Democrat Texas Border Mayor Slams Biden for ‘Immigration Disaster’
Del Rio, Texas, Mayor Bruno Lozano (D) pleaded with President Joe Biden to address the overwhelming flow of migrants into his border city. He characterized the surge as an unprecedented breach of national security.
“It’s a slap in the face,” Mayor Lozano told the New York Post on Sunday. “You have a breach on national security levels that have never before been seen in modern history and you’re not even batting an eye about it, you’re not even calling it a ‘crisis,‘ you’re calling it a quote-unquote challenge.”
In February, Lozano asked President Biden to not send migrants to his city of 35,000 because they did not have the resources to deal with them, Breitbart News reported.
“I am pleading and requesting with you to please put a halt to any measures regarding the release of immigrants awaiting court dates into the city of Del Rio and surrounding areas,” the mayor said. “We do not have the resources available to house and accommodate these migrants within our community.”
Lozano told the New York Post his pleadings “fell on deaf ears.”
“I’m not trying to demonize the humanitarian aspect by any means but my responsibility is to the city of Del Rio and the residents of Del Rio, Texas, my responsibilities are to the American people that got me elected,” the Texas border mayor stated. “Nobody wants to actually tackle the issue, you’re condoning unlawful behavior, period. There’s a lawful way to enter the United States, there’s a lawful way to seek asylum and it just undermines the entire immigration process.”
The mayor told the reporter that about 150 migrants per day are dropped off at a local humanitarian organization. From there, the migrants are processed and transported to the bus station or airport. But some, he explained, are not ready to leave and need a place to stay.
“That’s when the logistical nightmare begins, where are they going to sleep for the night? That’s the number I worry about each day,” Lozano stated. He said the city has been using a basketball court as a makeshift shelter.
The exacerbated mayor concluded, “You have this policy where unlawful entry is being condoned, criminal activity is being condoned, these migrants are using the cartels to traverse Mexico and that’s a fact and organized criminal activity is rising because of that.”
“I’m calling them out, I’m so frustrated as a border town mayor about all of this,” Lozano said.

EXCLUSIVE: Migrants Pay $500 for Fake UN Documents to Travel Through Mexico
Cartel-connected human smugglers are selling fake United Nations documents to migrants who want to move freely through Mexico as they travel to the U.S. border.
Federal law enforcement officials in Mexico revealed exclusive details to Breitbart Texas about an investigation targeting document forgers. At a cost of $300 to $500 USD, “guides” or human smugglers offer a fake document packet from the United Nations Refugee Agency and a Mexican ID card. Document dealers promise safe passage and eventual entry in the U.S.
Authorities first learned of the case earlier this year when they intercepted a group of 20 Central American migrants with forged documents at a checkpoint in Galeana, Nuevo Leon.
When Mexican immigration authorities checked the documents, they were able to spot the fakes and asked for Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office to investigate the source. The migrants told authorities that “guides” sold the documents and claimed they were legitimate. The documents falsely present the migrants as refugees under “humanitarian reasons” and should confer legal status to travel through Mexico.
Since that initial discovery, Mexican immigration officials found several groups of migrants with the same documents at checkpoints across the country, prompting the National Immigration Institute to issue an alert about forgeries.

The United Nations issued its own fraud alert, warning migrants that they do not charge for or collect banking information in exchange for documents.

Axios: DHS Releasing 87 Percent of Migrant Families into U.S.
Border agents are releasing almost nine out of 10 migrants in families who arrive at the border, according to a report Tuesday in Axios.com.
Axios reported:
The data shows an average of just 13% of nearly 13,000 family members attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border were returned to Mexico between March 14 and March 21 using the public health order, which essentially says the U.S. can close the border to nonessential travel because of the coronavirus.
The 87 percent is up from a 60 percent admit rate in February.
The leak to Axios comes just two days after President Joe Biden’s beleaguered homeland security chief repeatedly told journalists on the Sunday news shows “the border is closed.”
Alejandro Mayorkas, the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, told ABC News on March 21:
The message is quite clear, do not come. The border is closed. The border is secure. We are expelling families. We are expelling single adults under the CDC’s authority under Title 42 of the United States Code because we are in the midst of a pandemic, and that is a public health imperative.
Mayorkas told NPR on March 22:
Our message has been straightforward and simple, and it’s true – the border is closed. The message is quite clear – do not come. We are expelling families. We are expelling single adults.
Mayorkas told Fox News Sunday on March 21:
Chris, we do expel families … The border is secure. The border is closed. We’ve been unequivocal in that and we are operationalizing our processes, executing our plans. We are a nation of laws, and we treat vulnerable children humanely. We can do it and we are doing it.
Mayorkas told NBC on March 21
Chuck, our message has been straightforward and simple. And it’s true. The border is closed. We are expelling families. We are expelling single adults. And we’ve made a decision that we will not expel young, vulnerable children. I think we are executing on our plans. And quite frankly, when we are finished doing so, the American public will look back on this and say we secured our border and we upheld our values and our principles as a nation.
Axios’ leak may indicate growing opposition in the White House to Mayorkas’ radical agenda of widening asylum and parole side doors into the United States. Mayorkas’ easy migration agenda is widely shared by progressives, who repeatedly described the United States as a “Nation of Immigrants” instead of a nation of Americans.
Since President Donald Trump left office, Biden’s officials are voluntarily restarting the federal policy of extraction migration that has pushed and pulled roughly 3.5 million migrants into the United States economy since 2010, despite federal laws setting immigration levels at roughly 1 million per year.
The migrants arrive via the de facto obstacle course migration system for blue-collar migrants — a chaotic Hunger Games trail of loans, coyotes, cartels, rape, deserts, weather, border laws, barriers, rescuers, transport, judges, and cheap-labor employers.
DHS officials defend the policy of allowing migrants families into the United States by saying Mexico does not have the capacity to accept many deported migrants. But Mayorkas and his allies have reduced pressure on Mexico to accept the family migrants — many of whom are following their spouse and fathers who earlier sneaked across the largely unmanned border.
The Mayorkas welcome for migrant families is accompanied by an open-door policy for older teens people who claim the status of “Unaccompanied Alien Children.”
The number of so-called UACs in U.S. custody exceeds 15,000. The spike comes as Mayorkas allows job-seeking teenagers to be treated as children and has allowed illegal migrants living in the United States to pick up their foreign children once they have been relayed by coyotes and federal agents to government-run shelters around the United States.
A record influx of almost 17,300 UACs will arrive during March, according to a report by the Washington Post.
Mayorkas’s acceptance of massive migration is also pulling border agents away from the task of intercepting illegal migrants who try to sneak across the border. Breitbart News reported March 13:
A U.S. Border Patrol source reports the number of migrant “got-away’s” tallied by the agency surpassed 118,000 for this fiscal year. In less than six months, the “got-away” number is nearly double that for all of Fiscal Year 2020. Last year, 69,000 illegal immigrants managed to avoid apprehension by the Border Patrol. Sources report the sharpest increase began in January as President Joe Biden took office.
“The border is wide open,” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Fox News on March 21.

EXCLUSIVE: Biden Begins Immediate Catch-and-Release of Migrant Families Without Issuing Court Dates
A senior-level law enforcement source with U.S.Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in the Rio Grande Valley revealed the implementation of a plan to release migrant families soon after apprehension. The plan radically changes how illegal migrants have been processed in the past and orders Border Patrol agents to quickly release migrant families without notifying the immigration courts or issuing a Notice to Appear.
“This is insane, it is another pull factor that will overwhelm us,” a CBP official with knowledge of the plan told Breitbart Texas anonymously because he is not authorized to speak publically on the matter. “We are creating another entirely different class of aliens we will have to deal with years from now. We will never find most of these aliens once they are released.”
Breitbart Texas confirmed the report with a second official operating under the umbrella of CBP.
The implementation of the plan follows a short discussion of the matter reported on by Breitbart News late Saturday night.
The migrant families will be released without a Notice to Appear, a formal charging document that begins the removal process according to sources. The plan was implemented early Sunday morning and is now in effect.
The source states the plan allows for “prosecutorial discretion” by the Border Patrol for all migrants who enter with children to include whole family units. A one-sheet arrest report is completed, along with criminal record checks and a photograph of the migrant. The new process relies on migrants to tell officials what city they will be traveling to. The migrant is subsequently asked to report to the nearest immigration court office when they arrive so that they can place themselves into formal removal proceedings.
The source believes this to be an impossible feat for the immigration courts to achieve. He further added, “If we can’t process them with our staffing of thousands and are being overwhelmed, the minimal staffing of court clerks around the country will never catch up — even if the migrant shows up.”
Without a Notice to Appear, the migrants are free to travel about the country and are not officially placed into the immigration court system. The court cannot order the removal of a migrant in absentia for failing to appear for a future court date, the source explained. the existence of a removal in absentia order from the court allows immigration officials to remove the alien without appeal if they are later encountered. Under this new process, the migrants will not have a removal in absentia order for failure to appear officials issued no order to appear under the unprecedented plan put in place by the Biden administration on Sunday morning.
This is yet another pull factor that will entice more migrants to make the journey north. The source reports the new procedure is only being implemented in the Rio Grande Valley Sector of the Border Patrol in South Texas. This is troubling to the source.
“If they are not doing this in the Laredo or Del Rio Sectors, guess what, their traffic will come here to benefit from the immediate release, this plan will likely backfire,” the source explained.
The CBP official said this plan is a result of capacity issues at Border Patrol stations but feels this will only exacerbate the issues they are dealing with.
“We may be reducing the time it takes to release a family unit but if we encourage more to come once they find out it is quicker here, we’ll be in the same boat again,” the official concluded.

What we are seeing here is plain old garden variety Mexican
meddling in our internal affairs, this time rooted in some icky
festering wounded national pride, some bid from Mexico to
assert itself over U.S. laws in the wake of Trump's muscle on
Mexico over the illegal migrant surge, using the U.S. courts with
their continuous anti-Trump rulings to make itself the sovereign
here. Mexico has already sent their illegals and now they want to
take over gubernatorially through the courts, which puts this act
on a continuum.
THE NEXT MEXICAN INVASION IS AT HAND:
"Mexican president candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador called for mass immigration to the United States, declaring it a "human right". We will defend all the (Mexican) invaders in the American," Obrador said, adding that immigrants "must leave their towns and find a life, job, welfare, and free medical in the United States."
http://mexicanoccupation.blogspot.com/2018/07/mexican-president-andres-manuel-lopez.html
"Fox’s Tucker Carlson noted Thursday that Obrador has previously proposed granting AMNESTY TO MEXICAN DRUG CARTELS. “America is now Mexico’s social safety net, and that’s a very good deal for the Mexican ruling class,” Carlson added."
"Many Americans forget is that our country is located against a socialist failed state that is promising to descend even further into chaos – not California, the other one. And the Mexicans, having reached the bottom of the hole they have dug for themselves, just chose to keep digging by electing a new leftist presidente who wants to surrender to the cartels and who thinks that Mexicans have some sort of “human right” to sneak into the U.S. and demographically reconquer it." Mexico: Where Is Your Shame?
At a demonstration Wednesday in Mexico City against Arizona's law.
ASSOCIATED PRESS
Immigration: Mexico's government gloated triumphantly after a federal judge's injunction blocked Arizona's immigration law. But it's no victory for Mexico. In fact, Mexico's leaders ought to be mortified.
As radical immigration activists crowed with glee and the Obama administration claimed victory, Mexico's government joined the applause.
Calling Judge Susan Bolton's injunction Wednesday "a step in the right direction," Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa declared: "The government of Mexico would like to express its recognition for the determination demonstrated by the federal government of the United States and the actions of the civil organizations that organized lawsuits against the SB 1070 law."
In reality, it ought to be ashamed. Supposedly framed as an issue of federal power pre-empting state power, it's hardly Mexico's business. But Mexico made a big show of saying its interest was in protecting its nationals from the dreadful racism of Arizona that its own citizens, curiously enough, keep fleeing to.
Espinosa said her government was busy collecting data on civil rights violations and her department had issued an all-out travel warning to Mexican nationals about Arizona.
That's where Mexico's hypocrisy is just too much.
First, Mexico encourages illegal immigration to the U.S. Oh, it says it doesn't, but it prints comic book guides for would-be illegal immigrants and provides ID cards for illegals once they get here. In Arizona alone, Mexico keeps five consulates busy.
That's not out of love for its own citizens, but because Mexicans send cash back to Mexico that helps finance the government.
Instead of selling its wasteful state-owned oil company or getting rid of red tape to create jobs in Mexico, Mexico spends the hard currency from remittances. It fails to look at why its citizens leave.
According to the Heritage Foundation-Wall Street Journal 2010 Index of Economic Freedom, Mexico's big problem is — no shock — government corruption, where it ranks below the world average.
That's where Mexico's cartels come in.
Mexico's encouragement of illegal immigration undercuts its valiant war against its smuggling cartels. The cartels' prowess and firepower have made them the only ones who can smuggle effectively across the border. U.S. law enforcers say they now control human-smuggling on our southern border.
Feed them immigrants and they grow more cash-rich — and right now, immigrant smuggling is about a third of the cartels' income.
Mass graves and car bombings are signs of criminal organizations getting bigger, and more powerful. Juarez, which has lost 5,000 people this year, bleeds because cartels fight over not just who gets the drug routes, but who gets the illegal-immigrant smuggling routes, too.
Aside from the cartel mayhem in Mexico, the bodies are piling up in the Arizona desert and U.S. Border Patrol rescues of abandoned illegals left to die have risen.
It's not the desert's fault, and it's certainly not Uncle Sam's fault, as activists claim. No, it's the fact that Mexicans are encouraged to emigrate. Criminal cartels don't fear abandoning their human cargo in the desert, as long as Mexico does nothing and blames Uncle Sam.
Hearing Mexico's government now cheer the Arizona ruling, which will only encourage more illegal immigration, gives the country's regime a pretty inhuman face.
If Mexico had any decency, it would do all it could to discourage illegal immigration and keep a respectful silence about Arizona.
It needs U.S. support for its war on cartels. Instead of insulting American citizens, Mexico should confront directly the reasons why its people are so desperate to leave, and do all in its power to destroy the cartels that are slowly killing the nation. That includes defunding the murderous gangs by halting illegal immigration.
Mexico’s President Says Biden Responsible for Migrant Surge at Border
Expectations created by President Joe Biden about better treatment for migrants led to the current border surge, said Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO).
During his daily news conference, AMLO spoke about the ongoing border crisis and said the increase in migrants entering Mexico and heading to the U.S. is partly due to the expectations created by President Biden.
AMLO: “Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so” pic.twitter.com/TNrZQamuWK

“Expectations were created that with the Government of President Biden there would be a better treatment of migrants. And this has caused Central American migrants, and also from our country, wanting to cross the border thinking that it is easier to do so,” AMLO said.
The statements come one day after Mexico’s military confirmed the deployment of 8,700 soldiers to curb the growing number of migrants traveling through the country.
