares about it because they don’t live in those areas.

The president is allowed to provide the amnesty-like TPS status to migrants from a country facing wars and other disasters.

The temporary amnesty makes the migrants legal for 18 months and allows them to get a fast-track work permit. Presidents — including former President Donald Trump — usually extend the status. For example, President Joe Biden has expanded the TPS population to at least 1 million.

But the wealthy West Coast investors want more migrants, and they are pressuring the White House to begin, extend, or expand TPS status for many of the global economic migrants that Biden’s deputies have allowed into the United States.

The advocacy is conducted via Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us advocacy group. The group is seeking TPS for migrants from Nicaragua, GuatemalaVenezuela, CameroonMali, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

“The DRC is in of one of the deadliest armed conflicts since WW2 [and] Last year more than 6,000 people were killed and 2 million were displaced,” claimed Todd Schulte, president of FWD.us.

TPS does not cause migrants to join their successful peers in the United States, says a report touted by FWD.us:

Study after study shows that #TPS designations do not act as a pull factor for additional, irregular migration. In fact, obtaining work authorizations from TPS increases remittances to home countries, reducing incentives for additional people to migrate.

But in November 2021, FWD.us president Todd Schulte outlined his hope for more migration from Africa:

I think it is a very reasonable expectation for the future to say, 20 years from now, in the way that we’ve seen this huge increase in employment and immigration from India, [that] “You know over the last 20 years it is Nigeria where there’s a huge number of people coming — lots of English speakers, highly educated — there’s a growing population here now.”

In May, Eric Adams, New York City’s mayor, urged that migrants be given TPS so they could take jobs that would otherwise go to Americans:

We are calling on the White House, the United States Department of Homeland Security to ensure our newest Americans can work lawfully and build stable lives for themselves in our country. Our leaders in Washington must redesignate and extend Temporary Protected Status, also known as TPS. And we want to be included those from Venezuela, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Sudan, South Sudan, Cameroon and other nations. Given the continuing worsening humanitarian crisis in those countries, they are going to pursue the stability that our country has to offer.

WATCH — Biden Administration Continues Releasing Migrants in Texas Border Town:Randy Clark/Breitbart Texas

Breitbart News has closely covered the group’s campaigns to extract more human resources from Africa and South America for use in the U.S. economy. The group is very influential because of its ties to the Biden administration, the investors’ political donations, and its large network of investor-funded, pro-migration advocacy groups.

FWD.us was created by Facebook founder Zuckerberg who continues to fund the cheap-labor advocacy group via the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. The breadth of investors who founded and funded FWD.us was hidden from casual visitors to the group’s website in early 2021. But copies exist at the other sites.

The FWD.us network of coastal investors stands to gain from more government-delivered workersconsumers, and urban renters.

More migration means the investors “get more warm bodies in the United States …  More is never enough for them,” he added.

2019 study by the Utah-based Center for Growth and Opportunity reported that TPS approvals raise investors’ stock prices:

This study examines the stock prices of firms most likely to be affected by immigration immediately surrounding the signing of the Immigration Act of 1990 and the implementation of the 1999 Temporary Protected Status [rule for illegals from Nicaragua and Honduras] … Results show that, relative to the entire market, the stock prices of agricultural firms, construction firms, and manufacturing firms increase significantly during the period surrounding these two events.

The report also notes that prior migrants lose wages as more migrants are welcome, saying, “the wages of previous [in-place] immigrants are substantially (negatively) affected by the presence of new immigrant workers.”

Extraction Migration

The federal government has long operated an unpopular economic policy of Extraction Migration. This colonialism-like policy extracts vast amounts of human resources from needy countries, reduces beneficial trade, and uses the imported workers, renters, and consumers to grow Wall Street and the economy.

The migrant inflow has successfully forced down Americans’ wages and also boosted rents and housing prices. The inflow has also pushed many native-born Americans out of careers in a wide variety of business sectors and contributed to the rising death rate of poor Americans.

The lethal policy also sucks jobs and wealth from heartland states by subsidizing coastal investors with a flood of low-wage workers, high-occupancy renters, and government-aided consumers.

The population inflow also reduces the political clout of native-born Americans, because the population replacement allows elites and the establishment to divorce themselves from the needs and interests of ordinary Americans.

In many speeches, border chief Alejandro Mayorkas says he is building a mass migration system to deliver workers to wealthy employers and investors and “equity” to poor foreigners. The nation’s border laws are subordinate to elite opinion about “the values of our country” Mayorkas claims.

Migration — and especially, labor migration — is unpopular among swing voters. A 54 percent majority of Americans say Biden is allowing a southern border invasion, according to an August 2022 poll commissioned by the left-of-center National Public Radio (NPR). The 54 percent “invasion” majority included 76 percent of Republicans, 46 percent of independents, and even 40 percent of Democrats.

NY Gov. Kathy Hochul Begs Biden for Bailout: Americans Must Subsidize Housing, Healthcare for Illegal Aliens

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) is pleading with President Joe Biden to bail out the sanctuary state with American taxpayers footing the bill to provide border crossers and illegal aliens with jobs, subsidized housing, healthcare, and public transit.

As more than 100,000 border crossers and illegal aliens have arrived in New York since the spring of last year, Hochul is formally asking Biden to take a number of steps that would see American taxpayers — the majority of whom do not live in New York — pay for subsidized social services for the new arrivals.

“For over a year, I have called for federal assistance and support for New York as we manage the unprecedented number of asylum seekers arriving in our state,” Hochul said in a televised address on Thursday:

New York cannot continue to do this on its own. It is past time for President Biden to take action and provide New York with the aid needed to continue managing this ongoing crisis. [Emphasis added]

Specifically, Hochul is asking Biden to give work permits to border crossers and illegal aliens immediately after they are released into the United States interior.

In addition, Hochul wants billions in American taxpayer money to provide border crossers and illegal aliens in New York with healthcare services, housing vouchers, free public transportation, and additional English as a Second Language (ESL) services in the state’s public schools.

Hochul is also asking Biden to reimburse New York for the cost of deploying the National Guard.

“It is the federal government’s direct responsibility to manage and control of the nation’s borders,” Hochul wrote in the letter to Biden:

Without any capacity or responsibility to address the cause of the migrant influx, New Yorkers cannot then shoulder these costs. I cannot ask New Yorkers to pay for what is fundamentally a federal responsibility and I urge the federal government to take prompt and significant action today to meet its obligation to New York State. [Emphasis added]

Even as Hochul pitches Biden the billion-dollar bailout, she has championed mass immigration to New York for months — arguing it is a boon for business.
