Every year in America, some 500 whites are murdered by black assailants, more than twice as many as blacks killed by whites.  The media need to report all of these cases fairly and without bias so as to counter the false reporting and misplaced emphasis in the national press.  All victims, of whatever race, deserve justice because all human life is precious.  The reporting of violence should not be based on race — it should be proportionate to the crime, without regard to the race of the perpetrator or the victim.  Jeffrey Folks

The media has omitted the race of the perpetrators, a policy that ironically makes race even more salient. Video footage shows the perpetrators were black. Eyewitness accounts confirm that. The bottom line is that the Democrat Left is infested throughout with Jew-haters, race hustlers, looters, rioters, people who disrupt legislatures and speeches, men who use their fists on women with whom they disagree, and an organization (BLM) that praises terrorists, cop killers, and a dictator who murdered thousands of Cubans.

Democrat Left Goes All in on Hate, Disruption, and Violence

The Republican Party threw away two easily won elections in 2020 and 2022 by focusing on unproven allegations of widespread election fraud. Regardless of what you or I think of that election, the swing voters who decide the elections do not believe there was election fraud, so we need to focus on winning issues in 2024.

The Democrat Left has demonstrated repeatedly that it is the party of racial animosity, anti-Semitism, civil unrest, shouting down political opponents, and even battering women who get out of line. Note that I say "Democrat Left" rather than "the Democrats" because there are still some traditional centrist and pro-worker Democrats who still identify with the party of Harry Truman and John F. Kennedy rather than that of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden.

The Tennessee Three

While expulsion came across to me as too draconian for the disruption of legislative proceedings by three Tennessee Democrats, and counterproductive because the communities that elected them returned them to office immediately, the Democrat Left has put itself on record as (1) condoning the disruption and (2) lying about Justin Jones and Justin Pearson being ejected for legislating while Black and/or protesting. The First Amendment right to protest is not a license to hijack the floor of a state legislature with a bullhorn.

This is far from Justin Jones' first brush with violations of parliamentary rules and even the law. He was arrested for misdemeanor assault for throwing coffee on two other legislators, although the charge was dismissed after he stayed out of trouble in accordance with the judge's instructions. Jones also played a role in obstruction of traffic during a Black Lives Matter disruption (I say "disruption" rather than "protest" because protest is a First Amendment right and obstruction of traffic is unlawful), and appears to assault a driver with a traffic cone. He also stood on top of a police car during more BLM antics, although he apparently did not damage the car. Now let's take a look at who condoned the behavior in question.

• Kamala Harris, who is one heartbeat away from the presidency and control of our country's nuclear weapons, said of these three individuals, "A democracy says you don’t silence the people, you do not stifle the people, you do not turn off their microphones when they are speaking about the importance of life and liberty." Actually, Vice President Giggles, your microphone is turned off in any kind of legislative assembly or parliamentary activity except when it is your turn to speak. If you don't understand that, you are incompetent, dishonest, or both.
• Joe Biden, who does control our country's nuclear weapons, "…thanked the lawmakers for spotlighting what he called undemocratic and unprecedented attacks on them this week, and invited them to the White House in the near future." Maybe he should also, under the same standards he just expressed, thank the people who invaded the Capitol on January 6 2021 but did not destroy property or assault police (the Tennessee Three did neither), invite them to the White House, and thank them as well.
• Barack Obama said, "This nation was built on peaceful protest. No elected official should lose their job simply for raising their voice–especially when they’re doing it on behalf of our children." This shows that he also is incompetent, dishonest, or both because they didn't lose their jobs for "simply raising their voices," which they have a constitutional right to do in an appropriate place such as outside the Legislature building. If Obama thinks they have the right to shut down proceedings instead, he does not understand the Constitution which brings into question his competence as an attorney, or he chooses to misrepresent it.

Biden, Harris, and Obama have therefore put themselves squarely in the camp of the leftist extremists who think it is OK to shout down a Federal judge at Stanford, and also shout down not only conservative speakers but also one from the American Civil Liberties Union.

Solid Blue San Francisco State University is OK with Men Who Batter Women

A gang of thugs at San Francisco State University who objected to swimmer Riley Gaines's opposition to having to compete against biological males forced her to take refuge in a classroom for three hours while some demanded money to let her leave. A man, and I use the term loosely, allegedly used his fists on this woman, which normally constitutes misdemeanor assault. I cannot give legal advice, but my understanding is that a demand for money backed up by a threat of physical force constitutes robbery or extortion. False imprisonment, which can be charged as a misdemeanor or felony depending on the circumstances, also comes to mind.

SFSU's President, Lynn Mahoney, said of these events, “Last Thursday, Turning Point USA hosted an event on campus that advocated for the exclusion of trans people in athletics. The event was deeply traumatic for many in our trans and LGBTQ+ communities, and the speaker’s message outraged many members of the SF State community." The President of SFSU is of course lying about anybody wanting to exclude trans people from athletics. Nobody is going to stop Lia Thomas from competing against other men in a sport in which upper body strength conveys an advantage.

Maybe the man who allegedly used his fists on Gaines is unhappy that she alleged that Lia Thomas exposed his "courting tackle," the term used by George Macdonald Fraser's antihero Harry Flashman for male genitalia, in the women's locker room. Maybe President Mahoney is also OK with thugs forcing a terrified woman to hide in a classroom for three hours for fear of being gang-beaten by them. The rest of us, including potential SFSU applicants, are free to conclude that SFSU is a physically unsafe learning environment where (alleged unless and until somebody is convicted) assault, unlawful imprisonment, robbery, and/or extortion are tolerated.

18 U.S. Code § 241 - Conspiracy against rights says meanwhile it is a felony "If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any [constitutional] right or privilege so secured.…" The phrase "go in disguise on the highway" brings to mind Ku Klux Klansmen on horses with torches in their hands. I see no difference between the thugs who terrorized Riley Gaines for not knowing her place and the night-riding Ku Klux Klansmen of the post-Civil War Confederacy.

This Needs to be a Central Issue in 2024

The Democrat Left, including the current and former heads of the Democrat party, has come across as condoning disruption of the legislative process and, in the case of SFSU's leftist administration, failure to condemn unequivocally physical threats and violence against a speaker. This, along with the fact that ActBlue Charities has apparently renewed its relationship with Black Lives Matter, needs to be a front and center issue in 2024.

At Least 32 Shot During Weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago

At least 32 people were shot, eight of them fatally, during the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

Breitbart News noted at least 20 were shot Friday into Saturday night alone, and four of those shooting victims succumbed to their wounds.

By Monday morning, ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times reported the number of weekend shooting victims was at least 32, and that four more shooting fatalities had occurred.

One of the four additional shooting fatalities was that of 17-year-old Curtis Moore, who was shot in the chest and killed Saturday night at 11:17 p.m. Saturday night. Moore was “in the 800-block of West 51st Street” when someone opened fire from inside a vehicle, striking him in the chest and killing him.

Another one of the additional shooting fatalities was that a 20-year-old man, who was approached by others while walking “in the 3800-block of West Arthington Street” and shot “in the face.”

The 20-year-old was taken to a hospital where he died.

The Sun-Times observed 153 people were killed in Chicago January 1, 2023, through April 16, 2023.

On April 16, 2023, Breitbart News pointed out riots filled the streets of Chicago, prompting the Chicago Police Department (CPD) to call for reinforcements downtown for the fourth night in a row.

At least 20 people were shot, four of them fatally, Friday into Saturday night in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times reported at least 20 had been shot Friday thru Saturday night at 10:29 p.m.

A 16-year-old boy “near 37th and Wabash” was approached by a group of people who began shooting at him just before midnight Friday. The teenager was taken to the hospital, where he died.

A 21-year-old man was found shot to death “in the 2500 block of West Adams Street” around 2:50 a.m. Saturday, and another man was shot and fatally wounded while standing on a sidewalk around 9:19 p.m. Saturday.

The man was on a sidewalk in “the 13000 block of South Champlain Avenue” when shots rang out.

A gunman dressed in all black entered a bar “in the 5400 block of West Madison Street,” in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, Saturday night around 10 p.m. He shot and fatally wounded one person whose age is not known. He also shot a second person but the wounds were not life-threatening.

The Sun-Times noted that 151 people were killed in Chicago January 1, 2023, through April 15, 2023.

Large Groups of Teens Erupt in Four Days of Violence Days after Democrats Choose Chicago for 2024 Convention

For a fourth night in a row, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) was forced to call for reinforcements downtown as large numbers of teens gathered and engaged in rioting, violence, and even a Saturday night shooting.

The carousing began Wednesday night, only days after the Democratic National Committee (DNC) chose Chicago for the site of its 2024 National Presidential Convention despite that the city suffers one of the nation’s highest murder rates.

The CPD was first called out in force at around 10 p.m. Wednesday night when about 200 teens erupted in a mass fight in the city’s popular Millennium Park at the southern end of the “Mag Mile.” The Wednesday night incident became the city’s first “large group” incident of the year, according to Chicago’s CBS affiliate.

The youths were reportedly fighting and harassing other people at the park, according to reports.

The crowds of unruly teens, though, were back for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as police struggled to head off violence.

Video of the gangs of teens jumping on top of mass transit buses and rushing through the streets of Chicago on Friday appeared on Twitter. The video also showed CPD officers desperately trying to corral the gangs of kids.

A video posted by Chicago’s ABC7 showed teen pouncing on top of random cars in the street:

Fox Chicago reported that the roving gangs of teens were also seen bashing in car windows, and after shots were fired, they noted that they pulled their news crews off the street due to safety fears.

Indeed, NBC 5 Chicago reported that two teens were wounded in the Loop on Saturday as hundreds of teens once again flooded the downtown area and engaged in spasms of violence.

The victims, two boys, 16 and 17 years old, were reportedly hit by bullets while standing among the crowd when an unknown assailant fired the shots. It is not known if the shots were fired during a fight nearby or if it was just random, senseless shooting.

The four nights of violence comes only three days after Chicago was chosen as the site for the DNC’s 2024 convention and only ten days after the city elected a radical, soft-on-crime, defund the police, “progressive” to the mayor’s office.

Late last week, ahead of being sworn in as the Windy City’s next mayor, Brandon Johnson absurdly claimed that blame for the city’s rising crime rate could be laid at the feet of businesses because, in his estimation, “70 percent don’t pay corporate taxes.”

The former union organizer blasted the state’s struggling businesses saying that “70 percent of large corporations in the state of Illinois don’t pay a corporate tax,” and added. “It’s that type of restraint on our budget that has caused the type of disinvestment that has led to poverty, of course that has led to violence.”

The self-professed “progressive” did not reveal his source for the 70 percent claim.

Even as the violence continues to spin out of control in the downtown Loop area, Johnson disgorged mere platitudes about the unrest during a Friday visit to Jesse Jackson’s Operation Push headquarters.

“My heart breaks for the families, which should never have to suffer the pain of a child being shot or lost to gun violence in our city. As a father, what I want for my own children is what I want for every child in Chicago. Their safety, and their healing from trauma, will be a priority of my administration from day one and beyond,” Johnson said in a statement on the recent violence.

“But we will not just protect our children — we will love them, and nurture them, and give every one of them the hope and purpose they deserve,” he concluded.

The mayor-elect of Chicago, Illinois, said that while he does not condone violence, “it is not constructive to demonize” the teens who participated in four nights of violent rioting, which included a shooting on Saturday. 

“In no way do I condone the destructive activity we saw in the Loop and lakefront this weekend. It is unacceptable and has no place in our city. However, it is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities,” Mayor-elect Brandon Johnson said in a statement Sunday. 

“Our city must work together to create spaces for youth to gather safely and responsibly, under adult guidance and supervision, to ensure that every part of our city remains welcome for both residents and visitors,” he continued. “This is one aspect of my comprehensive approach to improve public safety and make Chicago livable for everyone.” 

Chicago’s sitting mayor, Lori Lightfoot, also released a statement, calling the rioting “reckless, disrespectful and unlawful behavior.”

“As I have said before, we as a city cannot and will not allow any of our public spaces to become a platform for criminal conduct,” Lightfoot said. “Most importantly, parents and guardians must know where their children are and be responsible for their actions. Instilling the important values of respect for people and property must begin at home.”
