CROOKED LAWYER JOE BIDEN - WE NEED TO GAME THE LAWS FOR OUR ILLEGALS! - THEY HAVE THE 'RIGHT' TO VOTE FOR WIDER OPEN BORDERS AND MORE WELFARE

Alejandro Mayorkas: A Portrait of the Intended Nominee for DHS Secretary

https://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2020/11/joe-biden-promises-employers-of-cheap.html

Will a Senate confirmation hearing recall troubling integrity scandals and heavy-handed re-direction on immigration law and fraud enforcement?

Feds: Plants that Hired Illegal Aliens Paid Unlawful Wages, Hired a Child…open borders…it’s all about keeping wages depressed and passing along the true cost to middle America

Former Vice President Joe Biden will nominate Alejandro Mayorkas to run the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), despite his role in creating huge Latin American migration and his involvement in several visas-for-sale scandals.

Joe Biden's pick to run the DHS immigration agency – Alejandro Mayorkas – is a political gift for the GOP, says Jessica Vaughan at CIS: "Cronyism, corruption, swampiness, and the immigration issue." https://t.co/859b16NhN4

The Biden plan is also wildly out of step with the opinions of most likely U.S. voters.

Mail-in ballot fraud -- in Mississippi, it's real

So much for the media's constant claims that mail-in vote fraud is rare.

In Mississippi, a judge found it to be real.

According to CBS-affiliated WCBI:

ABERDEEN, MISS. (WCBI) – A judge is ordering a new runoff election for the Ward 1 alderman seat in Aberdeen.

In the sixty-four-page order, Judge Jeff Weill not only calls for a new election but also finds evidence of fraud and criminal activity, in how absentee ballots were handled, how votes were counted, and the actions by some at the polling place.

In his ruling, the judge said that sixty-six of eighty-four absentee ballots cast in the June runoff were not valid and should never have been counted. Nicholas Holliday was declared the winner by a 37 vote margin. Robert Devaull challenged the results in court.

Judge Weill found many irregularities with absentee ballots. He issued a bench warrant for notary Dallas Jones, who notarized absentee ballots. During a hearing, Jones admitted violating notary duties.

According to a summary by left-leaning Politifact:

  • The election do-over involves the election for alderman in Aberdeen, Miss., population 5,326. A judge found irregularities in the paperwork for 66 of the 84 absentee ballots cast, or 78%. The race had been decided by 37 votes, 177-140.

  • The judge found “significant evidence of voter fraud” on the part of two people who notarized paperwork for absentee ballot applications. He ordered one of them arrested.

It's worth noting that every character here involved here is a Democrat, as this was a 2020 Democratic Party runoff. That it's just Democrats makes such stories harder to ignore. This isn't President Trump yelling fraud, this is Democrat-on-Democrat malfeasance, with a judge calling the whole show off, ordering a do-over.

Mail-in ballot fraud in fact is very real. Politifact is implicitly dismissing this story as of no importance because it happened in a town of 5,300 in northeastern Mississippi, where, a Google map shows, the nearest big "city" is Tupelo (of Elvis Presley and Bobbie Gentry song fame), and the town sits approximately halfway to Memphis, Jackson, Birmingham, Huntsville, and Montgomery, each around 150 miles away, making it an equi-distant crossroads of sorts.

But just because the town was small doesn't mean such things don't matter. Fraud could only occur in a small town and not a big city? That's nonsense. Big city machines led by Democrats are utterly famous for their corruption.

The Heritage Foundation has a database of all the 239 known cases of elections trashed by mail-in voting fraud since 1997. It's occurred in places like Texas, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Florida, Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, California.... The most recent case documented was in Paterson, New Jersey, again, for a local race. Now there's this.

It's also occurred abroad. Jimmy Carter, who runs the voter integrity oriented Carter Center, has condemned the practice as inimical to free and fair elections as recently as 2005, recognizing just enough cases to make that conclusion. (Jimmy Carter has since done a U-Turn, but it seems that was about 2020 politics).

In Europe, it's a practice banned by most countries, and in places where it's permitted, it requires special requests, as well as sometimes trips to the voting registrar for a voting packet, while all require the showing of national I.D. These aren't junk-mail elections where ballots are mailed out indiscriminately from un-updated and unpurged voter registration lists as is done in California, where many voters ending up with multiple ballots (I know one in Pasadena, Calif., and he showed me the evidence).

Scholar John Lott came out with a major report on how and why the practice is generally banned in Europe based on its threat to free and fair elections.

Separately, the Swedish IDEA institute also came out with a report warning of mail-in voting election problems.

The evidence is massive. Yet everywhere in the press, all you read is that ballot fraud coming from mail-in voting is "very rare."

Why would it be rare? An unattended mailbox is the same as an unattended ballot box. With nobody looking, which election fraudster wouldn't see his opportunity? The incentive is there, and that's just one kind of incentive -- the Mississippi case shows that there are others. The idea that a Democrat wouldn't dream of doing such a thing is contradicted by the evidence. And yes, there are some bad Republicans, too. The name of the game, after all, is to win power.

What's different here is that there was a judge who was willing to do something about it. An election do-over (after a hopeless ballot pile of votes that are completely tainted) is the most humane and practical solution. It's sad that with the most recent Supreme Court rejection of a credible 2020 case from Pennsylvania, the judge from the small town in Mississippi has a fairer and more realistic understanding of how the law works than most of the over-vaunted justices from the highest court in the land.

The Supreme Court disgraced itself on a Dred Scott level with its miserable failure to take a case they might have to rule on as the Mississippi judge did. They are cowards. And if it's court packing they fear from Democrats, maybe it's time they fear such things from Republicans, too.

Exclusive– Indiana AG Todd Rokita: H.R. 1 Kills Voter ID Laws, Sends Ballots to Dead People, Allows Ballot Harvesters to Hand in Fraudulent Votes After Elections

ATLANTA, GA - NOVEMBER 04: Election workers count Fulton County ballots at State Farm Arena on November 4, 2020 in Atlanta, Georgia. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita told Breitbart News on Friday that H.R. 1, if enacted as law, would prohibit voter ID laws nationwide while automatically sending ballots to all persons on poorly maintained voter rolls.

“[H.R. 1]  basically codifies everything that was irregular or outright wrong or the opportunities for fraud during last year’s election and makes it the law of the land,” Rokita said in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “It takes out the balance between integrity and accountability and access to polling places.”

LISTEN:

Rokita explained, “H.R. 1 makes photo ID illegal in the United States. Meanwhile, it mails out live ballots to everyone on the voting list — alive or dead — and it makes it much more difficult for states to take dead people off the voting rolls, to take people who moved away off of voting rolls.”

Rokita noted that H.R. 1, named the For the People Act, would also nationalize legalize ballot harvesting and extend voting deadlines for ten days after an election.

“[H.R. 1] says you can still turn in that mailed-out ballot — or your ballot harvester can, the third party that’s going around collecting them — up to ten days after the election. So if you get a close election, you can still have harvesters out there collecting — possibly, likely — fraudulent ballots and turning them in because you really don’t have to do anything, and you have to accept these ballots.”

Marlow assessed, “There’s no sane Western country that does this, is there?”

Rokita replied, “There’s no same third-world country that does this. Everywhere you go in the world, a photo ID is required [to vote]. Everywhere you go in the world, it’s by vast majority in-person voting because that’s how you really can help maintain one-person-one-vote because the person actually appears before you. We’ve had reasonable exceptions in this country, like if you’re invalid, you can’t get to a polling place, [or] even if you planned to be outside the jurisdiction on the election day, you can attest to that fact and get an absentee ballot.”

“Mail-in balloting is where the most fraud occurs, and now they’ve thrown out those thin guard rails,” Rokita added. He highlighted the Constitution’s decentralized framework for national elections.

“The one thing that you can count on and why our Constitution is so brilliant is that it preserves that one-person-one-vote, at least to the states, the idea of how they’re going to do the time, manner, and place of an election, not some central government,” Rokita remarked.

Rokita concluded, “If the people don’t think and don’t have reasonable confidence backed by facts and observation that they still are in power — that they have the power through the electoral process to put in place who they want — then this country is lost.”

Rokita joined 19 other state attorneys general in a letter to congressional leaders laying out “constitutional vulnerabilities” within H.R. 1.

AP’s Pace: Biden Has No Border Plan — Migrants Think They Have An Open Invitation

2:01

Associated Press Washington Bureau chief Julie Pace argued on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that President Joe Biden did not have a plan for the surge underway on the U.S.-Mexico border.

Based on that, Pace said migrants think they have an open invitation.

Anchor Chris Wallace said, “The Department of Homeland Security put out a report this week, it wasn’t put out to the public, but it was leaked that they are now projecting 117,000 unaccompanied minors that are going to cross the border this year. Way over what we thought was a very serious surge in 2019. Is that sustainable for the Biden White House to say, well, it’s not a crisis, it’s a challenge, we are managing it, and more importantly, do they really have a plan to get this under control?”

Pace said, “They don’t have a plan at the moment to get this under control. We do have the White House is dispatching some officials to the border to try to see the situation firsthand. Right now, they’re caught in this situation where they are saying that the policy steps we’ve seen Biden take on migration essentially rolling back a lot of the Trump administration’s deterrence policies should not be read by migrants as an open invitation. Do not mass at the border. This does not mean you can get across easily, but for all of their talk about that, all the messaging on that, that is not the message that is actually being received by migrants.”

“So you do have this situation where people are increasingly coming to the border, families with young children do feel like this is a moment where they can get into the United States,” she continued. “They feel like that’s going to be a more receptive policy from the Biden administration. So this is the challenge that the White House has. If they don’t think that their policy actually is an open invitation, then they have to signal that more clearly because that is obviously not the way it is being interpreted at the moment.”

NBC’s Alcindor: Biden Admin Says No Crisis At the Border — ‘But the Numbers Don’t Lie’

1:22

PBS correspondent and NBC political contributor Yamiche Alcindor said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that while the Biden administration does not want to say there is a crisis on the U.S.-Mexico border, the numbers of people crossing “don’t lie.”

Anchor Chuck Todd said, “Yamiche, the politics of immigration have never gone well for Democrats recently. Are they ready for this?”

Alcindor said, “Only time will tell if Democrats are ready for this. You have a White House that is wanting to say there’s not a crisis at the border, but the numbers don’t lie. You have a number of unaccompanied minors coming to the border that are being held in facilities that even progressive Democrats are pointing to, saying that’s what we call human, then there’s a problem there. You also have a Democratic conference that has been really stuck on the issue of immigration.”

“Time and time again, they’ve tried to do this,” she continued. “This big bill sitting in the Senate, sitting in Congress. It seems as though it’s going to have to be broken up. There’s a lot of different unanswered questions on this. There’s a big problem at the border continuing to brew. This White House is going to have to contend with that.”

JOE BIDEN: HERE'S TO OUR ILLEGALS AND CRONEY DONORS

GOP: Senate-Passed Relief Bill Holds ‘Host of Non-COVID-Related Left-Wing Policies’

GOP senators, who voted against the Democrat-led Senate’s $1.9 trillion coronavirus relief measure on Saturday, sharply criticized the partisan measure upon its passing, emphasizing that it is filled with a “host of non-COVID-related left-wing policies.”

The Senate passed the measure 50-49 on Saturday along party lines. Republican Rep. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) was not present for the vote as he had to travel home for a family emergency.

While Senate Democrats celebrated the measure’s passage — Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) described it as “the most significant piece of legislation to benefit working families in the modern history of this country” — Republicans warned that the bill contains a trove of left-wing pursuits unrelated to the Chinese coronavirus. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) highlighted similar concerns last week, noting that less than nine percent of the House bill went toward measures related to public health.

“I voted against this bill today because it could further wreck the economy and ignite inflation.  This legislation includes a host of non-COVID-related left-wing policies,” Sen. Richard Shelby (R-AL) said in a statement, noting that “nine percent of the funding in the bill goes toward the immediate fight against COVID and one percent toward vaccines.”

The bill, he added, includes what he described as a “massive cash bailout for some mismanaged states and local governments.”

“Democrats are forcing a liberal wish list of pet projects through Congress that’s masked as a pandemic rescue package,” he added.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) also highlighted the bill’s shortfalls and, like his Republican colleagues, explained that just nine percent of the measure goes toward measures related to the pandemic.

“Instead of working in a bipartisan manner to open our schools, bring back small businesses, and help struggling Americans get back on their feet, Democrats chose to pander to their radical liberal base with partisan handouts,” the Texas senator said in a statement.

“This bill is stuffed with pork, with only nine percent of the almost $2 trillion going toward actual and urgent COVID relief,” he continued, emphasizing that the Democrat measure “shockingly provides COVID relief checks to illegal aliens and criminals behind bars.”

“I proposed two amendments to close these loopholes. Democrats voted in lockstep to ensure illegal aliens and prison inmates would still qualify for these rebates,” he said.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) also noted that Democrats voted to hand stimulus checks to criminals in prison.

“They haven’t lost their jobs, they aren’t worried about paying rent or buying groceries. Another example of the unrelated spending in the Democrats’ partisan slush fund,” he remarked.

Republican Sen. Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) said Democrats effectively “took advantage” of the pandemic and poisoned the relief bill with unrelated spending measures that they have been in pursuit of for years.

“Many of my Democratic colleagues refer to this as a recovery package, but unlike the previous five COVID relief bills, this bill risks actually preventing our economy from recovering, which it is already showing signs of doing,” she said in a statement.

“This partisan bill attempts to fix problems that don’t exist, hamstring growth that has already begun, rewards bad decisions by elected officials, and opens the floodgates for unchartered levels of federal spending,” Capito added.

Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) described the bill as a “behemoth” stuffed with programs that “have nothing to do with the targeted, temporary relief the people of Wyoming need to weather the rest of this pandemic” and blasted Democrats for taking a partisan approach in this relief measure.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a statement following the bill’s passage, providing a list of some of the unrelated items embraced by Democrats in the “spending spree” bill. The NRSC’s list included:

“It’s clear. The American people called for targeted relief, but Senate Democrats delivered their far left, radical wish list instead,” the NRSC said.

REPORT: 100K Migrants Apprehended at U.S.-Mexico Border in February

Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 100,000 migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border in February, according to information leaked to Reuters by federal officials. This represents the largest number of migrant apprehensions in February since 2006.

Reuters published previously unreported numbers showing that Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 100,000 migrants in February. If the numbers are accurate, they represent an increase of nearly 33 percent from January. Officials expect the official numbers to be released next week.

The rapidly increasing number of apprehensions follows the abandonment of Trump-era border security and immigration control policies by President Joe Biden during his first days in office.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) sent a letter to President Biden on Friday requesting a meeting to discuss “great concerns” with the administration’s approach to the border, Reuters reported.

“We must acknowledge the border crisis, develop a plan, and, in no uncertain terms, strongly discourage individuals from Mexico and Central America from ever making the dangerous journey to our southern border,” McCarthy wrote.

The number of apprehensions of migrants continues to increase in March with officials acknowledging the arrest of more than 4,500 migrants on Wednesday, the article continues.

On Thursday, U.S. Representative Henry Cuellar (D-TX) reported the apprehension of approximately 10,000 migrants in the Rio Grande Valley Sector during a seven-day period — 2,500 in the previous two days.

“We are weeks, maybe even days, away from a crisis on the southern border. Inaction is simply not an option,” Congressman Cuellar said in a written statement. “Our country is currently unprepared to handle a surge in migrants in the middle of the pandemic.”

Of particular concern is the growing number of unaccompanied minors being apprehended at the border. The massively increasing number led to the Biden administration holding minors in Border Patrol facilities beyond the 72-hour legal limit.

Democrat leaders in South Texas are also critical of the president’s policies that are forcing the release of migrants infected with COVID-19. Officials in Brownsville, Texas, report more than six percent of migrants being released at a local bus station are testing positive for COVID-19.

Texas State Senator Jose “Chuy” Hinojosa (D-McAllen) also complained about the migrants being released without being tested, Breitbart Texas reported in February. “[Border Patrol agents] were just dropping them off at the bus station without testing them. Obviously, that’s very alarming to all of us in that they’re coming from Central America and through Mexico and to be released into the United States without being tested for COVID is really unconscionable,” the Democrat state senator said.

Harris’s Senate Replacement’s First Bill: Pathway to Citizenship for Illegal Alien ‘Essential Workers’

As the discussion over President Joe Biden’s open border immigration policies heats up, at least one Democrat Senator wants to go even farther than allowing tens of thousands of illegal aliens into the country based on asylum claims.

Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA), who took Kamala Harris’s Senate seat, wants to give millions of illegal aliens a pathway to citizenship if they are deemed “essential workers.”

That wish is now in the form of a bill, the first Padilla has unveiled since taking his seat. Padilla told the San Francisco Chronicle:

I think nothing speaks to the moment more than COVID response and fairness for essential workers. On a parallel track, we know that immigration reform is long overdue in the United States of America and there are no states that have more at stake in immigration reform than the state of California.

“A standalone measure allows us to uplift specific elements of a comprehensive package as you continue to gain momentum and support,” Padilla said.

The Chronicle reported on Padilla’s motivation:

In an interview, Padilla said his Citizenship for Essential Workers Act was an easy choice for his first piece of legislation as a senator on a personal and policy level. He noted his Mexican immigrant parents spent four decades working in the service industry — his father as a short-order cook and his mom cleaning houses. Padilla is the first Latino senator from California and one of only a handful in the Senate, and he has already used that position to voice concerns of the Latino community in Washington.

On its own, it’s virtually impossible the bill would become law. The legislation would apply to some legally present immigrants and undocumented immigrants alike, providing an immediate opportunity to start the naturalization process for an estimated 5 million or more people who work in more than a dozen essential industries, including health care, agriculture, service, child care and manufacturing. But the legislation is emblematic of how Padilla hopes to shape the perpetual debate on immigration as it unfolds in coming months.

On December 22, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom appointed Padilla to succeed Harris. Padilla served in the California State Senate for the 20th district from 2006 to 2014.

Study: Amnesty Will Cost ‘Hundreds of Billions’

Mexican deportees walk across the Gateway International Bridge into Mexico after being deported by U.S. immigration authorities on February 24, 2021 in Matamoros, Mexico. President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan will spike Social Security spending by “hundreds of billions” over the next few decades, according to a forecast by the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

The February 22 report, titled “Amnesty Would Cost the Social Security and Medicare Trust Funds Hundreds of Billions of Dollars,” says:

The new taxes paid by the average amnesty recipient amount to only half of the $94,500 noted above. The net effect of amnesty is therefore $140,330 [in Social Security benefits] minus $47,250 [in paid taxes], which is about $93,000 per recipient. In any large-scale amnesty, in which millions of illegal immigrants gain legal status, it is easy to see how the net cost could reach into the hundreds of billions of dollars.

The predicted $93,000 per person cost would be a financial burden for taxpayers — but would be a giveaway to business groups because the Social Security payments will be converted into purchases of consumer products, healthcare services, medical drugs, apartments, and food.

At least 11 million people — perhaps 20 million — are living illegally in the United States. The number rises as people overstay their visas, evade deportation orders, or sneak over the border — but it also falls as some migrants get deported, leave, or find ways to get green cards via the rolling “Adjustment of Status” process.

But taxpayers’ expenses are also economic gains for business groups and investors. In January 2020, a coalition of business groups sued deputies for President Donald Trump after he reduced the inflow of poor migrants into the U.S. consumer market, saying:

Because [green-card applicants] will receive fewer public benefits under the Rule, they will cut back their consumption of goods and services, depressing demand throughout the economy …

The New American Economy Research Fund calculates that, on top of the $48 billion in income that is earned by individuals who will be affected by the Rule—and that will likely be removed from the U.S. economy—the Rule will cause an indirect economic loss of more than $33.9 billion … Indeed, the Fiscal Policy Institute has estimated that the decrease in SNAP and Medicaid enrollment under the Rule could, by itself, lead to economic ripple effects of anywhere between $14.5 and $33.8 billion, with between approximately 100,000 and 230,000 jobs lost … Health centers alone would be forced to drop as many as 6,100 full-time medical staff.

CIS promised a more detailed report:

This is just a rough estimate. We are currently working on a detailed model that will provide more precise costs for both Social Security and Medicare. Again, however, any reasonable calculation will produce a large cost, simply because amnesty will convert so many outside contributors into actual beneficiaries.

For years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and to the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates.

The multiracialcross-sexnon-racistclass-basedintra-Democratic, and solidarity-themed opposition to labor migration coexists with generally favorable personal feelings toward legal immigrants and toward immigration in theory — despite the media magnification of many skewed polls and articles that still push the 1950’s corporate “Nation of Immigrants” claim.

The deep public opposition is built on the widespread recognition that migration moves money from employees to employers, from families to investors, from young to old, from children to their parents, from homebuyers to real estate investors, and from the central states to the coastal states.

However, Biden’s officials have been broadcasting their desire to change border policies to help extract more migrants from Central America for the U.S. economy. On February 19, for example, deputies of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas posted a tweet offering support to migrants illegally working in the United States and to migrants who may wish to live in the United States.

Study: Biden Amnesty Would Import California-Size Foreign Population

President Joe Biden’s amnesty plan, which also expands legal immigration levels, would import a foreign population close to the size of California, new analysis reveals.

Last month, House and Senate Democrats introduced the Biden plan — known as H.R. 1177 & S. 348 — which would give amnesty to the roughly 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States while doubling annual legal immigration to the country, flooding the labor market with more foreign competition for the nation’s more than 17 million jobless Americans.

Analysis conducted by NumbersUSA, which advocates on behalf of American workers for less foreign competition in the labor market, finds that by 2031, Biden’s amnesty will have imported a foreign-born population nearly the size of California.

By 2031, the analysis states, nearly 12 million illegal aliens will have taken advantage of the amnesty provisions of the legislation that would allow them to permanently remain in the U.S. and eventually obtain American citizenship.

In addition to those amnestied, the current annual inflow of 1.2 million green card holders would be doubled to more than 2.4 million. In a 10-year period, altogether, the legislation will have brought more than 37.3 million foreign nationals to the U.S. — just two million less than the population of California.

Put differently, the Biden plan would bring a foreign-born population to the U.S. in ten years that would be more than five times the current population of Massachusetts, where 6.9 million residents live.

The overwhelming bulk of immigration within those ten years would derive from the Biden plan’s exempting spouses and minor children from family-based green card caps. By 2031, in this single category, nearly 9.4 million foreign nationals would be admitted to the U.S.

The other bulk of immigration would come from the roughly eight million illegal aliens, those who are not in specific subgroup categories, who would be able to secure green cards by 2027 and then apply for American citizenship after three years.

Such a massive wave of immigration would be a boon for corporate interests, including Wall Street, multinational corporations, real estate investors, and giant tech conglomerates who would not only benefit from an expanded labor market with cheaper labor but also from more consumers to whom they can sell goods and necessities.

Research by the Center for Immigration Studies’ Steven Camarota reveals that for every one percent increase in the immigrant portion of an American workers’ occupation, Americans’ weekly wages are cut by perhaps 0.5 percent. This means the average native-born American worker today has his weekly wages reduced by potentially 8.75 percent as more than 17 percent of the workforce is foreign-born.

Already, current immigration levels put downward pressure on U.S. wages while redistributing about $500 billion in wealth away from America’s working and middle class and towards employers and new arrivals, research by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine has found.

Similarly, peer reviewed research by economist Christoph Albert acknowledges that “as immigrants accept lower wages, they are preferably chosen by firms and therefore have higher job finding rates than natives, consistent with evidence found in U.S. data.” Albert’s research also finds that immigration “raises competition” for native-born Americans in the labor market.

The Biden plan is also wildly out of step with the opinions of most likely U.S. voters.

The latest survey from Rasmussen Reports, for instance, finds that 73 percent of voters want less legal immigration, more than six-in-ten oppose chain migration, about 64 percent oppose businesses importing foreign workers rather than recruiting Americans, and 63 percent support slowing down or fully cutting U.S. population growth driven by immigration.
